The breakfast was outstanding and so well prepared. The location was ideal for us in our tour of NC500 and more. The personal touches made the stay memorable

We only stayed one night was a disappointment. So quiet, relaxed and pleasant that not staying longer was disappointing.

A warm welcome from our hosts when we arrived. The accommodation was well appointed and it was lovely having a separate lounge. Lovely and quiet. Comfy bed and a fantastic breakfast provided at our own dining table. Thank you.

We zijn enorm vertroeteld hier. Elke dag schone handdoeken, alles was schoon, elke dag nieuw lekkere snacks, thee, heerlijk ontbijt, opgemaakte bedden en zelfs de schone was is voor ons opgevouwen die te drogen hing. Veel meer dan nodig was eigenlijk, maar ontzettend lief!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Ardenlea où rien n'est laissé au hasard: le logement est très propre et bien équipé, avec tout le nécessaire pour s'y sentir bien. Nous avons particulièrement profité du copieux petit-déjeuner, des snacks et boissons gratuites ainsi que de la localisation idéale du logement.

Je ne pense pas à des points qui pourraient être améliorés.

Attention to detail by Catriona and Andrew is immense. If you ever need somewhere to stay in the area, Ardenlea is the place. There isn't anything they won't do to make your stay wonderful and if it was possible, we would give a score of 11 out of ten.

If I had an apartment I would like it to be like this. The small garden at the entrance, giving way to a charming, nicely decorated and well equipped apartment. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. My knee was not in a good condition and they offered a patch to calm down the pain. The breakfast was superb, prepared with love. Thank you for sharing all these with us. We felt like home.

Short walk from Kyle station and near to local facilities. Beautiful location. Very spacious accommodation that was spotlessly clean. Little touches like water, beer, sweet things and even a very generous nip of whisky. Bathroom very luxurious, with plenty of products and a decent shower. Very generously sized and high quality breakfast that I couldn’t finish. Hosts were lovely and friendly.

La casa è meravigliosa! Pulitissima, confortevole, il letto è molto comodo ed è in un'area molto tranquilla, non essendo direttamente su strada. Inoltre la posizione è ottima, trovandosi vicino al ponte che ti porta sull'isola di Skye. Ma la ciliegina sulla torta è stata la colazione: squisita, probabilmente tra le migliori mai fatte. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene, non posso che consigliare questo posto!

Fantastic accommodation, beautifully converted and presented. Very modern and great attention to detail in all facilities. Catriona and Andrew are great hosts, really friendly. Full service is provided in this proper/traditional BnB. The breakfast is excellent! Like all properties on/near Skye it's not cheap, but with this one you do get what you pay for. Separate bedroom, bathroom and lounge, so makes for a comfy setting to stay home when the weather turns 'Scottish'! They even leave you a wee dram to sample after a long day out.

This is a large suite comprising a lounge, double bedroom, large bathroom plus a built in wardrobe. Quality throughout with only the best provided. Gorgeous electric recliner leather sofa in the lounge typifies the quality of the whole suite. The bathroom is top end throughout with lovely tiles and expensive fittings. Plenty of storage for clothes and belongings. Beautifully decorated through with imaginative use of colour, wallpapers and fabrics. Two large modern smart televisions with full access to streaming services and catch up TV. High speed broadband is available at no extra cost via WiFi. Lovely breakfast served in the suite on trays with your choice of hot food plus granola, yogurt, toast and croissants with conserves. Fruit also with fruit juice and coffee and tea. Little touches like whisky to sample plus little edible treats and beers in the fridge. The cost is a little more than some accommodations but, you certainly get what you pay for.

Fomos de carro, foi super tranquilo encontrar e estacionar na casa, além de ficar a 5min da ponte para a Ilha de Skye. 50min de Portree por estradas maravilhosas. Vale muito a pena!

Awesome B&B and the hosts were so nice! We got in late they were pleasant and helpful as we were tired from a long day of travel. Breakfast the next morning was the best we had in the 10 days we were in Scotland and London!

The whole experience was perfection! It was a delight to stay here! The hosts attention to detail, comfort, cleanliness and thought (even a complementary whisky) that went into what visitors need made this our nicest and most comfortable stay ever through booking.com. The breakfast was wonderful (also best breakfast ever) and laid out beautifully 😍. There was a lovely terrace outside where we ate our dinner listening to the birds surrounded by very well tended gardens. Thankyou so much to the hosts!!!

We had an amazing stay! Wonderful breakfast and lovely hosts!

Un séjour inoubliable grâce à un couple d’hôtes exceptionnel ! La photo choisie pour représenter la maison ne rend absolument pas justice à la qualité de l’hébergement dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Nous avons séjourné dans une suite spacieuse et confortable, avec un petit salon indépendant, une grande chambre et une salle de bain très agréable. Le ménage était fait tous les jours et, à chaque retour de nos explorations, nous découvrions avec surprise de petites dégustations différentes. Un vrai régal ! Le petit déjeuner était copieux, varié et servi chaque matin avec attention. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse, leur discrétion et toutes leurs attentions qui ont rendu ce séjour vraiment spécial.

A lovely couple, putting a great deal of thought into the details of the accommodation and the breakfasts! Really good facilities, including a small fridge stocked with fresh milk and a nicely presented bathroom with shelving for wash bags.

A small thing but the lovely view from the bedroom was not really usable, as with the curtains open anyone walking along the driveway could see straight into the bedroom.

We loved this location. The room was beautiful, a lot of space. It is a place to relax and we took advantage after already a long trip. The living room was super comfortable, and I loved the reclining sofa. In addition, they offer tea, coffee, snacks and welcome drinks that add special touches. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was super clean. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. This place definitely deserves the highest score as the attention of the hosts was great, the place very clean and with all the items that you require and additional touches that add comfort to your stay. The location is very nice too, you get to enjoy a nice garden with good weather.

I would have rated this Guest House/B&B as 5 Stars if not for the very poor handling of a misunderstanding over the disposal of a glass milk bottle (189ml). The owner was rude and unreasonable, comparing the disposal of the bottle akin to taking glassware or a whiskey decanter. I suggested the instructions should be more clear on what is complimentary. Everything else about the location was just lovely....excellent bedroom, with plenty of room for two and luggage, and sitting area with a reclining couch for two. Breakfast was quite nice, with large portions. Lovely patio and beautiful gardens. Short walk into town for dinner. Limited options for dinner if arriving late in the evening. Some hotel restaurants only serve hotel guests. Take out options will be at least a 10 minute walk back to the B&B.

Welcoming host, comfortable and quiet rooms, great breakfast. Especially loved the scrambled eggs with salmon. Close to Plockton, a small village on coast with restaurants and walks.

A very spacious and comfortable setting we could look out into a beautiful garden with lots of flowers and a view. The breakfast was over-the-top, generous and delicious more than we ever expected. The host left us, generous snacks, and some beer and even some scotch in general. It was beyond our expectations. The hosts were lovely and helpful.

This property in all aspects was exceptional. It was presented like a five star hotel with private access, a sitting room, bedroom and stunning bathroom. There were many extras like fresh flowers on the table, a tot of whisky and complimentary beer in the fridge; a selection of teas, coffee and biscuits and the added bonus of fresh milk rather than UH2. The toiletries in the bathroom were of superior quality. The entire accommodation was warm and comfortable, and a very comfortable bed. Very pleasant host Katriona

I could probably talk good things all day about this place!!! Andrew and Catriona were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very stylish and warm. The location was perfect and a lovely patio to relax on in the evenings. As the for the breakfast...wow!! ..we had omelettes, pastries, fresh fruit and tasty rolls to choose from accompanied by fresh coffee. Obviously a lot of thought, time and effort goes into providing a stay like this and both should be super proud. Faultless. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about staying here. 10/10
