Breakfast options are good for non-vegetarians but limited for vegetarians. However, the location is great, very near the night market that happens every weekend, Friday to Sunday nights.

The location is perfect: right in the city centre, but the room was surprisingly quiet. The rooms are spacious, cosy, clean and beautifully designed. We especially loved the pool and the absolutely delicious breakfast. The staff were wonderful and very kind to our child. All the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. One of the staff members even received a drawing from our 6-year-old and gave him a lovely little gift when we checked out, which was such a sweet gesture. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Hanoi, this was definitely our favourite.

The only thing that was disappointing was the additional charge for our child sharing the bed with us. We had booked the room for two adults and one child, but this additional charge was not mentioned on Booking.com. It was around VND 500,000 per night, so it wasn’t a huge amount, but it was still unexpected and unpleasant at check-in. I think this should be clearly stated on Booking.com or included in the room price from the beginning.

The rooms were very nice and clean, we enjoyed the gym and the swimming pool. The staff were incredibly nice and allowes us to use the facilities after the checkout. We kept our suitcases in the hotel and walked in Hanoi a long time after the chekout, they even offered us some drinks even though we were no longer guests. Highly recommended, we will be cominv back!

Very good hotel We traveled with an 11months old baby and have found this hotel very good for a family with infant. We had a junior suite and it was spacious enough to store/have a pram, a big luggage, backpack and have a baby bed as well as high chair. Plenty of space for baby to crawl around. The pool is very good to use with baby too. Breakfast buffet is great, plenty of options. Staff is super helpful and amenities, aesthetic is very pleasant. Location is great if you want to be near the lake with the night market. Only the roads are not super pram friendly in this area, but this was to be expected.

Medewerkers waren aardig, vooral kort meisje met bril, helaas weten wij haar naam niet. En bedden waren echt top! Dichtbij vele dingen.

Het was erg gehorig. Boven buren waren aan t wippen, je hoorde alles beneden, was niet fijn met een kind dat aan te horen. Wc rollen werd niet optijd aangevuld.

Dette var vårt første møte med Vietnam og vi kunne ikke valgt et bedre hotell. Det har fantastisk beliggenhet i gamlebyen. Hotellet var et behagelig sted å slappe av mellom øktene. Vi prøvde både bassenget og La spa som begge var helt supre. Personalet var imøtekommende og svært vennlige. Frokost var veldig delikat.

Such a wonderfull experience. Location is great to discover Hanoi, Room are clean and mattress very comfy. The staff is exeptional, very usefull, friendly, they will help with everything and even organise travel for ha long bay and much more. The SPA was very good to relax on Swimming pool nice on hot days. Breakfast complete and for every taste. The stay was 5 stars and more. I highly recommend this hotel for you stay. You can go and never be disappointed.

I loved everything about La Siesta, great location, breakfast was decent and the room was a nice set up for two. Plenty of space. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They gave us great recommendations for dinner and getting around. Customer service was first class. The downside frok my perspective was the gym. It was terrible to be honest. To say it was basic would be an understatement. I had to hunt down a local gym. If you are a bunny bunny, bear this in mind.

Awesome spot easy access. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Shower was large and plenty of pressure.

Everything was great, welcoming staff, makes you feel at home and everything is clean and fancy. When you leave they can keep your luggage and you can come back and shower if need before your flight. Amazing experience

Room was clean and comfortable. View was fantastic, everything was in fantastic condition. Free water was appreciated considering how humid the country is in summer. Staff went above and beyond, were incredibly polite, helpful, and even recognised us at the door. Pool was clean, warm, and not crowded. The restaurant food was delicious, and the pancakes were especially good.

The restaurant menu for lunch and dinner (not included in room price) was pricey, especially considering meals at local restaurants will cost you a quarter of the price. Don't plan to eat there unless you want to run $25-$35 AUD per person per meal.

The service and attention to detail are exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to look after your needs and, despite English being a tougher language for them, all the staff make the effort to converse and learn through interaction with guests.

I have no complaints.

La Siesta Classic Hang Thung is the only place to stay Hanoi. The location is great, the hotel is beautiful but the staff are truly what makes the hotel our favourite hotel in the world. We stayed for 5 weeks for medical treatment in Hanoi and this place became our home and the staff our family. Every single staff member is kind, friendly, thoughtful from the Hotel Manger, reception staff, kitchen staff, chefs, doormen barista's, housekeeping all of them. We cant wait to go back and spend some more time with our La Siesta family. We cannot thank them enough for making our time there special.

The team at this hotel is just amazing and they can’t do enough for you, especially Nang Tran and the other front desk lady, also with glasses who works with her (so sorry I forget her name)!Their service comes from their hearts. They made our experience so special. They bathed and disinfected a cut I sustained on my foot with such care and put a plaster on it for me. The ladies in the sauna are also lovely, smiley too and very professional. We will definitely be back another year because of this outstanding service.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location with truly outstanding staff. Breakfast is superb, the spa team are delightful, and the reception staff are simply excellent. When my daughter damaged her dress, the reception team had it sorted immediately — nothing is ever too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The pool feels like a little oasis in the heart of the city, offering a refreshing escape. We will definitely return and are already looking forward to experiencing the sister hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you for a truly memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung. Everything was exactly as described and shown in the photos. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we would especially like to thank Ngan Tran, who was always smiling, kind and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of both Vietnamese and Western options. The swimming pool was perfect for cooling down after exploring Hanoi. My wife and daughter also enjoyed a spa treatment, and they were very happy with both the experience and the lovely staff. We highly recommend this hotel.

I had an extremely pleasant stay with La Siesta!! The receptionists are very helpful and welcoming and it always feels good to return to the hotel. Its located relatively near to old quarter main street and the spa in the hotel is amazing. We loved the gym as well as its mostly empty during lunchtime and we got to use the bluetooth speakers and tv while we gym. The breakfast buffet was delicious too and the staffs in the restaurant are helpful in guiding us what are the available spread in the buffet. Will definitely go back to stay!!

We had a very pleasant stay at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung. The staff were all very friendly, polite, and easy to communicate with in English, which made our stay very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was also delicious. We also tried the 60-minute head spa, which was very relaxing and enjoyable. We got 20% off during happy hour, so it felt like a great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to try another hotel from the La Siesta group next time we’re in Hanoi.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung Hotel in a Junior Suite. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection, and the pool was fantastic. Most importantly, all of the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, especially Dean, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Stayed in the Owners suite, which had a nice large balcony. Superb breakfast. Refreshing pool.

Window soundproofing could be a little better with outside construction and highway noise. To be expected in Hanoi, unfortunately.

Breakfast was great, we were late (5 mins before breakfast ended) once and the staff immediately took our orders and made sure we found a table swiftly. The following days the breakfast was always great. Staff offered to book us a taxi to airport, which was comfortable, and cheaper than the grab rates. The spa is fantastic. Great to have a pool. All the hotel's facilities were great really.

We got to the hotel late in the evening and didn't get a welcome drink, which was totally fine, but perhaps vouchers could be handed out to people so they can have one the next day, in the future. Loungers by the pool would be nice!

Staff were warm and welcoming. We were upgraded FOC to the big family room where all of us can stay together in one room. It was such a pleasant experience.

Hospitality by the staff was 5 star ! They arranged a cab back for us to airport knowing we had slight issues with the soundproofing of the room.

We were travelling with 2 kids and had booked connecting rooms but they were already given out to another family. So we had to stay in 2 separate rooms. Not much of an inconvenience but not what we had booked.

Lo staff è la parte migliore. Tutti disposti ad aiutare, sempre con un sorriso, ci hanno fatto sentire accolti. La posizione strepitosa, vicinissimo all'old quarter ma in una strada non rumorosa. I letti COMODISSIMI!! L'aria condizionata in camera funziona benissimo e è importante dato che fuori fa caldissimo.

Non è molto importante , ma mi piacerebbe avere la possibilità di ordinare room service anche durante la notte, credo che gli orari sono un po' limitati

Прекрасное местоположение, персонал приветливый, но во вторую бронь после возвращения с круиза у меня был номер, где при хождении людей сверху дребезжал шкаф, я пробовала открыть двери шкафа, но особо не помогло, а окна выходили не во внутреннюю часть отеля, а к соседям - частным лицам, у них была собака, которая все время лаяла, в комнату проникал запах курева,, и разговоры, я оставляла на хранение чемодан в отеле, и к сожалению, они поставили на мой чемодан сверху ещё чемодан, корпус треснул в верхней части, очень благодарна персоналу за организацию ремонта (в мастерской заклеили клеем) и компенсацию 20 долларов, мне как раз пригодились для упаковки чемодана пленкой, иначе он мог бы треснуть в месте поломки и вещи вывалились, в итоге хватило на 2 обертывания в аэропорту Ханоя и в Камбодже они. буквально спасли меня, очень хорошо, что персонал отреагировал, но мне пришлось купить новый за 150 долларов и заплатить за утилизацию старого 20 долларов (а Японии, где я живу, утилизация платная)
