Everything was good

The breakfast was very nice. There was lots of variety to choose from. I would have liked hot oatmeal offered, but maybe it's not popular.

The pool was too warm and it was not clean. There was spots of slime along the bottom and sides.

Das Hotel ist modern und sauber. Zimmer war behindertengerecht, somit das Bad super groß. Die Dusche ist top. Das Hotel liegt zentral, parken kostenfrei.

Das Zimmer ist extrem hellhörig bzw. die Türen schlagen sehr laut zu. Bis gegen Mitternacht ist an Schlaf daher nicht zu denken. Das Zimmer ist für 4 Personen ausreichend groß, die Schlafcouch allerdings eine Katastrophe. Man liegt auf den Federn, es ist sehr unbequem. Die volle Katastrophe ist allerdings das Frühstück und der Raum. Viel zu wenige Plätze für die Menge an Leuten. Es gibt Stehtische oder Couches, wo man nur sehr unbequem sitzen kann. Die wenigen Tische sind immer belegt. Das Personal ist komplett überfordert - es kommt nicht hinterher beim Nachfüllen, die Anordnung der angebotenen Speisen ist ungünstig. Man muss ständig zwischen wartenden Leuten durch, um an die Kühlschränke oder das Brot/warme Buffett zu kommen. Es gibt zu wenige Greifzangen, man muss mit den Händen die Sachen abgreifen - sehr unhygienisch. Der Müll stapelt sich, die Tische werden nicht gereinigt.

Just the location was good

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we experienced one problem after another. In our first room, the bathroom sink was completely clogged. We reported it the next morning and were assured it would be fixed, but when we returned to the hotel around 6 p.m., nothing had been done. Maintenance then spent nearly two hours trying to repair it without success. We had also asked Housekeeping to prepare the sofa bed for our daughter, but this was not done either. When they eventually came, they discovered that the sofa bed itself was broken. After hours of disruption and staff repeatedly coming in and out of our room while we were trying to get ready for dinner, we finally had to request a room change. Unfortunately, the replacement room had another problem: the window blind was broken and could not be closed. We reported it immediately and were initially told someone would come. After waiting 30 minutes, we were then told there was no technician available. We therefore had to spend our final night with the blind open, affecting both our privacy and our sleep. One maintenance issue can happen anywhere, but this was a series of problems across two different rooms, combined with poor follow-through after repeatedly reporting them. We lost a significant amount of our limited time in Kingston dealing with issues that should have been addressed before guests were placed in these rooms. This was far below the standard we expected from a Hilton property and, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

Staying last year very happy with the hotel went back this year with a high ecpectation as our previous visit. Unfortunatly not happen this year.

Booked a room for 2 adults and a child. Extra bed was not ready or either been made. Plugs sockets was not working for microwave and coffee machine. Attitude of the staff at the check out when we quoted the issues lady at the reception didn't give apologies but tried to argue to us instead.

Room was excellent. Great air con, very clean, lots of space. Staff were helpful. Big car park.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön. Kostenlose Heißgetränke rund um die Uhr.

Beim Frühstück gab es wenig Auswahl und wenig Sitzmöglichkeiten, Tische nicht sauber.

Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Genoeg aansluitingen voor devices, streamingsdiensten, wifi, wasgelegenheid, goede gym, zwembad, keuken, koffie/thee etc. Als je wilt kan je zelf koken. Fijne ontvangst. Verwacht geen gezond ontbijt, het is een typisch Canadese ervaring (wafels, bagels, hamburgers). En dat is best leuk.

De slaapbank ligt niet prettig. Ook werkte op éen van de kamers de airco niet goed. Bij het ontbijt is het veel te druk, de ruimte is niet geschikt voor zo veel mensen.

Excellent , attention to detail in everything. Loved staying here and the gym was excellent.

There appeared to be a group og poeple staying there, that had security staff around, we were told the goverment are responsible for finding them a place to stay. I think this is great but felt unsettled with the amount of security guards about.

The breakfast was great and the location was awesome. The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. I would like to thank Nicole at Home2 Suites by Hotel Kingston for her assistance to get around the city.

One morning, the fire alarm went off and there was no hot water for some reason. But, hot water was restored hours later as explained by front desk staff.

They moved us to double tree for maintenance reason and we had to go to Home2 for breakfast daily which was alot of walk

The staff were friendly. The hotel was beyond our expectations. We highly recommend it .

Just a little bit away from downtown. Not too bad though.

The customer service was Amazing. Staff goes above and beyond. Really good FREE Breakfast. Beautiful Room we got with a mini kitchen. :) We stayed here because we did the 5-hours 1000 Isalnds Cruise with the entry to the Boldt Castle which was a Very Good Experience, a MUST TO DO! We also toured Gananoque & Kingston Waterfront. It was a Wonderful Mini Vacation for us coming from Ottawa. :)

The breakfast had basics and variety..I liked the pesto peppers. My oatmeal with granola, maple syrup, and a banana was also a great start to the day. The hotel was clean. Staff communication was good-even the welcome text proved helpful for fitness room hours.

I am a big coffee drinker…coffee was ok. Any specialty coffee available-latte?

Everything was amazing, very clean and the decor has been done with attention to detail. Breakfast was good too.

There was alot of security staff about and when we asked apparantly they are a group people staying in the hotel so we were not sure what this was about.

The property was nice. We came for our daughter early morning graduation at Queens university and booked two rooms. It was very clean and well cared for. All the necessities were there including a very good breakfast and also many things not needed for our stay but I assume good for other people, such as full size fridge, dishwasher, dishes etc. Also they have very attentive staff, the cleaning ladies and the gentleman serving the breakfast, he was very attentive.

The only thing that was not great was the mattress, not very comfortable but ok for a night.

The hotel and room decor

Upon arrival, there were many people smoking outside. Inside there were very unsavory looking individuals lingering around the lobby area. I asked if the hotel was housing the less fortunate. And was told that they were in collaboration with the government, for a government program.

Breakfast was great. Lots of hot options. The entry has a nice layout and lots of chairs and tables to allow for a variety of options for dining alone or with family. The staff are very helpful and the building is very clean as well as the units.

The lighting in the parking lot is terrible. Especially for women travelling alone and walking through a largely poorly lit area in front of the building entrance. There are building issues that I guess are endemic throughout the units. The walk in shower door kept sliding open as soon as you try to close the door. The shower head is nice but only sticks out six inches off the wall which means you have to stand almost touching the shower controls below the shower head. Good thing I'm not overweight because it would be difficult to get under the shower head with your entire body. Also the roller blinds are stiff and difficult to operate (also typical throughout different rooms i have stayed in the last couple years.

I stayed at this property when it opened a few years ago, and the service has noticeably declined. The kitchenette was a lifesaver for our toddler-friendly travels.

The service was terrible. The staff was unkempt, and the rooms were only cleaned every two days, which felt like a big favour. We even requested linen changes, but they weren’t done, sofa bedding is just repacked and not cleaned. The hotel also had a very limited number of trolleys. To make matters worse, they allowed pets, and dogs were urinating in the elevators. It was honestly unpleasant. The water pressure was poor, and the breakfast had only one waffle maker, which was occupied most of the time. They also closed the entire breakfast setup at 10 a.m., not even 10:01 or 10:02. Coffee wasn’t refilled after 9:30 a.m., so we had to keep asking the staff, who were mostly international students and seemed disinterested in their duties.

Many items to choose from for breakfast. It is rare to see bacon. Also available were very healthy choices. The coffee was excellent. Great parking spaces to chose from. Convenient location to go to downtown by car. The pool was heated and not busy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked for a quiet room and it was quiet. Slept very well.

Clean and no noise

Breakfast ending at 9:00 a.m. feels quite early. I wasn’t informed about the breakfast hours, so I missed the opportunity to eat. Unfortunately, I was not refunded for the breakfast either.

Me and my 3 kids went on a 2-day road trip and needed a place to sleep and enjoy ourselves, since it did not go as planned. I saw a water slide on this hotel's advertisement. I made sure to call the hotel front desk to see if the water slide operated during the same hours as the pool, or if there were limited hours for it being open during regular pool times. I was told it was "the same hours". When I arrived at the hotel, all 3 kids were excited to go to this water slide right away, but the receptionist told me it is no longer there "since construction." My kids were devastated from the road trip already having gone unexpectedly wrong, and now I had told them about this exciting water slide (and even CALLED AHEAD to make sure it was available!) just for them to be disappointed yet again!

The breakfast was a very busy area! We found out some young hockey players and more were using your motel also. The waffle maker was in great demand and a line formed as they waited for their turn to make some waffles! We could have used a second waffle machine!!

The size is of the room , and the washroom seem new to me … and the reusable hair and body wahser . Quiet, I love the blanket and the bed feel very comfortable

I think the hot water can not hotter and that would be better . No others issue
