Fijne bed, ruime kamer, lekker eten.

Hotel is worth every single penny. The facilities, the staff, the food and the room's size &, view - simply unbeatable in that area of Kagoshima. Reaching the hotel with train or bus is an option but a bit of a drag, however, the hotel operates a shuttle to and from Kagoshima station - so make sure to inquire about it if needed. There's also a parking lot (reasonably priced) behind the hotel. All in all, amazing hotel.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. Staff service was excellent.

the hotel is excellently located directly facing Sakurajima Volcano. Watching Japan's most active vocano every morning from my room was surprisingly calming. Everyday was a different scene. Evening drinks at the cocktail lounge at the top of the hotel whilst watching the volcano was stunning. Don't be put off by the restaurant name as the food is superb.

Spa, massage and facial was very disappointing, and could have been much better. This was a birthday treat and was a let down.

Tout était de très bon niveau : l'accueil, le professionnalisme du personnel, la qualité et la grande variété du petit-déjeuner, le confort global de la chambre, l'architecture et le design de l'hôtel.

部屋から望む桜島は圧巻でした！部屋も洗練されたインテリアで私好みでしたし、浴槽が無い分広々とした部屋でした。あと、温泉もとても気持ち良く、夜×2、朝×1と計三回入湯しました。欲を言えば、露天風呂から桜島が見えたら最高だろうなと思いました。朝食も申し分ない内容とサービスでした。

EV車の充電設備が無かったことが残念でした。 朝食の際、オムレツを提供してる真上の棚板やサイドの飾り棚の埃が気になりました。多分、身長の高い方じゃないと気にならないかもしれませんが、朝日が差し込み余計に私には目立って見えました。高い位置の清掃にも気を使われることを望みます。

This hotel is special! We were amazed at the views from our room! Our rooms were spacious and beautiful. The onsen was luxurious. Breakfast was delicious and had so much variety! The customer service was excellent and we appreciated all the help provided by concierge. We loved Kagoshima and wished we stayed more than two nights!

The hotel didn't want you to wear the provided pajamas to the onsen which is different than any other hotel we visited in Japan.

思い当たらないが値段がほかのホテルより高額なのでサービスは良くないといけないのかなと思います。

酒店好舒服、好安靜，又有shuttle 去到鹿兒島中央車站，都算方便嘅，但其實行去都唔係好遠，大概10 零分鐘路程，酒店隔離有間大型超級市場，斜對面有間平價超級市場同便利店，附近又有一間廿四小時嘅自助洗衫舖，非常方便。 酒店設施非常好，溫泉舒服，同埋有得額外浸腳非常之好，而且間房夠大，比喺其他日本酒店嚟講係非常之大。 員工服務親切同體貼，我去完屋久島買咗啲熱情果返嚟酒店，跟住問佢哋借餐刀去切啲熱情果，佢哋會記住，唔會喺每一日執房嘅時候收走咗把餐刀，仲會同我洗乾淨擺返好，呢啲細節位要讚，清潔完我間房之後仲會幫手開埋空氣清新機。 酒店間居酒屋啲嘢好食，服務員非常親切，主廚雖然唔識英文，但都好主動同我交流，教我點樣食，同埋啲嘢食真係唔貴，可以舒舒服服咁就可以食晒鹿兒島嘅特色美食，佢嘅豬肉火鍋、燒鰻魚等都好食，佢哋嘅燒物係好出色。 早餐就正正常常酒店早餐，無驚喜，但都會有鹿兒島嘅特色嘢食，例如雞飯、魚餅、櫻島橘子烏冬，同埋有雪糕。

宿泊する前に宮崎のマンゴーを買っていき切ってもらうことが可能かきいたところ、快く許可してくださりました。かつ、ホテル側からお電話いただければその時間に持っていきますとの事でした。無理なお願いなはずなのにとても嬉しかったです！ そして、チェックアウトが12時との事だったので、朝食後もゆっくり過ごせて良かったです！

For a luxury stay in Kagoshima, Sheraton is the destination. Very good staff, excellent breakfast, 5 star amenities. This is a great choice for a short trip to beautiful Kagoshima. Food bath is a great property. And the view to the Sakurajima ... Just breathtaking. Make the extra booking, and choose the Sakurajima.view room. You will not regret.

It would be better to have hotel outfit to the onsen. However this is not a show stopper.

Auch unser zweiter Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das geräumige helle Zimmer hatte den gewünschten Ausblick 🤓❣️ Frühstück war im Angebot außergewöhnlich gut. Verschiedene warme Speisen, sowie verschiedene Salate und leckerer Sushi 🍣 wurden Angeboten. Auch dieses mal hatten wir das „Daily Social“ Buffet gebucht. Ab 18 Uhr ist das absolut empfehlenswert. Wir sind noch einmal im Hotel und werden es wieder nutzen. Informiere dich über das Angebot mit den Getränken. Es gibt drei Möglichkeiten. Wir hatten das mittlere Angebot (ich glaube es hieß Gold oder so ähnlich) Getränke - Wein, Bier, …inklusive.

Bitte rechnet etwas Zeit beim Frühstück ein. Wir waren 8 Uhr da und es waren ca. 12 Personen vor uns, die auch einen Tisch im Restaurant haben wollten. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen aber die Straßenbahn hält genau vor dem Hotel.

We were so glad we chose this hotel for our visit to the quieter southern part of Japan. We booked it via Luxury Travel Diary as we've always had exceptional hotels via this company. But this one was super-exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not do enough for us. And the view from the room was stunning! Do choose one with a view of Sakurujima if you can - you will never tire of that view! The hotel offered a very comfortable shuttle bus from the railway station so arriving after a wonderful Shinkansen train ride was a breeze. It's close to the ferry terminal to the island - local tram from directly outside the hotel or a short taxi ride. Again, the lady at the travel desk in reception area was just so helpful with everything. The hotel has it's own hot springs/onsen and it is just so perfect to relax there after a busy day visiting the area. The only problem with this booking was that we didn't book for long enough! We would stay longer next time as this was such a perfect oasis to return to after visiting what is a wonderful area of Japan - so uncrowded and different from the big cities.

Excellent location and amazing views over Sakurajima. Tram stop in front of hotel takes you everywhere you want to go. Clean. Nice onsen and fitness room. Good breakfast.

Sometimes breakfast can be a bit full and you’ll have to wait a bit before you can dine. Depends on if there’s a tour group at the hotel as they eat at the same time.

とても綺麗であり、スタッフもみなフレンドリーであり、快適に過ごせます。なんといっても静かで清潔。また、隣の部屋の生活音がきこえるようなことはありませんでした。快適なベッドでゆっくりと眠れました。

個人的には、ロケーションはやや不便かもしれません。また、部屋にシャワーしかないのが残念でした。

Beautiful and well designed room with spectacular view. Extremely good breakfast- buffet style with wide variety and generous amounts. Helpful and polite staff. Convenient parking a short distance away. Shout out to the person who recommended the coin laundry behind Family Mart across the road- was very convenient !!

Rooms were very generous, great views of the volcano. Beds were quite comfortable. Onsen was great for a hotel option. Good value for money. Concierge services were stand out, helped out with restaurant bookings with care and promptness. Vivarium bar was amazing for sunset drinks.

Decor a little dusty, shower smelled a bit musty. The in house restaurants couldn't accomodate a booking, unfortunate, but not the end of the world. Pillows weren't great - puffed down to nothing. The shuttle buses start too late. Not that easy to use the blinds (cords) to pull up the blinds. Would be great to have that mechanised.

母と一緒行く予定でしたが年末亡くなり 今回1人で宿泊しました コメントで母も楽しみにしておりました記載したところ部屋にメッセージとクッキーが入ってました お部屋も桜島ビュー(リクエスト)でよかったです 母がいたら喜んだと思います 足湯もあってリラックスできました

朝食会場のスタッフの対応で朝食込みプランなのにレストラン出る際サインを求められた 名前は私の名前を呼ばれたが全く違う部屋番号伝えられた レストラン会場も人で不足で対応もできないんでしょう 宿泊の部屋番号伝えて間違いとわかったが、びっくりしました ホテルから鹿児島中央バスターミナルの送迎あるが 始発が10時からもう少し早い時間から出ていると良いなあと思いました

We were delighted with this choice of hotel. Our club level bedroom was really large, with the most stunning view of Sakurajima. Beautiful bathroom space and fittings, with elegant dividing sliding walls. Generous storage spaces, and a huge bed with crisp linens. The club lounge is fantastic, with wraparound views and excellent food and drink offerings. A lovely experience

Pros: - beautiful new hotel with amazing views of the volcano - good onsen facilities (hot and cold baths, communal area has a foot bath) - the Flying Hog dinner course (Flame) was INCREDIBLE, better than 3 Michelin Star restaurants I have been to. Such a fantastic restaurant with a talented chef! Problems: - The hotel location is very bad. It is basically not worth it to stay here just for the terrible location. It requires a taxi drive either to the shinkansen station or the main downtown area. Meanwhile the downtown area has plenty of cheap quality hotels. As much as this is a nice modern hotel, it's not worth it for the awful location if you want to see the town. - DO NOT BOOK THE CLUB ROOM ON WEEKDAYS - they don't tell you, but the Club Lounge only serves breakfast on the weekends. So you pay extra for the Club level room to avoid the breakfast buffet fiasco on the ground floor, and then you still have to eat at the ground floor breakfast buffet which is super crowded and have to wait for a table. - The rooms do not have bathtubs. That is super weird and rare in Japan. Even like $40 a night business hotels have personal bathtubs in each room. Feel like Sheraton western private equity executives who don't understand Japan making decisions. - You don't get a yukata in your room to wear to the onsen. Again this is very common even at very cheap Japan hotels. Stupid. - They train the staff to tell you this dumb speech at check-in about how you can't wear your slippers around the hotel or something. Ok then, give us proper slippers of some kind. Our cheaper hotel in Kyoto did that.

Très bon séjour . L’hôtel est magnifique les chambres très confortables la vue sur le volcan à tomber ! Personnel adorable. La shuttke pour la gare toutes les 30 minutes vraiment pratique.

此趟是蜜月旅行 很感謝喜來登的服務❤️ 從入住到退房都超級喜歡！ 特地選看得到櫻島火山的房間 晚上跟白天不同樣貌 很壯觀很漂亮 飯店也有泡湯的，不習慣裸湯的人，有單純泡腳的地方也很舒服❤️ 早上選擇日式居多，但種類很多！！不用擔心吃不習慣 謝謝給我們這麼美好的回憶🥰

5 star service. I booked a Sakurajima view room but I wasn’t expecting a corner room. Probably it was to compensate for the not so impressive view of Sakurajima as it was just on the 7th floor. But I think they’d transfer me to a higher floor if I had requested. They also assisted in the delivery of my luggage to my accommodation (in Hita onsen) 2 days after. It was surprisingly cheap. I was expecting around 3000 yen. But it was just a little over 1300 yen.

La vue magnifique sur le Sakurajima depuis notre chambre . Le restaurant au dernier étage où nous avons pris un de leur menu qui était extrêmement délicieux. Les pâtisseries au lobby, la gentillesse du personnel. Un des meilleurs hôtels que nous ayons fait au Japon .

Un petit bémol pour le manque de sucré au petit déjeuner mais je ne leur en tiens pas rigueur je suis au Japon, leur plat varié étaient excellent.

Great location

We booked a club twin room. Wanted to upgrade prior to arrival but hotel was fully booked out. Room has lovely view but a small standard room and the blinds black out was broken, we've to improvised and used cable tie. Is the first 5 star hotel after staying here in Japan for 17 days that they do not provide bathrobe. Also the first one that doesn't have a coffee machine in the room. Gym is 24hrs, have good dumbbells but limited machines. No swimming pool but a nice touch it has an onsen which is nicely layout. Club floor is a hit and miss. Happy hour 430-7pm served mainly fried food. Alcohol selection the white wine is drinkable but sparkling wine is not great. Breakfast can only be on the club floor else we’ve to pay 4,000 Yen per pax in the main dining area. Breakfast at 8:30am is a complete zoo. They are under-staffed despite the hotel knows is fully booked out. No cups, have to use paper cups for coffee or tea. Several empty tables not cleared we’ve to clear for them. Breakfast at club floor has eggs made to order but it seems this is only open on Sunday. I didn’t see it on Saturday. Location wise is not great. You need to walk ~ 1.7km to the main interesting area. However it has a rather big supermarket just beside the hotel. Staff are all very smiley and helpful despite the chaos. If I come back to Kagoshima, I’ll stay at the main shopping area.

Gut, das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. …man muss beim Frühstücken zu den Stoßzeiten warten. Das sollte man in der Zeitplanung mit einrechnen.

Frühstück mit großer Auswahl japanischer und westlicher Speisen. Die Servicekraefte sind sehr zuvorkommend und erledigen prompt die gestellten Aufgaben.. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer auf den Vulkan ist toll, man kann von dort aus beobachten.

Lovely club room with spectacular view of the Sakurajima Volcano! Room had great storage, amazing shower, and very clean. Loved the comfortable Japanese PJs provided. Only hiccup was the arrival pick up at the Kagoshima Airport which the hotel addressed. Food was good but pretty repetitive. Concierge staff was outstanding. Very helpful with suggestions for shopping and restaurants.
