Το Palm Apartment ήταν πραγματικά μία από τις καλύτερες επιλογές για τη διαμονή μας στο Άμστερνταμ. Πεντακάθαρο, άνετο, με όλα όσα χρειάζεται κανείς, σε εξαιρετικό σημείο κοντά στο κέντρο και ταυτόχρονα με απόλυτη ησυχία και ιδιωτικότητα. Είχα διαβάσει πριν φτάσουμε τις εξαιρετικές κριτικές και σχεδόν όλοι ανέφεραν τις χαρακτηριστικές απότομες σκάλες των σπιτιών του Άμστερνταμ, λέγοντας όμως ότι δεν αποτέλεσαν ποτέ πρόβλημα, γιατί ο οικοδεσπότης βοηθούσε πάντα με τις αποσκευές. Έτσι ακριβώς έγινε και με εμάς. Μόλις φτάσαμε, πήρε αμέσως τις βαλίτσες μας και τις ανέβασε ο ίδιος. Από εκείνη την πρώτη στιγμή, με το χαμόγελο, τη ζεστασιά και την οικειότητά του, καταλάβαμε ότι η διαμονή μας θα ήταν ξεχωριστή. Ακόμη και μετά το check-out, μας φύλαξε τις αποσκευές μέχρι την ώρα της αναχώρησής μας. Αυτό όμως που δεν θα ξεχάσω ποτέ ήταν η βοήθειά του όταν ξαφνικά αντιμετώπισα σοβαρό πρόβλημα με το δόντι μου. Ασχολήθηκε πραγματικά και έκανε ό,τι μπορούσε μέχρι να μου βρει οδοντίατρο. Και επειδή ταξίδευα με το σκυλάκι μου, φρόντισε ακόμη και γι’ αυτό, βρίσκοντας μια αξιαγάπητη γειτόνισσα να το κρατήσει όσο θα ήμουν στον γιατρό. Όταν βρίσκεσαι σε μια ξένη χώρα και σου συμβαίνει κάτι απρόοπτο, τέτοια φροντίδα είναι ανεκτίμητη. Το ότι μπορέσαμε να συνεχίσουμε και να απολαύσουμε τις διακοπές μας οφείλεται σε μεγάλο βαθμό και σε εκείνον. 10/10 χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη, τόσο για το Palm Apartment όσο και, κυρίως, για τον υπέροχο άνθρωπο που το διαχειρίζεται. Θα επέστρεφα ξανά και το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Ένα τεράστιο ευχαριστώ για όλα! ❤️

Lovely apartment, perfect for a couple to spend few days in Amsterdam. Host is very responsive and friendly and we loved the extra mile he went for accommodating us with both check-in and check-out timings and for helping us with info and bookings. The apartment is very bright, nicely decorated and functional. Neighbourhood very quite, village feeling and the neighbours very friendly. Will definitely book again!

We loved the apartment and there is nothing we didn't like. Perhaps the only thing is that is missing a small hob in the kitchen, but to be honest we didn't miss it as we was always out and there is a microwave in case of any necessity of warming things up.

We are travelers from Latvia / Belarus. I would like to send my warm greetings and sincere thanks to Jan-Willem, who checked us in. We were absolutely charmed by your charisma and hospitality! So it is no surprise that such a handsome and kind person has such a cozy apartment. We loved everything: it was stylish, cozy, and clean. It is obvious that the people who created this apartment have excellent taste. I have nothing else to add except that I would give it 100 out of 10.

From our hosts greeting to our final wave on departure, the stay at Palm Apartment Amsterdam was fantastic. The hosts were delightful. The furnishings were both beautiful and comfortable. All the necessities were provided. Ease of access to wifi, the quiet location close to tasty restaurants, and the walkability to so many sights added to the Amsterdam experience. We hope to return in the future!

The Palm apt is the most perfect place to stay in the beautiful Jordaan neighborhood. Very comfortable bed, well appointed, clean, and very quiet. JC and JW were so welcoming and helpful. And the App they set up has all the info you need. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you both for a wonderful first visit to your beautiful city.

Absolutely perfect, beautiful, comfortable space a way from the hustle and bustle but convenient enough to walk if you enjoy that and having a more local feel. The most amazing hosts, sad to leave! 100 percent recommend! Thank you for sharing your apartment with us!

This is one of the best places I have stayed in - and I have stayes in a number of apartments in cities around the world. Everything about the property exceeded my expectations. If I had more starts to give, I would give it 10 stars. If you are reaching for a place to stay and have reached here, please look no further. It is centrally located, has lots of space for two people to stay comfortably all the amenities are comfortable. The hosts are warm, generous and accommodative. They were helpful with advice and even carried our bags up and down the stairs - which was somewhat embarassing.

Apartamento com decoração linda, cama e travesseiro excelentes, localização perfeita, absoluto silêncio, chuveiro quentinho; mas do que mais gostamos foi dos anfitriões, excepcionais, os melhores que já tivemos em nossas viagens. Além da simpatia e alegria com a que nos receberam, tiveram a gentileza de deixar bebidas, stroopwafles, muito café e chá. Vamos voltar ano que vem e recomendaremos para todo nossos amigos.

Jan was super helpful and very responsive to all messages, really thoughtful to have local beer and sweets for us in the apartment, everything was incredibly welcoming. Easy walk to trams and buses, coffee, bakeries and restaurants. Walkable to most main attractions.

The apartment was very spacious, located in a lovely area with so many conveniences and dining options near by. It was fairly quiet but a short walk away from anything I needed. Most importantly the hosts were so gracious, helpful and kind. Their generosity was a highlight of the trip.

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at this beautiful Amsterdam Palm Apartment. From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They kindly carried our luggage up the stairs, checked in during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, and truly made us feel at home. The apartment itself was gorgeous—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with wonderful items in the refrigerator and on the counter, which was such a lovely surprise after traveling. The location was perfect: close enough to the city center to easily walk or bike to all the sights, yet just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is truly a gem of a place, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very well positioned in the city, very comfortable and well furnished with plenty of space. The beds especially are very comfortable. The hosts could not be kinder or more helpful. Just great all round.

The hosts were amazing! So friendly, welcoming and helpful. A great home away from home. Loved having a separate bedroom from the living area and kitchenette that you just won’t get in a hotel and MUCH more spacious than the typical Amsterdam hotel room. Toilet is in a separate powder room from the shower, off the main living area of the apartment.

Typical of these houses, be aware the stairs are quite steep but the hosts carry all luggage up and down the stairs with a smile.

Location was perfect & the owners where both so lovely! Couldnt do anymore to help us! Even carried my suitcase for me :)

Nothing could have been better, it was perfect.

The bed was soft for us but that is such a personal preference. The linens were excellent. The hosts could not have been more friendly, responsive and warm. The apartment is decorated in an understated elegant and comfortable way with nice touches such as some antique furniture mixed with contemporary. The location is fantastic and the apartment is extremely quiet. The immediate neighborhood had restaurants and grocery stores. All kitchenette and bathroom facilities seemed new.

The quirk of the apartment is that the large window in the main room looks out on the deck of the neighbors, so we often had the blind closed or partially drawn so as not to be on display, or to feel that we were intruding on their privacy, since their windows were maybe 10 feet away. That said, we would absolutely choose this place again.

This is an absolutely beautiful apartment. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and we truly enjoyed our stay. Awesome location with an easy walk to any thing you may need or want. Don’t hesitate to stay here I guarantee you will love it. We sure did 😁

This Airbnb is a real treasure and totally changed my experience for Amsterdam, a city I visit twice a year. I will now onwards give up staying at hotels, and hopefully if available, try and only stay here. The neighbourhood is a dream, it’s a beautiful and upscale residential area with lovely quaint cafés away from the touristy chaos and noise. The apartment is impeccable, it’s done up very nicely, sophisticated and lovely, and the hosts have thought of every little thing and nuance that you might need. It’s flooded with natural light. The two host are extremely welcoming and help you with the luggage carrying, which is very helpful and kind. Really enjoyed interacting with them and the warmth that was extended to us. Just had a complete blast staying here, and would recommend it hand down. 👍

Clean spacious apartment in the nice suburb but walking distance to city centre. Lots of cafes and supermarket close by.

Only downside would be lack of privacy that we are use to but in Amsterdam that’s how they live. Windows open to the close neighbours.

Stairs to our first floor apartment were steep but hosts took up our suitcases which was great. We thought it had a stove included but then we ate out locally..

Wow, such a wonderful place to stay with the most equally wonderful hosts! The location of the apartment is enough out of the hustle of the main areas of Amsterdam, but close enough to walk into it should you wish. The apartment has been recently redecorated, including new beds, which were super comfortable. A lovely surprise of having a few stock items in the fridge and some yummy biscuits too. The hosts kept in touch with us during our stay including recommending places to eat and drink, and also what to do should we accidentally lose the key! We would both hand on heart recommend staying with JC and JW at the Palm!

Loved the apartment! Very cultured and great decor (some of which I would have purchased for my own flat! - great taste). The apartment was finished to a high standard throughout and everything was well-maintained. I can tell that great thought went into providing guests with anything they might need, as the hosts provided cleaning and sanitary/bathroom products, universal power adapters, and a welcome snack/drinks!

The apartment doesn't have controls for its own heating system - it has a dial which allows you to adjust the heating when on, but it appears the main control to turn the heating on/off is in the flat above with the hosts/landlord. This impacted us during our stay because we were cold during the late evenings, where it felt inappopriate to ask the landlord to turn the heating on (11pm+), we resorted to bringing the duvet's into the lounge area to keep warm. I'm sure this won't be a problem during the summer. The location is 20-25mins walk from Centraal station.

Everything about the apartment was perfect, the location is just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Everything in the apartment is of a high quality and Jan the host is wonderful, he's very helpful and can’t do enough to ensure your stay is a successful one, he recommended a local restaurant which was just perfect for us.

The apartment was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable with high-quality sheets. It was in a quiet, safe area that was walking distance to many shops and attractions. The hosts were gracious and kind. Highly recommend staying here.

Location is perfect. Restaurants, cafes, bars all around and a 10 walk to the old town centre. The property is presented in immaculate condition - totally quiet, perfectly clean, and everything you need in place. The hosts are simply fantastic - great communicators, super helpful, great recommendations, and lovely people.

The place was more than we could have imagined the owners were amazing they were helpful and very friendly

Spacious, modern studio apartment in an excellent location. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Excellent blinds that block all the light. Well appointed (soaps, drinks, snacks etc). Host met us for check in and carried bags up the steep staircase. Host provided helpful tips and other guidance via a bespoke app.

The studio is part of a larger apartment and you can’t lock the studio when you go out (but you can lock it from the inside when you’re in the studio). Average cooking facilities (no stove, oven is a microwave with oven functions, and no proper cooking knives).

The apartment is in a lovely quiet location in the Jordaan area. The nearby tram station enables easy access to the whole city. The hosts were very helpful and kind. The apartment was exceptionally clean and provided us with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. (The only thing I would mention is that access to the apartment is via a steep staircase, of which there seem to be many in Amsterdam, so perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.)

The host was very friendly and helpful and gave us complimentary drinks and some stroopwafels that my wife Rachel really enjoyed

The host was amazing, so friendly and able to give advice and recommendations. The host has also developed their own app which is useful for navigating around the city and identifying places of interest. The apartment was extremely clean, modern and comfortable. Little touches like toiletries, tea and coffee and a few welcome refreshments in the fridge were just fantastic.

Excellent location, in what felt like a quieter area but easy to walk to the centre. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy, no noise at night.

The toilet is separate to the shower room, in terms of personal preference I find it more convenient to have both in the same room.

JW and CJ are the best hosts anyone could ask for. From the moment we stepped into the apartment, we felt welcomed and at home. The apartment is very comfortable, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed during our 4-night stay. The location is perfect! We had the best time! The apartment was perfect and we have no complaints. We fell in love with Amsterdam during our stay and couldn't have had better hosts.

Perfect size and facilities for a city trip. We were a couple travelling with a 1 year old and the owners were so accommodating, setting up a travel cot and providing a baby changing mat for us. The place was comfortable, well equipped and well located.

The host was fantastic. He was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We liked the location. The lodging was clean, the bed was comfortable, the washer and dryer were an added plus. As it was very hot the day we arrived another added plus was the fan.

The hosts are fantastic... friendly, informative and very helpful... but they disappear when you don't need them! ;-D The accommodation couldn't be better. Large living area, modern, high spec, bathroom and totally separate toilet. Marvellous location. Easy walking to everywhere and the best tapas bar you will find outside of Seville just round the corner.

Perfect little oasis in the middle of Amsterdam, within walking distance from all attractions. Jan is the most hospitable and humorous host. Hope we can stay there again in the future to meet up with him.
