The interiors and attention to detail were heavenly - daily cleaning, fresh towels and water. Our room had a travel adaptor which was perfect as I had misplaced mine. I stayed here with my seven year old daughter and we had a five minute walk to a bus stop and seven minute walk to a tube station. Many cafes and shops within walking distance.

There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so we had to open our windows every time we showered - but this was a minor inconvenience.

A charming boutique hotel that was much nicer than the generic chains. Super location. Staff were very friendly and could not have been more obliging. Fantastic breakfast at a really good price.

Cet hôtel est l'adresse secrète qu'on donne à sa meilleure amie. Il est à peine soupçonnable lorsqu'on arrive devant cette gelatoria (les glaces sont délicieuses du reste, notamment la dark chocolate). L'accueil est très chaleureux, la chambre au 3ème étage est spacieuse et très agréable, le quartier au coeur de Soho est à proximité de tout. J'y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Lack of lighting in the bathroom. The steam iron was not effective, prefer normal iron. The pillow was too soft.

Really nice room. Good shower, air con etc. Staff were lovely.

If I had to be critical, the noise from the road, especially in the morning got to me. But its to be expected.

Beautiful luxury room in Central Soho. Above a cafe which is also the check-in point which serves great coffee and gelati. Super friendly staff who could not be more helpful. Room was beautifully presented and spacious for this part of London. Air-conditioning which was very important in July. Central to everything we needed.

Be aware that the check-in time is very strict although bags can be dropped off prior and will be delivered to your room once it is ready.

Excellent location, service and a beautifully designed hotel. Was really quiet and AC was amazing in the heat. Shower facilities were fabulous - gowns and slippers provided.

Only a suggestion - the shower could be fitted with a shelf to hold products instead of keeping them placed on the base.

No lift/elevator. Weird buzzing noise prevented sleep - management was very delayed in responding and still did not find a solution for us.

The location was amazing and the room was a brilliant size. The style of the furniture was also really cool and stylish. We were getting married and had lots of people coming in and out, and the hotel was amazingly accommodating and really helpful.

The location was great, the room was small but packed in everything you needed and more to be honest, even had a charging cable. Staff were incredibly helpful.

It does not say Magda Boutique Rooms outside, it says Magda gellato ..basically an ice cream shop! There is no lift, which can't be helped of course, but beware if you have mobility issues. And in room 3 there is no TV ...we didn't miss it but for some it may be a problem

Die super zentrale Lage, das Personal, das direkte Umfeld. Wir haben uns drei wunderbare Tage dazugehörig gefühlt.

Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Bathroom is pretty spacious. A kettle and coffee machine in the room. Thick towels provided including a wash cloth! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Some very nice restaurants nearby as well.

The receptionist tried to place a £50 deposit to our card incase we used some of the extra items in the room like alcohol in the mini fridge. I did not see this explained in the policy before booking, which would have been nice to know beforehand unless I just missed it. Thankfully the receptionist explained we would get the money refunded if we didn’t use any extras and he kindly didn’t charge our card when I explained we wouldn’t be using any extras.

Nous avons séjournés deux nuits dans cet hôtel (montant réglé 599.08 € soit près de 300 € la nuit). Dans les faits, cela ressemble plus à un Air B&B. Pas d'accueil (impossible de faire le check out car personne même à 9h30...). Bien situé dans Londres c'est, à mon avis, le seul point positif car le rapport prix/prestations est extrêmement cher. Les photos sur le site sont essentiellement celles de la chambre supérieure, ce qui n'a rien avoir avec celle standard. Point positif : peignoirs & chaussons.

L'accès aux chambre se fait par des escaliers étroits et sans rampe (pas facile avec des valises surtout si elles sont lourdes et encombrantes). Bien se renseigner avant d'arriver au risque de trouver porte close car il n'y a pas vraiment d'accueil. Nous avions la chambre n° 4 (standard), au 2ème étage, cette chambre est vétuste (carrelage décollé dans la salle de bain comme le montrent les photos jointes car risque de se blesser aux pieds, lumières qui ne fonctionnent pas ou très mal, plafond abimé et cloqué, cf. photos, joints de la salle de bain sales et entartrés...) avec une électricité très vieillotte. En lisant les commentaires négatifs d'autres voyageurs, j'ai constaté que les remarques étaient les mêmes sur cette chambre n° 4 depuis un moment; Force est de constater que les propriétaires n'ont pas tenus compte des commentaires puisqu'aucun travaux n'est fait. A près de 300 € la nuit, on peut s'attendre à une chambre convenable. Il était également mentionné dans le descriptif un lit double 181-210 cm, après vérification car nous trouvions le lit petit, le lit mesure que 150 cm, ce qui est le standard en Angleterre. C'est également assez bruyant, on entendait les personnes du dessus marcher. La climatisation est positionnée dernière le rideau, donc le soir, si vous tirez les rideaux (pour avoir de l'obscurité), la clim n'est pas efficace. Donc soit c'est la clim avec rideau ouvert, soit pas de clim avec rideau fermé. La fenêtre coulissante est vieille et donne sur le toit avec un accès facile à la chambre. Enfin, Il est mentionné un mini bar dans la chambre, ce qui n'est pas le cas : il y a juste une bouilloire et une machine à café. Il est mentionné également des chocolats ce qui n'est pas non plus le cas, juste des spéculoos... Bref, le descriptif ne correspond pas à la réalité, en tout cas pour la chambre 4, qui est horriblement chère pour l'état de celle ci et ses prestations.

Nous avions la chambre 2, qui était très sombre. Plusieurs tuiles de céramique de la salle de bain étaient décollées, donc on s’y accrochait les pieds, limite dangereux.

Posizione nel cuore di Fitzrovia, lontano dalle zone turistiche ma allo stesso tempo centrale per poter raggiungere molti luoghi di interesse anche a piedi. Camera pulita e ben curata nei dettagli. Ho apprezzato molto la dotazione di the e caffè. Nelle immediate vicinanze sono presenti diversi locali in cui poter fare colazione di ogni genere.

The room is luxurious, the bed super comfortable, the location perfect in Fitzrovia with its village feel even though it's in central London with its Georgian streets, Independent cafés, restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. We were made to feel very welcome very kindly took our very heavy luggage to our room after we dropped them off to explore. The people at the Magda are so friendly and welcoming.

Bright, comfortable room. Perfect location, easy check-in. Room was clean and the staff very accommodating in helping us and allowing late check-out.

Lots of thoughtful touches in the room. It was spotless and very tastefully decorated.

Breakfast available and ideally a little bar to have a drink in in the evening. I believe they may be building this next door though.

Location was fantastic, right in central London, a few streets from all the hustle and bustle - but with easy access to the tube.

The hotel was under renovations (a new restaurant!) so there weren’t many amenities- but that was okay.

No Instructions for those of us too dumb to work out how the glamorous coffee machine works… And while I love not having a TV staring at my bed in a hotel room, I imagine some guests will struggle with not having a TV

Room 4 was a major disappointment, the poorest stay in our one-month Europe tour. It is extremely overpriced for the low quality. tiny room, old furniture, cracked ceilings, and broken bathroom tiles. There is no elevator, only narrow, steep stairs. Due to "renovation," there is no reception, no breakfast, and no luggage assistance. Communication via WhatsApp stops at 10 PM, making support difficult. my main issues are as below: - Room 4 Condition: Very small, outdated furniture, cracks in the ceiling, and broken tiles in the bathroom. check the pics. - Narrow halls with many stairs and no lift, making it difficult to move luggage. - No functioning reception (renovation), no breakfast, no room service, and no assistance with luggage check-out. - Poor communication, monitoring WhatsApp only until 10 PM and forcing communication with a separate number for needs. - Highly overpriced for the poor quality and lack of services.

Some tiles in the bathroom floor near the toilet are loose (came up when walked on with bare feet) and the towel rack was too hot, particularly when we needed A/C in the room.

London und Regen - ist normal. Man sitzt im Pup - geht dann - es regnet und man geht zurück an die Bar - noch eins ! must do: National Art Museum - Impressionisten - was nicht in Paris im "Orsay" hängt - ist - here ! London ist viele Reisen wert !

Overall very pleasant and easy stay. Hotel is very well located. The staff is highly helpful. The reception is under renovation and there is no elevator, so the staff was helpful with bringing suitcases up & down. I also got upgraded for my final night, which is lovely.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The room was amazing - and so comfortable. The staff did absolutely everything they could to make us feel at home. It was such a great experience and I’m definitely going back, when I get the chance. Do yourself a huge favor and stay here!!! And - thank you so much to the staff for their kindness and hospitality. It was a pleasure!

A ce prix, ces détails n’ont pas leur place : peinture au plafond qui se décolle, eau tiède le troisième soir, très mal isolés donc nous entendions les pas du voisin du dessus tard le soir et tôt le matin (=difficulté à dormir, très désagréable pour notre voyage détente en couple), peu d’aération dans la salle de bain donc buée/humidité dans la chambre, rideau cassé. Chambre très petite (peut être que ce n’était que la nôtre)
