Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya by IHG

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Shibuya, close to the public transportation, shopping area. We had a great room on the 28th floor, with a great view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful and professional.

The price was a bit high for our expectations. Regarding our room, the main issue was the limited space and storage, which was a little challenging for us staying several nights. More wardrobe space, shelves and hooks would have made the room more practical and comfortable.

Room was lovely with exceptional view of the city. The shower was the best shower I have experienced, ever! Centrally and conveniently located close to trains and shopping. The area is busy with tourists and restaurants.

We thought the split elevators were a nuisance, you had to take two elevators to get to your room. We were not impressed with the order we received via room service.

This location was phenomenal! Right next to the Shibuya crossing and great shopping area. Hotel is beautiful, the staff is really great.

A bit hard to find the first time when leaving the metro I wish somekne took care of my luggage when i arrived and also i had to order a uber because they couldnt get me a taxi for some reason when i left to the ariport but overall amazing experience

The hotel staff were rude to us. However I saw that they were really nice to Caucasian travelers, even offering them drinks at check in while we had none. We ordered a parcel whereby we have already prepaid for delivery. The hotel paid for our parcel delivery without telling us and demand that we pay at check out. When we tried to reason with them, we were out numbered by 3 hotel staff. The male hotel staff tried to stop us from leaving even after we paid the delivery fee, when he heard us say we are going to give a bad google review. He wouldn’t let us go and still tried to defend the hotel. We felt intimidated. For a hotel in Japan, this is quite a horrifying experience. If you see good google reviews, it is because it was a criteria for an hour extension of checkout time. The hotel staff asked me to fill up a good google review, show them in order to have a late check out. I am a IHG member and yet I had such a bad experience with them. Please be warned of this and think twice before booking this hotel.

Very clean and modern with very comfortable beds, breathable linen. The room was quiet with effective black out curtains making it a great jump off point for Shibuya. The breakfast was exceptional also.

The fact that I had made a reservation for three people, myself and my two daughters, and according to Booking my 15 year old daughter was classified as a child at this location, and despite having a confirmed reservation with this information the hotel tried to charge me more for my room and didn’t accommodate with a room for three people, but a room for two people..

La ubicación es perfecto. Especialmente si estás aterrizando en Tokio por primera vez... El desayuno es muy bueno y la gente que atiende en el restaurante es muy agradable.

Os funcionários são espetaculares . Todos falam inglês muito bem e estão sempre atentos e sorrindo . Minha filha esqueceu o Apple pen no quarto após o check out ; eles acharam, me ligaram (estávamos já no táxi a caminho do aeroporto e o taxista só falava japonês ) , falaram com o motorista para ele retornar e pegar a caneta . O café da manhã também é maravilhoso e a vista de Tokio é espetaculat.

The room style was very cool and the size was nice and spacious for Tokyo. I liked the view from my room and it was quiet, despite being in a very busy area. The staff were exceptional. I came during a typhoon so the rooftop was shut but I'm sure it would be lovely on a dry day!

It was very much in the thick of Shibuya. If you want to stay right within the bright lights, shopping and night life of Tokyo, then this is perfect!

Excelente Hotel, muy bien ubicado, buenas instalaciones, limpio, desayuno variado con equipo muy servicial en Gallery11, atentos, mención especial para Su que todos los días nos recibía con una gran sonrisa, en general todo el personal es muy atento, profesional y agradable, en recepción mencionó a Yuho quien nos atendió con calidez, amabilidad, nos resolvió las dudas, nos ayudó con las maletas, reserva del taxi, y lo super Top que además me habló algunas palabras en mi idioma, y para finalizar la gran ayuda, amabilidad, y tan profesional de Anh desde la recepción ya por la noche al retirar las maletas y tener que ajustar el peso, nos acompañó en todo el proceso hasta abordar el Taxi, recomiendo este hotel sobretodo porque te sientes acompañado! Gracias por todo !

The location was smack in the middle of everything. Shops, restaurants were all within walking distance. The breakfast was very nice. There were plenty of options and the coffee latte was very good.

I understand it's in Shibuya so the cost is high but I didn't think it's worth it. The rooms are small and I was expecting a spectacle view but the view wasn't that great. Overall, the hotel was clean but it didn't feel luxurious.

I like the overall look of the entire hotel, location, roof top, cafe, lobby, elevator.

El Hotel está muy bien, con un diseño muy cuidado y todo muy nuevo y limpio. Las vistas son espectaculares. Debajo del Hotel hay una especie de pequeño centro comercial donde hay varias cafeterías ideales para desayunar. Y lo más importante es que está en pleno centro de Shibuya a unos pocos pasos de Shibuya Crossing, todo alrededor lleno de restaurantes, tiendas y diversión. La ubicación es inmejorable.

Lo único, por lo que no le pongo un 10 es porque la habitación nos pareció un poco pequeña para un Hotel de esa categoría, aunque la verdad es que ahora que estoy escribiendo esto desde el Hotel de Kioto, este sí que es realmente pequeño, así que creo que en Japón todas las habitaciones de Hotel tienen un tamaño reducido.

Personally I wish the gym was larger with another bench and free weights to at least 50lbs. A pull-up bar would also be another good feature that could be added.

ארוחת בוקר נחמדה, מבחר של דברים לאכול ואפשרות להזמנה אישית לפי תפריט. מיקום מרכזי קרוב להכל ונגיש מאד. צוות מקסים ושירות מצוין של כל צוות המלון. יש מרפסת גג בקומה 11 שכיף לשבת בה ולהזמין אוכל ושתיה.

החדרים די קטנים ואין מקום למזוודות. בסמוך למלון בונים בניין חדש ושומעים משם רעש כי עובדים גם בלילה, אנחנו הפעלנו את פילטר נקיון האוויר על רמה בינונית וזה עושה רעש שמפצה על הרעש מהבניה.

The location was very central for Shibuya so good for shopping and lots of bars. Hotel also had a nice 'rooftop' terrace / beer garden.

The room was microscopic. The only place to lay out a full sized suitcase was in the hallway between the bathroom and the door, which means it's constantly in the way. That would've been annoying if it was only 1 traveller, but we were 2, so the room felt very claustrophobic. Extremely expensive for food and drink as well, I think we paid almost 7k yen for 4 beers and a bowl of hot chips. They add a service charge to everything, including the buffet breakfast.

Early check in is a problem.

Great location close to everything and they offered a very delicious breakfast. Nice view from our room as well and it was very spacious.

Definitely a western hotel, so it's missing Japan-style amenities like pajamas, skin care (beyond body wash, shampoo, conditioner), and a super deep bathtub. For the price and other Indigos I've stayed in, I was a little disappointed.

What I loved most was the fantastic location and the beautiful view from the 17th floor. Waking up every morning and enjoying that view was truly special.

What I liked the least was the lack of service and hospitality. The staff were friendly, but communication in English was often difficult, and several employees seemed unable to provide useful information or answer basic questions. There was very little engagement or initiative to help guests. There is no real concierge service, and at times the experience felt more like staying in an Airbnb than in a hotel. For a property with such a great location and beautiful views, that was disappointing. Another downside was the breakfast. During our eight-night stay, the menu never changed, which became repetitive and lacked the variety you would expect from a hotel catering to longer stays. The Harbor Terrace has an excellent location and stunning views from the 17th floor, but there is significant room for improvement when it comes to service, guest assistance, and dining variety.

Truly one of the highlights of our 3 week Japan trip. From the moment we arrived, everyone on staff went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Staff was warm, attentive, and thoughtful, and it was clear that the team takes great pride in creating a special experience for their guests. We were celebrating my birthday and received heartwarming birthday wishes and decoration in our room which was such a lovely gesture. The hotel itself was beautifully designed — clean, modern, and stylish, while still incorporating an upbeat Japanese touch that gave it so much character and charm. Every detail felt carefully considered, from the elegant atmosphere to the high-quality amenities provided in the room. Even the lovely scent of the bath and shower products stood out and added to the feeling of comfort and relaxation throughout our stay. What made this hotel exceptional was not only the beautiful space, but the people behind it. The staff’s kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel at home from beginning to end. A very memorable hotel experience and would absolutely come back again.

Really great hotel ideally lcoated in Shibuya. Close to all the madness but far enough away that you can get some proper rest. The room was amazing and the view from the top floor spectacular. Would recommend expliring Dogenzaka behind the hotel, gritty and interesting! Front desk staff are amazing, especially Rei who repeatedly went above and beyond for us during our stay

Would still highly recommend this hotel but; Rooms are small, but its Tokyo. Theres also quite a lot of furniture in there that takes up valuable floor space Breakfast at times felt like the service team were under pressure but no big deal. Shower and bath facilites felt dated and like an afterthought compared to thoughtfully designed rooms.

Fantastic location. I can highly recommend it! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the room was lovely and comfortable. Overall, it was a really great experience, and I will definitely come back.

The only downside was that the wine, both in the restaurant and on the terrace, was served in plastic glasses, which was not something I expected from such a nice hotel
