The Woden Boutique Hotel Walsall M6 J9

Value for money

Location was poor

Although the hotel wasn't staffed, they were able to be contacted without any problem. Access information came through via email making it easy for us to get straight into our room when we arrived. When we entered the premises we were very impressed with the decor. There was a lovely notice welcoming us to the hotel in our room, which was a nice touch. The room and en suite were spotless. We had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend this venue.

There were no negatives

Everything about the stay was great. Booking and confirmation was easy and well-explained. Check in is essentially any time on the day once the room is ready and is available through a personal code. The room was perfect and clean for an overnight stay with a very firm bed. Small car park at the side with no charge. All needed amenities. Perfect. No admin to check out. Just leave and let them know. Would definitely stay again.

Not anything urgent for an overnight stay stay

Lovely room with everything you could need, including a fridge and microwave. The toiletries and cutlery were a lovely touch, and I especially appreciated the travel cup, which came in very handy when I was rushing to catch my train. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, making for a restful stay. It was also very quiet, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a really lovely stay!

None

Lovely big room. Clean. Modern. Good bed. Sundries like hot chocolate. Decent en-suite with shower. Lovely overall decor in the building. Kitchen and washing machine was available.

Is not soundproofed. Luckily no Saturday night parties or domestics, but could hear chatter in corridor, plates in kitchen etc. would have liked to be able to switch off en-suite light at night (on a timer). Tv too small or pop it on a bracket on the nearer bigger wall. Expensive for what is was with no onsite staff

Ligging, faciliteiten, netheid

Temperatuur kamer veeeeel te hoog (30 graden) geen airco.

Great location for Alexander Stadium. Good room, comfortable bed, good facilities in the room.

Coukd not get toaster and induction hob to work in the kitchen.

No restaurant there so no breakfast

No fault of the place but between the all night noise outside and the suffocation of the heat of the rooms we never slept for two nights.

Lovely and clean, communication great .

It was really hot and the fan wasn’t particularly good.

Very clean and well maintained. Beds very comfortable for good night's sleep. Lovely room and nice and quiet. Would we book here again when in the area,? Yes without hesitation

Nothing

Loved the style and decor of the Woden hotel. Loved the upgraded room. The bed was so comfortable and lovely linen. Loved having the fridge and microwave in the room, and even better, the communal kitchen which was well equipped. We would have used the facilities more, but there is a wetherspoons literally a stone's throw away and it's so cheap for breakfast, opening at 8am. The muffin with egg was fabulous, along with the coffee... The room was a good size, plenty of room and the ensuite bathroom was too, shower was great, good pressure, and was very clean. Considering you are by a big road, you couldn't hear any traffic. It was very quiet. Great location.

Nothing.

All fabulous, especially the balcony.

Bed against the wall.

A very welcoming establishment, very clean and has everything you need for a stay. And parking which is always a bonus.

Perfect finishes, lovely and quiet, great facilities. Will be staying regularly for work.

Nothing

The Wooden Boutique is exceptionally good value. The facilities are very good, beds very comfortable. Whenever I am in this area it will always be my first choice.

Everything staff was lovely room was great

Nothing to moan about

Excellent value-for-money hotel, ideally located. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms.

Comfortable and clean

Air conditioning would help on very hot days

The rooms are very clean, comfortable. Great location. Staff are very helpful.

The room was spacious and clean, very close to all amenities. Home from home .

Clean, easy to access and comfortable

The toilet seat and bath mat weren’t very clean

Everything about this stay was perfect. The room was so clean and modern. I got a free upgrade. You have kitchen facilities and utensils which make staying easier (not always having to go out to eat). The building was quiet, well located and real thought has gone into the experience. Loved it.

Nothing.

Location of the property was close to amenities and businesses I was visiting. Very easy check in process and good communication

The downside for myself was the replenishing of coffee and tea etc.

Great location for the hospital. Clean & Comfortable as always. Love having a fridge & microwave. Car parking now fenced, a great addition

Cleanliness and fast response from the team. They upgraded me for free and always ready to help with any problem or issue. I enjoyed my stay at the property.

The quality of the whole hotel. And a perfect location.

Don't like having to leave on Monday for work

Location perfect for what we needed.

Only a little thing, but a mirror on the dressing table would have been helpful.

Was clean luxurious and fairly priced

Free on site parking Great room facilities Very comfy bed

Bathroom light was on a sensor and didn’t turn off all night so light was shining into bedroom from around the door which was VERY annoying. A lot of noise from other guests up to 01:30am.

Tutto molto pulito e la disposizione di tutto il necessario

Great communications before arrival. Very clean and comfortable room. Good desk space for working and all of the small extras I didn't expect decent fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. Quiet but very easy reach of motorway. Much better than m/way services hotel.options.

Been using the Wodenbridge for a long time and without exception it is clean, tidy, well presented and ideal for my work location. Jay is always quick with comms. A new fence has been put up around the car park which is good.

Nothing.

The communication with the staff was excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Facilities were brilliant. Lovely and quiet. Would definately book The Woden Boutique again. Very impressed. 😃😃👍

The Manager Jay was exceptionally responsive, helpful and polite to my queries!

Large room, well appointed and quiet.

Very easy to check in and out. I had a small problem with my room lock but the host was available at 1am straight away so that was great. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable and the kitchen was a brilliant addition.

Nothing, it was all fabulous.

Good location Clean and parking on site

I think at this price point you couldn’t complain

Super clean and offload parking

Super comfy bed. Slept like a log

Great location, very comfortable beds, en-suite has a hot and powerful shower, easy parking, simple check in process, extremely quiet unlike most hotels that have doors banging from all hours.

Nothing, all perfect

Clean and location

Comfortable clean room Good ‘in room’ facilities including fridge and microwave, and bowls, plates and cutlery. Complimentary water provided. Good shower in clean bathroom.

Heavy noisy doors

Room spotless Communication seamless

Beautiful property they have thought of everything you possibly need . Is a boutique hotel very nice 👌

Nothing

Clean, comfortable, everything worked as it should

The location if perfect for me as it is a few minutes walk from my fiancé’s family’s home. The room is always immaculate, with all the facilities you could want, iron, fridge, microwave etc. The bathroom is spotless, the rainfall shower is amazing. The bed, for me is firm, which I prefer. Overall, just what I need when I’m travelling.

You can hear other guests of the hotel through the walls, which has disturbed my sleep on occasion, but not enough to be a major complaint.

Very clean and well equipped. Great location for a wedding party we were attending. Less than 5 min walk

A little late getting code for entry. But as soon as I emailed, I got a reply straight away and a code within a few minutes .

Lovely 2 night stay whilst attending my friends wedding, very clean & cosy. Easy check in process, staff ~ Jay Manager very helpful. Definitely recommend if staying in this area ☺️

It was really clean and well presented. Not having a reception actually worked really well and all communication was received as expected.

Nothing was all exceptional

Location and price

all good

This place.is always clean..easy to park. Has good facilities the best showers and the most comfortable beds ever and always accommodating to mine and my families needs. We had 3 rooms this time and everyone was perfect.

NOTHING

I enjoyed a spacious, clean and comfortable room, affording an excellent night's sleep. Communication with the hosts was good and access to my room was an easy keyless system. No danger of losing the keys!

All good.

Convenient for working at the hospital, free parking. Excellent communication from the manager. Easy to access, very safe. Actually when working in Walsall this is the only place I stay

Convenient location

Very high tech, safe and easy to enter. Super clean and everything you would need to have in a room

One floor tile broken… could be dangerously and cut somebody’s foot

Got a free upgrade Easy access as it was a non staff hotel

There was nothing

All good and clean

Jay gave us an earlier check in time and upgraded the room.

A coffee machine rather than instant coffee, but I realise this may be impractical!

Very clean, good communication from manager, and parking.
