L'emplacement est top, la plage en face de l'hotel est magnifique

La propreté laisse a désirer. Plusieurs fois notre addition n'était pas juste avec des ajouts de boissons. L'hotel est meme venu avec un tpe sur le port car il avait oublié une addition.

Die Lage der Strandabschnitt ist sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und auch die Getränke im Mowies Restaurant.

Die Tür hatte einen Spalt, sodass die Tür nicht komplett dicht war. Dadurch konnten Mücken reinkommen.

Lovely location right by the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Made adjustments to accommodate gluten free needs in the restaurant.

Wszystko oceniam na 10/10 Jedna z lepszych lokalizacji, pyszne jedzenie, można naprawdę się zrelaksować od samego wejścia, klimat jaki tam panuje i pracownicy jacy tam są to rewelacja, od samego początku zostaliśmy powitani zimnymi napojami i oprowadzeni po hotelu.

Het personeel was geweldig. Iedereen was zeer vriendelijk en probeerde er aan bij te dragen om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Toen we een nacht bij wilden boeken waren ze zeer flexibel en dacht men goed mee om een oplossing te voorzien. De locatie was perfect en de zonsondergangen waren hier elke avond prachtig.

Lunch en diner hadden wat ons betreft beter gekund.

I was in the beachfront villa with the bath. Definitely style over substance. Lots of light pollution and noise from competing music from different bars through it did quieten down after 10. Bath too shallow to fill. More bugs than I’ve had elsewhere. Doors that catch.

On entend assez fort la mosquée le matin mais c’est assez identique partout sur l’île je pense.

Les gros avantages de cet établissement sont la localisation et la gentillesse du personnel. Vous êtes à côté d'une des plus belles plages de l'ile, très calme avec un coucher de soleil. La chambre était propre et le restaurant très bon.

Que ne fut pas notre surprise quand nous sommes arrivés et que n'avions pas la chambre que nous avions réservé. Selon le réceptionniste cela serait du a un problème technique, mais nous avons pu voir sur booking que d'autres avaient eu le même problème durant ces derniers mois. Nous n'avions donc pas les memes services que prévu (moins d'espace, pas de baignoire etc), aucune remise de prix nous a été proposée, en insistant ils ont bien voulu nous offrir le petit-déjeuner (peu de choix non payants). Nous aurions donc aimé davantage de transparence et d'honnêteté. De plus, le logement reste assez cher.

Atmosfera de la hotel, plaja, terasă superbă, curtea interioară, personalul foarte amabil.

Camera a fost o reală dezamăgire, cea mai mare țeapă pe care ne-am luat-o vreodată într-o vacanță. Am avut cameră cu pat dublu și 2 paturi suprapuse, pentru ca am fost împreună cu fetița noastră, care nu arăta deloc bine, părea ca are nevoie de o renovare urgentă. Pereții cu urme de insecte moarte, pânză de păianjen la baie, musculițe pe pereți, așternuturi mirositoare. În prima noapte am avut o cameră în care am găsit un păianjen foarte mare, iar în a doua zi am schimbat camera cu una identică, dar care avea în plus un dulap (prima nu avea niciun dulap, niciun raft unde să ne punem lucrurile). În niciun caz aceste camere nu ar putea fi calificate ca fiind de 4 stele.

My stay was absolutely marvelous. The hotel is in front of the beach, the food was really good, the room was big, beautifully designed and thoughtfully detailed. But the best thing of all is the staff, always smiling and ready to help.

Flotte værelser, venligt og hjælpsom personale og lækker strand med solsenge. Maden var helt fantastisk, både morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad er værd og spise her. Du kan tilbringe en hel dag her også slutte af med solnedgang lige ude foran:))

Nous avons passé une nuit à Mowies on the beach, gros coup de cœur pour Ady qui servait au restaurant et qui était super gentil. L’emplacement était idéal, la chambre très belle et propre.

The restaurant, location, food and service was terrific.

Room 9 was unsafe due to the steep, dangerous staircase to get to the bed. I slept downstairs on the couch as I had a hip injury and was worried I’d fall down the stairs. I informed the staff prior to arrival about the injury but they still put us in that room.

Nous n'avons pas eu la chambre réservée sur booking, Le bungalow supérieur.'Sois disant que lors de ma réservation la chambre était déjà prise et que c'est une erreur informatique du site . Bizarre je réserve depuis longtemps et cela ne m'est jamais arrivé ! Et je pense que vu que ma réservation était faite depuis décembre 2025 , ils avaient large le temps de nous prévenir ! Bref nous pensons que des clients insatisfaits ont du profiter de notre réservation. On nous dit que nous avons été surclassé à la place . La chambre était bien mais beaucoup plus simple que celle réservée. Donc évidemment déçue 😞. Le restaurant de l'hôtel était moyen .

Très bel établissement avec accès direct à la plage , sunset memorable! Personnel très gentil, professionnel et accueillant. Les chambres sont très belles et sont climatisées .

Location and rooms were amazing

We had specifically booked the beachfront room and booked this over 7 months in advance, only to turn up and they admit they’d double booked it so that for one night we would have to stay in a different room (still at mowies) and then move. This did affect our enjoyment as meant couldn’t properly relax and settle in on the first day, plus we had selected mowies specifically due to the availability of the beachfront room. I was disappointed not to be told in advance when they clearly knew of their error.

Obiekt zadbany i świetnie położony , tuż przy plaży . Bardzo dobre i urozmaicone śniadania . Personel zawsze uśmiechnięty i pomocny . Czuliśmy się tam mile widziani . Jeśli kiedyś znów będziemy na Gili to wrócimy do Mowies on the Beach

Great hotel with an excellent beachfront location! Everything is within walking distance, and the beach is right in front of the hotel. The restaurant was very good, with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff and a wonderful stay overall. Highly recommended!

Magnífico alojamiento junto a su beach club para pasar unos dias en Gili Air. La atención era muy buena, tenian en cuenta todos los detalles. Tener el hotel con su propio beach club a pie de playa era estupendo y muy comodo. La comida muy buena y con precios similares a los de la isla. Te proporcionan hasta toalla de playa y secador de pelo.

Había bastante mosquitos y bichitos, aunque con la mosquitera se solucionada rápido.

Tout vraiment parfait avec un bémol

La chambre (10) est conçue pour 4 personnes (une grande lit et un lit superposé) mais la chambre n a pas de rangements, aucun, et la salle de bain non plus, elle est vraiment trop petite pour eccuellir 4 personnes pendant 5 jours. Pour moi c est la seule remarque.

Nice rooms and relaxing atmosphere fantastic food and location.

The team (especially the manager Bali) were very friendly and helpful (interesting thing was the men and boys had a lot more easy charm than the females). The location of the resort is fabulous- and the standard of international healthy food options was exceptional- I have travelled around six Indonesian 🇮🇩 islands and the Mowies menu was unique- and most enjoyable. My bungalow was set in lovely gardens and it was in a relatively peaceful area of Air - you do of course still get the distinct bass music sounds filtering through but they really aren’t intrusive. The restaurant on the beach is a very popular sunset chilling venue but the team willingly reserve tables or sunbeds etc for resort guests as a priority. Although I have made some comments about some improvements I would like to see I would most certainly choose Mowies when I visit Gili Air again. Bali (manager) was superb at really showing interest in helping guests to feel comfortable and cared for.

My bungalow (the only that was available was no 10 that had a bed and some bunk beds) I think is on the next phase of renovations. There was no wardrobe or anywhere to hang or place clothing, no bedside tables with charging points, no bedside lamps. Also the terrace would benefit from a rack or rail to dry swimwear etc and somewhere in the bathroom to hang towels is needed. Having paid a high season price I was expecting some higher interior standards of design.

Mowies er uden tvivl det bedste sted, vi har boet under hele vores ferie i Indonesien. Billederne af stedet er smukke, men det var absolut endnu bedre i virkeligheden. Det ligger PERFEKT, der er solsenge på stranden til fri afbenyttelse, personalet var enormt servicemindede og venlige, solnedgangen er enormt smuk fra restauranten og maden var helt fantastisk. Tusind tak for et virkelig dejligt ophold. Hvis vi nogensinde kommer tilbage til Indonesien er det helt sikkert, at vi kommer tilbage og bor hos jer. 10/10 ⭐️

Mowies is such great value for money. We had the famiily room which had a queen bed and 2 large bunk beds. Right on the beach, with great food and amazing service! Wish we could have stayed here for our whole stay but unfortunately there wasn't availability.

Prachtige gerenoveerde kamer, ruim! De strandstoelen die bij Mowies hoorde waren ook gezellig met een goed uitzicht voor zonsondergang - het personeel was ook enorm vriendelijk (credits to Ali)! Hygiëne was ook zeer goed. Handig dat er een muggennet rond het bed zat.

Alles in orde - Tip: afwerking in de badkamer nog eens bekijken.

Ci è piaciuto tutto. La posizione , la spiaggia favolosa( tra le più belle di gili air) ben tenuta. Una laguna dall'acqua meravigliosa. La struttura è curatissima e si pranza / cena sulla spiaggia . Qualità del cibo ottima. Posizione ideale per ammirare i tramonti.staff cordiale e sempre sorridente. Semplicemente fantastico tutto.

What truly makes this accommodation stand out is its beachfront location. In the evenings, you can enjoy stunning sunsets, while during the day it's the perfect place to swim, relax, and enjoy the gentle waves. The property itself is clean, welcoming, and offers all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The only minor issue we experienced was that our TV didn't work because there was no remote control, but aside from that, our room was in good condition. The swimming pool is pleasant, not particularly luxurious, but a great place to cool off during the warm days. The restaurant is also good, and the breakfast menu offers plenty of variety. Overall, this is a great place to stay and one we would definitely recommend when visiting the island.

Ubicación perfecta, el hotel está al lado de muchos restaurantes y bien conectado con las calles principales. La playa está muy bien y es el sitio perfecto para ver el atardecer. El personal del hotel es muy amable y atento. Menú de desayuno muy variado.

La limpieza de las habitaciones deberían de mejorarla, en particular el baño. También recomendaría cambiar el colchón, estaba muy hundido.

The hotel was situated right on the beach. The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble. The food at the hotel was amazing I would highly recommend staying here. It was our wedding anniversary when we were there . The hotel had decided our bed and we had a special sunset dinner table. It was lovely. Thank you to all the staff at mowies.

The island is so pretty you can walk around the whole thing in 1 hour.

We hebben een super fijne tijd gehad bij Mowies! De bedden en kussens lagen heerlijk, het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het eten was erg lekker! Echt een mega aanrader!

Die Lage und das Personal. Sie haben Ausflüge, Transfer, Wäsche Service und Fahrräder zu sehr fairen Preisen angeboten und waren super hilfsbereit.

Het restaurant, de ligging, het strandgedeelte, het zwembad,... was top!

De geur van de handdoeken leek niet fris gewassen, ook de geur aan de kamer was niet aangenaam. De fietsen werden als gratis voor gasten geadverteerd op booking en op de website, maar is ter plekke niet zo. Niets van info over de ontbijt uren, prijzen,.. voor hotelgasten op de kamer. Een tv aanwezig op de kamer zonder console, zelfs na navraag geen oplossing gekregen. Als de ligzetels aan zee vol liggen heb je als hotelgast geen optie meer, ze reserveren er enkele maar wordt ook door niet-hotelgasten gebruikt. Snacks kregen we nog niet om 15u, pas om 17u, beter te vermelden op de kaart.

Отличное месторасположение, приятный улыбчивый персонал, чистая территория, прекрасное море, хоть и вход не идеальный из-за кораллов, но и не проблематичный; вкусная еда в ресторане при отеле. В целом, если бы мы вернулись на этот остров, то скорее всего в этот же отель.

Мы бронировали два номера, так как семья большая. Один номер был прекрасный красивый, всё необходимое в нем было. А вот второй номер - семейный с двухярусной кроватью, он был бы тоже хорош, если бы в нем был шкаф, но шкаф отсутствовал, вещи некуда было девать, только оставлять в чемодане или вешать на стул. Это единственное неудобство, в остальном мы остальным всем очень довольны.

Mowies heeft een geweldige ligging direct aan het strand met een ontspannen sfeer. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, de kamers waren schoon en comfortabel en we hebben tijdens ons verblijf heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Een perfecte plek om te genieten van Gili Air.

Colazione ottima, ricca e diversificata. Per qualsiasi servizio extra gestiscono direttamente. Cibo molto buono, ambiente favoloso esternamente.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Incredible location for sunset, with tables and loungers in the sand at the onsite restaurant.

We stayed in the family bungalow which was the only room type to accommodate us with our son, whilst we were comfortable as this room type has enough space for a double bunk bed, it was the only room type that hadn’t been updated, so in comparison to the other rooms, you couldn’t actually compare them as they were like you were staying at two different resorts. We also couldn’t sit outside on the day bed or on the bean bags on our deck, or around the pool as the mosquitos were rife which was a huge let down. They need to address this so guests can actually enjoy the space around the villas and pool.

Die Sauberkeit im Bad hätte besser sei dürfen, Badewanne (Highlight des Zimmers) war nicht sauber, Kissen bei der Badewanne auch etwas schmudelig. Duschköpfe müssten dringend mal entkalkt werden. Türschloss/Schiebetür muss repariert werden, die Tür hängt sich immer wieder aus.

Comfortable rooms, lovely beach restaurants and great location.

Wir sind nun schon zum dritten Mal zu Mowies gereist. Im ganzen Trubel, der sich inzwischen auf Gili Air ausgebreitet hat, ist und bleibt Mowies unsere kleine Glücksoase. Das unfassbar nette und aufmerksame Team setzt dem Ganzen noch die Krone auf. Wird hoffentlich nicht unser letztes Mal dort gewesen sein!

De locatie van de accommodatie is fantastisch! Aan het strand. Het ontbijt maar ook de lunch en dinerlaart heeft veel heerlijke en gezonde opties. De zonsondergang is iedere avond te zien vanaf Mowies! Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. We voelden ons erg welkom en men was altijd in voor een praatje. Via Mowies hebben we een snorkeltour gedaan waarbij we schildpadden, koraal en veel vissen hebben gezien. Goed geregeld! En over all een hele goede prijs!

Room was large, restaurant was nice, enjoyed the sunsets very much.

Reception never had any staff, they were usually MIA. Food was nice, but they put pumpkin in all their food. Our room had 2 floors, the upper windows didn't have shades so day light would always wake us up. Washroom is on the lower floor so we had to make some 2-3am trips down which was inconvenient.
