Everything! The room was huge and private onsen was amazing. General facility was beautiful and well designed.

Struttura curatissima negli arredi e nei servizi. La cena fusion di ottima qualità con influenze italiane non ci è dispiaciuta affatto, dopo due settimane di solo cibo giapponese… La colazione molto varia, a buffet, anche questa di ottima qualità. Onsen molto bello così come la piscina coperta e il giardino. Le foto non rendono la bellezza del posto.

Everything was perfect. Dinner was amazing even the vegetarian menu made specially for us. We chose a room with a private Onsen and that was the highlight of our trip. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. We had an amazing stay and definitely we want to come back in our next trip to Japan 🥰

The property was really relaxing and quiet, which made it a very refreshing spa-like retreat. There was a lot of natural green landscape, and the building was in general very accessible and facilities were all nearby. The onsen was very nice and private, and the thermal pool with sauna and outdoor cold bath was also very enjoyable. The unlimited drinks bar was also very nice to use with the complementary water bottles.

The beds were slightly small for a size of 4 people, as each mattress was not large enough for two people to sleep comfortably side by side.

Stunning hotel! Most amazing room on our entire trip! Beautiful pool and separate onsen. Lounge gor the guests with huge selection of teas, coffee, etc to try.

We found the breakfast was not as good as we had hoped and very little for kids, especially fussy ones. We had the dinner and it was lovely but very pricey. Location amazing for peace and quiet but you will need to taxi as the hotel shuttle runs only for a few hours a day

朝食が充分美味しかったのですが、今回は3度目の宿泊で、1、2度目はハーフブッフェで提供されましたが、今回は全てブッフェになり 以前の朝食で、ポタージュやシーセージ、トマトのジャムなどが特に印象的でしたので全てブッフェでも提供があればなお嬉しかったです

What an amazing hotel. The rooms are quite simply exceptional. The hotel amenities are fabulous, the onsen and pool were fantastic. One of the best hotels we have stayed in, we are so glad to have found it, highly recommend.

Make sure to organise a shuttle as it’s a very long and steep walk

The room is stunning, modern, beautiful. The semi-open air private onsen for the room was bliss. Free drinks, a great variety for breakfast, and wonderful staff made this stay a true delight and luxury. I will be staying here every time I come to Japan.

Wir haben den Onsen auf dem Balkon gehabt und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück war lecker und umfangreich. Die Zimmer waren schick eingerichtet mit Schlafanzügen ausgestattet. Es gab für jeden Gast eine Flasche, die man sich in der Lobby kostenlos auffüllen konnte und dann auch mir nachhause nehmen konnte. ein tolles Andenken!

Leider ein durchaus teures vergnügen, weshalb wir uns nur eine Nacht haben gönnen können. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen, wenn man es sich leisten könnte. Man bekommt allerdings auch definitiv, für was man bezahlt. Das Hotel ist sehr weit ab vom Schuss, zu Fuß vom Bahnhof aus ist das meiner Meinung anch nicht schaffbar mit Koffern. Tipp: UNBEDINGT einen Platz im Shuttle reservieren!!

The location was the best, despite the rain it was a lovely location, would return!

Not that I didn’t like but to get there can be a huddle if not planned well. Either get a taxi from Odawara station or take the bus from odawara to the hotel it will take 52 minutes depending on traffic. There’s a shuttle from and to Gora station to the hotel it has limited seats.

It was very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsen and pools facilities were excellent and relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and the complimentary drinks throughout the day/night. Overall, a wonderful experience.

It was a short distance outside of town, but that is part of the charm.

Property is very beautiful and peaceful. Everything was very clean and pristine. The onsen and pool area is gorgeous and the outdoor area overlooking the mountain is stunning. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable.

I wasn’t surprised that with tattoos I couldn’t use the public spa but the good thing is you can book a room with your private onsen

More frequent shuttle services/being more aware of needing to book these in advance - we walked from the town and would not recommend doing this in the dark !

The hotel kindly took us to Gora Train Station early as there were no Taxi’s available in the Immediate Hakone area to take us to Odawara Train Station at 09.00. So book well in advance if even possible?

The location is beautiful, away from everything else. Hotel is contemporary and very well looked after. The Onsen and staff were excellent.

Fantatsisches Essen (hatten Halbpension), sehr schönes Hotel, hatten einen private Onsen, somit den öffentlichen Bereich nicht genutzt. Sehr nettes Personal, fantastische Betten. Vom Hotel aus kann man direkt wandern gehen. Perfekt für ein paar Tage Ruhe und Natur.

The breakfast was vaired and satisfactory. The 24 hr bar was convenient. The onsen was to our expectations. The front desk was helpful with Uber and accommodating when we arrived a day earlier than our booking.

We were disappointed the restaurant couldn't serve us without a reservation given our wrong day of arrival.

I think this is the nicest hotel we have ever been to. The room is a nice size after coming from a small room in Tokyo. Everything is perfect from the linen, pajamas, onsen wrap, free flow of serve yourself matcha latte, coffee , tea, hot chocolate or whatever takes your fancy. The pool is a beautiful space. The onsen is divine. The facilities top class. A must is the dinner as the food is the best we have had in a restaurant in a long time, and we dine out in Sydney every week. The staff, especially in the restaurant are so wonderful and attentive. Watanabe must be the most jolly man recommending wine to complement our meal. When we expressed compliments to the chef, both Nishiyama and Ozawa immediately came out to thank us. So humble. The only mention is that we had hired a car from the station at Odawara from Toyota. A seamless experience and highly recommend as you would not get to as many sights as we did using the buses. Plus so reasonably priced. Just need an international license. All insurance and toll card is included with Toyota, unlike other companies. Just pay for the tolls you used when you return. We did see magnificent Fujisan , but quickly drove to better locations depending on the wind direction of the clouds. The speed limit is mostly 40km/hr so easy driving.

There is nothing to not like.

The sorroundings are superb, silence and fresh air, we loved it. The onsite ONSEN was wonderful!!!

The price of the stay is a bit expensive :) but it is totally worth it. Nothing to complain.

We had a wonderful 4 days 3 nights stay and left feeling genuinely impressed. The staff were incredibly professional and hospitable throughout our visit. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Having a private onsen was one of the highlights of our stay. All of the hotel facilities were clean and very well maintained. Breakfast became something we looked forward to each morning because it was so good.

There was one issue during our stay where we were surrounded by a very loud family. They had many kids, screaming and running around the halls for several hours without any supervision. We could hear them stomping, screaming, and banging the walls. This family had their hotel room wide open, speaking very loudly, and cooking something smelly in their room. When we asked to close their doors because we can hear them loudly, they rudely obliged. Another thing we noticed was them leaving their shoes out in the hallway, which I'm sure also had to be remediated by the staff. Eventually, once we brought it to the staff’s attention, they handled the situation professionally and resolved it without escalation. Though this family's lack of common sense and manners disturbed us for a while, it does not take away from the excellent experience that the staff and facilities provided.

As comodidades do hotel são excelentes, assim como a amabilidade e o profissionalismo dos funcionários. A decoração é muito elegante e acolhedora, criando um ambiente agradável durante toda a estadia. O restaurante, tanto no pequeno-almoço como no jantar, foi excelente, com refeições de grande qualidade e muito bem apresentadas. Os funcionários foram extremamente prestáveis com a minha bebé, demonstrando sempre atenção, cuidado e simpatia. Nota-se um grande rigor e dedicação no serviço prestado. No final, fizeram até a tradicional vénia japonesa, um gesto de respeito e cortesia que não vi noutros hotéis onde fiquei alojada no Japão, o que tornou a experiência ainda mais especial.

O único ponto menos positivo foi a lavandaria do hotel. Como havia apenas duas máquinas disponíveis, foi praticamente impossível conseguir utilizá-las, pois estavam quase sempre ocupadas. No entanto, esta situação não é propriamente culpa do hotel, mas sim da elevada procura por parte dos hóspedes.

Beautiful facility with lots of attention to details. Loved the indoor swimming pool and room was fabulous.

Food options were limited. The dinner needs to be prebooked the night before, by 5pm and was pricey for what it was. First night we were put in some kind of extra room that lacked any ambience and was very disappointing given what we paid, second night in the actual dining room. Given that it’s fairly remote that can be an issue and there are no other restaurants or shops in walking distance and no options for lunch if you decide to stay in. But apart from that it was fabulous and we would definitely come again.
