Bathroom needs improvement, specially the showers, it would be good to have some more separation between the balconies of each room, for more privacy. The common kitchen needs to be maintained by staff daily and the waters and driks to buy should be in a separate fridge (as there is almost no space for guests food)

The place is run down. Workmanship is a disaster. Never stayed at a place that smelled so bad and was not maintained. Paint and wall paper peeling, mold, pillows as flat as pancakes. Bed as old as antique and as hard as a rock. I left within 2 hours of arriving. Could not sleep in that place. Tried to get a refund from owner but was rejected. To top it off the add records a stretch of stairs to get to the apartment. It was not a stretch of stairs, it was 137 steep stairs. Only suitable for young people and if you have an appetite for mess.

The private bathroom is located outside the bedroom ,across the top of the stairs and is next to the shared TV lounge. This was not explained in the room details .The location is very very unsuitable for people who have any problem climbing 120 STEPS!!!!!! also the lighting on the step path is poor, very poor. The car parking is in a normal public street at the bottom of the 120 STEPS .!!!!!.

The fact that no water was available at the tapes and we couldn't take a shower in the morning. This was a council issue and affected the entire area, had nothing to do with Bluenote Guesthouse.

They also provide additional snacks and wine for a small fee, which was a really convenient touch. The Muzeinberg beach is conveniently located 5 minutes and there’s also tons of restaurants located nearby.

Shower floor is very slippery and needs more traction. Rugs have no traction and are a tripping hazard. Beach towels are not provided, which is inconvenient for travellers who fly. The floorboards squeak and the person underneath was very upset if we even walked to the bathroom. Thick dust under the beds, which gave me a stuffy nose. Certain guests conduct their Zoom meetings from the lounge which prevents other guests from enjoying the lounge.

From the moment we made our first contact, to stepping foot on the property, to interacting with the staff, enjoying the delicious breakfast, to departure…everything was remarkable. The team went out of their way to make sure we were happy, comfortable and that we had everything we required. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. We wish this business nothing but the very best of success going forward. Thanks to Andrew, Dee and the third team member (forgot the name, apologies).
There is nothing we did not like. We loved EVERYTHING. Keep up the great work!
