La cama era comodísima y nos encantó el detalle de la chocolatina a la llegada. Jenny fue una anfitriona encantadora, siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo. Nos hemos sentido como en casa y ha sido, sin duda, uno de los alojamientos más cómodos de nuestro viaje. Muchas gracias!!

The apartment is located in a quiet, peaceful area, with supermarkets and other essential shops conveniently nearby. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a comfortable experience and would happily recommend this apartment to others.

The breakfast was......wow. cereal, toast, fruit, margaritas in fridge with variety of spreads. Bread in freezer too. Board games were great. Location perfect. Anyone needing a stay in Whitianga this is the place to go.......that's if it's free. Thanks

Reviewed May 19, 2026Spacious, clean and quiet location. It was a cold evening when we arrived and the owner had turned on the heating so it was toasty and warm when we arrived. Fantastic breakfast options with a selection of delicious cereals, oats for porridge, more than half a dozen different breads and spreads, tinned fruit, and hot options including Watties spaghetti & baked beans, and instant noodle pots. Plunger coffee, tea and orange juice.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Jennie war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Frühstücksraum war mit ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck ausgestattet, gute Auswahl an Marmelade fürs Frühstück. Ein schönes Badezimmer mit Badewanne, Dusche und eine separate Toilette. Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner. Direkt um die Ecke war ein Supermarkt.
Für den Frühstücksraum heißt es in der Beschreibung es ist eine "converted" Garage. Darunter würde ich aber nicht erwarten dass sich hinter dem Vorhang der Abstellraum mit Autoreifen, Fahrrädern und anderen Maschinen/Dingen befindet. Der Wäschetrockner hat leider keine Abluft nach draußen, somit wurde es im Raum leider schwül/feucht (die Wäsche kann draußen aufgehängt werden, hatte für uns leider nicht gepasst). Wir hatten zwei große Koffer, die konnten wir leider nur im Frühstücksraum unterbringen.

Jenny und Peter waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns sehr unterstützt. Wir hatten ein Schlafzimmer mit Blick und Zugang zu einer kleinen Terasse nach hinten gelegen. Das hat uns sehr gefallen.

Restaurants und Strand sind fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt in der Wohnung eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Das fanden wir super. Sie Vermieterin war sehr nett und freundlich.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025A lovely modern property with exceptional standards. I was really impressed with the presentation and I had a cosy decent sized room looking out onto a private garden. The breakfast was great, with plenty of self service options. Also, oodles of towels. Jennie was very welcoming and allowed me an early arrival to get myself ready for an event. I thank her for that.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2025Jenni went above and beyond to supply a great selection of breakfast supplies, beach towels, beach bag, laundry detergent. The space was large an the bed was comfy and the bedroom was spacious with access to the back deck. Jenni was so very helpful with recommendations and let us have a later checkout.
The only thing that was not so great was the owners barking dog and hearing the TV and conversations from the owners residence above. Overall a really comfy stay.

Jennie had provided a huge selection of cereals, different breads and spreads for breakfast, as well as milk, orange juice and filtered water. The area of the accommodation was very spacious compared to many air b n bs and nicely decorated..
The downside of the air bnb being part of their house, was that they had painters working on the top storey of their house, who started thumping around above us at 7.00am every morning - and I'm not a good sleeper. But obviously that was just bad timing for our stay. I didn't like the lounge area of the accommodation sharing the fluorescent lights of the garage.
