A volte si sentiva un cattivo odore proveniente dal bagno…

Justo el lugar que buscaba para descansar unos días. Privacidad, comodidad, paz y calma. El personal muy amable y los gatitos le dan un toque especial. Gracias por todo 🫶🏼

Un hôtel au calme et offrant tous les services pour pouvoir profiter de la lagune : Kayak, vélo, paddle … Un peu dans son jus mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié son ambiance. Personnel également adorable et très souriant.

Questo è stato il soggiorno migliore del nostro viaggio di due settimane in Messico. La struttura è semplicemente stupenda. Noi avevamo una delle palapas affacciate sul lago ed è stata una magia svegliarsi ogni giorno scostando la tenda e trovandosi praticamente sull'acqua e addormentarsi ogni sera dopo aver ammirato le stelle ed essersi fatti cullare dai suoni della laguna. Il letto era abbastanza comodo, forse un po' troppo morbido ma sono gusti. Una sera la struttura privata di fianco ha messo la musica fino a tarda notte ma è bastato fare una segnalazione alla reception e sono intervenuti prontamente. La stanza era molto pulita e veniva rifatta ogni giorno. E poi che dire dei meravigliosi animaletti che sono i veri padroni del luogo... I mici mi hanno semplicemente rubato il cuore. Avrei tanto voluto prolungare il mio soggiorno e non ripartire mai!

Niente shampoo/balsamo a disposizione degli ospiti. Bisogna considerare che trattandosi di struttura affacciata sulla laguna può capire di trovarsi un paio di blattoni in camera (che però hanno la capacità di sparire tanto velocemente quanto sono apparso). Bagno un po' buio,.qualche luce in più non sarebbe male.

La camera è grande e spaziosa così come il bagno, il letto comodo, la struttura si trova nella natura in un ottima posizione affacciata sulla laguna, kayak disponibili per fare un giro in laguna

C'era la cucina ma non dei fornelli per poter cucinare

La habitación cuenta con una terraza con acceso privado al lago.

Desde la llegada al cuarto, se percibió un olor a pipi en el baño. Durante los dos días de mi estancia, ese mal olor no se ha quitado. Ha sido molesto para nosotros este mal olor a pipí.

Nos encanto el muelle que tiene en la laguna de los 7 colores es increíble, tienen kayak y chalecos gratis para poder moverte por la laguna, nosotros fuimos hasta el canal de los piratas en el kayak, la habitación es acogedora con una terracita privada

The hotel has a direct muelle to the lagoon, kayaks and its nearby the centro . The staff was super nice.

It is old, the WC was leaking, there were a lot of insects inside the room

Tolle Lage direkt an der Lagune mti vielen Pflanzen mit eigenem Parkplatz. Von unserer Unterkunft aus (Haus Schlange) hatten wir Blick auf die Lagune. Die Unterkunft hat einen eigenen Steg mit diversen Möglichkeiten zum Sonnen und Baden, Paddelboote und SUP´s stehen ausreichend und kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Es gibt eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche, um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Gute Restaurants sind sehr gut in maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Es un lugar muy bonito lleno de plantitas y con acceso directo a la laguna. Hay mucho espacio en el muelle y se puede nadar con tranquilidad desde temprano. La habitación muy amplia y con buenas instalaciones.

No sé si en todas las habitaciones pero por lo menos en la mía no filtraba mucha luz; digo no es un gran problema pero me hubiera gustado que entrará luz natural.

Me encantó la tranquilidad, el muelle, el uso de los kayaks, la habitación es bastante amplia

El hotel esta en un lugar de ensueño. El muelle de la propiedad es de los mas bonitos de Bacalar y dan ganas de estar ahi todo el dia! Habitacion amplia y comoda.

Todo es perfecto y el personal nos hizo sentir muy seguros y confiables.

Absolutamente nada, es un contacto con la naturaleza y por la misma naturaleza hay mosquitos y sus consecuencias pero hasta un grado aceptable

Det er ikke et 5 stjernet hotel til europæiske standarder, så det skal man ikke forvente. Men det er virkelig smukt, roligt og flotte rene værelser.

Location was walking distance to city center and it was clean.

Not a huge deal, but could use a little thicker blankets.

La verdad que Yayum ofrece una experiencia súper completa. Tiene su propio embarcadero y esto sin duda aporta mucho valor a la estancia, pues es de acceso privado y tienes a disposición kayaks para uso y disfrute con total libertad. Un detalle que no me gustó fue que nos cobraron 5€ por lavarnos una toalla y un pantalón que dejamos tendidos en la terraza y cuando llegamos estaban los gatos acostados… Creo sinceramente que eso estuvo fuera de lugar. Por lo demás, repetiría sin duda.

We had an amazing two-night stay at Yayum Bacalar and loved every minute of it. The location is perfect, right on the beautiful lagoon, with breathtaking views that never get old. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights is the private pier, where you can relax in comfortable hammocks and lounge beds while enjoying the crystal-clear water and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and soak up the beauty of Bacalar. This place truly has everything you could wish for in a relaxing holiday: a fantastic location, stunning views, a tranquil atmosphere, and wonderful hospitality. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Yayum Bacalar to anyone visiting this magical destination

Staff is friendly. The grounds are beautiful and right on the lagoon. The dock is amazing. The view of the lagoon from the room is gorgeous.

When it rains the grounds and inside of the room become extremely slippery so that could an issue for anyone with limited mobility.

Le ponton sur le lac

Tout d’abord ce n’est pas un hôtel : vous arrivez devant une porte en fer dans la rue et il faut appeler. Les rats dans la chambre !! Au prix de la chambre sur piloti c’est inacceptable. On vous propose alors une chambre beaucoup moins cher sans vous rembourser la difference, chambre qui ne ferme pas et on s’est fait voler notre argent pendant une sortie. À fuir d’autant plus qu’au même prix on peut avoir une belle chambre dans un hôtel de luxe

La struttura è bellissima , sulla laguna ma in una parte più vera e romantica della laguna di bacalar, kayak e sup gratis , bici gratis , a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro, per chi ama gli animali e pieno di gatti e cani dolci e buonissimi .. e un posto magico

La ubicacion es inigualable en la laguna, tiene su propio muelle y es muy grande, eso se agradece, esta muy cerca del centro y es un lugar sumamente seguro, excelente!!!!

The location was nice in that it was in a quiet area but still close enough to walk to the square easily. The staff was very nice. Our room had a patio that hung over the lake which was really nice. We watched the sun come up from there. They have a really nice dock with lounge/sun chairs, swings and hammocks that you could swim off of. The property has pet dogs and cats on the grounds. They are all very nice and love attention.

The price was high for what you got. Maybe it was because our room sat right on the water. Otherwise I liked everything else about it.

De ligging

Het hotel was eerder twee sterren i.p.v. vijf sterren. We hadden ontbijt besteld maar dit werd door het hotel afgezegd wegens ziekte van het personeel. Er was helemaal geen personeel te zien, geen receptie, geen mogelijkheid voor een snack of drankje. De kamer was groot maar verouderd. De hele accommodatie geeft een verwaarloosde indruk. De ligging is wel top.

L'hôte est très gentil, serviable, accommoder client. Endroit paisible, zen une bonne place pour relaxer directement accès au lac qu'elle belle vue. De plus bien situé géographiquement, près de bon resto.

Les odeurs d'eau dans la salle de bain et trop d'animaux chiens et chats lousse partout.

למקום יש מזח פרטי יפייפה עם מיטות וערסלים, החדרים קרובים מאוד למזח ולאגם וניתן לקחת סאם וקיאק בחינם בכל שעות היום. הבקתות מרווחות, המיטות נוחות ומקבלים מים. אווירה רגועה במקום עם המון חתולים חביבים וכלבים נחמדים.

אין הרגשה של בית מלון או אירוח, יותר כמו איי בי אנד בי, לא ברור כל כך איפה הכניסה למקום, והצוות לא מיומן באירוח. לא מדברים אנגלית, אף אחד לא עזר לנו עם סחיבת המזוודות בהתחלה, לא קיבלנו מידע על המקום ואין קבלה מסודרת. מבחינת החדרים היינו בשניים, בראשון היה תחזוקה לקויה, ריח רע באמבטיה, ירוקת במקלחת ודלת שלא נסגרת. עברנו לחדר נוסף שם היה יותר טוב. כדי לבקש עזרה מהבעלים היינו צריכים להיכנס לבית הפרטי של בני המשפחה כדי שישימו לב אלינו, כשפנינו אליהם כן קיבלנו עזרה.

There is no path to drag suitcases to the room, but the floor is made of pebbles. One might think it was a small path.

Excelente experiencia con la gran suerte de un clima fantástico. Tranquilidad en un sitio de ensueño con muchas facilidades para disfrutar de La Laguna. El staff siempre dispuesto y muy amable.

Necesita algunas mejoras en sus instalaciones y algún detalle en las habitaciones, pero es entendible estando tan cerca de La Laguna.

La ubicacion y la cabaña en frente de la Laguna, ademas, lo staff muy amable y acogedor..

El desayuno podria ser un poco mas rico y sabroso.

Location was amazing . Perfect spot right on the lagoon where you can spend your days swimming, kayaking, bird watching etc. staff was very friendly and housekeeping did a great job tidying up our room every day. The property is a hidden paradise with sweet cats/dogs on site. It was easy to contact staff at all times.

1) should not be advertised as an ‘adults only’ property as there were children on the property that were running up and down the dock on several occasions. 2)very strong smell of sewage in the rooms throughout the day. Some days were worse than others. 3)2/6 nights we stayed there were loud parties. One night was the vacation rental beside the property and the other night the party was on the docks. Just something to be aware of.

I really enjoyed my time here at Yayum overall because it’s on the edge of town so it’s more quiet than in the center and only a short 10-15 min walk to everything. It’s a 30-45 min walk to the other end towards the cenotes. There are also kayaks and paddle boards to use for free which was a great plus. When it’s not too windy, it’s easy to get on the lagoon and paddle out and back. I really enjoyed doing that in the mornings. There’s also a tour company nearby (10 min walk) that’s really great and I highly recommend them, Amir AdvenTours (I went on the sunrise SUP and loved it). As for the grounds, it’s very tropical and peaceful. Lots of friendly cats and dogs hanging out as well as two beautiful orange iguana/lizards. The kitchen never seemed to be open when I was there but it also wasn’t that full at the hotel so I didn’t mind (is a small hotel only about 8 rooms and only about 3 or 4 send in use when I went in December). There’s a little store across the street and plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The first room I stayed in was comfy and had a king bed. It had no water pressure in the sink and you have to let the water run 5 min in the shower before it’s hot but it does get hot. Nice fridge, lock safe, coffee maker and a nice terrace with partial view of the lagoon. I then switched to a cabana on the lagoon front and that was even better. The view was perfect and the sunrises are spectacular. The bed was comfy, and the room had hangers, fridge, coffee, windows, fan, AC and nice bathroom with two sinks. Shower was the same, let it run for 5 min to get hot water. I hated wasting water though. They put up a hammock for me on the cabana dock and it was por heaven thank you! The AC worked well. There are also chairs and hammocks on the main dock that were perfect. Also a couple of swings in the water and stairs to go right in on the dock. Perfect to take pics! The restaurant next door plays music all day.

They have free bikes to use, which is great, but warning that the brakes didn’t work on one of the red bikes for me. Obviously I didn’t realize this until after I left and fell down a hill because I couldn’t stop fully. I broke my sandals and hurt my feet. The girl I explained this to said it was because I was on a hill. No, the brakes should work regardless. The bikes are old and rusted which is common on a lot of places with green bikes to use/and the weather here. Just check them before you take one. I didn’t let this ruin my trip though.

Tout était impeccable, de l’échange de messages avec les hôtes, à la beauté du lieu, en passant par la propreté de la chambre, et le fait qu’ils prêtent le matériel pour le lagon (kayak, paddle, rames, gilets de sauvetage). Des hôtes très discrets qui savent être présent s’il y a besoin.

Pas beaucoup de pression dans la douche et une difficulté à utiliser la clé de la chambre dans les premiers instants.

Slight leak in toilet, didn’t feel luxury!

The apartment was in a stunning location, we absolutely loved to see the sunrise in the morning. The friendly cats, dogs and birds are creating a magical, lovely atmosphere. The accommodation provides kayaks and bikes and it was an absolute pleasure to cycle around the city as well as kayaking in the lagoon: we made unforgettable memories. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is clean, spacious and functional.

Very small things. There was no room service (no refill of potable water, no beds done) but once we asked to please have towels replaced the staff did it the very next day, they were very accommodating! I'm a light sleeper and the fridge and the a/c were a bit noisy during the night, but I managed with earplugs.

Really lovely accomodation in great location at the lagoon. Kayaks and bicycles were included. Really awesome! Some of the furnishings are a bit worn (for the price a small minus point) and the bicycles have never been serviced, which is a bit sad, since they are offered and often used. But we can absolutely recommend the place!!!!!!!

Simply Wow! A magical location surrounded by lush gardens with beautiful lake views, a dock with many hammocks and stairs to access the water. Highly recommend this place and I look forward going back.

Yayum Bacalar is a beautiful place to stay! The direct access to the water is ideal as we saw many other lodging options did not have this. The staff was helpful and very responsive via WhatsApp (we used Google translate to message back and forth in Spanish). The location was great- it was far enough on the end that it was a quiet location. But close enough to walk to all of the restaurants and bars.

The Tapir and Ibis rooms over the lake are gorgeous! but the palapa roof makes them very hot and the A/C is not powerful enough to cool them … pillows could be replaced, the staff on site are very friendly and accommodating. Overall great place to stay, just no frills…

I love the everything from this property just a little more attention in shampoo, toilets paper and kleenex

Excelente atención de los colaboradores, hace falta dar mantenimiento a las bicicletas, pero en general es una gran opción para quedarse a Bacalar.
