Steps to the Bell Tower and subway, yet quiet and tucked away. I will definitely stay here again.

I really appreciated the complimentary room upgrade and the offer for a late check-out. The staff was attentive and made the stay even more enjoyable.

Convenient location, fun design, new facilities and nice stuff.

It was amazing, lively, in the best location, room was minimalistic (to my taste) but had everything we needed. Very much an ikea minimalistic showroom feel. The staff was friendly too. Love the added touches in the common area like the hexagon pool table and the fruit ninja on the wall.

The two washing machines both had issues - one was veryyyy smelly probably because the door was kept closed after cycles for too long so the moisture and warmth caused bacteria to grow. The other washer was leaking. There was a little Karaoke machine in the common area that kept getting stuck and not working too. These were all minor issues with additional amenities though so the overall experience was still great.

Hotel near metro, and shops. Breakfast limited. There is laudry machine. Room size good. Many many hooks. Bed comfortable. Only think didn't like the corridor color, dark green!

The air con in the room doesn’t seem to work in this hot weather. The temperature remains at around 29 degrees in the room when we have already lowered the air con temperature to around 10 degrees celcius. Hence we didn’t have a good sleep during our stay. Apart from this, the rest including the staff, facilities and location is ideal and value for money.

Good location. Many eatery’s and shops. Close to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower.

Room is spacious and clean. Location is good as it is near to metro station.

Can be abit quiet at night for girls who travel solo.

Location was right above the line 2 subway line, which is where many of the attractions are. There were many bus options so well accessible by public transport. Plenty of food and shopping options around. Room facilities and heating were fantastic. There is a complimentary afternoon tea at 2-4pm everyday. Take note to request for a room not near the opera stage if you are affected by the noise during the day. We had a good chance viewing the performance from our room so it was a good perk for us.

A really modern and clean hotel in a fantastic location in Xi’an, walkable to Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter and all of central Xi’an. The room was comfortable and nicely designed. The reception/living area was pleasant and the laundry room was free to use and convenient. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The only problem was that every evening, there was incredibly loud music playing from a bar downstairs. When sitting in the reception/living area, the vibrations from the bass made the reception area physically shake. The music was also audible and the bass could be felt in our rooms even though we were up on the 6th floor. It continued until 1am most nights of our stay. It seems a shame as the rest of the hotel was great.

Unser Zimmer war ziemlich groß, sehr sauber, ruhig und gemütlich. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und für Xi’an optimal gewesen. Der Moxy Style ist einfach lustig und man findet in diesen Hotels in jeder Ecke etwas fürs Auge. Wir konnten unsere Wäsche waschen (kostenlos) und den Fitnessraum nutzen. Insgesamt für mich das beste Hotel auf unserer Rundreise. Besser als das Hotel ist nur das Personal selbst. So freundlich und hilfsbereit, teilweise mit super Englisch. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great location for a great price in the heart of ancient Xi'an. The hotel itself is very new and the rooms are very spacious and clean. Really like the hotel's boutique feel and hip design. Staff was friendly and lots of amenities were provided. Would stay here again!

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is definitely in my top five! Ultra cool vibe, BRILLIANT location, impeccable service - I will be back! There is so much to see and do in the immediate area with plenty of shops and dining options. Only 200m from the Bell Tower. Staff were friendly and very obliging. Special shout out to Simon - an absolute gentleman. It seems that these guys actually do recycle plastic bottles - a lot of hotels don't! Not sure if they recycle glass, metal and paper. The area is very safe. A short stroll to the Drum Tower and Moslem St or the South Gate. It was a brilliant experience and I hope to repeat it again very soon.

Good location as it’s near the bell tower and train station. It’s also near a shopping mall with good eateries. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All questions answered. They will go the extra mile to make your experience and stay a good one.

We loved the nice, modern and spacious rooms. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

The biggest disappointment of our stay was when we returned to the hotel on the second night and found ourselves locked out of our room. So we had to go down to the reception area, where we were told that we would only be able to access our room after settling a deposit. This was an extremely frustrating experience, especially since we would be checking out just a few hours later. It was clear that the staff member who checked us in had forgotten to ask for a deposit, which led to an uncomfortable situation in the middle of the night. For us and for the (friendly) staff member on duty. To add to the confusion, we later learned that the hotel had also contacted our parents, who were staying in another room, to demand a deposit, despite the fact that I was the one handling the entire reservation. This lack of communication left us feeling uneasy as we prepared to leave. While we have enjoyed our stays at the Moxy chain in the past, this stay highlighted several areas for improvement. The hotel has great potential, but better management of these areas would enhance the whole experience.

brilliant location - lovely room

Really great hotel, clean, modern, comfortable, nice design and delicious breakfast. The only thing I found strange and complicated was that most of the front desk staff did not speak even basic english. We had to go back and forth with a translator app and even then in was difficult. Otherwise it was great!

Property is very new, so facilities are all very modern. Sufficient outlets by the bed to charge and use phone as you sleep. Gym on 1st floor had comprehensive equipment, with towels, water cooler and a shower. The location is very central, within 30min walk to the Muslim Quarter. Staff were helpful with enquiries on nearby telco service centres and requests for recommendations on local cuisine and food delivery, though we communicated in Mandarin Chinese.

The hotel is next to a cultural centre that regularly holds traditional Chinese opera performances for the local elderly community at 10am-11am, and the full length glass windows do not do a good job of blocking out the shrill sound of the suona. Not an issue if you’re out of the room by then but might be a point of consideration if you’re looking to sleep in. Also the didi drivers always can’t locate the hotel so you’ll have to walk 2min to the main road.

Hotel was in a good location and the decor was nice and hip. The room had many accommodations. The only issue I had was the temperature of their AC units. Every night I had to sleep with my blanket covers off due to how hot the rooms were. Although, I had the AC down to other lowest temperature, the rooms were still stuffy and warm. The lady at the front, informed us that they turn off the AC on their end and only semi cooled air comes from the air vent. I noticed that it was colder in the hallways and common areas more than our rooms. We left our room door open to the hallways to cool our room when it was too hot in the room

We had never stayed at a Moxy brand hotel before but really loved our experience snd trip to Xi'an. The location was EXCELLENT very close to the bell tower, wall gate and Muslim quarter for tasty treats. Hotel staff were friendly and super helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, modern vibes, and clean. Would definitely stay here again if we're back in Xi'an.
