the carpet could have used some vaccuming, bit loud during the night - street in the front, fans from air conditioning in the back. bed sheets not the cleanest, some chairs would have been nice

No drop off point on busy road. Ask for car parking provision if they have any but no reply. Most disturbing things is making the double bed by joining the twin bed. Middle of the bed hard and uneven. Could not sleep.

I moved to the apartment,however the last 2 nights of my stay was a bit frustrating. There was an alarm beeping in the flat that could not be resolved by the technicians. My kids and therefore had long nights as we could not sleep in the noise

De toegangscodes waren niet tijdig verstuurd. Er stonden nergens duidelijke instructies hoe je 'hulp' kon inroepen. wanneer je boeking.com volgt, kom je bij een Indisch callcenter terecht die je gebrekkig verder helpen. Na 45min uiteindelijk de codes verkregen om dan in een kamer te komen zonder airco, veel stof en een met roofing bedekt "dakterras"

The location was very good, just walking distance from Ilford station. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. and had air conditioned which was much needed during such hot weather. There was complimentary breakfast.

The room was slightly smaller. Toilet paper holder was broken. Bed was double bed but mattresses were two single mattresses and it would be better to have double mattress on double bed.

If the weather is hot or you don't like hard beds, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Summary: + Room gets hot even at night and they won't let you change the AC temp to lower than 20 degrees. There was NO WINDOW + The beds for twin rooms are tiny, i barely had room to move and the mattress was like sleeping on the floor, really hard and not comfortable. The room was about 28 degrees at 11pm and the lowest temp on the AC you could set was 20 degrees. The room was not getting any cooler and I had a flight to catch at 4am so I needed sleep but as it was too hot i could not sleep. The hotel locked the AC so the lowest could be 20 degrees. I don't know why they were being cheap on this, all other hotels allow guest to set the room to a cool temp. I had to call the hotel to ask them to lower the temperature, one staff told me 20 is very cold and should be enough. I told him the room is 28 degrees, i need to sleep but its too hot in the room and would not change the temperature. I had to call again and this time it was 1am some other guy picked up and changed it to 19 degrees even though i asked for a cooler temperature. They would only degrees the temperature by 1 degree. I don't know what kind of money saving technique this was but I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone

I would like to make a complaint about the receptionist who was on duty at night. He was very rude, shouted a lot, and spoke to guests in an unprofessional manner. His behaviour was completely unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable. I hope the hotel management will take appropriate action to ensure this does not happen again.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help, making our stay enjoyable.

Overall, everything was good. The breakfast could offer a little more variety, but it was still enjoyable.

The bed was firm and the AC worked well. The Hans Grohe shower fixtures are good.

The carpet was filthy, there was a disgusting surprise left by a previous guest the cleaners either missed or it happened after cleaning. Could also be the room wasn't cleaned at all. The carpet needs replacing. The walls need repainting, sheets had stains. It was way overpriced for the location and cleanliness. They advertised a king bed but had just shoved together two twins (that's not king size, btw). The breakfast was pastries bought off the shelf at a grocery store. Nice selection of milks. Breakfast is in a basement room with a small window near the ceiling.

Initially promising

Dirty room, dust on skirting, grooves in walls, some surfaces, room not hoovered - dirt and large particles on floor, textured stains on walls and bed of different colours, rust on radiator, no upkeep, security deposit requested despite rooms needing upkeep where previous security deposits should have been used for reinvestment. Staff not supportive or understanding. Only other room offered was as dirty and had a foul odour.

Location was great. Property is relatively new I guess and it was pretty clean. The service was good. Breakfast was provided.

Nothing much. Seating arrangements in the breakfast area could be better. No parking.

The whole place was emasculate was at first disappointed as location was hard to park. But on entering wow everything was unexpected the best quality and comfort money could buy. Will be back next time I’m back from Ireland. Keep it up.

The Ilford Grand Hotel has the potential to be great hotel but cleanliness of the hotel is poor. The carpet was dirty and there was hair all over the bed. Hopefully the hotel will get to live up to its name one day. The shower gel was so small.

The hotel was clean, neat and minimalist. Budget and family friendly. We had the quad room, they made it into a queen and two twins. Room and hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and had soap, shampoo, towel. There was a mini fridge, kettle and tea/coffee sachets. Dont expect luxurious decor. Overall worth the money and comfortable.

The shower drained slowly, some chocolate stains on curtain, could have had a chair in the room, but thats it.

The apartment was very spacious , beds were comfortable, lovely park close by and close to train station, supermarket 24 hrs

A really enjoyable stay from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were warm, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and everything was exactly as described. We appreciated the convenient location and the great value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.

Breakfast room. Needs better attendance by kitchen staff , not cleaners. We know breakfast is included but not fancy. But the cleaning crew needs to clean the tables more often than they do..

The location was ideal for what we needed, as we had a concert at the London Stadium. The air con was much needed, we glad of it. The bathroom was very clean

The bed was hard as nails, never had to sleep on a mattress like it! Possibly a very cheap make. The wooden bedframe was sharp on the corners we both caught our legs. The carpet needed a good hoover felt like there were bits all over the floor even when we checked in and hadn't been in the room for long. The cleaners did come and give new towels but no hoovering was done. The toilet roll holder was broken and the plug socket wasn't fixed to the wall properly on the right hand side of the bed.

It was handy, local to shops and other amenities. Staff were helpful and friendly. The Aircon in the room is fabulous.

The cleanliness was below average. No proper toiletries supplied No drinking water supplied. Bedding was dirty, with hair and stains left from previous guests. Toilet was not clean.

It was really great to have air conditioning during hot days, plus the conditioning system itself was very good, it's central and can be easily regulated and it's not blowing directly into you, so you can even sleep at night with it being switched on. The room and bedding were clean, the shower worked well. There was a fridge in a room and a kettle with some coffee and tea. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was modest but it was a nice bonus, so can't really complain.

The mattress was very hard, therefore it made difficult to sleep. Also it would be nice to have some more lighting options e.g. bedside lamp, as the main lighting is too bright for the evening, when you want to relax. The room was quite small, but that was already expected from the description, so no surprise there. The area isn't the best, however there is a direct train going to Liverpool st., which makes it not that far from central London.

Very helpful receptionist to allocate us a quier room as requested so had an undisturbed sleep.

Complementary breakfast was a nice touch. Ilford Grand Hotel is an affordable option close to the Elizabeth Line, with lots of amenities nearby including a Tesco, Wetherspoons and many restaurants.

Room could have been cleaner. There was a big coffee spill stain on the wall, and a dirty mark on the carpet, but aside from this the room was satisfactory.

Staff are smiley and try to help all the time. Beside alot of restuarants and supermarkets

Internet has aome issues. Room is smaller than my expectation. Water is not good. Soup and shampoo is not good. Corridors are very narrow. Pictutes of the hotel not matches with actual sizes of rooms and lobby

Location only 5mins walk from station. We didn't think there would be breakfast so that was a bonus! It was a plentiful continental but unlimited!

Beds were a tiny bit hard but that's just personal preference .
