Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Piccola ma carina, personale gentile ,lavanderia, sala comune con microonde per cenare in struttura e tanti gadget da bagno a disposizione. Vicina alla metro una manciata di minuti a piedi e una ventina di minuti a piedi dalle zone centrali. Di fronte,un supermercato permette di assaggiare piatti pronti e di comprare la colazione facilmente.
La stanza non ha possibilità di aprire la finestra (spesso succede in Giappone )e il condizionatore è posizionato in modo che l'aria arrivi proprio sopra il letto...non è il massimo.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026While it definitely is not a budget option, it was a relief to be able to book last minute (day of) without the price being completely exorbitant. There are some recommended local things on an info screen near the entrance, and I thoroughly adored the cafe advertised there (Goodman Roasters). It is also right across the street from a supermarket, which was lovely for picking up something fresh and simple to eat.
The desk hours for check in were limited, and it was a bit frustrating that it was not staffed earlier in the morning, as this made it more difficult to retrieve an item that had been left in the room, since it meant completely disrupting other plans to stop by in the middle of the day.

Reviewed May 31, 2026Heel fijn en modern hotel op een perfecte locatie, vlakbij de hoofd winkelstraat en op loopafstand van Gion. Ook dichtbij bushaltes en metro stations. Het personeel is vriendelijk, en alles is schoon.
De airco werkte ons hele verblijf van 4 dagen niet mee: het was warm, dan weer koud. Ook al stelde ik het opnieuw in, het werkte niet. Ook het bed was behoorlijk gevoelig voor draaien, waardoor je gemakkelijk wakker werd van elkaar. Tip voor het hotel: voorzie een aantal kamers met twee aparte bedden voor gezelschappen die dit zouden prefereren.

Je signale la chambre est moquettée... et la baie vitrée est sans ouverture sur l'extérieur .... donc ventilation et climatisation 24h/24h...

Er kon geen raam open en er leek ook niet echt een goed ventilatiesysteem in de kamer te zitten waardoor het enorm muf werd in de kamer. Echt een groot nadeel want dit voelde niet fris. Had behoefte aan frisse lucht in de kamer.

Although it's useful to have the small local market opposite, the downside is that it is noisy every day from about 7.15am for 40 mins as the gatbage/recycling truck picks up piles of cardboard. No real impact as I'm awake earlier anyway... but if you're looking for long undisturbed lie-ins (why?! in such an amazing city!) then suggest you try for a room that is not at the front.

Room was not well ventilated and hot, can't open a window. There is air conditioning but it was either cold or hot, it helped but not enough. Also should know this is an annex to the main hotel KABIN taka, so no reception in the morning or night, only in the main hotel a few minutes down the road, and luggage storage and other facilities are in the main hotel

Die Luft in den Zimmern ist schrecklich, trotz zusätzlichem Luftreiniger und Fan war es im März stickig und wie in der Sauna. Es fehlte an Sauerstoff. War nur halbwegs erträglich, wenn die Zimmertür offen blieb (kein toller Zustand)… nicht nur in meinem Zimmer. Hab ich noch nirgendwo anders so unangenehm erlebt- dickes MINUS

Ευρύχωρα δωμάτια για τα ιαπωνικά πρότυπα. Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και στα δύο καταλύματα. Μάς έδωσαν την ευκαιρία, αφηνοντας τις αποσκευές μας, να κάνουμε μία επίσκεψη στην πόλη και την τελευταία μέρα αφού είχαμε κάνει check out.

The staff is working at 1pm until 10pm, so it is self check out. The tablet was not working so we need to contact another Kabin hotel to handle our check out.

The room itself was modern and had enough space for everything. The bathroom was modern and the bed super comfortable. Another big bonus, the laundry machine! cheap laundry directly at home. You can even pay cashless if you scan the QR code on the washer and dryer.

La falta de atención en la recepción y no tener las habitaciones contiguas que solicitamos. Hicimos las reservas con muchísimas antelación, deberían haber podido gestionarlo La habitación al frente es muy ruidosa ya que hay un gran supermercado enfrente que comienza a trabajar 5am con recepción de mercadería y ruido molesto
