Everything! From the ample parking, the warm welcome, the bright, tasteful decor of the spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed, the thoroughly clean ensuite, the night-time quietness and then the quality breakfast served by the friendly host. We would certainly recommend this B&B.

Bernie and dermot were extremely welcoming into their home. They were very friendly. The stay was very comfortable. Room cost and warm. Great powerful shower. breakfast was delicious..location was perfect, less than a 5minute drive into the town. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.

Great place to stay—very clean, comfortable, and within a short walking distance of the town centre. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat nearby. Her husband prepared breakfast for us the next morning, and it was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend it!

Breakfast was lovely. Nice choice of cereals, seeds, fruit, yogurt, brown bread, full Irish breakfast orange juice, really nice coffee. Location is perfect for exploring West Cork if you have a car. If not, Clonakilty village is lovely.

Wonderful hosts, went above and beyond expected. Breakfast was great..property neat and clean…and they have the cutest dog! Room was upstairs, a lot of natural light, nice view of the landscape.

Unfortunately we stayed during heatwave so room was v warm. This was not fault of the host but maybe a fan in the room should be provided however we didnt request one either.

Zeer mooie en ruime kamer. Heerlijke douche. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en smaakte heerlijk. Gastvrouw was erg aardig en behulpzaam.

Bernie was an excellent host , going above and beyond for us. We had a very comfortable stay and were treated to a full Irish breakfast. Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend this accomodation if planning a trip to Clonakilty.

Room was immaculate, comfortable bed clean facilities, kettle etc. in room. Breakfast was delicious cooked to order. Dermot was an excellent host.p Very helpful. Lovely quiet location.

Walk was just a little longer into village than we thought but still would stay there again!

I stayed here for just one night and had a fantastic experience. Communication with Bernie was easy and pleasant, and the room was spacious, very comfortable, and spotless, truly felt like home. The neighbourhood was quiet, and parking was easy. The breakfast was excellent and a perfect start to the day. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this accommodation to others!

Bernie was absolutely great host, Bernie was always kind, attentive, communicate well and clearly through the app and was ready to help, yet never intrusive which made our stay especially comfortable. The bedroom was clean, very tidy, and comfortable, with a nice warm homely feeling. There was a kettle and mugs with coffee and tea for us to make. Our room had a wardrobe which was came very useful to have a place for clothes. The en suite was very clean, had plenty of towels and a shower equipped with shampoo and shower gel. The water pressure of the shower is amazing. We had a homemade full Irish breakfast with tea and orange juice which was absolutely delicious and neatly plated, which added to the satisfaction. Cereal and fruit salad was also available while we waited for the breakfast. Overall, I would definitely stay here again myself and definitely recommend it to others.

Bernie was a great host, made us feel very welcome on arrival. Let us settle in then offered to drive us into town so we can get something to eat (2100) as we were on motorcycles and covered a few 100 km that very hot day and also collected us after when we finished (2230) all with a big smile. Cannot be more helpful. Room was clean good shower, bed was very comfortable and also Good breakfast. Highly recommend place and if in the area would definitely stay there again.

A very nice and quiet place to stay with a good hospitality. We were even offered to be dropped at the church for our grandson’s Holy Communion. I would recommend anyone to stay at The Well Bed and Breakfast. It is as it is called The Well Bed and magnificent Breakfast.

We were really impressed with the facilities .We actually booked the next night. Bed very comfortable room was bright, airy and spotless clean. Great shower. Breakfast was excellent. Dermot and Bernie were excellent hosts Iwould highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
