Nichts hat uns gefallen. Nur das Bett war bequem.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt wirklich schrecklich. Wir waren zwei Frauen (23 und 33 Jahre alt) und konnten nachts aufgrund der extrem lauten Musik aus den umliegenden Bars, insbesondere der Bar Papel, kaum schlafen. Selbst mit Ohrstöpseln war der Lärm nicht auszuhalten. Zusätzlich sind die Wände extrem hellhörig. Morgens konnten wir beispielsweise die Videos und Gespräche des Nachbarn deutlich hören. An erholsamen Schlaf war somit überhaupt nicht zu denken. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr klein. Die Betten waren allerdings groß und bequem. Einen Kleiderschrank gab es nicht, sodass wir unsere Kleidung komplett im Koffer lassen mussten. Die Klimaanlage war zwar vorhanden, die kalte Luft wurde jedoch direkt auf das Bett geleitet, was ebenfalls unangenehm war. Besonders störend war außerdem der starke Kanalgeruch, der morgens aus dem Badezimmer kam. Die Zimmer wurden während unseres Aufenthalts zudem nicht gereinigt, was wir bei einem Hotelaufenthalt sehr enttäuschend fanden. Auch in puncto Sicherheit hatten wir kein gutes Gefühl. Die untere Eingangstür schien praktisch für jeden zugänglich zu sein und unsere Zimmertür ließ sich nicht einmal richtig abschließen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer ausgeprägten Partystraße, weshalb es insbesondere nachts sehr laut und aus unserer Sicht nicht besonders sicher wirkte. Beim Auschecken war nicht einmal Personal vor Ort. Wir haben die Karte lediglich auf dem Pult liegen gelassen und sind gegangen. Wir haben etwa 20 € pro Nacht bezahlt. Trotzdem bereuen wir es im Nachhinein sehr, nicht etwas mehr Geld für ein besseres und ruhigeres Hotel ausgegeben zu haben. Gerade wenn man tagsüber viel unterwegs ist und abends erschöpft ins Hotel zurückkommt, möchte man sich dort entspannen und vor allem in Ruhe schlafen können – das war hier leider überhaupt nicht möglich. Wir können diese Unterkunft daher absolut nicht empfehlen, insbesondere nicht jungen Frauen, die Wert auf ein sicheres Gefühl legen.

It was a central place, easy to reach with many connections.

Although it was a perfect place as a central location, sleeping was difficult with all the club/karaoke playing in the evening and night.

Комнату забывают убирать, приходится напоминать. Очень шумно ночью из за кафе баров снизу но все выключают после 02:00

The receptionists here are absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. From the very first moment of check-in, they make you feel so welcome that it feels like you have known them for years. Their hospitality truly sets the tone for a wonderful stay, and you will meet genuinely amazing people when you stay here.

There is a nightclub in the adjacent building that plays loud music until 3:00 AM every night. The noise makes it absolutely impossible to sleep.

The location is excellent

The carpet is dirty. Bathroom tiles have mold on them. The shower was leaking. The Air conditioner in the bathroom smelled like sewage. There were dead bugs on the door At night is super loud from the outdoor cafes and playing music

Only the location was good.

Shower was broken. Booking was done for 2 persons, but there was only one towel, we had to go and ask for towel. No glasses, no cups. Furniture is very old and shabby. The room is very small.

The location was on point, especially when you want to be in the heart of Karakoy, however it’s not that easy to find, unless you familiar with the strip.

The shower doors were dirty, hair on the towels, dirty carpets. It looked elegant on the platform but was a let down when I walked in. Things that can be rectified and will make the experience better for the next visitor. The staff were friendly, well done gents!!

I really enjoyed staying at Persona hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect. You can take the public transportation really quick and you can enter Galataport by walking. I defently recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is amazing. It is located in the most lovely area Karakoy. I am coming often to Istanbul to discover hotels and this is one of my favorite to go. Eren and Kenan at the check-in desk helped me a lot and gave me everything what needed.

i ragazzi erano veramente tanto educati e disponibili la zona era meravigliosa e centrale, forse troppo rumorosa per dormire la notte ma siamo giovani quindi non è stato un problema per noi

purtroppo l’igiene è veramente tanto scarsa . appena siamo arrivati la stanza era in condizioni catastrofiche, ho subito chiesto e mi hanno aiutato … il problema è che hanno pulito solo le zone che ho chiesto di pulire e non altri punti della camera . ció ci ha veramente delusi perche non è carino ritrovarti una stanza in condizioni del genere. lo staff attento a chiedere se manca qualcosa sempre ma appunto il problema consiste solo nella pulizia delle camere , probabilmente perche fatte con superficialità.

I did not like a single thing about this hotel. The location is okay but it is in a busy and loud street so expect little to no rest during your stay.

When I arrived at the hotel the room they gave me was a smaller room than the one a booked, it was also above a cafe that played loud music all day, I had to use my headphones on noise cancelling mode every single night to be able to rest. The bathroom door was broken and it was extremely filthy. I requested a room change and was moved to an upper floor, again, the bathroom was so dirty I had to actually buy cleaning supplies to be able to use the bathroom, they never cleaned the bedroom during my stay. The receptionist is barely in the building and on the night of September 26th at 4am a man broke into my room, there are no manual locks in the door, so anyone with a card can open the door, I had to barricade the door with a bedside table and clothes under a shoe to stop the door from opening. I am traveling alone so I was obviously scared. Around 15 to 20 minutes after, this man tried to open another door next to my room and the other guests screamed at him. I wrote a message via WhatsApp to someone who I believed, was hotel staff, and had previously wrote to me about the room change, and it turns out he is not even an employee of the hotel, so my personal information is not even private, he came over and I had to be nice because, again, I am a female solo traveler and this person was flirting with me on WhatsApp wishing me ''sweet dreams'', this is completely unprofessional. I asked to check the cameras the next day but there was no one at the reception, they later told me it was a previous guest that had the card to the room I was staying in. Which does not makes sense because why would someone who checked out still have the key card. They only offered me free coffee in downstairs coffee shop (the same one who plays loud music). I would advise anyone REFRAIN FROM STAYING HERE, especially if you are a woman, at the moment I couldn't afford to change hotels but I regret greatly not doing so even if that meant to re-budget this whole trip.

Я заселялась уже ближе к вечеру, однако номер не был готов. Пришлось подождать. Уборка очень плохая. Как будто они и не ждали гостей, когда я подъехала, парень с ресепшена пошел сам готовить номер и естественно, прибрал его очень поверхностно. Укрываться пришлось каким то покрывалом, так как не было пододеяльника, поэтому спала в одежде, боялась заразиться какими нибудь постельными клещами.

Emplacement bien situé près restaurants et bars

À fuir la chambre est très sale, nous arrivons à 19h et la chambre n’est pas nettoyée après cela a 3 heures du matin ce n’était pas possible de dormir à cause des bars à côté ou la musique était hurlante dans notre chambre le bruit était comme dans une boite de nuit, j’ai donc appelé le numéro de téléphone de la réception qui n’a rien fait pour arranger le problème. J’ai donc appelé la police qui est venue et a fait stopper ce carnage. Le lendemain pas d’eau chaude pour ce laver dans leur salle de bain qui était pas nettoyée . Horrible

The location of the hotel was very inconvenient for sleeping. Right outside there were several bars and restaurants playing loud music until 2–3 a.m., and on weekends even until 4 a.m. It was nearly impossible to get proper rest. On top of that, the cleanliness was poor – when I checked in, there were many hairs on the bed, and later I found ants in the room that went straight for any food leftovers. The reception staff also came across as rather unhelpful and unfriendly. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I spoke with the manager but he doesn't want to find a solution. He offers a half refund but I think given the situation it's not reasonable. There are no towels, no duvets. The hotel is very dirty, you can't sleep. It's a trash can. Here are the photos. the smells in the bathroom make you want to vomit

Otelin konumu olsun çalışanlarının yardımseverliği ve ilgisi olsun her şey çok güzeldi. Kaldığımız süreç boyunca biz çok memnun kaldık. Gönül rahatlığıyla tercih edilebilecek bir otel.

This area is the heart of Istanbul nightlife, meaning if you are looking for a quiet room to sleep at 9-10 pm or you have young kids this is not a ideal place, but if you'd like to sleep or go about your business during the day and have fantastic time at night this is the spot, you can go for a nice long walk by the port right at the end of the street which is a gated outdoor mall and you also have tons of options for food/drinks and music, what I love the most about this area, other than being so central and accessible by walking/taxi/tram and ferries, is very safe at night and even though there are many bars and a lot of alcohol being served but you don't see any rowdy, crazy drunk people like some other parts of the town.

I saw in the comments someone mentioned the smell in the bathroom, It's not the bathroom nor the plumbing, it's Istanbul and it's limestone which wherever you drop a bit of water you get that smell, so I had the bathroom door closed and there is a exhaust fan going and didn't have any issue at all.

This was one of my worst stays. The noise from the bars was awful and even my noise canceling headphones couldn’t fully help. IT IS LOUD AS HELL from all the bars below, get ready to suffer through horrible music when you’re trying to sleep. The rooms are tiny and the AC has just one setting that can’t be changed, so be prepared to either sweat or freeze. I was not given any blankets, just one sheet to sleep under. And the sheets you sleep on are smaller than the bed and don’t get tucked so you wake up sweaty on a bare mattress. Plus the staff weren’t there half the time so I waited to check in for 30 minutes, sitting outside on the sidewalk in the heat of summer Istambul. DON’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Small room, but very cute and clean. We really love this area so we decide to book hotel here despite very loud bars downstairs. For us it’s okay because we sleep really well. In summary we really satisfied with this hotel. Stuff is very helpful and friendly 🙏🏻

Moderne Unterkunft und gute Ausstattung

War nicht ganz sauber, besonders im Bad. Die Unterkunft ist zwischen Bars, wobei der Lärm nur wenig unterdrückt wird.

Small but very well-equipped hotel in the center of Istanbul. The room is compact, but everything is smartly organized — from lighting and switches to a great flat-screen TV. There is also an elevator, which is a big plus. The staff is amazing — very polite, helpful, and friendly. They always greet you with a smile and are ready to assist. The whole hotel smells incredible — I’ve never experienced such a nice aroma at a hotel before, not in the room, not in the elevator, not at the reception. I even bought the same scent because I liked it so much! Everything was clean and well maintained.😺✊🏻

The room is quite small, but considering how efficiently everything is arranged, it’s not really a problem. It’s a typical feature for buildings in the city center.😊

Amazing stuff they are very friendly, generous and helpful. always there whenever we needed them. specially Eren and the young barista. He treat us a free coffee me and my mother many times. The location is perfect close to everything. Just 3 minutes walk to galata port. It’s located on a lively street full of coffee shops and restaurants. Fast WiFi. clean room. Comfortable bed. Room service is good.

The room was very tiny. only suitable if you're staying alone. We had to change rooms twice due to a bad smell coming from the bathroom. The bars around the hotel are extremely loud at night, I couldn’t sleep until 2 or 3 AM. Also, it's a bit pricey for what it offers.

朝の８時ごろ荷物だけ預けにフロントに行くとスタッフが机で寝ていた。それはいいんだけど、だいぶ寝ぼけていたらしく、スタッフはチェックインの手続きの際に別の客の（ヒゲの濃い欧米の中年男性）パスポートコピーを見せながら『あなたの予約は無い』と私（アジア人女）に言ってくる。顔写真だいぶ違うけどなあとなんか面白かった。面白かったが個人情報の扱いに不安を感じた。 部屋は清潔で必要十分、何も不満はない。 ホテルの場所はgooglemap 必須で分かりにくいが、周辺にレストランも多く便利。ただクラブが多く夜中遅くまで大きな音楽が聞こえている。静かではないことを理解して予約した方がいい。

Otel fotoğraflarda göründüğü gibi gayet güzel döşenmiş tertemiz. Gürültü konusunda girerken uyariyorlar fakat öyle böyle bir gürültü değil TV en son sesteyken dahi duyamiyorsunuz. En kötüsü sıcak su yoktu girişte uyarılması gereken bir konuydu. Uygun fiyatlı olması gürültüyü açıklıyor fakat sıcak su olmayan bir otelde ilk kez kaldım yaşanabilecek aksilikleri göze alıyorsanız kalabilirsiniz.

Great location in a happening area, at a good price point. Very cooperative staff, they accommodated my request for a late check out and even helped move my luggage to the main road from where they had arranged a cab for pick up.

Since it's a happening area, there may be noise from outside till late, but that's to be expected.

If you choose to stay here, make sure the air conditioning is working properly. The staff is friendly, and the location is convenient, but the maintenance issues and humidity significantly detract from the overall experience.

I recently booked a one-night stay at this hotel but ended up requesting a refund due to significant problems with the room. When I turned on the air conditioning, water started leaking from it, effectively causing it to rain inside my room. While the staff at the reception were kind and tried to persuade me to stay, I decided it was best to find accommodation elsewhere. They were understanding and promptly refunded my money, which I appreciated. The hotel boasts a great location, but be aware that there are no common or relaxing areas—it's essentially just rooms without a lobby or communal space. Additionally, there was noticeable humidity in my room; I'm not sure if this is an issue in all rooms, but it's something to be cautious about. If you have any sensitivities to humidity or concerns about dust mites, this might not be the right fit for you.

Room is a bit small and at night the area is a bit noisy. It is not a problem if you have earplugs or you have a deep sleep.

There was no remove available as they had some issues in one of them, they moved me to a further hotel.

The hotel is in amazing place. All the main attractions. 10 minutes walking to eminonu Rooms are very clean. Strongly recommended hotel

This hotel is in a great location , close to Galata Tower, Modern Istanbul and Istiklal Ave . So many great cafes and restaurants near. Close to trams and walking access to many places. Very friendly and happy staff and willing to help with directions and advice for Istanbul sites . Hotel is very clean and serviced daily . Necessary amenities,WFI and smart tv. Very comfortable Hotel. We recommend this hotel and would return on our next visit.

great position close to bars mean also noise during the night. keeping the window close helps you to isolate the room but if you have some ear plugs it's better for your sleep.

Just what we needed. Extended our stay until cruise ship departure! Perfect location, comfortable bed, safe area, much needed bottled water in room everyday. No negatives.

When I arrived, there was nobody at the reception, it didn't took 2 minutes until the Hotel Director arrived. If the Staff is not in the reception they are probably in front of the Hotel. The Hotel Director is a very Polite and Caring Guy. It can be really loud depending on how loud the Bars, Cafes and Restaurant turn up the Music which are around the Hotel. Friday and Saturday there was loud Music until 2am.

Konumu çok iyi. İstanbul moderne çok yakın. Otel odası küçük biz bir gece kaldığımız için ve valizimiz küçük boy olduğu için zorlanmadık ama büyük valizi açamayacak kadar dar bir alan var odada. Yatak konforluydu. Dolap ve kasa olmaması kötüydü. Banyo temizdi fakat banyodaki su zor gidiyordu. Genel anlamda bir gece için 10 üzerinden fiyat performans olarak 8 verirdim şayet o gece 4 e kadar süren ses olmasaydı. Bir daha asla tutmam hele cumartesi gecesi asla asla. Öyle bir ses ki kulaklık takıp uyumaya çalıştım. 4 de en son sokağın sakinleştiğini duydum. Ses aşırı aşırı aşırı aşırıııı geliyor. Çünkü aşağısı barlar sokağıymış :( Otel yetkilileri çok ilgiliydi 10/10 puanım gerçekten o konuda 10 ama ses puanımı kırmama sebep oldu.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel, the room is nicely desinged and very clean, the hotel stuff was friendly and the location is of course perfect. Two minutes to the galata port and other central areas.

The hotel is located on a super noisy street, so make sure to take ear plugs with you. I always have a few with me and the stay was comfortable, but I imagine it won't without them.

Good location. Very clean and modern with all the basic amenities required if you’re needing a perfectly compact and clean bed to rest your head after exploring istanbul. Double glazing means minimal to zero noise bleed from the bustling bars around the area.

Çok guzel bir yerde, kafelerin arasinda bir otel. Temizlik ve kalitesinden gayet memnun kaldık. Bir daha İstanbula gittigimde mutlaka tekrar tercih ederiz. Ayrica yakinlarda yürüme mesafesinde bir katlı otopark mevcut.

Oda da hareket alanı yoktu. Sadece yatak ve komindin sığacak şekilde yapılmıştı. Çarşaflar değiştirilmemiş ve çok kötü durumdaydı. Oda temizliği çok kötü yapılmıştı

Öncelikle otele iyi yorum yapıp tercih etmeme neden olan herkese teesüf ederim. Eşimle 3 gecelik konaklamamızın ilk gecesinde verdikleri odanın camı kapanmıyordu içerisi buz gibi olduğu için başka odaya geçmek istedik. Çift kişilik odaları dolu olduğu için bir geceliğine tek kişilik odada idare etmemizi istediler pekala dedik ve odaya geçtik. Tek kişilik odada da yatak pisti bildiğiniz bir sürü kıl vardı yatakta. İdare etmek adına iğrenerek de olsa kaldık. Ertesi gün başka bir odaya geçtik tam iyi güzel derken duşa gireceğimiz zaman gördük ki bu odanın da duşunun gideri tıkalı. Ama öyle basit bir tıkanma değil duşakabin göle dönüşüyor hatta su duşakabinden taşıyor duş almak imkansız. Ayrıca banyo yine temiz değil yerler kıllarla doluydu. Durumu bildirip temizletilmesini istedik ama bayram olduğu için söz vermeyelim muhtemelen düzeltemeyiz dediler. 3 gecelik konaklamamız burnumuzdan geldi. Sonuç olarak otelin yalnızca konumu güzel. Galataporta 5 dk da geçiyorsunuz. Bunun dışında temizlik konfor rezalet. Odalar fotoğraftakinden çok çok küçük. Ses konusu beklediğimiz gibiydi merkezi bi konumda olduğu için diğer yorumlarda da belirtildiği gibi gece 1 e kadar falan yüksek sese hazır olun.
