Bed & Breakfast il Bolentino Varenna

I liked the breakfast and the area was very quiet. I also liked the free parking. The room was clean and they had a goodie basket filled with snacks and drinks that was nice.

Renata was absolutely amazing from Asking question I had via messages and giving some great recommendations. Would definitely recommend and would go back to stay if I’m ever back to varenna.

Room had everything we needed, was very clean, comfortable bed in a great location. Breakfast was delicious and peaceful in cute courtyard. Renata gave us a warm welcome, made us feel comfortable so much I wanted to stay. If we are able to return to Lake Como, we’ll be staying again.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr rührig und bemühen sich sehr. Das macht den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und fast ein wenig privat. Das Frühstück ist sensationell. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und es gibt jede Menge kleine Gimmicks, die man kostenfrei nutzen kann.

The location was perfect - easy to get from the train station and near the lake, the ferry and the city center. The owners were very kind! The apartment was clean and the bathroom had everything that you need. The breakfast was really nice and with a view to the lake. Our stay was without any problems and for a reasonable price. The air conditioning kept us cool and. comfortable during the heatwave. The staff is very kind and hospitable. They think of special ways to keep their guests happy and comfortable! Breakfast is set up outside where you can see the beautiful views. The location is perfect if arriving by bus or train and walkable to everywhere.

We loved our stay here! The hosts make you feel very welcome and were a pleasure to stay with. The rooms are very spacious with clean and large bathrooms. Breakfast was a highlight with daily fresh fruit. It's located 5 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the port so is in an ideal spot. The room also has AC and black out blinds with very comfy beds. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The location was close to the train station and walkable everywhere. Our host Renatta was very sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was good especially the fresh sliced bowls of fruit and coffee. Snacks in the room along with bottled waters was a nice touch. Grazie

A very central location, so close to the train station and ferries. A short stroll to restaurants and all the tourist spots. Thank you to our hosts Renata & Antonia for looking after us with such care and warmth. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and very comfortable with complimentary bathroom supplies and slippers. Also a generous supply of fresh fruit, nuts and drinks in the room. The continental breakfast provided was so delicious. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cakes, bread, Italian ham, cheese, coffee, tea and juices. The breakfast room looked out onto the garden, on warmer days you could sit outside on the terrace to enjoy.

The location was fabulous, only a couple of minutes from the train and the ferry. The room was very comfortable. Renata was so welcoming and offered a delicious breakfast.

Amazing accommodations hosted by a truly wonderful couple. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and cared for. Although the breakfast may not have been elaborate, it was homemade and thoughtfully prepared—the host even woke up early to make sure everything was ready for us. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality really stood out. You can tell they take pride in creating a warm and comfortable experience for their guests. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we would absolutely choose to stay with them again.

Honestly, the only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough. We were only there for one night due to our own schedule, and we truly wish we had booked a longer visit to enjoy more time at this lovely place.

Ideally located just a short walk from the train station—and even closer to the lake’s most beautiful spots—the property itself was quaint, charming, and impeccably clean, making it perfectly suited to all of our needs. Our hostess was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast spread was both amazing and delicious, and the outdoor cats were a delightful bonus.

Видно, що тут дійсно дбають про комфорт гостей і підтримують високий рівень у всьому. Окремо хочеться відзначити власників — це неймовірно привітні, щирі та уважні люди. Вони створюють таку теплу атмосферу, що відчуваєш себе не просто гостем, а бажаною людиною. Завжди готові допомогти, підказати та зробити відпочинок максимально приємним. Це місце, куди хочеться повертатися знову і знову. Однозначно рекомендую!

Una estancia fantástica. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, perfecta para moverse y disfrutar del pueblo con total comodidad. El desayuno merece una mención especial: variado, de gran calidad y preparado con mucho cuidado. Mención especial la hospitalidad de los dueños. Nos han hecho sentir como en casa desde el primer momento, con una atención cercana y amable que marca la diferencia. Se nota el cariño con el que gestionan el hotel y cómo cuidan cada detalle. Un lugar totalmente recomendable al que volveríamos sin dudar.

Da simpatia do casal. Quarto super confortável e agradável, com casa de banho. Camas muito confortáveis. Tinha mini bar com água, iogurte e coca cola. Tinha chá e frute, tudo oferta. Pequeno almoço com croissants, fiambre, snacks, fruta bolos, chá, café e leite. O Sr teve o cuidado de esperar por n´s na rua frente ao hotel às 21h 30min. A cerca de 4 min da estação e do ferry. Perto de tudo.

Es un bread and breakfast atendido por sus propios dueños. Está muy bien ubicado a pocos metros de la estación de tren y también cerca de donde parten los ferrys. Renata está en cada detalle. Te deja fruta y agua de cortesía en la habitación. Muy rico el desayuno. Lo pasamos hermoso y descansamos muy bien. Lo recomiendo

Soggiornato a Varenna mentre percorrevo il sentiero del Viandante. Posizione comoda per poter ripartire la mattina seguente e ricollegarsi al sentiero. ( al primo incrocio a sinistra riprendere la mulattiera per vezio) Proprietari accoglienti e disponibili, attenti ai dettagli, rendono il soggiorno molto piacevole. Colazione abbondante e molto varia. Super consigliato

The two grandparents hosting the B&B were really kind and very accomodating. The building was located really close to the main landmarks and to the train station. The breakfast was fresh and the room was equipped with extra free goods (fresh fruit, dry fruit, coca cola and ice tea drinks in the frige). Overall, great value for money. The grandma also gifted us a bouquet of mimosas from her garden and two sachets of dry lavender since it was our anniversary, which was very sweet.

The location is excellent—only about a 4-minute walk from Varenna-Esino railway station and around a 3-minute walk to the Varenna Ferry Terminal, which made it very convenient for traveling around Lake Como. The hosts, Renata and Antonio, were very welcoming and accommodating; Antonio even met us at the gate when we arrived. The place was very clean and had everything I needed during my stay, including thoughtful amenities like disposable slippers and feminine wash. Breakfast was included, and Renata prepared it and made us coffee. It was simple but delicious—I especially enjoyed the prosciutto, the different cheeses, and the fresh fruits. They even gave us a tea bag as a small token, which was a nice touch.

Todo, los dueños lo hacen muy acogedor porque ellos son muy amables y tanto en la habitación como el desayuno, tiene todo mucho detalle. Gran variedad en el desayuno y en mi caso me compro yogur y leche sin lactosa, muy serviciales y amables Te deja fruta gratis en la habitación, bebidas etc La cama muy cómoda. La ducha perfecta. La ubicación genial a 2 min del ferry. Que mas se puede pedir??

La luz del baño de encendía y se apagaba de manera automática, y solo lo veo un problema o cuando llevas un rato duchándote o por molestar por la noche cuando te levantas al baño. El precio me pareció excesivo pero es la zona. Compartir mesa en el desayuno con la otra habitacion, y no tener intimidad para hablar, hay quien como yo no le importa y hay quien como mi marido pues no está tan a gusto. Para gusto los colores.

Everything was wonderful. It’s in such a good location - right next to the lake, ferry and train station. Lovely views over breakfast. It was immaculate, such comfy beds. But the best part was our hosts - they were so kind, so caring and we felt we’d had our batteries recharged and felt truly nurtured. Great breakfasts! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. After 4 days I felt like we’d had a proper holiday.
