Good location, rooms were decent, place is kept clean, facilities in-room also ok, beds were comfortable

The staff really don't connect with guests well. The person at the front desk wasn't really welcoming. More importantly, the so-called executive premium room we got for 4 guests really was small for 4 people, when the 2 extra beds were put, there isn't much place to move around. They should just call this a 3 guess max occupancy. Plus room should be cleaned every day without guests asking for it. Most disappointing was that there is no in-room dining service or even a restaurant on the premises. We didn't opt for the included breakfast rate but we were unable to order anything later for lunch as well. Again, the person at front desk whom we called to check was not at all helpful about this.

The staffs were friendly and exceptional! They provided all the assistance I needed. Definitely my go to hotel if I ever visit Madurai!

The air-conditioning was very poor. Use of fan was a must, but it turned out noisy. Could not sleep well. Room was too small for the rates charged.

Está net i l habitació es amplia. El llit es còmode. Unicació bona per moure t entre els dos punts turístics de la ciutat.

Cal avisar que vols un esmorzar continental i no indi . Tot i així el propietari ens va oferir un esmorzar gratuïtament. Va ser tot un detall.

Als je het gordijn open doet dan kijk je tegen een blinde muur op een paar centimeter afstand van het hotel. We moesten vroeg weg en het personeel wou ons niet een ontbijtje meegeven, dit was wat teleurstellend en leek ons een kleine moeite.

Le buffet de petit-déjeuner est uniquement indien.

Bien situé près du temple d'accès rapide et sans complication. Rue tres passagère mais ma chambre situé à l'arrière était tranquille. Restaurants nombreux aux alentours, 2 restaurants d'hôtels plus chics et en rooftop mais fermés en juin. Hotel en très bon état. Chambre assez petite mais bien agencée. Literie un peu usagée, salle de bain indienne donc facilement inondée. Personnel sympathique, bon accueil, possibilité d'excursion.

Petit déjeuner continental vraiment minimaliste comme bien des fois en Inde. Un effort pourrait être fait pour dépasser le thé en verre à coudre et le pain de mie brut.

Très bel hôtel. Notre chambre était moderne et agréable, avec tout le nécessaire compris. Personnel serviable! Super emplacement.

The parking space is very poor. I would not recommend this place if you’re traveling by car, especially an SUV. Additionally, the road leading to the property is very narrow.

The hotel is clean and hyginic. Staff at reception are excelent and provide every service the customer ask for. They had good space for car parking which was essential at this location.

The food arrangement was at near by property owned by them. They donot have their own dining facility. Rooms are little small comparing to the price in the region. They provide good breakfast in their own property.

Well-located hotel for the hustle and bustle of the town. Bedroom was beautifully designed.

Poor breakfast choice and service. No cold milk, no black tea, no sugar. TV channels didn’t work. No in-house restaurant for dinner and restaurant associated with hotel 70 m down the road was dirty and dingy.

La chambre est petite. Le petit-déjeuner est assez basique. Je n'ai pas du tout apprécié la pratique du gérant qui nous a commandé un taxi pour notre destination suivante, à savoir Kovalam. Il pleuvait tellement que nous n'avons pas cherché ailleurs pour discuter le prix, non seulement nous l'avons trouvé excessif pour l'Inde par rapport à nos autres trajets ( une centaine d'euros)mais au moment de partir, le gérant nous a dit de lui donner 40€ et de payer le reste au chauffeur. C'est une énorme commisson!

Just the proximity to station and temple is good. Much can be improved in the rooms, like curtain for the wet area in bathroom, flexible bed to make it joint, service was too late, we had to call reception many times. Please arrange room for keeping our luggage after check out. The space curtsy doesn’t feel safe

Nicely equipped and clean room, even if a bit smaller than I expected. Centrally located, within walking distance of Meenakshi Temple.

The area around is very busy, with lots of traffic on the streets - not pleasant to walk around. I like its South Indian breakfast, but there were too few options to chose from - no eggs, and no Western coffee.

Came as a group in a bus. Arrived 9.00pm. Not allowed to travel down the road to the front of the hotel.

This is a solid choice in Madurai. Good location, close to the railway station and with the main sights in walking distance. Room is equipped satisfactory.

Staff is friendly and clearly trying, just not very helpful. We had to ask multiple times for certain things until they were really provided (quite annoying to ask five times for a hair dryer and still have to go to reception desk in person to get it handed over eventually). When asking for tourist information, the answers are very brief, seemingly just trying to answer but not giving additional useful information that could make our stay better. Website is completely outdated, email address not existing anymore and no responses on Whatsapp. Without an Indian phone number being able to call, this is a hassle.

Nothing really.. they cancelled my reservation last minute a last minute on WhatsApp and then gave me a different property which was not good at all..

Last min cancellation and very unprofessional staff It’s like you book something but the money hungry hotel staff will ditch you last moment by overbooking the rooms..

Hotel Grand Sabarees, Madurai (Stayed one night with 3 families) Rooms were clean and well maintained, though not very spacious. Location is excellent and convenient for temple visits. Morning breakfast and parking facilities were good.

Staff were not very supportive; especially the lady receptionist was often in a quarrelsome mood. The owner should note that while the building is good and comfortable, staff behaviour and selection are equally important.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for our trip. Everything was well organized, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone visiting!

Hotel room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well maintained. the staff were very helpful. Very near to temple, railway station and many good eateries nearby. autos and cabs available freely.

The road outside the hotel (West Perumal Maistry Street) was nasty. Couldn't step on the road. We had to pay extra amount for checking out 45 minutes late which could have been waived. Only 5-6 cards can be parked in the hotel premises.

We did not take break fast in the hotel. But, we had break fast at their own restaurant nearby the hotel. It was very good.

Room is very small even for two people. It is not all suitable for three people. However, we paid extra for 3rd person and squeezed and managed to stay.
