We had a truly exceptional stay at Prim&Proper. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and we had such a relaxing time. I would especially like to highlight the wonderful staff, who showed genuine interest in our stay and welcomed us in such a warm, personal and attentive way. Their hospitality made us feel truly cared for. The breakfast was also excellent. I would definitely return for another romantic getaway in beautiful Porto. The hotel’s location is perfect for walking and exploring the city, with many excellent restaurants nearby. We also really appreciated the recommendations from the staff on places to visit and things to see. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! :)

Die Unterkunft war schön zentral gelegen, alles zu fuss erreichbar, zahlreiche Restaurants, Bars etc. Das Zimmer war traumhaft schön mit einer tollen Aussicht. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und haben tolle Tipps gegeben, was wir unbedingt sehen sollten. Frühstück ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder! Große Empfehlung. :-)

TOP locatie, goed gelegen tov het centrum. Super lekker ontbijt, geserveerd volgens een tof concept (geen buffet), bediening aan tafel. Welkomsdrankje, inclusief tapasplankje was super tof !

1 klein minpuntje : omwille van een excursie, moesten wij 1 dag vroeg vertrekken (voor het ontbijt). Er werd wel gezorgd voor een alternatief : de avond voordien werd een ontbijtpakketje geleverd op onze kamers. Dit was echter zeer miniem : 1 flesje fruitsap, 1 koffiepad, 1 croissant + confituur / persoon. Wat dan wel weer positief was : bij de vraag of er misschien een extra croissant per persoon kon voorzien worden, werd dit onmiddellijk uitgevoerd.

Porto’daki konaklamamızın en güzel parçalarından biri kesinlikle Prim&Proper’dı. Odamız oldukça geniş, ferah ve çok zevkli tasarlanmıştı. Dekorasyondaki detaylar ve genel atmosfer sayesinde insan sıradan bir otelde değil, gerçekten özel bir yerde kalıyormuş gibi hissediyor. Tasarımını oldukça ilham verici bulduk. Kahvaltıyı da çok sevdik. Her şey çok taze, özenli ve gerçekten lezzetliydi. Hem sunum hem de kalite açısından oldukça başarılıydı. Genel olarak Prim&Proper; tasarımı, konforu, atmosferi ve güzel kahvaltısıyla Porto’da çok keyif aldığımız bir yer oldu. Tekrar Porto’ya gelirsek yeniden kalmayı kesinlikle düşünürüz.

Lage fast zentral. Altstadt bequem fußläufig zu erreichen. Große Auswahl an Gastro in direkter Umgebung. 10 Min. zufuß zur Metrostation Bolhão. Zimmer großartig. Wir hatten 4.1 mit Balkon. Hotel hat nur neun Zimmer. Absolut empfehlenswert. Frühstück a la Carte mit toller Auswahl. Zubereitung dauert dann halt ein wenig. Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Parken ein wenig schwierig. Hotel hat Cooperation mit Parkhaus Central. Knapp 100 m entfernt. An der Rezeption gibt es dazu ein 20% Rabattvoucher. Parkhaus recht eng. Platz nicht garantiert. Parken aber auch in einer Tiefgarage unmittelbar an dem Platz beim Hotel möglich. 72 Std. Ticket kostet € 50.

The numerous breakfast options were generous and very nicely presented. Really good compared to many other hotels. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Also liked the 'recommendation' sheet they provided for local restaurants and tourist spots. Location was close enough to the centre to be convenient but far enough away to escape a bit of the hustle and bustle.

Beds were a tad uncomfortable - could really do with much better mattresses. Also noticed the 'balcony' hadn't been cleaned and there were cigarette butts left there. Rest of the room was fine, but that was a little disappointing.

Staff are welcoming and friendly.

Unfortunately, while the hotel is beautifully designed, our room showed clear signs of neglect. The bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned, we had a cold shower one evening when the pump failed, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, and the shampoo/body wash dispensers were broken with handwritten biro labels identifying the contents. We also received conflicting information about irons/steamers, and only one complimentary coffee was provided for our entire stay. Overall, the room felt tired and fell well short of what you’d expect from a ‘designer/boutique’ hotel. As returning guests, this was particularly disappointing, and sadly we won’t be choosing to to stay again.

The made-to order breakfast in the cafe was very nice. The people there were very nice and attentive.

The rooms could use drawers to put away clothes. The modernist bathroom was not very functional. Having a glass door to the toilet just make it seem you're sitting in a lit up terrarium and provides no privacy. The floor of the shower tilts toward and door and away from the drain, so it ends up flooding the bathroom because the shower floor fills with water and overflow.

El personal es super cercano, amable y muy atentos en todo momento. El desayuno es muy completo, con varias opciones y todo buenísimo y cocinado al momento. La ubicación es perfecta para ir andando a cualquier parte de OPorto y además muy tranquila para descansar por la noche. La habitación muy nueva, todo muy cuidado y cama cómoda. Sin duda un 10!

Stylish hotel decor, helpful and polite staff, good location, lovely little breakfast restaurant with an honestly bar system, freshly cooked breakfasts to order. Good soundproofing in room. Comfortable beds and good quality linens / pillows, useful kitchenette and good hot water pressure.

Honestly, the aspects we didn't like were not the fault of the staff. Rather it was the design and lighting of the individual rooms. Definitely a case of "form over function".. The room looked fabulous, until you had to use it. Bathroom way too dark, shower that didn't drain due to the slope of the floor, tinted glass mirrors made shaving or applying make-up near impossible. And the glass door on the toilet? Just plain weird. No idea if all rooms are decorated in the same way.

Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard. The decor is very tastefully done. Amenities including a mini kitchen in the room a real bonus. The location is excellent for exploring the main tourist areas. There are many bars and restaurants within a five minute walk. Breakfast was included and cooked to order each morning in the basement bar/restaurant and very tasty. All the staff we dealt with during our stay were very professional and really friendly.

We were in a front facing room third floor which did suffer from some road noise in the early hours. The street is one way and is cobbled like many in Porto. This creates additional tyre noise.

Beautifully presented studio with quality fittings.

Just to be really picky, the tap above the bathroom basin was too low meaning you could barely rinse your hands. Also the fall in the shower was away from the drain causing a flooded area. Having said that the actual rain shower (head) was excellent!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse - super super laut und recht unansehliche Strasse mit viel Verkehr und nächtlichem Geschrei mit vielen Betrunkenen und Parties. Wechsel des Zimmers hat nicht geklappt.

I have such a great stay here for my solo trip! I will definitely recommend. The staff were so lovely and accommodating.

Loved everything about this property! The room was amazing. Stayed in room 1.1 the balcony was a 10+. The room was clean. The best part about my stay was the breakfast.

Es war nicht sauber, Zustand des Zimmers war abgewohnt, Wasser in Dusche nicht richtig abgeflossen, Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt, Gutschein für Parkhaus hat nicht funktioniert

Good location with easy walking access to the centre. Room was large with nice doors opening out onto the street. Bed was huge and comfy. Breakfast was fresh and cooked to order, although service was slow at times.

Kitchenette could benefit from a kettle. Fridge was dirty on arrival and the kitchenette sponge was used, which was pretty gross. The room itself was dark and lacked practical lighting. Our biggest issue was with the shower - water didn’t drain and flooded the room, which meant we either had to stop the flow every minute or so, or use with a very low pressure. We mentioned it on our first night and were told it would be sorted for us, but it was no different - we removed the drain cover ourselves to find the plug hole filled with grime and hair. This was really inconvenient and we wouldn’t stay again for this reason alone. Bathroom layout was unusual and it lacked practical space for any guest toiletries. Housekeeping was inconsistent - towels were taken but not replaced, rubbish was not taken away, dirty mugs and plates were just put straight back into the cupboard and the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, it appeared that the bed was just made.

I loved my stay at Prim & Proper. My room was absolutely perfect, a wonderful view and a great bath. It's tucked away in a discreet townhouse and the perfect location for getting around. The staff were also lovely, I will definitely be back!
