Dvele Inn

Beautiful accommodation, attentive and friendly staff and comfortably luxurious! Private and shared spaces were lovely. The owner and manager were both extremely helpful with check-in/out and providing local recommendations. Parking on site was very helpful.

Parking was a bit tight however manageable; we even saw the manager offer to help park a vehicle for another guest who was having a bit of difficulty.

The most adorable boutique Inn… a magnificent, restored and beautifully decorated big old home! Location was perfect to walk to downtown St John’s and close to great cafes and restaurants. Check in was so easy! Each suite had its own bathroom, the most comfortable bed and bedding and every little detail was thought of to make our stay luxurious! The staff were lovely and each morning delivered the cutest little breakfast box to our door 🥰

Amazing and beautiful space. We arrived at 3am and had no issues. It was comfortable and relaxing and just a lovely inn that went above and beyond in every way.

A slight uphill walk from downtown but only takes a few minutes and was great to walk off our delicious dinners. Otherwise was located very centrally from everything.

Beautifully appointed and renovated old home with charming accents - comfortable and quiet

Le charme de la demeure

Beautiful rooms.

We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We had a lovely breakfast delivered to our door every morning and a Nespresso machine with infinite pods right in our room along with a selection of teas and an electric kettle. Michele and Simone ensured that every need we had was met. The property is located near several wonderful bakeries and the short, walk to downtown was lined with beautiful colorful Newfoundland homes. A serene scenic park was also located very close by. We would absolutely recommend this property and will definitely use it as our main stay for future visits.

Beautifully renovated, we liked the breakfast at the door, and a comfortable bed.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, dependable wifi and tv. Location is good and walkable to a number of popular locations and eating options. It would have been nice if there had been some one on site to answer questions or provide suggestions for directions, eating options etc.

What a beautiful property! We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms are absolutely stunning and the daily breakfast box was a real treat!

The inn was quaint and lovely, with great breakfast provided. Our room was large with attention to details to optimize comfort and relaxation.

Room #5 is exceptionally large, lots of space, very comfortable, huge bathroom, candles everywhere, books everywhere, very quiet area, yet close to main city area.

Chambre extra confortable

Dvele Inn is a luxurous hotel with lots of attention to details. Comfortable king size bed and modern bathrooms. We really enjoy the breakfast that you can eat either in your room or in an adjacent dinning room. There is also a library and a living room where you can read while enjoying a drink. The place is very quiet and located at a walkable distance from the downtown.

It’s all about the details. The snacks by the nightstand, the local soap, the elegant design choices… all appreciated. The morning breakfast box was a special treat and the owner was incredibly friendly. I didn’t know you could choose your pillow type ahead of time but that is a great option. Definitely recommend.

The Dvele Inn exceeded our expectations on every level. The room was incredible - spacious, clean, attention to detail. There was even a nook with a yoga mat. There are lots of extra room to hang out in on the main and second floor. Can't say enough good things about this Inn

Huge suite. Very comfortable bed. Attention to detail - linens, lovely smells. Breakfast basket! Absolute quiet. It's beautifully renovated and very stylish looking. Good pre-arrival communications for how to get into the property and what to expect.

While it is certainly walkable, it's a bit up a hill from downtown, in a residential area. It is more of a self-service property - as there is a single 'staff' person available. The nightly rate is on the high side for having a nice quite room.

Incredible staff and facilities. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Wonderful location just the right distance away from the noise of the main party/pub block and across the street from the best park in town and a wonderful bakery.

Nada enchilada

The property was nice and renovated and clean but the value was very poor. There is little service, limited poor breakfast without choice, self serve coffee in the room only, terrible non absorbent towels, uncomfortable rough sheets. It was way overpriced for the quality of the stay. I am a well traveled person and I do not recommend this place to stay for the amount of the cost.

Chambre magnifique et confortable Très propre Plusieurs belles petites attentions

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dvele Inn in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and it was a truly amazing experience. The decor and design is absolutely stunning, reflecting the same beauty seen in the photos. Plus, each morning, we were treated to thoughtful breakfast baskets filled with delicious local treats, a wonderful way to start the day. Additionally, the inn's location is ideal, with several delightful cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. I can’t recommend Dvele Inn highly enough for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Breakfast was ok, but not great for a low acid or sugar diet. Availability to snacks (as advertised) was disappointing. Lighting was dim, not good for makeup but great for ambiance. Location was wonderful and the facility was well decorated and inviting.

See above.

This was by far the most beautiful inn I have ever stayed at. So many thoughtful details, from where the lights were conveniently located to the wine and candles set up for check in. The interior design of the entire place had me exploring and in awe the whole trip. Staff was accommodating for dietary needs and very friendly. I was simply blown away.

To say that Dvele Inn is special is an understatement. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable, the service is topnotch, and the location is well situated near restaurants, sites, and the downtown. As well, the host, Simone, could not have been more pleasant, helpful, and accommodating.

Beautifully renovated house, spotlessly clean and an interior designers dream. Wonderful hospitality from staff who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Nothing, it was perfect

Exceptional! Splendid hospitality and attention to detail; gorgeous aesthetic; super comfortable; and ideally located close to downtown. One of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. Thank you!

Amazing spot!

Absolutely stunning property! We definitely will be going back for another stay. Jamie and Shelley

What an amazing stay at the Dvele Inn! Marie was so warm and inviting- it made our stay that much more memorable. Everything is super lux at this little boutique inn from the linen to the design aspects. The breakfast basket was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch each morning. We highly recommend! Great for couples and small groups traveling together. Perfect location downtown as well!

An amazing property that delivers on its promise, Quiet, cozy, comfortable, well located and simply amazing. The host treats all guests as family and everything you need is covered. Great city, great restaurants nearby and what about the awesome people of Newfoundland… We’ll be back !

Most comfortable bed ever

The Inn is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy both your stay and the city of St Johns. Staying at the Inn makes you able to enjoy a new place to visit as well as enjoying the comforts of feeling at home. One of the best places I have ever stayed

Exceptional stay for my first business visit to St. John's The inn was so carefully curated with details. The bed was of my best sleeps ever. I wasn't expected linen sheets that smelled so heavenly. I will definitely be back on my next trip to St. Johns in fall. ODM- business traveller from Calgary

My client visiting St. John's stayed at Dvele and had a quiet relaxing and personally tailored experience.

Amazing place. Highly recommend

Beautiful home with gorgeous stained glass window. Rooms were lovely and we were able to relax after travelling. Appreciated being able to do some washing and breakfasts were great. Easy access to down town St John’s and great recommendations for restaurants by hosts. Fantastic stay.

As newly renovated, just a few minor tweaks (squeaky door) but these were addressed immediately by hosts.

We felt very welcomed here! They really personalize your stay with sweet notes and attention to detail. It's in a beautiful district of St. Johns and easily walkable to other locations. We enjoyed the breakfast baskets provided at our door in the morning and the cocktails at happy hour.

We had the most memorable night @ #dveleinn. The room was everything we expected from the scents to the comfort level, the service was amazing. From the first mins of booking the room to saying good bye. Bravo Marie & Laura!!! Amazing stay

This is a hidden, spectacular gem! Every aspect of the inn is curated to an amazing detail and is nothing short of the highest quality though-out. The staff is lovely, friendly and super helpful. They should be proud of what they’ve created! I can’t wait to get back.

What a stay! Gorgeous building, done extremely stylishly, minutes away from the historic strip in St. John's. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and warm; the breakfasts were great (especially before long hikes!); the rooms were beautiful. Cocktail hour didn't hurt either ;) A lovely time. Thank you for making my wife's birthday celebration extra special.
