Landmark 81 Residence - La Vague

You must avoid booking this property at all costs. They will cancel on your arrival and offer substandard alternative accommodation at the same cost. They will offer you a full refund if you want to cancel your booking, but then what are you supposed to do with your family at 10pm at night. The rooms shown on the advert on Expedia are not what you get, you get whatever they choose to give you. They will make up excuses of plumbing problems and we witnessed a few other customers being treated in the same way. On day two they changed our room to the 7th floor, which we found out was illegal in that block. Only long term lets and residents can stay on lower floors. The apartment reception staff refused us entry and threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave the premises. It took us over 2 hours of negotiations to retrieve our bags from our room, before we left the premises to find another hotel for our last night in South Vietnam. The company refused to refund our third night in full. Please book another apartment and create happy memories for your family time in Vietnam.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at Landmark 81 in Vietnam. The listing was completely misleading and the experience was far from what was promised. One of the main reasons we chose this unit was because it advertised having a washer and dryer in the unit. We were looking forward to cleaning our clothes after a long trip around Asia. While there was a dryer present, it was left unplugged on the balcony with no available outlet, making it completely unusable. When asked about it, the owner sent a middle-man to provide us broken drying stands to air dry our clothes. The guest bathroom had visible mold in the sink caulk, and throughout the stay we encountered multiple bugs, including tiny cockroaches. Because of how unsanitary the unit felt, we didn’t even feel comfortable using the provided toiletries and bought our own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Ultimately, we made the decision to check out early for our own comfort and hygiene. To make matters worse, after we left, the owner accused us of taking their toiletries, which is both false and incredibly offensive given we didn’t even touch them. There was no meaningful assistance or communication from the owner during our stay, and the lack of accountability and cleanliness made this experience truly regrettable. The photos along with the description on the listing did not match what we experienced at all. I would not recommend this listing to anyone looking for a comfortable or trustworthy stay.

This is a beautiful property that's already showing it's age. The building is well maintained, the room is tired and poorly maintained. Holes in walls, peeling paint, etc. The mattress feels like a pad over a brick. It's absolutely rock hard. We left our booking and moved to another property. Never going back

L’appartement était non seulement confortable, mais aussi très bien situé. Nous avons pu découvrir la vie nocturne animée de Saigon sans trop marcher

The keycard also did not always work. Upon entering the room it smelled like smoking cigarettes. The room was clean but the sofa and rug was worn and stained. Remote controls to TV had no batteries.

Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten, um selbst zu kochen

Tuvimos un problema con la conexión Wi-Fi, pero el anfitrión lo resolvió en menos de una hora. ¡Muy buen servicio

If you are out going and like to go out a lot then this spot is not good for you unless you stay at the main hotel. You can’t get through double door to get to your elevator without someone who rented the unit to you. I have to wait hours to get in when someone exit the double door. Communication with owner/manager is poor. No answer until next day so you no one let you in then you are stuck for who know when…

The bathroom had a spacious shower, and all the toiletries were provided. It was very convenient and added to the comfort of our stay

L'appartement était d'une propreté irréprochable. Les draps étaient frais, et tout était bien rangé à notre arrivée

Everything about this place was seamlessly serene, from the quiet surroundings to the calming interior

Getting in and out of the unit is too complicated, every door required an access key to get through including the door to access the elevator area, which we didn’t have so we had to wait around for someone from the property management company to let us in as the security guard wouldn’t let us in for some reasons. Multiple issues with checking in during the middle of the night causes many frustrations especially when traveling with an elder and young children. I would not book this place again due to these issues.

I feel very disappointed with this service. This booking is completely different from the advertisement. First of all, the elevator card did not work at all and we had to wait for someone to open it, it was quite annoying and confusing on the first day when we arrived, we went to eat at Vincom and did not know how to get back. The service did not reply to messages when we needed help (zalo). Regarding the housewares, the shampoo was out and we only received an empty bottle with nothing inside. They advertised a king bed but it was just a king size mattress over a queen size frame. We felt this was nothing more than a scam.

I love the area but the conditions was a little worn out. Bed is not that comfortable. But for the price is not that bad. Would I rent again maybe.

good value for price

The room is very big and clean. The location close to shopping mall, nice park and have a lot of food. Staff very nice, I will comeback again.

The place was very nice. However be aware the check in process can be quite tedious if renting the apartment style rooms. You need to reach out to the contact person to get mailbox number to get card key to get up to the room. Then you need key code to get inside. Other than that the place is centralized cool and clean.

Nice room and great location

the property provide comfortable.. enough detegents and tissues..etc when i need a insecticide. the property gave me promptly.. Ms Hoang is so friendly helpful..

The guide was very enthusiastic and always available on Zalo to support customers. Especially when customers asked for reference for their next trip and the guide gave a quote that was off by only 200k, the guide always apologized and thanked the customers. The culture and attitude were very polite and respectful. Thank you very much and wish you all the best.
