Rocky Mountain View Bed & Breakfast

Had to skip breakfast but on the basis of our overall experience I expect it would have been excellent.

Mari was very pleasant and accommodating with a later check in. The continental breakfast was superb! A lovely, comfortable stay that felt like home.

Everything was lovely - the room is very comfortable and has everything you could need, as does the bathroom. The breakfast was really good, we had a great stay!

Very clean and nice home, excellent views and delicious breakfast. Also convenient to the Calgary Airport, which made our departure easy for return flight to the U.S.

Mari and Igor were friendly and always about to ask for information about cochrane and surrounding areas, stunning house which was clean and great views. Breakfast was always good and Mari was a great host at the breakfast table, nothing seemed any trouble Would highly recommend a stay here and if we visit the area again hopefully we'll get to stay again

L’hôte de cet établissement était très accueillante et la chambre était très soignée avec une belle vue. L’emplacement est idéal pour un stop entre Calgary et les Rockies. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux.

Una casa grande e luminosa, comodo parcheggio. Stanza al secondo piano senza ascensore, molto comoda con un bagno provvisto di ogni prodotto , anche body cream di buona qualità. Letto comodissimo Colazione preparata al momento molto buona e completa di dolce e salato

Voglio segnalare una regola della casa: all’ingresso bisogna levarsi le scarpe e camminare scalzi. Personalmente non mi ha creato problemi, ma forse è bene saperlo

Sehr gepflegtes Haus in einer Villengegend mit Ausblick. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ausgezeichnet.

Our room was beautifully presented and had a great view. The bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was delicious and coffee was very good too.

Lovely location overlooking cochrane, easy to find and plenty of parking. Very comfortable bed! Host was friendly and accessible, but also gave plenty of space and privacy. Nice fresh air and lots of light in the room

Excellent experience! Beautiful place with everything one may need. Very clean room and washroom, super comfy bed, amazing view from the window. Huge bonus is the breakfast with fresh-baked croissants. Very safe place to stay for women travelling alone. The hostes Mari is a beautiful and caring person too. I loved absolutely everything during my stay (including a deer and a fox observed in the back and front yard while having my late breakfast cooked by Mari for me personally) and would definitely come back again!

The best stay at Calgary

Situated at the end of a cul de sac meant it was wonderfully quiet. Also has great views.

2 flights of fairly steep stairs, tv was tiny, side of the bath was very high making taking/getting into the shower a little more difficult

This is an excellent B&B with the most friendly and gracious hosts. Within walking of shops and restaurants. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Gorgeous mountain views. Easy to find. The breakfast in the morning had a lot of variety, was tasty and the coffee was plentiful. We would definitely stay with Mari & Igor again. Beautiful home. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful house in Cochrane, Mari was an excellent host with attention to detail, the stay was very comfortable and the breakfast too very delicious. I recommend this place to everyone visiting the area!

Hosts were excellent. Beautiful home. I have difficulty with steps and there are many steps to climb. Bed was not totally comfortable, need new pillows. Definitely need the windows open if it is hot outside. A lighter blanket would have been nice. Croissant at breakfast was delicious.

Perfect verblijf na aankomst lange vlucht. Je wordt hartelijk en vriendelijk ontvangen. Nette klassieke kamer. Zeer lekker ontbijt Aanrader!

Igor and Mari were lovely. Location is not the most convenient. We were up too early both mornings to enjoy the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Overall, I would say it was okay, but maybe a little pricey for what we got out of it.

Good location to Banff NP. Very clean. Nice helpfull host.

The bed was too soft for me.

My daughter and I stayed here and it was great!! Mari and Igor have such a beautiful home, with a sparkling clean private bathroom and a quiet bedroom, gorgeous view and architecture, nice breakfast and tasty treats in our room. So homey and cozy, they were above and beyond kind and had great recommendations too (also Americans are indeed welcome here, hahahah, do not fret!). Thank you Mari and Igor!!!

The facility was a work of art and the staff were friendly, engaging and accommodating. The breakfast was 10/10 and the property was very impressive.

I hated to leave the breakfast table that still had scrumptious fare for the taking. The host is a marvelous preparer of food and is skilled in the etiquette of elegant service.

Such an amazing stay! It was insanely comfortable, clean and with top amenities. Breakfast was delicious, one of the best croissants we ever had! Hosts are really kind and thoughtful of guests needs.

The place was spotless. Windows provided great light and view when desired, great blackout for sleep. Host was cordial and friendly.

It was so nice to stay one night if you are heading for Banff from Calgary! The place was quite cozy and comfortable, the owner so kind that I was satisfied.

Actually, it was not the disavantage but be informed that there are a lot of stairs to get to the room. If you bring our luggage, it can be difficult to handle it.

Guests are asked to take their shoes off at the door, which my husband found uncomfortable as he hates to go without shoes.

If you need a place to stay in the area this is a great place. The location is wonderful and the room is nice. The next time we need a place to stay in Cochrane this will be our first choice.

If I had to nit pick, I would say the narrow stairs to get to the room when you have a large suitcase and cabin bag to carry.

Very good continental-style breakfast, with plenty of choice. Home-made croissants a highlight! Very well-equipped and comfortable room, with many extra touches to make it feel like a home from home. Quiet residential location, which felt entirely safe. Panoramic views across to Rockies in far distance. Warm welcome from host. Good value for money - offers excellent standard of service and accommodation, comparable to many high-class hotels I’ve stayed in elsewhere.

Location probably better suited to guests with their own car. That said, taxis or Uber available locally and not expensive. Couldn’t find a bathroom blind, so felt rather exposed when using bathroom as window didn’t have obscured glass - may have been my fault for not asking!

Mari & Igor were wonderful hosts, very friendly & accommodating without being over fussy. The fresh croissants for breakfast were to die for and set us up for the day. Location is great for stop off between the rockies or Calgary and the house is stunning with an extremely comfortable bed.

There was nothing that we didn't like, in fact the B&B exceeded our expectation! The only improvement I could suggest from a personal point of view would be fresh milk with tea and coffee in the morning rather than the single serve uht pots but maybe that's just a brit thing!

This was an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived. Mari and Igor's home offers privacy, elegance, an amazing view of the city and a breakfast to rival an expensive restaurant-Dutch Pancakes with berries, home harvested honey, fresh coffee and very pleasant company. We are SO impressed with all that this B&B offers at such a low price. And the drive to Calgary Airport was easy. A wonderful place, highly recommended!

A very comfortable room with a nice view. The location was easy to find and convenient. We stayed for one night recovering from a long haul flight into Calgary. This was the perfect place to relax in comfort and catch up with some sleep. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
