How close it was to the paddington station

The size of the room was very small so i couldn’t open my suitcase properly but this was mentioned in the ad so nothing surprising

Perfect location

The cabin bed was very high, I’m just under 6ft and the mattress was level with my hip, had to climb up on the bed.

This was my 2nd time at Grand Hotel Bellevue, and the property continued to delight. Ibrequesrwd a cabin romm "as I has stqyed there last year"... I was rewarded with the same sweet little room! Make sure that you understand the cabin rooms are quite small, made so by the size of the bed! Large bed =standing room only! The bed is spacious and oh so comfortable! My cabin looks out over the neighborhood park! Storage space for shoes and bags is under the bed alone with a well stocked mini fridge. The bathroom is small, but the shower is plenty big. One must accommodate the tiny sink, really just large enough to wash hands. It's all good! The breakfast is delicious: tea, coffee, chocolate; granola, breads, dqiry free and regular yogurt, meats and cheeses. Superb staff!!

Si tratta di un hotel curato nei minimi dettagli. Appena si arriva si viene accolti da personale molto gentile e disponibile, che sa consigliare anche come muoversi al meglio. Gli interni dell'hotel sono molto belli e scelti con grande attenzione. Sia le sale comuni che la camera erano impeccabili, così come lo era la pulizia. Abbiamo visitato diversi hotel in Inghilterra ma non abbiamo mai visto una moquette così pulita e ben tenuta. Il bagno è compatto ma presenta tutto l'essenziale: la doccia ti fa sentire in una spa! Abbiamo apprezzato l'acqua in omaggio e la gentilezza dello staff. Ringraziamo Hiyori per essere stata disponibile ad aiutarci prima del nostro arrivo e, in modo speciale, Luigi che ci ha fatto sentire a casa accogliendoci da subito con il sorriso! Torneremo presto volentieri!!

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The team behind the hotel had obviously put a lot of time and money into making it feel like a boutique hotel.

It’s pretty much impossible to relax here thanks to the, quite frankly, abysmal soundproofing. The people next door may as well have been sharing my room. They got up at 3:35am to catch a flight from Heathrow, which meant I also got to enjoy their conversations, last-minute packing and coffee-making in impressively high-definition audio. I now know far more about their early-morning travel preparations than I ever expected to. I appreciate that hotels can’t control what time guests get up, but they can control the soundproofing. This was genuinely poor, and I think the hotel should at least make guests aware of it when booking. There were a couple of other issues too. The body soap in my room hadn’t been refilled, and the light next to the bed simply wouldn’t turn off. The only solution was to switch off all the electrics in the room, which also meant switching off the air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the year. A slightly unfortunate choice between sleeping with the light on or slowly roasting in the dark. Overall, not exactly the restful night I had in mind.

Beautiful place, room very small and the sink was so tiny it was impossible to wash my face without getting soaked. It’s in a great spot near the train station

The location was perfect for where we needed to be.

The room wasn’t small it was tiny. It was as though one room had been split into two. There was no room to move around. You couldn’t call the bathroom a bathroom due to its size. The people in the room next to us had a major argument in the early hours and it sounded as though they were in the room with us.

No hot water on the second day. Also, the power points on the bed wall did not work. I paid £330 for this room. Hard to believe it had-such poor facility. Hotel did not offer any discounts for the issues.

Conveniently located near Paddington Station for those who are arriving London by train. Approachable price point. Overall, rooms are well designed albeit small, and shared spaces are thoughtfully designed.

While proximity to train station is great, location of hotel and surrounds feels a bit questionable for a solo female traveler (especially in the evening). Walls are also extremely thin so you can easily hear conversations of other visitors.

Das Zimmer war klein, niedrig und durch die kleinen Fenster eher dunkel. Die Aussicht alles andere als Bellevue. Der Blick war auf eine dunkle Hauswand gegenüber. Dazu kam Baulärm.

Be-a-uttttiful property in such a sweet little spot close to Hyde park! Staff was very accommodating and able to get us a very early check in, which we appreciated after our red-eye. The small details of the room/building itself were lovely.

When they say compact room, they mean cooooompact! With 2 checked bags I felt like we were stumbling and climbing over each other and our things just to get to the bed. Not the end of the world, but definitely worth noting before schleping your big bags in!

The hotel is very clean. The location is wonderful, near the Paddington station. And it is very quiet, except for the noise from the rail line underground.

Breakfast is very simple and the room is small.

The fact there is a charge for a mini bar that has no prices displayed. The size of the room was not great. The bathroom was tiny not comfortable at all no wardrobe just 2 coat hangers and a fold away rack. Overall disappointing if you spend anytime in your room you are forced to be in bed there is no room at all.

日中のフロントスタッフは凄く感じが良かったです。 チェックアウト後に荷物を預けていて、スーツケースを受け取りに行った際に携帯の充電も快く応じて下さいました。

お値段の割に凄く狭かったです。手を洗うシンクがこれまで見たことのない小ささでした。水道のバルブは普通サイズでそのシンクが小さく、バランスが悪く、手を洗う時に水が飛び散りそうになりました。 バスタブは無く、シャワーでそれは分かっていたことなので、大丈夫でしたが、シャワーカーテンがかなり短く、シャワーの際には床なかなり濡れました。お湯はちゃんと出ました！

Great location. Super close to Paddington for the tube and for the Heathrow express. Bus stop right on the corner, many restaurants and pubs nearby. Walking distance to the Canals.

The room was super small even though the receptionist said that he’d upgraded us. I can only imagine what size the previous room was. AND there was no closet or drawers or even a suitcase rack would have been helpful. They had three hangars on the wall so high up I had to keep asking my husband to hang my coat up. Everything else was great but I would never stay there again for longer than a couple of nights until they get that fixed.

The AC was too hot and could not control it at all. You either had to turn it off or on. No temperature control.

Location is fantastic, and the whole hotel is so elegant and at same time soooo cozy, and very particular like you are on a cruise...you have to go and see! It was spotless, as always....it's my favourite hotel in London!

Staff was nice and cleaning staff was outstanding. They not only cleaned but folded up my stuff.

The room was *tiny..* I had read that they were very small, but this was like a capsule hotel with a minibar. Do not recommend for this reason

The location was excellent. We felt really safe and found the huge train station super helpful to get anywhere we needed. You can also walk to most parks/royal sites within Westminster.

On arrival the young lady checking us in spoke super quickly and rushed us through not giving me time to read what I was signing as she would shove her finger to the sign section. I had noticed a construction site next door and politely inquired on the time they start and how noisy that was going to be which she dismissed, avoid questions and handed me earplugs. The soundproofing was more than adequate I just wish she answered my questions instead of ignoring me. She then proceeded to rush us off and I couldn’t tell you a thing she said as it was all a fast passed script she rattled off. Customer service isn’t hard and they didn’t deliver on first impression. The room is small but cosy, no aircon, shower curtain needs to be replaced it’s mouldy. Overall we had an okay stay. Wouldn’t return though. I

Great location! The hotel is very close to Paddington station. Lovely interior and decor. Beautiful finishes and friendly staff.

The rooms are tiny. The bathroom is so small you can barely turn around. The closet is only half size. Nowhere to hang long items. The bar is closed on Sundays.

Das Hotel war recht sauber und die Lage sehr gut.

Das "Design" Konzept ist wirklich nur ein Verkaufsargument. Die Betten haben einen sehr hohen Einstieg sodass meine Mutter nicht ohne Hilfe hineinsteigen konnte. Zunächst wurde mir dann als Lösung ein teueres Zimmer (für Aufpreis) angeboten, erst auf wiederholte Nachfrage bekamen wir einen Tritt zum Einstieg. Die Größe der Zimmer ist wirklich klein aber letztlichausreichend, jedoch ist die dünne der Wände wirklich lächerlich. Ich könnte nachts jedes Gespräch aus dem Zimmer nebenan mithören. Auf der Matratze waren leider auch Haare, sonst war es allerdings sehr sauber.

Great London visit. Enjoyed BBC Proms. Nice day trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and bath. Hotel was great and great location close to Paddington station.

Great location with eateries and Paddington Station close by. We had a room that overlooks the park which was pleasant. Smallish bathroom but a great shower. The lifts and air-conditioning works well. Good security.

The room was smaller than an inside cruise ship cabin and not enough hanging space for clothes. There's not enough space to have 2 suitcases open and no chair to sit on. The bed was comfortable but was waist high and only accessible on one side as it was pushed against the window. It's difficult for us, an older couple, to get into bed without the use of a step and nothing to grab on to. Great to have a safe but it's located at floor level.

Everyone was professional and friendly. The room was tight with a king bed, but that's to be expected in London. The furnishings and feel were top-notch. I will be back.

How welcoming the staff are, good location and clean.

Room was small but we were out exploring every day so it didn’t matter too much.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the doorman who kindly helped with my luggage and set the tone for my stay. The concierge team were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. My room, though compact, was thoughtfully designed and very cosy. The double-walled doors offered privacy and quiet, and I felt completely safe and comfortable—truly a home away from home.

While the lighting in the room was a little dim and a wall light wasn’t working, this did not affect my stay. The overall experience far outweighed this minor detail, and I left with only positive memories.

Location - perfect to Paddington Hotel and staff - lovely Cabin room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in, in a hotel. It was a late check in and so we only needed it for sleep. I didn’t realise until check in, they had to take a £50 per person deposit incase you ate the in room mini bar snacks. I was too scared to even use the slippers as I didn’t want to get charged. I couldn’t see a price list for the bar snacks in the room. It was comfortable and we slept fine. We had to leave early so we didn’t have the breakfast (£25 per person!) grabbed a cheaper alternative on route.

I have been sent an invoice to which I have been charged breakfast when we did not eat or stay long enough to do so. Will edit the review, once rectified. This has really annoyed me, taking my money unlawfully, it’s hardly a cheap hotel to start with.

Despite the smaller room category, the attention to detail, the quality of the finishes, and the overall ambiance made my stay thoroughly enjoyable. For travelers seeking both comfort and style without breaking the bank, the Grand Hotel Bellevue is a hidden treasure I would wholeheartedly recommend.

My partner and I had an incredible stay at the Grand Hotel Bellevue. We were in town for a wedding and we needed somewhere in the Paddington area to be near other guests, and the Grand Hotel Bellevue was recommended from another friend who has stayed there. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! We stayed in an Executive Room, which was a good size for the two of us and had a small terrace (which wasn’t accessible, but did provide additional natural light). We were there during a warm week in the summer, and the A/C was highly effective and kept us cool. The location of the hotel was also especially convenient — an easy arrival from the airport via the Heathrow Express, just a few tube stops or a leisurely walk to the main attractions, and around the corner from Hyde Park. The best part of our trip was the staff. My partner surprised me with decorations and cupcakes for my birthday, and he coordinated with the staff in advance for recommendations and delivery before we arrived. They also wrote me a personal birthday card. They were so warm and welcoming. The boutique nature of the hotel makes it feel like a home away from home, including booking private access to the small gym (it can really only fit 1-2 people). We never took advantage of the bar, as we were mostly on the go outside of the hotel, but it was great to know it was an option and was very cute. Overall, we’re so happy with our selection and would definitely choose the Grand Hotel Bellevue for our next visit.

I liked that it was very clean and close to Paddington station and underground, and there were a lot of restaurants very close by.

Nieskazitelna czystość pokoju i łazienki - bielutka pościel i ręczniki sprawiały że odpoczynek był niesamowicie komfortowy. Ogromny plus to lokalizacja oraz utrzymanie klimatu hotelu w stylu odpowiadającym londyńskiej architekturze

Umywalka w łazience była bardzo mała - chcąc nie chcąc, przy normalnych czynnościach takich jak mycie rąk, czy twarz, niestety wylewało się wodę na podłogę... Brak szafy i miejsca na odłożenie/ odstawienie walizki oraz ubrań - na 1/2 noce OK, natomiast w przypadku dłuższego pobytu wpływałoby to na komfor korzystania z pokoju

Had trouble booking with the Hyatt Globalist program but I don’t hold it against the hotel since the front desk handled the issue well through a direct phone call. As the other reviews state the rooms are small but since I was traveling on my own for most of my stay it was perfectly fine. I just had to be careful turning on the water otherwise it would spray all over. The linens and toiletries were very nice. I even went so far as to buy some of the lotion at a local boutique. Breakfast was the same every day but there was enough variety to be satisfying. The location was very convenient- several minutes from Paddington station and bus stops.

The room was noisey and the door is close to the next room so you can hear loud door opening and closing. The bathroom shower curtain had mold on it. The mini bar had several items missing on arrival which I brought to the attention of reception staff as i did not wish to be charged for items that I did not consume. The girls at reception were pleasant however their manager was not so. I did not feel welce and left earlier than planned even though I could have had an extended check out as a gold member.He was not interested in appeasing a situation and seemed to have very poor people skills so I am not sure how he became a manager.

We got one of the smaller room and it was small but I did know that going in. Bathroom sink was tiny and you couldn't wash your hands without gettting the floor wet, but the shower was good size. Lots of food options in the area and a beautiful are of new building and food option along the canal just a couple of blocks north of the hotel.
