Very comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Communication was clear and the check-in process easy.

Be aware that the airport shuttle only runs every 40 minutes and is affected by traffic due to very busy roads. Ours was 30 minutes late on the way to the hotel, which would matter if trying to catch a plane on time.

Reception staff welcome and very helpful. Parking is safe for a long-term stay. Shuttle bus to airport comes straight at the hotel door. Bed is comfortable.

Room is a bit compact in space (to move around). Food in the restaurant is basic and not that great.

Lovely hotel.

Transfer to airport didn't start till 3:50a.m. and on return we had to wait 3 quarters of an hour for transfer bus back to hotel - not what we expected as thought transfer bus ran every 20 minutes but turned out to be every 45minutes

Lovely hotel, great for a stay the night before a flight. We ate in the restaurant which was really nice and the staff were great.

Loved the quirky red theme and the pics, scooter etc. really made your hotel stand out amongst the boring but functionally perfect hotels. Great soaps and creams too.

Absolutely everything was perfect so the cheap loose toilet seat stood out. Why scrimp on that?

It was a hot night and the a/ c was not switched on and the control panel was difficult to understand. Had to ask reception to activate the A/c system

The room was really good.

The location looks like it’s in the airport but it’s 2.5 miles away from the North Terminal. Food wasn’t great. Restaurant had only one employee do check in clients and clean tables at breakfast, meaning tables weren’t that clean. The fan in the room’s toilet wasn’t working. And the window in room didn’t open-

The lighting in our room was really too dim - it would have been difficult to read! Secondly, the breakfast buffet was half an hour too late starting, so no good for people with an early-ish flight

Accommodations were modern.

The cushion stink like fried chicken, the food at the restaurant wasn’t great ( we ordered chicken wing, they were completely wet inside probably because of being frozen food ). And even if it’s close to the airport, you need to take a shuttle that cost 5£ per person.

Location is good!

During the booking process, the hotel offered a shuttle service, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. However, at checkout, we were unexpectedly charged for this service. This was never mentioned as an additional cost during booking, and we find this practice very disappointing and unprofessional.

Staff are very helpful and welcoming

There was a buzzing noise in my room all night. The room wasn’t sound proof and I have a guess bang into my door and wake me up at 1.30am. The pillows are feathers which I couldn’t use due to allergies

Everything, The staff deserve praise, on the day we arrived the internet system was down, giving them some stress, they handled it in their stride.

We have stayed at radisson red in many locations

So I wonder this When was the last time the chef actually tasted his food i had a burger honestly dreadful. The girls who served were very pleasant for the whole meal in the restaurant some one was speaking Extremely loudly on the phone minimum 30 minutes not one member of staff said to him can you please stop people are trying eat .again a dreadful experience Not sure if I would stay again.

Location was perfect, the hotel shuttle from the airport was perfect. The room was fantastic,so clean and sooo good, the bed comfy and the decor was fantastic

Had ala carte dinner ordered fish and chips, worst food ever. Tasted terrible the batter on the fish was all wrong and the chips were also terrible.

Perfect for a late night/early morning stay for the airport as the shuttle was cheap and so close. Huge comfortable room! I’d recommend staying here!

Modern decor and very clean

Cleanliness was good. Sound proofing from planes noise was good. Good breakfast (I had it included), nice seating area. It's quite a good place to stay if you need a spot for a night close to Gatwick.

The details provided by the hotel about the shuttle from the airport was lacking, and it was hard to find the stop, understand which shuttle it was and when the next one was coming (it was middle of the day during a heatwave in London and I was after >24h of flights, so not great). For sure that can be improved into something simple, clear and more reassuring. While room sound proofing from planes noise was good, sound proofing between rooms was very poor. I could hear the person in the next room typing on Whatsapp!... Not to mention talking. The room felt dark - dark coloured walls, not enough lighting in the entrance area / near the mirror, no light in coffee/tea corner. There was no way to let fresh air in (sealed window). The overhead shower head was broken (handheld was fine). The stay wasn't cheap so I expected better.

It was convenient for the airport, £5 shuttle per person which took less than 10 mins, shuttle was on time in line with the timetable, comfortable enough for a one night stay.

It was clean but not immaculately clean, the hotel food was reasonably priced but not the best quality and it was extremely busy on Friday night so a long wait time. But you get what you pay for. Didn’t use the gym so can’t comment on facilities.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The drinks, dinner and breakfast were all good value for money. Loved the chilled out atmosphere hete.

The place was located at the best possible location from getting the runway view for aviation enthusiasts was very fascinating l. The staff at reception and bar were amazing. And at service all the time. Special thanks to Prateek for accommodating my requests.

Location - it’s not well connected to the airport and the shuttle is not available after hours. Arrived at 23:00 and missed the last shuttle. The local bus stops at a roundabout and not safe to walk to the hotel. Uber will cost you GBP 40 for a 5 min ride.

Great vibe, lovely staff, nice bar. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows all comfortable. Breakfast was warm and delicious. The Coach to the airport was easy to find from the North terminal, was right on schedule and cost and was resonable at 5 pounds.. This is the perfect airport hotel.

All was wonderful. This was my second stay there.

It is the usual airport hotel at a good normal price. It is clean and comfortable.

The bus service from the terminal is not included in the price. The shuttle bus costs £5 per person, and as we were a big family group, the bus ended up adding quite a bit to the price. The last service from the north terminal is 00:05, so if you arrive later you’ll need to take a taxi to reach the hotel.

Clean, quiet, comfortable bad

There is no coffee maker in the room, only junk instant coffee packets, but no real coffee anywhere, not even in the lobby downstairs. Guests must purchase a cup of coffee, but I didn’t have any foreign currency to buy a coffee in the morning. I’ve never been in a hotel without any REAL coffee anywhere.

The food was questionable. I had the burger which was cold. We then had people so drunk that they were up and down outside the rooms shouting and swearing, they the had a full blown row and we're eventually removed ed from the hotel. We managed to get around 3hrs sleep

Flughafen ist mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Personal sehr nett und bemüht. Haben Essen aufs Zimmer bestellt, welches sehr lecker schmeckte. Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Klimanalage und Smart TV. Leider funktionierte die Bildschirmspiegelung nicht.

Shuttle took over 40 minutes, AVOID! The whole point of staying at an airport hotel is it should take 5-10 mins to get there from leaving the airport. Ruined my plans. Shower was dirty.

The bar staff and food were very good. We both had the signature burger which was delicious. It was close to the car park we need to put the car in for the holiday.

Got there at 1630 receptionist was grumpy. When we got to the floor we had to navigate the corridor with the cleaner. Corridor was very dark. The bedroom door you could see the light from the corridor come from underneath so not a true fire door. Corridor door was wedged open with a towel all night, which wouldn’t have closed if there was a fire.
