The breakfast was amazing with so much to choose from. Can’t fault the place and 10/10. Would highly recommend for a relaxing start (or finish) to the NC500.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026Super Gastgeber, freundlich und hilfbereit. Die Zimmer schlicht, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, frisch gekocht, reichhaltig und nachhaltig. Ruhig in einer Seitenstraße gelegen mit Privatparkplatz. Wir haben dort sogar den Großteil unseres Gepäcks auf den Motorrädern gelassen. Restaurants und Tesco fußläufig erreichbar (Ich empfehle das Restaurant Platform 1864 im alten Bahnhofsgebäude) Glenmorangie Destillerie mit dem Taxi 5min /10£ Ein super B&B, vielen Dank

Generously sized single bed, almost a small double! En-suite with shower was really good. Breakfast was superb, tasty and well portioned. Shandwick House is one of those little gems you find on booking.com and keep it on your radar for future visits. Owner was warm, friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for money

We had a spacious room with wonderfully comfortable chairs to relax in, a great bed and an excellent shower. In the morning we enjoyed a generous breakfast, all taken care of by a cheerful and friendly host, right in the centre of town. There was nothing left to wish for.
