The location is perfect
Everything was great!!! We especially loved the chocolate chip cookies they serve on the first floor :D
The minibar menu (with the prices) was placed way too far back, so we didn’t get to see the prices before opening the cookies :’(
1- Stayed here with my family over the summer, and this was hands-down the best hotel experience we've had across years of travel. 2- Staff & Service: Every single team member went above and beyond — attentive, warm, and genuinely present rather than just going through the motions (specially Nilar from guest services and Ashley) 3- Cleanliness: Impeccable throughout the stay, from the room to the public spaces — never a detail out of place. 4- Location: Unbeatable base in Ginza, putting us within easy reach of everything we wanted to see and do in Tokyo. 5- Overall: A truly fantastic stay from start to finish — highly recommend for families and anyone looking for a five-star experience in Tokyo
1- the gym could be better done it seems not much thought was put into it but again this is a minor comment
The blackout curtains weren’t really blackout, the sunrays still seep in and it disrupted sleep.
One of the most attentive and welcoming hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. I visited for my birthday, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it memorable, surprising me with balloons and a beautiful dessert delivered to my room. The location is great, just a short walk from restaurants, cafés, and shopping. Despite being so central, the room was quiet, with no outside noise, making for a very comfortable stay. Another highlight was the 24-hour room service, which was especially convenient since many restaurants in Japan close relatively early. I’m looking forward to visiting back soon !!

Top top the best
Everything was perfect and staff was great
Very nice hotel! The rooms are spacious and very well planned - there is enough space for suitcases, for storing clothes, a nice sofa near the window to relax. The staff was also very attentive and helped us with every need. Additional star for the breakfast - it is an exceptionally good western breakfast with a lot of fruits available and a la carte menu with a very good selection of breakfast options.
I would say bathroom was a bit small and not as impressive for the hotel scale - and especially for its price! In general there is a strong feeling that it is overpriced, despite al the good staff and very central location.
Konumu ve odaları çok güzeldi. Çalışanlar ilgili ve güleryüzlü idi. Oda servisi başarılı idi.
Kahvaltı menüsü kısıtlı idi. Sophie restoranda yediğimiz akşam yemeği başarısızdı.
Geweldige service. Prachtig hotel, goede locatie.
Service and atmosphere
Nothing
The staff was wonderful, extremely helpful and attentive. We have very high standards and could not fault anything in all honesty
Great location and good sized room.
Douchey people in the bar and restaurant. All the furniture in the room was super uncomfortable and was impossible to sit and read or relax. The bar was awful. It’s a hyped up bar with weird instagram people and packed with screaming 20 year olds. This is not a place to enjoy a well made cocktail and have a conversation. The wait staff struggled to understand drinks like a martini or vesper. The hotel offered no other spaces to enjoy a relaxed elegant evening. Would not stay again.

Loved everything about it!
Convenient location, excellent service, and great facilities.
Just hoping for a treadmill in fitness area. Too many ellipticals
The service was impeccable. Top notch! One of the best hotel experience I had. The level of thoughfulness and kindness was unmatched. I was there for the marathon, they found out about it, gave me a pre-race kit with energy drink, isotonic drink, granola bar and a really nice motivational message. Post-race they sent a chocolate medal to my room. Kudos to the entire hotel staff. Breakfast was fantastic, excellent menu and buffet. The service level at breakfast was also great.
Nothing!
Location, beautiful rooms, and amazing team super friendly and helpful.
Excellent rooms and service.
I was missing a Spa within the hotel
This is a very contemporary and chic hotel with a wonderful staff. We especially enjoyed the hotel’s Punch Bar—we ended up going back twice during our short stay. We also loved the cheerful breakfast area on the top floor. The concierge was extremely helpful and made some great reservations for us ahead of time.
Nothing. Perfect stay.
Отличное расположение.
Clean and spacious room. The staff has very high attention to details. Location is within Ginza and near the metro station. One of the best hotels that I stayed in.
Nothing!
Location
The gym is extremely small and without proper machines.
Location was excellent, but what stood out the most was the service offered by the team of concierges, the receptionists, the manager and the waiters. All were most helpful, friendly and courteous. Also, the room was well designed and spacious for a Ginza hotel. Would definitely return.
We were disappointed with the architecture which was designed by Kengo Kuma, one of the most renowned Japanese architect. From the outside, the building looks very generic.
Staff were exceptionally attentive
A localização , a atenção dos funcionários, a limpeza
J'ai bien apprécié la variété au petit déjeuner et le soin du personnel tout au long de notre séjour.
Le prix est excessivement élevé par rapport à l'hôtel et ses équipements.
Loved the location, staff were so accommodating and kind. Food was great and the rooms were quiet large for Tokyo. Very clean as well
Convenient and clean
Quartos extremamente limpos e confortáveis, staff e concierge cordiais, muito bem localizado.
Academia pequena.
Excelente hotel y muy buena ubicación. Una de las mejores zonas de Ginza.
Amazing hotel, right in the heart of Ginza. Very big rooms (especially for Tokyo), super comfortable, luxury feeling. Staff all over the place, great in helping you, lovely work done by conceige with booking restaurants, etc.
The only comment I have is their pricing strategy on booking. You have a price but small print ads 25% to the price. It is the "+ taxes" part. Normally that includes tourist tax (small amount) or so. In their care it includes 10% sales tax plus something called "service charge" at 15%. So a total of 25% on top of the price. I feel sales tax and "service charge" should be included in the initially displayed price. Surprised that a hotel of this level, belonging to a major chain, does something dirty like this. Surprised booking allows this.
Ubicación súper , personal muy amable .
Desayuno debería mejorar la oferta .
Muy fácil acceso y cerca de muchas tiendas
Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff! Can’t think of anything that was not perfectly up to par.
I recently stayed at The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s design, service, and atmosphere were all in line with what I’ve come to expect from the EDITION brand—elegant, understated luxury with a strong sense of place. My reservation included dinner at the hotel’s French restaurant, which I had been looking forward to. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the staff seemed unaware of my booking and were unable to locate my dinner reservation based on my room number. It took some time to sort things out, which made for an awkward start to what was meant to be a seamless dining experience. Additionally, both breakfast and dinner had been prepaid as part of my booking, but during checkout, the front desk staff initially attempted to charge me again for the dinner. It wasn’t until I pointed it out that the error was corrected. These hiccups were small but noticeable, especially for a property under the EDITION name, which typically prides itself on polished, detail-oriented service. I still enjoyed my stay and would consider returning, but I hope the hotel can improve in these areas to truly reflect the level of consistency and refinement expected of the brand.
I’m an Edition hotels lover and I did some research on the 2 Edition hotels and while Ginza does not offer as many amenities as the other hotel, I am so happy I chose this hotel. I could not recommend this hotel more! Book it and thank me later! The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and luxe. The location is right near many shops and super convenient. It’s still in a quiet area which is nice. Everyone raved about the boutique like feel and how hospitality was unmatched and I agree! Upon arriving, my niece was greeted as it was her birthday trip and she loved arriving to a room with beautiful balloons and a cake. It’s the little things that make a difference and this hotel excels! The next day I asked the amazing and responsive concierge team for dinner options and they recommended our favorite meal in Tokyo and went above and above for us even though it was a last minute reservation. It mostly rained but we did get a chance to check out their rooftop which was lovely and has an amazing view of the Tokyo Tower. Thank you to Hiro, concierge team and the amazing team which greeted us and were so helpful during our stay. This was by far our favorite hotel stay In Japan and we cannot wait to return to the Ginza Edition!
An exceptional stay in the heart of Ginza; unbeatable in terms of location. You’re right in the centre of it all, with world-class shopping, dining, and culture just steps away. The breakfast was outstanding, served in a beautiful, serene setting. After a day of exploring Tokyo, I loved unwinding with a different cocktail each evening at the elegant Punch Room. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff—they are exceptional. Warm, intuitive, and always greeting you by name, they made me feel genuinely cared for. The concierge service was phenomenal; no request was too much, and every recommendation was spot-on. A wonderful bonus was complimentary access to the spa facilities at their sister property—a luxurious touch that elevated the experience even further. And don’t miss the high tea—it’s absolutely spectacular. This was, without a doubt, my best stay in Tokyo. I can’t wait to return.
The location is great for shoppers, the hotel is small but nice, staff were friendly and attentive. There was just one thing we didn’t really like that is the view from the room, our room window was facing another building. the breakfast was semi-buffet, will definitely stay here again.
We had an outstanding stay at the Ginza Edition for 7 nights. The service and staff were truly exceptional throughout the hotel. We were greeted everytime we came to the hotel and staff remembered specific things about us, including checking on how my wife was doing after she was a bit unwell. The breakfast was great and reasonably priced, with great service by Raj and Kyle as well as Irina (sp?) the hostess. The location in Ginza was perfect as it was just 1-2 blocks from the main road with great shops and food but very quiet at night with no noise. It was also 5 mins walk to several metros that got you all around town. I wish we remembered everybody's names but Bobby was really great in the lobby area. The hotel was new and obviously very clean and the room was spacious, particularly for Japan. We would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!
This is a lovely small hotel off a very chic area of Ginza. It is convenient to a JR station and easy walking to excellent shopping and dining. My one complaint about the room is that the bathrooms are not great - double sinks would be nice and the shower was a lackluster. The beds were perfection though. The staff is charming, omnipresent and very helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the rooftop bar is a blast. A word of warning —their restaurant recommendations skew a bit too authentic. If you’re not a very adventurous eater, ask for the Western/American style restaurants (or be prepared for chicken necks and all kinds of innards).
Excellent team very cooperative The latest cation was great every thing around us
Very expensive
The hotel is wonderful and the location is excellent. Tokyo is a very big city and Ginza is a very central “neighborhood”. These two characteristics alone would be enough to rate the hotel as excellent. However, the hotel exceeds all expectations in terms of staff. The hospitality was the best I have ever seen! The entire staff is well trained and very attentive, including with our 7-month-old baby - special mention for the VIP service for him. We will definitely be back!
As an elite member, I received a complimentary room upgrade to superior room and late checkout until 2.30 PM, which I appreciated. The welcome amenity of fresh strawberries and candies was a nice touch as well. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the high point redemption required. Service lacked the attentiveness and personalization one would expect from a luxury property in this price range. A particularly disappointing moment was when staffs (escorted us to the room and delivered welcome amenity) entered our room without removing their shoes, despite us having clearly taken ours off—a lack of cultural sensitivity that stood out, especially in Japan. We were also staying to celebrate a special occasion, but the hotel staff made no acknowledgment of our anniversary. Ironically, the restaurant they helped us reserve did recognize it and even surprised us with a small bouquet, which only highlighted the hotel’s missed opportunity. For the same amount of points or cash, I’ve had significantly better service at Ritz-Carlton Kyoto. Unfortunately, this stay at The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza was disappointing and didn’t feel worth the value. I expected more from a brand of this caliber.
