It is a new cruise with modern facilities that makes your stay feel fancy. I stayed in the Ha long bay suite and the room was big with a spectacular balcony that definitely made my stay memorable. There are no words to describe the personal, as most Vietnamese people, everyone was above and beyond. They made your stay special. Food was tasty and the morning and afternoon buffets had a lot of options. Everything perfect. I highly recommend it and definitely I will come back!

Our cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, quiet, and offered spectacular views.

It was way beyond my expectations. It was very luxurious and comfortable on the cruise ship. It’s a fantastic vessel - there was a great pool, spa with massages, little golf area, a gym. Excellent look out spots. Tai Chi in the morning and a tea and cooking ceremonies. Plus all the side trips to various places and a bit of fishing and swimming

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to experience the best of the bay without feeling rushed.

The atmosphere on board was lively without feeling crowded. It was easy to meet other travelers and enjoy the journey together.

We ended up on Diana Cruise firstly. The ship is absolutely beautiful. Spotless cabins with amazing facilities. We stayed 2 nights so we had a full day of excursions from a tender boat, which went all the way to CatBa island so we saw a lot of the bay and beyond. Food was great, the buffet was definitely better than the a la carte, Staff are all incredible. Especially Luna, she absolutely made our stay super special.

Det fanns många roliga aktiviteter att delta i, men samtidigt hade vi gott om tid att koppla av och njuta av det fantastiska landskapet. Balansen mellan upplevelser och avkoppling gjorde vår vistelse extra minnesvärd.

The cooking class was one of my favorite activities. Learning to make Vietnamese spring rolls was fun, and they tasted amazing.

Vanaf het inchecken tot aan het uitchecken verliep alles soepel en professioneel. De kamer was comfortabel en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was werkelijk prachtig. We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden deze accommodatie zeker aanbevelen.

ספינה יחסית חדישה ונהדרת. שיט כיפי ומרגיע.לקחנו חדר אקזקיוטיב גדול ומרווח עם מרפסת. יש פעילויות אבל אנחנו לא יצאנו. העדפנו להיות בבריכה. הבריכה גדולה ביחס לספינות אחרות. הצוות יצא מגדרו להכין לנו ארוחת ערב מתאימה לנו. ביקשנו צמחונית. ממליצה בחום.

הלוז צפוף מאוד. הכל תחום בזמנים. לוקח כ40 דקות להגיע לספינה שעוגנת בלב ים מהמזח.. חצי שעה מההגעה יוצאים לקיאקים ולראות את מערת האור והחושך. לא הלכנו העדפנו להיות בבריכה. למחרת ארוחת בוקר בשש-שבע. פינו חדרים כבר בתשע, ובתתשע וחצי מגישים ארוחת צהרים. 10:30חוזרים למזח. זה לוז לכל הספינות. צריך להכיר ולדעת את זה.

Overall great stay, friendly staff, good activities. Dat our waiter was amazing!

Our boat was changed last minute and we were put on the Diana cruises which is the sister boat to Venus. Communications said it was due to renovations however looking on trip advisor this seems to have happened to lots of people and all different reasons were given. Diana was modern and overall clean however little details were missed such as scratched furniture, the teak of the deck had dried paint onit, pool could have done with better cleaning. One of the activities was swimming at the back of the boat however there was so much rubbish in the bay that was collecting around the boat and it was really unsanitary and dirty so we didn’t swim. The staff could have prevented this by using nets to remove it.

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit. Das Kreuzfahrtschiff ist neu und sehr sauber, das Personal arbeitet unglaublich engagiert und freundlich. Die Landschaft ist einfach atemberaubend und macht die Reise zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Die gesamte Erfahrung war von Anfang bis Ende hervorragend – vom Transfer bis zum Check-out verlief alles reibungslos. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hatte einen unglaublichen Balkon mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Wir haben am Kajakfahren und am Kochkurs teilgenommen, und beides hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Ein großes Dankeschön an Eric und das gesamte Team, die dafür gesorgt haben, dass sich jeder herzlich willkommen gefühlt hat.

Die Reise mit meiner Familie war sehr schön. Das ist der beste Ort in Vietnam. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Kundenservice ist 100/10.

The voyage was absolute perfection from start to finish. The onboard atmosphere was elegant and uncrowded.

The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the pillow divine. We had a poor experience however the Manager (Eric) was fabulous. He was very apologetic and arranged for us to be relocated to a sister ship with a room upgrade. Thank you Eric for sorting this out. Venus/Diana more than made up for our poor experience.

The kettle in one of the rooms did not work. Our bathroom door did not shut. We managed to fix this by moving the vanity unit. The shower dripped constantly. The fridge in the room barely worked. The air con in the rooms was not effective however a fan was provided which did help. Lunch was a buffet with a good/varied selection however the food was bland. One of our group does not eat seafood (which the cruise company were advised of more than once). Dinner was a set menu with every course being seafood. Firstly we were given soup. My friend was given the same soup but without the seafood in it. No protein replacement. The next course was a salmon salad. Mine had two 5mm square pieces of salmon only. My friend was served just lettuce and tomato. No protein replacement. The next course was fish which had nice flavour but was cold. My friend was given some chicken which was stone cold, tough and without flavour. Next we were served spring rolls which were completely cold. They had been sitting out since we arrived. They were replaced with hot ones when we complained. Unfortunately 3/4 of the guests on this cruise were a group celebrating an occasion. This group were heavily intoxicated and were so loud throughout dinner that we literally could not hold a conversation. At this point we abandoned the dinner to retire to our rooms, missing the last two courses of the meal. We very unhappy with our experience. It should be noted that the unfortunate matter of the other guests was not the fault of the cruise staff. They did attempt to quieter them but without success. The group were not rude or aggressive, just extremely loud and boisterous. As mentioned, were were relocated to another boat and our experience thereafter was 10/10.

הכל היה מעולה כולל אוכל, נוחות, חדר מושלם, צוות דואג כל הזמן ואטרקציות שאפילו היו כלולים במחיר (דבר שלא ציפינו לו). גם אם היו בקשות מוזרות מצד של בעלי (מרק עוף בבוקר ) חחחחח ... - קיבלנו. מאוד ממליצה על הקרוז בVENUS!

Todo el viaje estuvo muy bien organizado de principio a fin, incluyendo el transporte, el check-in y las actividades. El crucero fue cómodo, con una cabina agradable y un balcón perfecto para disfrutar de las vistas.

Great tour. Good activities (shame the karaoke stops at 10! Lots of solo travellers so great opportunity to meet people. The people I met made my trip!

We didn’t know certain activities were on certain days.

Eerlijk gezegd was dit een geweldige ervaring. De negatieve reviews hier maakten me eerst een beetje onzeker, maar ik besloot mijn eigen mening te vormen over deze cruise en het stelde absoluut niet teleur. Het eten was erg goed en het personeel aan boord was echt fantastisch - vriendelijk, attent en hield goed rekening met onze dieetwensen.

The location, the atmosphere, the service

We booked an expensive room but it was challenging to sleep at night because of the noise of a machine or generator next to the room. There was a bad smell of sewage in the room. Every time you enter there is an unbearable smell. The hotel staff even installed an electric odor-distributing device in the bathroom and shower. It didn't help much.

Overall this was a great experience. Our children loved the experience, especially being able to kayak off the boat. The staff were exceptional in looking after our needs. The check-in process was busy but seamless. We used transfers with the company and this was excellent also. The food onboard was great but not always suitable for children. I wished I had organised some more child friendly meals - the dinner service was a set menu and not at all suitable for young children - we ended up wasting a lot of food. It was also a lot of food for adults to eat! The rooms were lovely and very large. The fridges in each room didn't work at all, so keep that in mind if you need a fridge. The cruise did have water stations that was helpful to save more plastic bottles. The cruise was a highlight for the kids over the holiday, so zero complaints.

Fridge not working. Happy hour doesn't include beer. We didn't think the water in the bay was healthy enough to swim in (not the fault of the cruise).

C’était très bien, la chambre était parfaite, avec le balcon vue sur l’étendu immense de la baie d’Halong. Le personnel est au petit soin, c’est très agréable.

Very nice and spacious suites.

The stopping at caves was not there in the plan. Also the sofa pillows that were glued had come off and it needs repairs. Lift is not reaching the dining area 4th floor. If any elderly person cannot climb stairs he cannot reach 4th Floor by lift. Otherwise all good. Very relaxing trip. Not much activities on board.

Un crucero muy muy bueno, el personal hace la estancia mil veces mejor con su atención. Se adapta a cualquier necesidad, si quieres relax lo tienes, si quieres más movimiento hacen muchas actividades incluidas en el precio

Que la bebida se pagase a parte, es caro para ser Vietnam y un crucero en el cual ya has pagado mucho por la estancia, muchos se trajeron su bebida de fuera aunque supuestamente no se podía y tampoco les llamaron la atención. Hay mucha basura en la bahía y dicen que lo cuidan pero nosotros vimos como la gente deja basura donde sea y se vuela, nadie dice nada y al final va a ser eso un vertedero flotante, mucha pena da verlo así

La habitación. Era lo mejor del crucero.

El paseo al que te llevan al día siguiente es decepcionante. No vale la pena, es aburrido, no hay nada para hacer, no te llevan a las cuevas ni a ver las famosas perlas. La comida dejaba bastante que desear no había variedad, y ejn la merienda no había nada para comer solo garrapiñada y unas galletas. La verdad que para el costo, decepcionante el servicio. Solo la habitación.

I booked this boat after communicating in advance with the coordinator about the cave visit, which was one of the main reasons I chose this cruise. Unlike other cruises that clearly advertise the cave stop, this company gave unclear and inconsistent explanations. I was told the cave visit would happen if the water level allowed it. Other guests were given completely different stories, including that the cave was closed, or that the company simply does not go there as a matter of policy. It became obvious that different passengers were being told different things. The check-in process was also uncomfortable. They required passengers to let them take a photo of their passport using a personal phone, which did not feel professional or secure. The transfer to the main boat was done on a small and rather questionable-looking transfer boat, and the ride took about 45 minutes. That was not what I expected from a cruise marketed at a higher price level. Lunch was just okay. During the day, they kept asking guests to choose a dinner menu, only for us to later find out it was basically one fixed meal. The so-called afternoon activity was kayaking behind the boat in a very dirty area of the water, which was disappointing and not enjoyable. The overall atmosphere on the boat was also not pleasant. The swimming pool was small and dirty, and there seemed to be no rules or supervision. A group of passengers entered the pool fully dressed, including long skirts and scarves, which made the experience feel even less hygienic and poorly managed. Internet access did not work at all. Their network was not even visible most of the time. We could detect signals from other boats, but of course we had no access to those. Dinner was acceptable, but the entertainment was extremely boring. Also, drinks were not included, not even basic items such as water, coffee, or tea, which felt unreasonable given the price. The views were amazing. The top deck was huge. The rooms were good sized with beautiful views.

This was a great experience and we are so happy we booked this experience. Food was great. I have to eat gluten free and they did exceptionally well at providing it. I ate very well. Would recommend

Our suite was clean and well appointed, with plenty of ceiling to floor windows. Spacious including a deep bathtub with magnificent views.

Flott skip, god mat og hyggelig personale. Rent og pent. Vi hadde suite med terrasse. Romslig rom med flotte fasiliteter beliggende akter på skipet. Hyggelige aktiviteter.

Sluppen som fraktet oss ut til skipet tok 30 minutter og sto ikke helt i stil med moderskipet. Meget enkel standard. Vi satt trangt på trebenker uten ryggstøtte. Vi hadde bestilt transport tilbake til Hanoi med "luksus limousine". Meget bra minibuss, men vi likte ikke at vi ble tvunget til en 30 minutters pause på en turistfelle. Neste gang tar vi en Grab (Uber).

Our room was fabulous and the massage was incredible. Views also incredible.

Food in many instances was poor for a 5 star luxury. Vegetables were cold and vey undercooked. Also lamb chops were extremely red. Internet non existent for guests but staff appeared to get access. Cold showers at times.

Staff is excellent, very helpfull. The activities are fine and the route is beautifull.
