Everything. Mai is a sweet and caring person who makes sure everything you need is available. There's a lovely walking street just outside the apartment away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. The apartment itself has a sitting room and a bedroom with kitchen appliances and a large fridge and freezer. The AC runs nice and cold and the water is nice and hot! We traveled to the north and didn't want to take our large suitcase with us and they let us keep it at the front desk! The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable and soft. All of this for a price that is simply unbeatable. The joy apartment truly earns it's name by how we felt the entire time we were there. Our own little slice of paradise.

The rooms size was okay and the bed was comfortable, had a kitchenette, a/c, and small living room area. Building was secure and location was okay.

I'm not sure we received the higher priced apartment suite we paid for since the photos of the studio suite more reflected our room with no dinette sitting area or any view. But it was okay. The scent diffusers everywhere seemed to mask some room smells from the fridge to the moldy bathroom area. Otherwise the room was clean and location was in an okay area. No views out the windows, just bricks.

I love the staff, so friendly and helpful. Accommodating my broken arm fresh out of hospital. Room was very clean and comfy. Also helped out with late check out for my flight giving a good rate to book another room for a few hours.

That I had to leave so soon I wish I had found this flat sooner in my trip that month

호스트가 친절하고, 침대가 편안해서 잠을 잘 잤어요. 롯데몰은 걸어서 10분정도에 쇼핑하기 좋고 현지 마트가 가까워 식품을 사는데 좋았어요. 그리고 조용해서 잘 쉬었어요.

우리는 5층에 묵었는데, 개미가 많았어요. 개미가 쇼파에도 싱크대에 있어서 편하게 짐을 놔둘 순 없어서 불편했어요.

Die Gastgeberin war wirklich der Hammer immer ansprechbar. Auch als ich unterwegs war habe ich nach einem Café gefragt und sie hat mir innerhalb von 5 min eine Adresse geschickt. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Ich würde auf jedenfall wieder kommen.

Zu old town ist es schon weit weg. Die Lage war okay aber auch nicht so gut.

Conveniently located within short walk to the Lotte mall and fairly easy taxi to airport. Lots of restaurants nearby. Unit was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly.

Phòng hơi bí đối với mình, có một ban công nhỏ chứa máy giặt và nhìn ra ngoài nhưng phòng mình khá thấp, không có cửa sổ nên hơi ngột ngạt

Excellent location. Park to do exercises right across. English speaking host. Let me stay a couple of hours later than check out. Will definitely come back here.

The staff were very helpful! Hanna is great! Our room was clean and comfortable! Each unit has a washing machine on the balcony, which is wonderful! Enough basic dishes and cookware to make your own meals. We bought an inexpensive dish drainer, a few more cooking utensils, and a couple of extra dish towels as we stayed for 10 weeks. Close to Lotte Mall with a large supermarket in the basement. Also, a small WinnMart down the alley--a few steps out the door. Try Jewel Diner down the road. Several bus stops nearby. The city busses are an inexpensive way to get around. We found that Google Map was usually very accurate in routes and times, often better than the Hanoi Bus app. We are headed back to Hanoi for another month and will stay at Joy Apartment Tay Ho again!

quiet, nice and modern apartment, close to restaurants and Lotte Mall.

It's a bit far from the center and the tourist places, which can be good, if you don't like noise and motorcycles everywhere.

This apartment is stunning. Everything is new and clean, and it is a good size. The bedroom is separate and there is a living room area too. It is outside of the busy centre so you can get away from the craziness of old town! It is just a 10 minute taxi ride into town when you want to go. There are restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as well as the shopping mall. I loved it here.

The people across the alley are doing building work from 6.45am in the morning and it is very loud into the bedroom. Of course, I assume this will only be temporary until the building is finished.

Good & peaceful location in Tay Ho. Compact room - perfect for one person. Clean mattress. Towels, Shower Gel/Shampoo/Conditioner provided. Working WiFi/Internet. Fast CheckIn even at 8PM.

I saw a cockroach running around at night and it freaked me out. I didn't see it again though. Yet, it was enough to shatter my peace/sleep - that feeling of always having to look around. I hope they use Cockroach Repellents/Spray while cleaning and letting people in - in future. Drinking Water was not provided. If it were included that would have been great.

Good comfortable stay. Peaceful location with good wifi connection. I stayed here for three weeks for work and it was a good choice.

Very clean nice apartment, big smart TV, hot water, bath tub. Cooking area. Good location 10 minute walk to lotto mall, and in a quiet nice street. Good value for money. Highly recommend

Nothing to really dislike

The apartment does benefit with kitchen, washing machine (dryer is also available), market close by and the huge mall in a walking distance. As well has good soudproof. Yes, bathroom should be refurbished a bit, but it haven't bothered us at all. Location is a bit far from the city, but closer to the airport. Win win.

TIP: Request second blanket if you are used to go to sleep under the huge one.

An amazing apartment that felt just like being at home. Everything you need including a washing machine and a shop and restaurants nearby. Super helpful owners! Would definitely stay again.

Not easy to access by car from airport

- wish this was my home. It is so nice, has everything you need. - very clean - working elevator - comfortable bed - love that there is a washing machine and drying apparatus for every room. - wifi for each room separately. - I was planning to take my online classes here but my neighbor was so loud with their music I couldn’t…. - the place is very close to lotte mall - I was able to do work and take classes from the Muji store’s cafe lol

- it was extremely cold inside and the extra fleece blanket they provided was not enough. - the walls are really thin and my neighbor was blasting their tv all day and night. - the fire alarm went off at in the evening but there was no one at the front desk. Two other guests and I, concerned, walked down the stairs and were waiting for some word from the super/receptionist who had tuned off the alarm after letting it go off for about 3 minutes. They never came so I called the “hotline.” Someone who I assume was sleeping answered saying they were not at the building so they would call someone who was and would call me back. They never did. I also message on booking app but no response. - also, I had a very early check out (11:30 pm) the next day. I wrote on booking app messenger again asking about check out procedures and no response for hours. So again I had to call a few different numbers (written on post it note with a hand written note in Vietnamese) to contact the receptionist (around 8pm). … so I removed one point. For service because of the alarm confusion for being unresponsive. Other than that. I love this place and would definitely come back. - the electric kettle was gross. It looked like someone had used it to heat milk and had rinsed it but seeing the burnt milk residue, just filled it ⅓ of the way with water to sit. The cleaning lady didn’t do the second part to clean jt - so I had to spend 5 minutes really scrubbing hard to clean the kettle. Honestly wouldn’t have used it if it wasn’t soooo cold in Hanoi/in the apartment. But I guess that is minor.

It is in a quiet neighbourhood on the west lake, where many locals and expatriates live, which can be very diverse and interesting. There is a relatively large amount of greenery for Hanoi, which is nice. The building is quite new and it was well equipped with washing machine and even Netflix.

It was not very clean. I booked 2 nights. They upgraded me, which was nice, but not very important for me as I was out whole day. When I extended for one night, they didn't speak face to face but via booking.com's messaging service, which seemed very strange to me as we had seen each other shortly before. They then wanted a lot more money than I had paid for the other two nights, which would probably have been the price of the flat. However, I wanted the same price and to move if necessary. They didn't reply, even though I had sent 2 more messages. The next morning they apologised and said they didn't have time to reply to all the guests all the time. They also claimed that the messaging service didn't work for them, which was a contradiction to the first statement and plus the messaging service did work. 1. this establishment was not that big and 2. I sensed the lie behind it, which always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Anyways, we agreed a fair price. So the next morning I wanted to pay by credit card, which suddenly meant a 3% surcharge. I didn't have to pay this the first time, even though I had negotiated with the "junior manager". So I paid in cash. I asked for a receipt and she looked at me as if I was from the moon. I had to ask three times and insist. With resistance, I was then given a receipt, which should actually be normal. Especially in a "better" etablishment. Then I was told I could move at 2pm. I replied that I wouldn't be there because I was out of the house. However, everything is packed and prepared and they would have to take my luggage to the other room, which we had already agreed. Suddenly the room was free and I was able to move. What are these people thinking? I was already a guest. What exactly was I supposed to wait until the afternoon for? Long story short: The accommodation is relatively new and quiet, but my trust is broken by dishonesty and insincerity.

This apartment provides all kitchen utilities and rier and washer as well. The highway near the hotel was in construction so that it will beocme completed in an year. The northern lakeshore was good for sightseeing and walking. I walk up to the Hong River, which is seldom visited by tourists who normally visit the West Lake.

It was little hard to locate since it was not a formal hotel.

This apartment was super nice, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed and reasonably priced. It’s not in the centre but if you have a bit more time in Hanoi or you don’t want to be in the centre this is perfect. And you can easily get around via grab. What made this stay enjoyable was Chloe who welcomed me for the check-in. She was so friendly and gave me the warmest welcome I have received in any of the places I’ve stayed in Vietnam. She was also super helpful and brought me a thicker blanket and some washing powder immediately. I highly recommend you to stay here.
