Ages in Cappadocia

We recently stayed at Ages Cappadocia and truly enjoyed our time there. Our cave-style room, Herodotus (if I remember correctly), was cozy, clean, and full of character — exactly what we were hoping for in a cave room in Cappadocia. One of our favorite parts was the terrace. We loved spending time there in the afternoons having tea or coffee, and sometimes just relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring. It was such a peaceful spot, and although it was a pity we weren’t able to see the hot air balloons in the morning due to the weather, the terrace was still a lovely place to unwind. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always attentive to what we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable.

Ages in Cappadocia is the perfect base to discover and enjoy Cappadocia. Located just below Uçhisar Castle, the hotel offers an incredible view over the valleys, and the service is just as impressive as the location. The rooms are spacious cave rooms in tuff stone and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was wonderful every morning, freshly prepared and a little different each day — and the menemen 😋 was an absolute dream. The reception team was always there for us. A special thank you to Zeynep, who supported us perfectly in organizing a balloon flight and connected us with a great company. We really appreciated your help. And the best part: Tarçın, the loyal hotel dog, who greeted us so kindly every day. All in all, we had a truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Most unique experience in Turkey! Absolutely wonderful hotel located in a cave, with the most beautiful view of the valley. Staff were very attentive and the breakfast was incredible.

We loved everything -> the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in every way, the location was perfect, the views were stunning out the window and from the terraces, the room was clean and incredibly atmospheric with a spacious bathroom, the breakfasts were delicious and served with gusto, and the dog that greeted us every time with a wagging tail... The list could go on and on!

We had cold and rainy weather for our entire stay. Nothing that the hotel can do about this but our room was always cosy and underfloor heating wonderful.

Besonders hat uns die Individualität des Hotels gefallen. Als Cave Hotel sind viele der Zimmer höhlenartig ausgebaut. Unser Zimmer hatte Fenster mit einem herrlichen Ausblick. Auf den vielen Terrassen kann man entspannen mit dem Blick in die Weite. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam. Es begann schon mit der Unterstützung bei der Planung der Aktivitäten, was uns einiges erleichtert hat. Der Besitzer ist unwahrscheinlich nett und gastfreundlich. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet und gut. Die Lage ist etwas versteckt, aber man ist schnell im Zentrum. Direkt gegenüber vom Hotel gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant, klein, aber fein.

The staff at Ages are incredibly helpful and considerate. From the start of our booking Zeynep, Gul, Oyky, and Murat communicated with us to ensure that our stay in Cappadocia was comfortable. They helped us with airport transfers and local bookings. The location is very accessible and there are some great places to unwind nearby. The hotel and rooms are clean and feel homely... and the amazing breakfast every morning sets you up for the day! Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! an excellent experience sleeping in a cave. So nice hosts, helping us with absolutely everything we needed - parking the car, restaurant recommendation, etc. Breakfast is amazing, and so is the view from the hotel terrace, this is the place from where you have the best view over Cappadocia valleys with the balloons

A true home away from home! The owner's personal involvement and care make this place truly special. Our room was stunningly authentic, featuring a huge, top-quality bathroom that had everything we needed. The breakfast experience was wonderful – prepared and served by the hosts themselves, making it feel very personal and warm. The location is also perfect for exploring: Uchisar Castle is just a 10-minute walk away. The city center is reachable in 15 minutes on foot. Love Valley and Pigeon Valley are within a 15–40 minute walk. The views from the windows are breathtaking. If you want a place that feels like home while exploring Cappadocia, this is it. Highly recommended!

Kleinschalig hotel met zeer goede persoonlijke service van het personeel en de eigenares. De locatie is rustig en van daaruit kan je eenvoudig naar de verschillende valleien gaan om te hiken. Het is omgeven door vele goede restaurants en bars. Door zijn hoge ligging is het uitzicht op de verschillende valleien vanop het terras echt fantastisch.

Eigenlijk niks, maar als ik toch iets van advies mag geven dan zou het zijn om verwarming in de ontbijtkamer te voorzien. Viel voor ons mee omdat het niet echt koud was, maar wat in de winter... Op onze kamer was de WiFi in de patio stabiel, niet in bed. (zit waarschijnlijk te diep in de rots) PS: sauna Leea in naastgelegen hotel CCR is echt geen aanrader om naartoe te gaan.

La struttura è caratteristica, molto bella e con uno splendido panorama. Camera e bagno grandi. Ottima ed abbondante colazione. Personale gentilissimo e cordiale. Il cocker “Cannella” adorabile.

Da simpatia de todos os funcionários desde a Sra. Gül, o Sr. Murat e restante equipa que nos providenciaram um ótima estadia. E principalmente, por termos sido tão bem recebidas pela RP Cinnamon, a cadela do hotel, muito fofinha e brincalhona ! Os quartos são confortáveis e com uma vista espetacular. O pequeno almoço turco é muito bom.

Habitación algo descuidada, la ducha funcionaba mal y la bañera no echaba agua suficientemente caliente. Además, en 3 noches no pasaron a limpiar la habitación, y ni siquiera nos repusieron papel higiénico o jabón. El desayuno es mejorable (solo pan con mermelada, queso, patatas fritas y aceitunas). En general, creo que el hotel tiene potencial pero tienen bastantes cosas para mejorar.

This place was outstanding. Our room was legitimately in the rock with views of Uchisar castle, the town was quaint compared to Göreme which was bustling with tourism. The staff were incredible. And the breakfast fantastic. We loved this place. I was with my partner and9 year old.

The people there are so nice that words cannot describe. They were helpful, professional and very very kind. They made sure we did not face any issues at all.

No voy a subir fotos porque no le harían justicia. Ni siquiera las del propio hotel captan la realidad. Es mucho más bonito e impresionante en persona, no hay nada que tape la vista salvo las montañas del horizonte. Pero sin duda lo mejor es el trato recibido durante nuestra estancia. Ofreciéndose a ayudar en todo lo posible. Calefacción por suelo radiante. Limpieza y desayuno de 10. Parking privado al aire libre. Ni un solo ruido de tráfico durante la noche, ni prácticamente durante el día, solamente la naturaleza. Ofrecen tours organizados por si no te quieres complicar la vida antes de llegar. Su perro Tarçin.. Adorable. Se lo recomendaré a amigos y familiares.

Es ist eine wunderschöne Cave Unterkunft mit toller Einrichtung und einem sensationellen Blick auf die Ballons zum Sonnenaufgang. Die Besitzer sind immer hilfsbereit und bieten einen hervorragenden Service. Egal ob beim leckeren Frühstück, Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge oder den Flughafen Transfer. Der Ort Uchisar ist unseres Erachtens viel schöner, authentischer und vor allem ruhiger als Göreme. Und auch der Ausblick ist von dort einzigartig! Wir würden immer wieder ins Ages in Cappadocia kommen. Danke für den zauberhaften Aufenthalt, den Service und die unvergesslichen Erlebnisse.

Great cave room, comfortable and warm with a lot of space. Awesome view from the terrace of the Gerome township below. Breakfast was 10/10 - perfect for fueling you for a long day of exploring. Staff were amazing - Nor was very helpful and friendly :). Would definitely stay again!

This hotel went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The location was INCREDIBLE (even the tour guides and taxi drivers said so). Even though we didn’t get to see the balloons take off due to weather - this property made up for it and then some. If you’re reading this review- trust me-it’s worth it.

Everything! The team was absolutely wonderful. Nour went above and beyond during my stay. She came up every morning to check up on me. She was helpful and really kind. The room was wonderful, super warm and cosy. The breakfast was so so good with lots of variety. Honestly, I’ve started in 2 cave hotels in Cappadocia and this isn’t far the best one :) Bonus is their dog tarçın, she’s a delight.

朝の気球は天候の関係で見れなかったが、おそらく飛んでいれば最高のビュースポット。洞窟風の部屋もこの価格設定で泊まれるのは凄くコスパがいい。ホテル全体の雰囲気はまさにカッパドキアに来たぞと浸れる感じで、おしゃれであり、最高のホテル。そして一番はホテルスタッフのホスピタリティ。現地通貨がなくて困った時に両替を助けてくれた。景色を見ながらいただく朝食も最高。飼い犬は最高にキュート。

住宿房间特别温暖，我是今年圣诞去土耳其旅行，住得这家洞穴酒店，酒店布置典雅，灯光拍照很复古，非常出片。洞穴酒店的天台拍照特别美，可以眺望卡帕多西亚的喀斯特地貌。如果天气好，可以观看热气球。另外，酒店的早餐也特别好吃，酒店服务人员，不管是经理还是服务人员都特别热情友好。

Wonderful hotel! Our room had an amazing view of the hot air balloons. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very friendly — they welcomed us like family. The room was cozy, clean, and warm, which was especially important in November. A perfect place, we will definitely come back!

The people that own or run this place make it a wonder stay! Truely one of the best spots for viewing all of Cappadocia and the Balloons in the am. And a short walk to the castle. Stayed in the Presidential suite and it felt like it was the highest apartment in the entire region. Amazing. Breakfast was good too. Honestly, you can see why it’s rated so high when you meet any of the staff here. Already miss Cinnamon the friendly hotel dog.

We stayed in a cave room. The size was amazingly big, the Turkish bath was a plus. Very nice overall. Just a note on the bed size: two small for 2 adults. We spent 4 nights there and the mattress was not comfortable enough. Being a cave, take into account it is fairly humid and the air circulation is not enough

Это был лучший выбор! Сервис на высшем уровне. В номере чисто, завтрак потрясающий, приносят каждому индивидуально на стол, все свеже приготовленное и очень вкусное. Персонал готов со всем помочь, встречают и провожают как самые близкие родственники. Вид с террасы великолепный, вид на шары, пили чай и наблюдали как шар пролетал прям над головой! Номера и в целом гостиница ухоженная, везде чисто, красиво, аккуратно, за порядком тут тщательно следят. Обязательно будем рекомендовать это место всем знакомым!

The roof terrace had beautiful views especially at sunrise with the balloons. The staff were all very lovely and accommodating. Cinnamon the dog is so cute!! The room was very comfortable and had a bath with a beautiful view. Such an amazing experience to stay in a cave and everything was perfect and we would stay again in a heart beat.

A uniquely beautiful bed and breakfast feel. The traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious! The scenic view from every location of the property was mesmerizing.

Local muito calmo, próximo do Castelo, restaurantes e lojinhas. Perfeito para conhecer as principais atrações da Cappadocia e passear de balão. A recepção nos auxiliou com a agenda de passeios e orientou sobre as condições climáticas para o balão. Não tivemos voos durante a estadia por conta do vento, voltaremos um dia para realizar essa experiência que nos pareceu bem segura, graças às informações e recomendações da recepção do hotel, nossa estadia foi excelente

The Ages in Cappadocia Hotel was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Turkey. We had a stunning jacuzzi cave suite with breathtaking views. The décor and ambiance were truly amazing, creating such a unique experience. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and caring. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel!
