Beautiful hotel on the lagoon waterfront with two pools overlooking the lagoon. The restaurant and bar have excellent cocktails and while the food selection may not be expansive the quality and presentation are excellent!

La atencion del cliente debe y puede mejorar bastante, salvo el personal que nos apoyo abriendo el estacionamiento y la señorita que nos atendió en el muelle. Los demás son bastante déspotas. La limpieza de las habitaciones es bastante deficiente. La habitación concentra mucha húmedad lo que hace imposible que se sequen las cosas e incluso puede albergar hongos.

The prices are high compared to other similar locations in Bacalar. $300 pesos for a drink and food was also expensive. You need to review your prices to be more in tune with regular people, otherwise you might end up like Tulum!! Thanks

It’s a gorgeous lagoon and you can jump right in from the docks! Staff friendly, beds so comfy!

One day they were fumigating the property and rooms and wanted everyone to be out of their rooms from 9:30-10:30 PM. They said the product had to be used at night which is fine but how about using it while people are at dinner and not when we are sleeping? We declined since we go to bed early and they made an exception for us, but that was just super late to ask people to be out of their rooms.

J ai beaucoup apprécié la modernité de l hotel ouvert il y a 2 ans et sa situation juste exceptionnelle sur la lagune, permettant de se baigner aussi dans le cenote esmeralda ! La vue est incroyable et l hotel est proche du centre ( 2km) pour accéder aux différents restaurants

Des détails sont encore a améliorer pour le confort, pour la mise a disposition de serviettes de bain qui pourraient etre en libre service dans 1 panier pour eviter d aller en reclamer et etre autonomes 😃 toutes les chaises longues houssées pour les protéger pourraient etre déhoussées plus tot en matinée ( tant pour la vue sur le ponton que pour s y installer ) - nous avons recommandé a l hotel de mettre a disposition au petit dejeuner du the breakfast pour les amateurs de the ( ce qui sera pris en compte )

Perfect spot to stay with direct access to the Lagoon in shallow water, also great to take a boat tour next door (DayTour), super friendly staff

We had an exceptional stay at the Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel, Restaurant & Spa. The team is great, welcomes you with warm perfume towels and fresh infused water, and is always carrying. They booked us exceursions and even offer massage and haircut services, which my fiancée used and was very satisfied with. The room was large, clean, comfortable, luxurious, and the one we had with the laggon view was exceptional. It is 9 min far from the city with car which is very practical and has a parking. The hotel has all the equipments, lands you kanoe and paddle, has a nice restaurant which serves great food, and the view on the lagoon from the pool and the restaurant is stunning. the are two wood pontoons from which you can lie down on sun beds by the laggons, or take paddle and kanoe. This is the best hotel we had during our 15 days trip in the Rieviera Maya and Yucatan.

Das Hotel nennt sich Spa, hat aber gar keine Spa. Eigentlich der Hammer, dass man das einfach so behaupten darf. Das Hotel hat ein Schimmelproblem. Bei Beschwerde über den Gestank wird einem ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, aber nicht etwa ein Upgrade, sondern ein downsize, hä????? Das Problem sei bekannt, man „arbeite“ daran…warum wird dann ein solches Zimmer überhaupt angeboten? Wir müssen die Klimaanlagen nonstop laufen lassen, damit die Klamotten nicht pitschnass werden = Ohrstöpsel tragen! Von außen vollgeschissene Fenster und Balkongeländer, keine Möglichkeit Badeklamotten aufzuhängen.Minibalkon ohne Auflagen auf den wirklich harten Holzstühlen Es handelt sich angeblich um ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Da ich ( auch beruflich) viel in dieser Kategorie Reise auf der ganzen Welt hier ein paar no gos in diesem Haus, die einfach nicht angemessen sind und die in dieser Kategorie nicht akzeptabel sind — kein Fahrstuhl, wir müssen bei der An— und Abreise die Koffer selber die Treppen hoch und runter tragen — Abgezählte Kaffekapseln für einen Tag, danach muss man zahlen — gleiches gilt für die Minibar. Man muss unterschreiben, das man die eigenen Getränke nicht aufbewahren darf! In andern 5 Sternehotels wird die Minibar jeden Tag kostenlos aufgefüllt, Kaffeerefill bekomme ich ja selbst in einem Motel! — das Personal im Restaurant ist bemüht, kann aber nicht mal eine Flasche Wein öffnen. Korken bricht ab, schweineteure Flasche wird aber nicht ersetzt. Es gibt zwar eine Weinkarte, aber Niemand ist in der Lage dazu etwas zu sagen ( ist der Wein trocken?) — eigentlich sieht man außer dem Restaurantpersonal niemanden, die müssen einem sogar die Badehandtücher organisieren — blödes WhatsApp Getue mit teils sinnfreien Nachrichten ( Bild mit einem mir unbekannten Getränk ohne Kommentar) — Begrüssungsdrink: ein Schnapsglas mit Wasser 😂😂😂 Insgesamt eigentlich für den Preis eine Frechheit. Wir haben auf unserem Mexicorundtrip bessere 3 Sternehotels gehabt

L'hôtel est vraiment très bien situé, offrant un parfait accès au Lagoon. Il est appréciable d'avoir à disposition paddle et kayak pour se déplacer sur le Lagoon. Il est à une bonne 20n de minutes de marche du centre de Bacalar où se trouvent d'autres restaurants.

Il manque à mon sens quelques services afin de justifier le prix, pourquoi pas le petit déjeuner ? Le bar/restaurant de l'hôtel est ouvert quasiment toute la journée mais chaque consommation est payante avec demande de Tips systématique. La qualité des fenêtres de la chambre laisse un peu à désirer car celle-ci n'est pas très bien insonorisée, et que les fenêtres présentent des grosses traces (condensation entre les vitres?) obstruant la vue de la chambre.... Les échelles du ponton pour accéder au Lagoon sont couvertes de mousses/vases et sont donc très glissantes, c'est dommage.

La réactivité et la gentillesse du personnel, nous avons prolongé d’une nuit. Le restaurant est superbe, nous y avons dégusté les meilleurs nachos de notre séjour au Mexique! Accès direct au lagon de Bacalar avec pontons et piscines.

El hotel es espectacular, con unas vistas a la laguna desde el restaurante y la piscina increíbles. Las habitaciones están muy nuevas y con camas super grandes. El personal muy atento y amable, tuvimos un percance en el viaje y atendieron a todas nuestras necesidades

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had. Misleading pricing / forced New Year’s Eve dinner: After paying USD $814.65 on Booking.com, we were informed after arrival that there was a mandatory New Year’s Eve dinner charge of USD $153 per person (USD $306 total), which would be charged automatically even if we did not want to eat at the hotel. When we questioned this, the hotel told us via WhatsApp that the charge was included on Booking.com in “small letters” as part of their “contract.” This was never clearly or transparently presented during the booking process. A charge of this size should be clearly highlighted before payment, not justified afterward in fine print. It felt like we were obligated to eat at the hotel on New Year’s Eve, one of the most important nights of the year, when we specifically did not want to be forced into a set dinner. This completely ruined the experience and sense of choice. While at the hotel, other guests shared with us that they experienced the same surprise regarding the mandatory New Year’s Eve charge, confirming this was not an isolated issue. Reception experience (12/31 around 8:00 PM): Upon arrival, the front desk staff member did not look at us, did not greet us, did not ask how our trip was, and did not say any welcoming words. The staff member remained focused on the laptop for about 5 minutes, creating an extremely awkward moment. After a long drive and arriving excited, this felt cold and unprofessional — something that even 3–4 star hotels normally handle much better. Checkout experience: At checkout, we were not asked how our stay was, there was no interest in feedback, and no closing courtesy. Handling of feedback: The hotel created a WhatsApp group chat for communication. When we attempted to calmly share our experience and concerns there, we were REMOVED from the group (see screen shot) without any response or explanation.

Dit hotel heeft alle verwachtingen overtroffen. Het hotel ziet er schitterend uit, de tuin en het zwembad zijn een oase van rust en het uitzicht over de lagoon is fantastisch. Het personeel geeft de klant duidelijk de hoogste prioriteit, staat altijd voor je klaar en geen vraag is te veel.

De kamers waren wat gehorig, dat had beter gekund. Er wordt een WhatsApp groep aangemaakt met de klant en het personeel. Dit werkt heel prettig, maar er wordt wel erg veel reclame in gemaakt voor het restaurant en de spa. De spa is overigens bizar duur.

The smell in the room like humidity was a little intense

Es un lugar excepcional, perfecto. Tanto el personal como la habitación y los servicios de los que dispone. La ubicación inmejorable, aunque está un poco apartado del pueblo, está en plena laguna.

Me gustó todo. No fuimos al restaurante porque para los precios de la zona nos pareció algo caro.

Nice location on the lagoon. Although you can’t see the lagoon from the rooms. Room was nice and bed was big.

The services are not up to standards for a 5-star hotel or for the price paid. It is not good value for money compared to other places in the area. You can definitely find better. Breakfast is not included, and they don’t even specify it, but we found a great spot very close by (Cafe y Algo + dis fruta). They give you coffee capsules in the room for approx. 2.67£ each (~500% markup), which is free in other places in the area. Just overall the services are not what you would expect for the price paid.

L’emplacement était parfait pour ceux qui veulent profiter de l’eau turquoise du lagon. Accès aux pontons qui donnent directement sur le lagon. Possibilité d’utiliser des kayaks et des paddles. En revanche, un peu loin de la ville pour ceux qui n’ont pas de voitures. Le parking est gratuit et situé juste en face de l’hôtel. Très bel hôtel.

Le côté psychorigide de l’hôtel que nous avons appelé « la prison dorée ». Je m’explique : vous êtes plongés dans l’ambiance des l’arrivée avec la carte des interdictions et des amendes, telle un menu de restaurant. Interdiction de grignoter ou de boire des choses non achetée à l’hôtel (sauf dans la chambre), interdiction d’utiliser le frigo pour ses achats personnels (bouteille d’eau), interdiction de plonger du ponton, signer des décharges à chaque fois qu’on utilise un paddle ou un kayak. On se sent constamment surveillé par le personnel… Autres gros points négatifs : pas d’ascenseur Odeur d’humidité dans les chambres et draps humides. La lumière de la salle de bain qui ne cesse de s’allumer toute la nuit Fourmis dans les chambres Pour un hôtel 5 étoiles, le service et les prestations ne sont pas au rendez vous. Notre tapis de bain n’a pas été changé quand le ménage a été fait, nous avons dû aller en demander un nouveau (bof pour un 5 étoiles). Je suis venue l’an dernier à bacalar dans un hôtel 3 étoiles beaucoup moins cher qui finalement était largement à la hauteur de celui ci. Pour le restau, cela reste très cher par rapport aux autres restaurants dans bacalar. Ne vous faites pas avoir.

- Vor dem Aufenthalt wurde man schriftlich belehrt, was man alles nicht darf (z.B. eigene Getränke/Snacks außerhalb des Zimmers mitnehmen oder im Kühlschrank eigene Lebensmittel lagern) und wie dies mit Geldstrafen sanktioniert wird. Dies mussten wir unterschrieben. Das fanden wir total unangebracht und übertrieben und unentspannt. Man fühlt sich sofort kontrolliert und eingeschränkt. Vorallem weil die Preise dort sehr hoch sind. - Kein Frühstück im Zimmerpreis enthalten

Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und größtenteils sauber, lediglich ein paar Flecken auf dem Spannbettlaken trübten den ersten Eindruck etwas. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der direkte Zugang zur Lagune – inklusive kostenloser Kajaks, was wirklich ein Highlight des Aufenthalts war. Auch die Lage zum Stadtzentrum ist akzeptabel und gut machbar.

Der größte Kritikpunkt ist jedoch das Geschäftsmodell des Hotels, das stark auf maximalen Profit ausgelegt wirkt. Bereits beim Check-in muss man eine lange Liste an Verboten unterschreiben. Der Minibar-Kühlschrank darf nicht einmal für eigene Getränke genutzt werden, was einen quasi dazu zwingt, die überteuerten Produkte aus der Minibar zu konsumieren. Für den Preis des Hotels hätte ich außerdem zumindest kostenlosen Kaffee im Zimmer erwartet. Stattdessen erhält man nur zwei Kapseln – jede weitere kostet 90 Pesos pro Stück, was in meinen Augen absolute Abzocke ist. Auch das Restaurant versucht, gehobene Küche anzubieten, ruft dafür aber Spitzenpreise auf, die in keiner Weise gerechtfertigt sind. Wir haben an nur zwei von fünf Tagen dort gegessen. Das Essen war gut, aber seinen Preis definitiv nicht wert. Gleiches gilt für die Cocktails, die preislich viel versprechen, geschmacklich aber nicht mithalten können. Insgesamt ist es wirklich schade um die schöne Anlage. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Management hingegen ruiniert mit seinen überzogenen Preisvorstellungen und einer angestrebten Qualität, die schlicht nicht geliefert wird, das Gesamtbild.

House keepers entered our suite even when we had DO NOT DISTUB SIGN on the door. First time they closed curtsins and going through our things. 2nd time today at 1130am when I walked to car. My partner was in the bathroom without knocking the door. Suite smell like mold and we could hearc our neighbour snoring ALL night long. We want refund on this stay as hotel did NOT meet safety standards. I can send pictures of house keepers in our suite 30 minutes after we checked in last night at 615pm and after we walked down to the pool. We would have stayed for 2/3 more days. But will NOT. SAFETY REASON

Tolles Hotel mit sehr schönem Steg, welcher von allen umliegenden Hotels bei weitem am längsten in der Sonne liegt. Das Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Alles so schön wie auf den Bildern.

Wenn es etwas zu bemängeln gibt, dann höchstens, dass die Zimmer leicht hellhörig sind.

Aire acondicionado, habitación limpia, cortesías desde el primer minuto, propia planta de luz y un servicio excepcional por todos y cada uno de los colaboradores.

El personal muy amable, cálida atención. Fácil acceso a la laguna, la estancia incluye algunas actividades acuáticas lo que lo hace muy conveniente. Hotel tranquilo al ser solo adultos.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön direkt am See. Mein Zimmer hatte direkten Seeblick und war sehr gut ausgestattet mit Nespresso-Maschine (4 Kapseln sind inkludiert) und Kühlschrank. Alles war blitzsauber. Das Personal war extrem hilfsbereit, freundlich und professionell. Ich habe zweimal im Restaurant gegessen, Service war sehr gut und sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren sehr gut.

Während des Tages ankern periodisch Ausflugsboote ca. 50 m weg vom Hotel, weil dort eine sehr schöne Lagune zum Baden ist. Das ist mit lauter Boom-Box Musik und Partyatmosphäre verbunden. Das ist keine Kritik am Hotel, weil das ausser der Kontrolle des Hotels ist, aber sollte trotzdem erwähnt werden. Es handelt sich hier um ein sehr hochwertiges Hotel mit hochwertigen Produkten, die Preise sind im Restaurant entsprechen also europäischen Preisen.

Excelente atención por parte del personal, están atentos a cualquier necesidad, el restuarante ofrece una variedad de platillos muy bien lograda con una fusión entre lo local y lo contemporaneo, todo muy rico. Las instalaciones muy comodas y con una excelente vista y acceso a la laguna.

Es un hote muy limpio, cuidado y con una excelente atención, la comida es genial y esta muy bien ubicado

La ubicación es perfecta porque está al frente de la laguna en una zona donde es fácil nadar, además te dan paddleboards y kayak. El servicio es excelente porque crean un WhatsApp donde puedes escribirles 24 horas. La comida del restaurante es riquísima. Tienen que probar la hamburguesa smashed y el rissoto. Excelente atención de esperanza. Te llevan la comida y tragos al muelle. Todavía no tiene spa pero tendrá desde fines de octubre así que eso será un plus. Es relajante, no tiene discoteca ni bar con música pero creo que la vibra de Bacalar es así porque buscamos y no encontramos. Además te ayudan a contactar taxis y tours. No tienen tours propios pero nos ayudaron con todo. Volvería de todas maneras.

Excelente atención y servicio. Las instalaciones muy nuevas y en buen estado, vista espectaular a la laguna. La comida en el restaurante es de buena calidad pero un poco elevados los precios, existen otras opciones para comer muy cerca a precios mas accesibles. Si desean disfrutar de la laguna en catamaran, hay un muelle a solo 4 locales del hotel que ofrece esos servicios (Casa China).La atención de todo el personal es insuperable, los felicito sigan así. Volveremos a alojarnos pronto.

la ubicacion, excelente acceso a la laguna

Es un hotel limpio, bonitas habitaciones que son amplias y el personal se esmera demasiado en que estés cómodo. Sin duda la fortaleza del hotel es su personal. El restaurante la verdad todo muy rico. La posición en la laguna es privilegiada ya que es como una alberca gigante natural y ademas incluye préstamo de kayaks. El servicio a la habitación maravilloso con el sistema de WhatsApp que tienen implementado.

La relación del costo por lo que obtienes, la calidad es muy buena en todo, pero me deja esa sensación que por el costo mejor me hubiera ido a otro destino con un todo incluido de buena categoría. Y si solo vas a bacalar algunos días como mi caso pues mejor considerar otra opción, porque de todas formas te ves obligado a salir del hotel a desayunar, comer o cenar a otro lado y no está tan cerca del centro por lo que si vas en plan descanso vas a tener que pedir taxis ya que caminando son 30 min solo de ida. Si se te acaban cosas como el enjuague bucal que te colocan, en cualquier otro hotel al hacer la limpieza te lo reponen de manera automática y acá no, igual y solo tenía que pedirlo y me lo reponían, pero como insisten tanto en que casi todo tiene costo adicional pues mejor ya no pregunté, al final me da igual pagarlo (entiendo que las cosas cuestan) pero siendo vacaciones lo que menos quiero es que se la pasen diciéndome que me van a cobrar hasta por respirar 1 min más en el lugar como lo hacen saber desde que llegas y eso estoy seguro es politica del hotel porque repito, el personal es increible.

No disponen de lavandería. Nos avisaron de que no estaba permitido colocar ropa en el balcón de la habitación por imagen del hotel, incluidos los bañadores. El servicio de limpieza a la habitación se retrasó a las 15.45h, cuando el horario (según informaron) era de 10 a 15h. La comunicación por WhatsApp esta bien para que el cliente se pueda comunicar sin ir a recepción, pero creo que no es necesario que el hotel envíe fotos de platos de la carta del hotel durante el dia. La comida del restaurante está muy buena, pero los precios son altos para la cantidad que ponen. ESTE HOTEL NO INCLUYE DESAYUNO EN NINGUNA RESERVA, con lo que, teniendo en cuenta los precios, 1 desayuno para 2 px (2 bebidas y 2 platos) es de 30-35€ + propina. Fuera del hotel hay un sitio para desayunar por 15€ 2px y mejores cantidades. El personal del restaurante a veces fue poco profesional, se iban a hablar a la puerta del restaurante y tuvimos que avisarles un par de veces para la cuenta porque estaban hablando y riéndose. En otra ocasión no me importaría, en un 5 estrellas si. En una ocasión, el personal de recepción no me miró a la cara (estaba con el teléfono) mientras le informaba de que había una luz rota en uno de sus muelles. Esto no es culpa del hotel, pero le quita encanto que las excursiones en barco de la laguna hagan parada justo delante de sus muelles con la música alta, cuando la laguna en sí es super silenciosa y tranquila.

Our stay at Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel Restaurant & SPA was absolutely wonderful. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lagoon that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless – the rooms, common areas, and pool were all kept immaculately clean, which really added to the comfort of our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the warm check-in experience to the attentive service throughout our stay, every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuine. They were always available to answer questions or provide recommendations, and their hospitality made us feel truly cared for. We also loved the on-site restaurant. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and offered a nice variety of dishes alittle overpriced but delicious food and nice presentation. It was a highlight of our stay to enjoy delicious meals while overlooking the lagoon. Overall, Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and outstanding service. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return!

Loved everything from clean to updated, with unbelievable views of the lagoon, the staff is just amazing, their restaurant has a very delicious fresh great section of food and drinks. Cristalino will definitely return with joy knowing the paradise and peace you have to offer.

Location stupenda con il miglior affaccio sulla laguna. Pontile e lettini spettacolari. Ristorante buono con prezzi più alti ma con materie prime di qualità.

Nulla aggiungerei solo delle docce sul pontile ma non ho commenti negativi

Es un excelente hotel Tiene acceso privado a parte de la laguna de espectacular color turquesa y se mantiene del mismo nivel por más de 300m A la izquierda un cenote de 80m de profundidad

Tengan cuidado con este hotel. Terrible experiencia con el trato en este Hotel ya que con engaños nos robaron el dinero pagado por la estancia. Mi error, no haber leído la letra chiquita y llegue con un bebe de 1 año. Tenia reservadas dos habitaciones, en cuanto vieron al bebe, inició el mal trato, cortantes me dijeron que no aceptaban niños y que pidiera mi reembolso a Expedia, me retiraron el agua que me habían dado y me urgieron a irme. Tramite mi reembolso con Expedia y el hotel se negó a hacer la devolución de los 2,331.88 USD que pagué. No me regresaron un solo dólar, se robaron todo mi dinero.

Nuestro 30 aniversario. Solo el piso de la ducha se vuelve resbaloso , sugiero poner una agarredera dentro de ducha para seguridad del huésped, sin importar edad. Todo lo demás maravilloso.

Vine con mi novia y nos gustó mucho la habitación; espaciosa y limpia, y el restaurante; platillos deliciosos y creativos, además de que el personal es muy amable. Es un hotel perfecto para estancias cortas.

Es un gran lugar, la atención es increíble, el personal de 10 mut detallista, el lugar es increíble!!!!!!! LO MEGA RECOMIENDO
