APA Hotel Kayabacho Hatchobori Ekimae

We had a clean, compact room with storage under-bed and a headboard big enough for charging phones overnight, setting eyeglasses and/or water bottles. The double bed was comfortable for a couple. Bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. Good room if you need an efficient place to rest between your local tourism and visits. Breakfast at the nearby Denny's was easy to use, good quality 'western' breakfast. Price was great for being close to Tokyo Station and other line stations. We walked with our luggage from Tokyo Station, grabbed a Go Taxi to get back for our next destination. Would recommend to friends as a good start to learn more about Japan. Excellent economy, easy on the travel budget.

I was annoyed to find out that the breakfast want at the hotel but a coupon for a Denny’s nearby. I couldn’t get a refund because I made the reservation with this site. Waste of Money. Laundry was good. One machine only but it was free. I used my phone on an app for it very convenient . I think the drier wasn’t working properly it took three cycles and only on the third it was warm.

The property was close to the station and it was very clean. The entire hotel was very pleasant to be in and was close to all amenities needed (food, personal items, etc) Enjoyed the layout of the room and the little touches that APA has to make it known that you’re at their hotels. (Master controls at bedside, under bed lights, etc.) Will definitely be staying here again !

お風呂に浸かった時に、その目線だと、トイレの便器の内側の大量のカビがみえる。 清掃する時に上から綺麗にやっていて、内側の部分まで、どうしても届かないのかな。。 使うスポンジのカタチを変えるなりして、そこも綺麗にして欲しい。 せっかく湯船にゆっくり使っても、便器がカビだらけでゲンナリしてしまう。 これからもAPAホテルを絶対使い続けるから、どうにかして、あそこのカビも綺麗にして欲しい。

Hotel maravilhoso e muito bem localizado.

コインランドリーが受付階の1階にのみ1台しかない。3泊したが、常時使用中のため、私は使うことができなかった。 フロントの方に状況を話ししたところ、近くのコインランドリーを紹介してもらいました。 コインランドリーの案内地図が既に用意されていたので、ランドリーが使えないのは、いつものことなのかもしれませんね。 机の隅に細かな繊維状のホコリがありました。

清潔感あってよかったです。空調がすぐに効いて良かったが、コントロールが難しい（夜間は効きすぎて寒く、消すと暑くなるといった繰り返し）

Convenient hotel location. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well organised, minimal in terms of surface, and very clean. Negative point: the breakfast is served at a different location. The choice is minimal and not exciting.

部屋は狭いですが、清潔で静かだったのでゆっくり休むことが出来ました。 コインランドリーは1つしかないので、結構順番待ちをしましたが、テレビで状況確認出来るので助かりました。 スタッフ方々がみなさん淡々とされていて、もう少しあたたかい対応だと泊まる側も尚、気持ちがよいかと思いました。 東京駅までは、15〜20分くらいで歩いて行ける距離で便利です。

A little smaller than expected but a good crash pad for our stay in Tokyo.

Good location. However, be careful you dont try and check in at the wrong location. The hotels are very close to each other. Breakfast at Dennys was reasonable, thats where you need to go for that.

The location was good, there were couple of metro stations around it. The hotel and the room were clean but very small. As 2 adults and one toddler, there was literally no space to move.

Struttura vicina alla stazione di Tokyo e a una zona fumatori. Camere più grandi dello standard e super pulite e fornite con tutto il necessario. La metro le passa proprio sotto e ci sono tanti ristoranti ottimi nelle vicinanze. Anche 2 7eleven molto vicino

Hotel bien situé a mi chemin entre les 2 stations Hatchobori et Kayabacho à 15 min de la gare shinhansen de Tokyo et du terminal de bus. La chambre est petite mais pratique. Le petit déjeuner correct est servi dans un restaurant situé de l' autre côté de la rue à 3 min vers Hatchobori.

Though small it was very comfortable, no interference from staff, clean linen left at door every day, everything supplied.

I will always say how much I love APA hotels when travelling in Japan. The staff were great, the room was clean, it was safe, there were lots of things to walk to, and transportation was easy to navigate.

Rooms aren’t that big but it’s the perfect place to stay for a single person or couple. Not too expensive either. $650 allowed me to stay in Japan for two weeks and always have a place to comeback too. Thanks Apa hotel (kayobacho- hachibori-chuo, Tokyo).

Staying here was a mistake marred by rude staff knocking on my door like a madman for what reason, i have no idea. I was sleeping and thought there was some emergency only to be asked a rude question by a supposed staff member “do you have any problem” What kind of hotel staff knocks loudly on doors and asks a direct question like that without an apology? Very rude Indian guy who should be reprimanded and retrained in customer service. I will surely inform all my associates to avoid this hotel like the plague when visiting Tokyo. The open air hallway makes for an unrestful sleep, and the doors do not close softly.

The room was small to what I am used to but very cozy. It was my nephew and I staying for a week and the place was big enough for the both of us. I definitely would recommend this APA location.

Really nice hotel, recommend

The location is excellent if you like peace and quiet but is well connected enough that you can go anywhere in 25-30mins. The staff were courteous.

Another great APA hotel. Perfect for us since we only had a luggage each otherwise the room would have been too small. If you don’t mind a small room then this hotel is perfect for short stays. 15 minutes walk to Tokyo station or 2 minutes walk to Kayabacho station. Only complaint was the difficulty in trying to locate this hotel initially because there’s also another APA hotel nearby!

Loved our stay here. Very impressed how well-thought out everything is to make our stay the most convenient with the amenities and how furniture is situated in the room. As with most rooms in Japan, it is tiny. But everything is placed in a way that makes sense and is most efficient. Additionally, cleanliness is top-notch. The staff here are so hospitable & helpful. This is our first stop in Japan, and we may have been spoiled by how seamlessly everything worked & how clean everything is here.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days (as part of our 3 week trip to Japan). Check-in was fast and easy. The associates at the front desk were friendly and polite. We do not speak Japanese, but this was not an issue. The hotel was very nice and our room came with all of the amenities we needed (mini fridge, toothbrush, toothpaste, brush, q-tips, razors, etc.). There is also a shared microwave and washer/dryer that is available for all guests. The Hotel is within walking distance to Tokyo Station, convenience stores and restaurants, which was very convenient. The included breakfast was offered at a nearby Denny's and was worth the additional cost. The room was very clean and comfortable, but for a couple with 2 carry on bags, it was quite small/tight. Would recommend the smaller rooms for single travelers.

The staff was always so quick and so professional even with the language barrier we were still able to get our point across from A to B without complications compared to hotels & transportation in the US.

Great stay. Exactly as you’d expect from a budget hotel

There is only one elevator for the entire hotel. You had to wait quite a while any time you used it. Did not like navigating all the cleaning (sheets, garbage, etc.) that is left out in the hallway for a large portion of the day.

The room was clean and comfortable. There seemed to be a few hourly love hotel patrons of questionable intent both days we were there. How they check out at 2 p.m. and wearing mafia or yakuza tattoo art added to this concern. The elevator did not require a key card to stop at various floors, so all and sundry would pile in and get off at different stops. The hallways were very hot and the open-air end section did little to alleviate the heat, making it unbearable for staff and guests alike. The single elevator was insufficient for traffic in a 15 story hotel. And the single washing facility was also overworked and caused a backlog. The staff was lovely but no one was at the desk when guests were checking out the morning of August 7 for almost two hours. We would likely return to this property if the needs improvement items were fixed.

Super small but not bad for a night stay. If you are packing light it is not a bad option.

The service here was great! The room itself was smaller than what we thought, from pics we saw. Hotel info on TV was great, laundry machine availability, check out time. Close to Tokyo Metro stops and plenty places to eat within walking distance. Overall a pleasant stay.
