Reviewed Jul 16, 2025Very nice room and spacious. Great to have a small fridge, crockery and utensils provided to use for breakfast as it is not included at this property. A lovely welcome from our host.
The property is a little away from walking distance to shops and food places so having a car would be preferable. Our mattress was really firm, but if you don’t mind this it would not be a problem.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2025Perfect location, a very short walk to Ullapool harbour. The owner, Mairi, was lovely, and the room was a great size and very comfortable bed.
No complaints at all. The only thing to mention for awareness is that our room, 1, had a wet room which isn't our preference and did get a bit messy and slippy. Other than that would highly recommend!

DIY was happening under our room window on the front drive which we were unaware of. We planned 2 days there for a rest whilst travelling the NC500 but the clanging and power tools kept us from our rest day unfortunately.

We stayed on 2 separate occasions - the first time saw no-one at all, the second time bumped into the owner on our way out. Understand they have to work, but it would be nice to have someone there to greet guests. Felt quite impersonal. Would generally expect breakfast to be included for the price paid.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2024Loved our large ensuite bedroom with a small fridge and dining area. It was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Our host was really friendly and the location is very convenient, just on the edge of town.
We liked everything, but to achieve 10/10 from us, there needs to be a cafetiere or coffee machine as we don't like instant. Would happily return though as coffee shops close by.

Minor but there was no way to easily adjust the volume on the tv. The shelf near the window was loose and dipping meaning items like cups and glasses slid off.

Breakfast wasn't included despite what Booking.com say but host pre warned us. Room contained small fridge and host provided bowls, cutlery etc so you could eat breakfast in the room. Good location, about 5 - 10 minutes from Ullapool.
