The location to Gatwick while still close to restaurants and in a peaceful setting surrounded by abundant trees. The well appointed rooms with super comfy beds and linens. The breakfast buffet have a lovely variety of options!

No free shuttle to the airport- this has changed since our last stay. Now a large bus comes and it costs 10£ and you have to haul your bags up to lead them yourself. Last week stayed in the Crowne Plaza in Geneva and they had shuttle bus that was free and they took care of the bags.

The gentleman on reception was incredibly kind to me when I checked in very upset after being turned away from my flight at Gatwick due to an issue with my passport being over 10 years old. His kindness was what made my stay so comfortable at a terrible time. Thank you!

The garlic bread was burnt when delivered to my room.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and one of the highlights was definitely the food. Chef Idris made every meal truly memorable during the breakfast. A big thank you to Chef Idris and the staff for the excellent food and hospitality.

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt clean and well maintained. Both the air conditioning and shower worked very well, maintaining a consistent and comfortable temperature throughout my stay. Overall, I was satisfied with the room and found it comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast, however, was just adequate. While there was enough available, I felt the overall choice, quality and presentation could have been better.

lthough I was generally happy with my stay, there were a couple of areas that were disappointing and could certainly be improved. Breakfast: For breakfast, I ordered a very softly cooked, (French-style) cheese omelette. Unfortunately, what arrived was more like a pancake. It was overcooked on one side and undercooked on the other, and was not what I would expect from a properly prepared French-style omelette. Room: The room itself was comfortable and clean. However, when I opened the curtains, I was very disappointed to see that the outside of the window was extremely dirty, with a large amount of bird mess across the glass. This really spoiled the view and gave a poor impression, particularly as the rest of the room was well maintained.

We stayed for 19 days as a combination of business and personal holiday. Had a great time, we only had one minor maintenance issue and that was resolved within a couple hours while we were away. The service staff was great. They seemed to recognize enough they got comfortable speaking to us at breakfast and just generally making sure my wife and I were satisfied. Crawley isn’t the most happening place in the UK, but when I come back this place will be my first choice.

Where do I start from.the moment you arrive the reception staff are so lovely and helpful and truly care ! I have been to a few CPs like London and Plymouth This one at Gatwick they truly care ! Ask how you are and if u need anything else! Nothung is too much for them ❤️ A special thank you to Vijaya nothing is too nuch for her she goes beyond her role her customer service is second to none ! I have seen her interact with guests she is truly professional and never is sad or unhappy truly a remarkable person! Also a big thank you to Albert he is a true star too and goes beyond nothing is too much for him going out the way to locate a luggage trolley or giving advice and helping guests with any difficulties he is always alert and never keeps guests waiting and truly cares about people these two amazing staff members needs to be recognised and rewarded for their service ! Also ti the amazing other reception staff who are so lovely and helpful in every sense . The breakfast is really good needs improving though more choices like eggs benidict etc. I believe the Dinner menu needs improving I had the butter chicken curry the chicken was so dry and the sauce was covering it how dry it so was also the burger my partner had the bun was so hard it was inedibale . But the overall stay was truly lovely and from the restaurant staff are so attentive and care too . I will be returning end of month cant wait! ❤️❤️

Fridge wasn’t working but they brought me ice and offered to fix but I didn’t want workmen in my room as I was tired. Also the water pressure for shower in my room wasn’t great. But good enough.

I am very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The room was very clean, bright, and had a pleasant, fresh smell. The breakfast was varied and filling. I was especially impressed by the staff Aditya and Sophie, who were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was well maintained and room was cozy and very clean. Common spaces were well maintained as well.

Had to wait for staff for more than half hour to help me with my luggage in the car.

In reception I was lucky to be looked after by Sophie. Apparently a trainee, but this lady was seriously professional; beautifully courteous and overwhelmingly helpful to this very tired and not-very-frequent traveller.

Many of the other people staying at this hotel seemed rather brusque, rude and discourteous. It baffles me why people need to be so rude to staff who are clearly trying their hearts out to be as helpful as possible.

I am a very frequent traveler in the travel industry. The business rates would attract much more stays from me .

Half the car park was blocked off for a function thus restricting parking.

Good hotel, well located and easily accessible. Staiss is really courteous and happy to help. The lounge and restaurant is also well equipped with plenty food and drink options. Rooms and gym also good. Privana at restaurant is a good host and serves with smile.

Wonderful hotel for overnight stay prior to flying. We had a family room for one night (2 adults one child). Possibly the most comfortably beds in a hotel room. Fruit platter in the room along with bottled water (stayed in far more expensive 5 star hotels which provide neither). Breakfast was excellent and set us up for a long days travel ahead. Room was extremely quiet and had everything you could need. Check-in and out staff all super friendly - as were staff at breakfast. Whilst the room may be a little dated, the friendliness of staff and little touches more than make up for that. I’ve already booked again for October (that will be our 3rd booking for pre-Gatwick flights).

Stayed for a month for work and it was great. Rooms were small but well equipped. Breakfast was great. Privana was lovely and Alyssa is an absolute star! She always greeted me by name and was friendly and chatty 😊

Amazing experience. The employees were always friendly and attentive.

We stayed here sadly for one night, and the stay was awesome! We were checked in by Krish who was really professional, informative, and quick! He made us feel really welcomed! We had such an easy check in and a nice convo with him and the rest of the staff at the front desk. The day after, before heading to the airport, we stopped for breakfast. Out hostess was Alyssa and she, as well, was wonderful! She made sure that we were enjoying our time and that we received our order on time. We had a nice conversation with her as well, and she gave the whole place a really great vibe! All in all, would definitely stay here again, 10/10! Amazing people, amazing place!

This hotel was amazing great service brilliant breakfast arrived late as flight was delayed but the welcome we received was second to none, the buffet was topped up continuously, perfect eggs and choice of haddock if you wanted,i don't have to say anything else but just marvelous

The hotel itself has good facilities. What was disappointing, however, was the service at reception, which did not feel particularly friendly or welcoming. The hotel is redeemed by its restaurants and bars, where every member of staff was extremely kind and attentive.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, especially the peronalised omlet that was recomended to me by Marius Serban, very kind and helpfull staff member, no matter how busy it gets, he stops and listens to whatever my concern was. Thank you very much to to him and the rest of his coleagues for always beying warm and welcoming!

Open parking not that great, avoid the trees if you don't want bird droppings on your car.

That it is described as being at Gatwick airport but it's in fact a 15 minute drive away.

Every staff member from reception to restaurant to cleaning was exceptionally friendly, helpful and skillful. I can only recommend this place from the bottom of my heart and I look forward to coming back. I will miss my breakfasts ☺️

We had a really good time spending almost 7 Weeks (for Airline Job Training) in the Crown plaza Crawley! The best part of the day was the breakfast. Service Professionals Kavi and Victoria helped us out with everything we needed! Club Rooms have been really nice, super serviced, super clean. Himani greeted us at reception & gave us one of the best check in experiences ever. We mentioned we were travelling to celebrate a special birthday & she gave us complimentary drinks & points. The room was newly refurbished, quiet & comfortable with great pillows & a fantastic shower, good quality toiletries. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stop over on your travels.

Aditya from reception is a wonderful human being. He knows how to treat guests with the utmost humility and respect. I arrived late on Sunday, and he was quick to help. He enquired about my well-being, offered food, and, considering my long flight, was kind enough to upgrade my room to a club room. It was a quiet, peaceful room with all amenities. What can you ask for when you go to a different country and get treated like home by a wonderful person like Aditya? God bless this true soul for making me feel at home. There's another person who is magical with her smile - Vijaya from the restaurant. She was quick, kind, and enquired about my dietary preferences before providing me with options. She made me feel like someone was there to take care of me. I was wondering how she manages her duty with a continuous smile that brightens anyone's day during breakfast. If someone asks me about a beautiful memory from this trip, I would say meeting these two beautiful souls who made me feel at home. They took great care of me while I was away from home and busy with meetings all day. And here they were, treating me the best.

A ‘tired’ Crowne plaza. Facilities are getting old in the rooms (I believe some though have been renovated). But the older rooms are getting quite tired - frayed at the edges and old bath tubs rather than proper showers in bathroom too. I was however glad for the fantastic air conditioning in the rooms during the recent heatwave. What the hotel lacks in modernised rooms it more than makes up for it with fantastic friendly staff. Whether at checkout, breakfast or in restaurant/bar everyone is keen to be helpful. Breakfast has a mixture of hot breakfast items (sausages, eggs, hash browns, beans, mushrooms etc) bakery and cereals. Hot beverages machine available. Gets very busy especially with the amount of airline crews that stay there. Restaurant:bar has a staple dinner menu and variety of drinks. Close to Gatwick - use hotel shuttle bus or 10 mins on a local bus…
