The ceiling fan made a bit of noise, and being a particularly hot night, we struggled a little with our cooling options.

Don’t come for the decor and expect Asian bathrooms (shower and toilet in same room, albeit not too small).

Хозяева - очень приятные и отзывчивые люди. Чисто! Светлый, уютный, стильный номер, есть балкон и кухня. В номере утюг, фен, кран с питьевой водой. Расположение в тихом переулке, рядом супермаркет, ну и вообще - центр, но никаких улиц с барами и шумной ночной жизнью под боком.

Ну, разве что хотелось бы жить повыше, а не на втором этаже ) И вторую тумбочку рядом с кроватью.

The location was good. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Our host was amazingly helpful even before we arrived & helped with local recommendations for restaurants & travel. He went out of his way to help find me somewhere to get a birthday cake for my friend. Great place.. highly recommend.

Great host, always ready to help with anything you need whether suggestions or itinerary or recommendations. Stayed up late to accommodate a late checkin well past midnight and made it easy for us helping with the luggage etc. Nice and big room with enough space to accommodate lot of luggage, comfortable bed and amenities.

The bathroom shower area does not have proper place to store stuff and change of clothes and also gets wet after shower. This is a general problem we observed in most such places in Vietnam. A slight discomfort and not really such a big issue.

Everything. The rooms only lacked a sea/ mountain view. The veranda with electric remote controlled blinds plus blackout curtains. Heaven Everything needed was provided and anything I wanted was provided by extremely helpful host. Close to excellent restraints and coffee shops and short grab ride to city centre.

I have stayed at this boutique hotel twice. While the first stay was without major incident, the rooms suffer from a total lack of natural sunlight, and the beds are so excessively firm that we woke up with stiff backs. The second stay was a disaster. While trying to rest on the third floor, we were subjected to two hours of relentless crashing and dragging sounds from above. Management stonewalled us for an hour before finally admitting the laundry room, storage room, and three working maids are located directly above guest sleeping quarters. We were moved to the second floor, only to find the air conditioner was broken on a 35°C day. Management could not fix it, forcing us to leave the property at 7:00 PM during a holiday. Despite this being their technical failure, the manager tried to withhold 30% of our refund as a "usage fee" for the hours we spent in the heat. To add insult to injury, they later sent an SMS claiming we were "too sensitive to noise" to avoid admitting their own poor building design. This place has good reviews, but be careful: the moment something goes wrong, they will lie to avoid accountability.

住宿地点一尘不染光可鉴人，地理位置优越，在居民区里闹中取静，旁边有很多餐厅，价廉物美，在这里吃到了非常好吃的铁板牛肉法棍比滨城市场旁边的网红店好吃太多而且便宜不少。房东热情好客人情味十足，推荐大家都来这里居住会有宾至如归的感觉。

It’s a beautiful home and the host is so friendly and knowledgeable! The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It’s on a quiet cul de sac so it’s very peaceful. There are lots of good places to eat!

It’s not a dislike at all, there are no downsides. . It’s a disclaimer. If you want to a super lively experience, this area is a bit sleepier than other district 1 spots but a $1 Grab to whoop it up.

Absolutely one of the best value-for-monies properties in Saigon. The location is fantastic and the staff are super friendly. Even though there are no elevators, the staff will definitely help you with your luggage. The drinking water from the tap is definitely a huge plus.

The shower being so close to the bathroom does make using the toilet a little uncomfortable at times. But really this is slim pickings.

Perfect location, clean, quiet (as quiet as can be in Ho Chi Minh). The room had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The staff was absolutely great, helped us with everything we needed - bags, laundry, etc. Highly recommended!

I can't thank Tu enough for his warm and caring hospitality. He kept in constant contact, making sure I knew exactly how to get to his place. He made suggestions (great ones) about places to visit . His recommended places to eat and drink coffee spoilt me for the rest of Vietnam. The accommodation was very spacious, comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The location is convenient for getting around, and in a quiet area. If you're on a budget, the #52 bus is 4 minutes' walk, and it goes directly to and from the airport (T2, next to the free shuttle to other terminals) for VND 5000! You may have to pay another VND 5000 for big luggage. I think the bus runs until 7 p.m. Totally recommend this place.

The location in a quiet laneway was fantastic. The local community were very friendly and it was easy to find good food and great coffee. Our host Tu was extremely helpful and attention to detail was perfect. Appreciated dual water filter system in our room to reduce plastic waste.

The property is in a great location,walking distance from the major attractions but in a quiet neighbourhood. It was spotlessly clean with large and spacious rooms. Tu, who runs the homestay is an amazing person, so kind and helpful. He was always available to answer any questions. I recommend this homestay 110%.

Super accueil de Tù qui nous a attendu jusqu’à 2h30 du matin. Contact par whatsapp efficace et rapide. Il nous a présenté le logement qui est très très très propre. Confortable pour 3 et bien équipés on y fait que dormir. Les lits sont assez fermes, on a très bien dormi. Eau filtrée dans le logement c’est un vrai plus. Bon emplacement dans le district 1, il y a un mini mart à 2 minutes à pied ouvert 24/24, de quoi manger et boire dans les alentours. Déplacement vers les lieux d’interêt par grab ou à pied. Si je reviens à HCM je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Host Merwin was great.

L'emplacement est dans une ruelle au calme mais très proche de la ville et au milieu des locaux, très agréable. Le monsieur qui tiens les chambres était particulièrement gentil et prêt a vous aider et vous guider. L'établissement est très propre Un séjour parfait !!!

Everything! The host was a delight, and could not have been more helpful. We only stayed one night to break up travel plans, but the location is great, in a quiet alley far enough away from the noiser parts of district one, but still in easy walking distance for food, nightlife, etc. We had the Chicago room with a separate kitchen area, this included a filtered drinking water tap, which is so refreshing to see a move away from plastic bottles. There was also a kettle, fridge, and microwave oven.

We loved this accommodation, the staff was amazing and helpful, the room was pristine clean and just about spatious enough. The location was good, cheap Grab into the city was available. The room even had filtered drinking water which was actually safe to drink!

The pillows were quite thick, which made them uncomfortable.

there were so many ants in the sink for half of the days I was there, but I didn’t mind them and just washed them down the drain.

Mycket trevligt mottagande och vi fick en massa hjälp och tips. Smidigt och prisvärt att lämna in tvätten på morgonen och ha den ren och vikt sen på kvällen utanför dörren. Vi tog Grab för det mesta och det tog ca 10 minuter från boendet till olika turistmål och restauranger. Trevligt kvarter.

We had the best sleep in a month traveling around Vietnam. Soft bed and pillows, the cleanest hotel we have seen. Great location, close to the city center but in a quiet street. They helped us to arrange bus tickets to our next destination and all was smooth. If we go back to the city, we will definitely stay again.

Il y a pour tous les logements une kitchenette, équipée d'un robinet filtrant. L'hôte, Thu, est vraiment formidable de gentillesse et de soutien !

Sehr hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter, antwortet super schnell und freundlich und spricht super Englisch. Ruhig gelegen, alles sehr sauber, großes Apartment. Wäscheservice zu gutem Preis, sehr zu empfehlen. Insgesamt top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Trinkwasser in Küche, wodurch man nicht ständig neue Flaschen Wasser kaufen muss.

Ein Duschvorhang wäre super gewesen. Bei uns im Zimmer hat die Belüftungsanlage (?) meinen Freund nachts öfter wachwerden lassen. Ob man diese in anderen Zimmern auch hört, wissen wir nicht

Absolutely everything!!! Really super clean and excellent facilities. Super friendly and genuine family feel to the owners. Mervin helped us book onward travel and gave advice for sightseeing/tours and NYE fireworks. Bed was really comfy, rooms large, air con, fridge, balcony, good shower. Location in my opinion is perfect - close enough to the activity/restaurants/shops but far away enough so it feels peaceful and residential.

Ce homestay est un cocon de calme (au fond d'une impasse), un trésor de confort, une merveille d'élégance. Notre chambre +cuisine était magnifique, et l'emplacement dans le district 1 est à distance proche de bcp de points d'intérêt. L'accueil par Thu est attentionné, prévenant, sympathique et ses conseils sont avisés. Un lieu exceptionnel à réserver très vite !

We really liked the apartment - it was well equipped for our short stay. It was clean and nice. The owner was very helpful and kind, always ready to help us! We loved our stay there.

Bathroom was getting a bit wet as there was no curtain on the shower, but I know this is a standard in Vietnam so I consider it only a minor inconvenience.

We absolutely adored staying here! We stayed twice on both trips to HCMC! Right next to a little shop and near to main attractions, lovely comfortable bed. The host is absolutely amazing and offers lots of help and suggestions on main things to do and see in and outside the city! Love love love

So clean! They have thought of lots of little things to make it a great stay. Filtered water is a massive plus, which meant not having to buy water. They had blockers under the door so bugs couldn't crawl under. Tucked away in a cute little alleyway, surrounded by locals with a great vibe. Such a quiet location with so many delicious local food places to try. Laundry service made life easy. Great communication too.
