Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Although the room was spacious, I found the lack of staff on arrival and during the day very impersonal. Also I was concerned that there were 15 steep stairs to my room. I am almost 83 and having to carry a suitcase up the stairs worried me. If I fell I could be lying there for hours until the next guest arrived.

Ontbijt was zeer matig verzorgd en maar heel weinig keuze. Er was geen rekening gehouden met een tafel voor 3. Personeel wat aanwezig was niet gericht op de gasten.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Großes komfortables und gemütliches Zimmer, alles funktionierte einwandfrei und war modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das kontinentale Frühstück wurde liebevoll zubereitet und auch frisches Obst war reichlich vorhanden. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich und gab gute Tipps. Parkplatz kein Problem.

La prima notte il letto era piccolissimo, abbiamo dovuto dormire "testa-piedi". La seconda notte ci hanno spostato in una stanza con un letto alla francese ma di dimensione normale.

In unserem Zimmer hatte der Boden ein Gefälle. Weiß nicht, ob es damit zusammen hing, dass ich schlecht geschlafen habe. Der Kopf lag durch das Gefälle tiefer. Matratze sehr weich. Bett für zwei etwas zu schmal.

The continental breakfast was delicious, enjoyed in a comfortable eating area. Kim was very friendly and exceptionally helpful as we planned our time in Tain and nearby areas.

Continental breakfast, great choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cheese, toast, crumpets, juice, teas and coffee. Kim was friendly and very knowledgeable on the area and gave us some pointers of where to go in Tain. A great stay, thank you.

Staff were lovely both mornings and the breakfast was perfect for our needs. Thank you for a lovely break it was long overdue.
Bed was a bit small and our room was on a slight slant which felt weird lol

Reviewed Nov 10, 2025INVERNESS向北的自驾的路上遇到了超级大雾，能见度不足十米，无法看清车道两侧是麦田还是悬崖。在去酒店之前我们去了附近的一个灯塔，在距离灯塔几十米的位置，灯塔消失了。 临时预订的这家酒店，酒店位置距离市中心一步之遥，房间舒适。我喜欢一层门厅的装修，一切都很温馨而舒适。早餐遇到了热情的工作人员，应该是酒店的房东，跟我们闲聊说她的儿子在格拉斯哥，过段时间要去格拉斯哥看望她儿子。 祝福他们一切顺利！

Referring to the breakfast as Continental Breakfast could lead to a little disappointment as breakfast on the continent generally includes cheese, cold meats and eggs. None of those were on offer, however what was on offer was plentiful and very good. WiFi was patchy. Even at 2am in an almost empty hotel, sites were reporting poor connections and failing to load. These were simple, straightforward sites such as the weather forecast or news sites. Those pages would normally open instantly elsewhere.
