Location and convenience to train station

Very basic facilities. Poor comfort. Can only accommodate one carry on suitcase in the room yet the price you pay is extremely high. Breakfast options are so poor and quality of food is very very basic.

Create location and great property, you can’t beat the convenience.

Hard to locate the hotel at first because we couldn’t see the hotel name outside of the building. We didn’t know the hotel is in the Mark City. The taxi driver wouldn’t know he can drop off us on the same floor where we check in for the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly, helpful, and professional staff who made us feel very welcome. The location is absolutely prime—right in the heart of Shibuya and just steps away from Shibuya Station, the famous Hachiko Statue, and Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Everything was so convenient, making it incredibly easy to explore Tokyo and get around by train. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with lovely large windows offering an incredible top view of the city. Waking up and looking out over the Tokyo skyline and the lively streets of Shibuya was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. 🌃✨ The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and an unbeatable location made our stay truly enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu to anyone visiting Tokyo, especially if you want to be right in the centre of Shibuya with amazing city views. 🇯🇵❤️

un hotel que cumplió con las expectativas, las habitaciones están bien de tamaño, la ubicación es excelente, el desayuno buenísimo, buffet de desayuno continental y japonés, puedes estar desayunando viendo el famoso cruce, desde las habitaciones, por lo menos la nuestra, se ve un poco el cruce, pero aunque no se vea, las vistas merecen la pena. Las habitaciones están insonorizadas, las camas son muy cómodas. Parada de metro, autobuses todo esta al lado. Sin duda volvería a repetir.

The property enjoys a prime location, conveniently near shops, dining options, and public transit.The hotel staff are all friendly and accommodating. I asked for a room with a Shibuya Crossing view, and they granted my request. I would certainly choose to stay here again.

Breakfast was satisfying but offered only a few options. There were hammer‑like noises, even during the night, and we couldn’t determine their source.

Svegliarsi nel pieno di una delle zone più incredibili di Tokyo è stato davvero speciale. Uno degli hotel più belli del nostro viaggio in Giappone. Ci tornerei ad occhi chiusi!

The hotel was centrally located to everything! This was home base for a few days until we transferred to our next location. Train lines, buses, stores and the Shibuya crossing is right there. From our room we had prime view of the crossing, so no need to buy tickets for the Shibuya sky. There was one elevator that gave you prime view of it. Hotel was extremely clean and beautiful. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They spoke English so that was a plus. In the morning they had a luggage transfer company in the lobby in case you wanted to have your suitcases transferred to another hotel without the hassle on the trains.

Posizione eccellente, proprio sopra la stazione di Shibuya. Camera non grandissima, ma decisamente sopra la media, con ottima vista su Shibuya. Molto comoda la rampa dedicata a taxi e bus che conduce sino all'ingresso dell'hotel al terzo piano - utilissima se dovete chiamare Uber/Taxi o se dovete usufruire del servizio Limousine Shuttle Bus per gli aeroporti di Tokyo.

Great location, you can see the Shibuya crossing from the hotel lifts! Shops and trains/metro in the mall beneath the hotel, really easy to get around the city but locally so many shops and restaurants above and underground a few mins walk from the hotel. The room was quiet and spacious, nice city view. Hotel dealt with our pre-arrival queries promptly, great stay!

Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein und mit 2 Koffern drin kann man sich fast nicht bewegen.

L'hôtel a un emplacement exceptionnel sur Shibuya. Il donne sur le croisement de Shibuya, on est à 20 mètres de l'arrêt de bus pour rejoindre les aéroports. Et ce qui a été super appréciable, c'est qu'il y a eu un problème de réservation pour mes enfants. Et plutôt que d'appliquer leurs règles qui auraient fait exploser le budget, ils se sont adaptés et on a eu le droit à une remise exceptionnelle parce qu'ils ont compris la situation. Et toujours très agréable, disponible, super hôtel.

Honnêtement, on a eu un super séjour. Je ne sais pas quoi leur dire à améliorer. Non, au contraire. Puissent-ils maintenir cette qualité de service aussi longtemps que possible ?

We really enjoyed the central location of the hotel! Right above the train station and mall, it was very easy to get around. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast had a ton of variety.

Direkt bei der Shibuya Crossing dadurch eine tolle Anbindung. Das Hotelzimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wenn man mit der Bahn unterwegs ist, gibt es fast keine bessere Lage da das Hotel sich über dem Bahnhof Shibuya befindet. Es gibt auch am TV Youtube und Netflix aber für Netflix muss man eine Gebühr bezahlen Youtube dagegen ist frei.

The location is busy but convenient, the hotel was super clean, the staff was friendly, the room was spacious.

The breakfast buffet did not have a lot of variety for such a big hotel, I think they could do better.

The location was exceptional.

The hotel was nice but the facilities were limited. There was no gym or pool area. However acknowledging gyms and pools may not be common in Japanese hotels.

Great location, but hard to navigate at first. Once you figure out where to exit the Metro you can be here in no time.

One of my rooms was not ready when I checked in at 16:00. And the rooftop restaurant is CLOSED for renovations They never told us that.

I have a lot to say about this property the first thing being that it’s in a great location and it’s in a great part of Tokyo, but at the same time I’m gonna say this many times during this review do not under any circumstances use their washer and dryers they are the worst washer and dryers you will ever encounter. I promise you all of your stuff will not be clean. It will be damp. It will be damp. Did I mention that it will be damp? I cannot stress enough how damp my stuff still is because of their terrible washer and dryer

I hate their washer and dryer so much that it almost ruined our entire trip. Truly, I cannot stress enough how terrible the washer and dryer is the dryer does not dry. You may as well just keep putting in ¥200 every 30 minutes to have your clothes, just cycle around and not be dry. Everything you own will be damp. I promise you. Also they for some reason it seems like a green initiative. They don’t allow the AC unit to be ran while you’re not in the room which is odd so everything becomes stamped because nothing dries ever.

We loved our stay here! The location couldn’t have been better — right in Shibuya and so convenient for getting around Tokyo. Having the station right there made travelling so easy, and there were endless shops, restaurants and things to do. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. We got an amazing view of Shibuya crossing from our room also. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The location is exceptional, with Shibuya Scramble Crossing essentially outside the hotel and views directly over it from parts of the building. Staying here provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the energy of Shibuya, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night, with extensive shopping nearby and Yoyogi Park within comfortable walking distance. The airport limousine buses departing directly from the hotel complex are also extremely convenient.

The hotel was relatively expensive, although much of the premium is understandable given its exceptional location. Because it is integrated into the large Shibuya Mark City complex, the entrance can also be surprisingly difficult to find when first arriving — even taxi drivers may need some assistance locating it.

If you want to experience Shibuya Scramble this is an excellent Hotel. Connected to the underground including JR trains and a dedicated bus leaves from the Hotel to Haneda

The breakfast and perhaps a little over priced but don’t let that put you off booking.

The location was the best we could have ever asked for, right in the middle of Shibuya, with several JR train and metro lines at walking distance. Multiple main venues and restaurants/shops/combini close-by. The views of the Shibuya crossing from one of the four elevators were amazing, as well as the views from the elevator hallways and the views from our room to the crossing and skyline. Moreover, all the staff were really nice and the reception desk was always available and without queue.

Breakfast was short on sweet pastries, but overall have many options.
