Location and getting into room no hassle and checking out
Large tv but no stations available and it's not connected to WiFi so couldn't even cast my mobile
Great location. Value for money. The man Craig(I think his name was) was very friendly and helpful. Very safe key code to get into the rooms and into the building after a certain time. Shop just down at reception very handy!
We didn’t get in and I have applied for my money back and not had a response because they were charging 1000 pound deposit
We wasn’t aloud in over charging for apartment and didn’t get my money back
It’s located right in the heart of the city centre. The pubs are just outside the hotel, so there’s no need to worry about how to get home even when it’s very late. And, of course, my favourite fast food, Jollibee, is also just outside the hotel!
Location was brilliant, beautiful room and bathroom.
The room was very hot, no windows in the room to open or air con.
Location
There was huge silverfish in the bath and little ones in the bed. Asked for a room change or new bedding was basically told room change wasn’t available at that time (it was late at night) and someone would be up with sheets (no one came) also leak in the ceiling ++
The staff were friendly and helpful. And the security deposit was paid back into my bank promptly with no issues. Great location right near everything. Literally on the doorstep.
Rooms are slightly warm in the summertime, however a fan is provided. Shouldn’t be a problem in colder months.
Hotel and staff were excellent room was lovely and staff very polite
We stayed in room 9 and there was a 'family' in room 10 that sounded like a group of kids that shouted and screamed non stop till 6.30am so getting sleep was almost non existent.
When booking we were expecting a kitchenette but there was only a kettle.
Was all lovely
Wanting for pending transactions to back into my bank accounts
Staff Beds comfy Location
Sink didn’t drain and lots of damp on silicon in bathroom so although clean felt dirty No jacuzzi bath as requested Plug for kettle- difficult to put somewhere safe with kids needs placing higher by table
Quirky, very local to sights, bars etc
Very very dark inside the room, couldn't see inside the wardrobe even with the lights on I had to put my torch light on my phone and wardrobe not situated very good, not enough room to open wardrobe doors fully. Door to room was very loose and could not be locked from inside, and as a solo traveller, this made me feel uneasy. Very stuffy and hot in room as no windows can be opened and stand up fan wasn't adequate enough.
Big, just that
Dirty, veeery noisy we realised it is a party and other things hotel once there, but the horrible situatikn was thae we were bitten by bedbugs. We have booked for 2 nights and left in a hurry after the first one.
Location is great, right in the centre of Liverpool with all the shops and the amenities it has to offer, yet very quiet at night and a stone throw from Lime Street Station. Exceptionally spacious room, comfy beds and lots of character. The staff was very helpful, easy check-in and out. No faffing with keys, but an easy code for the door. Overall a great experience.
The inability to open the window (but I understand that's in the nature of the building) and the position of the bathtub, not the easiest to get out of especially for kids and the elderly. Having said that, it didn't prevent us from enjoying our stay. Thanks a lot.
Central location. Decent sized room with everything you need.
Downside was when we booked through booking.com,we paid the full amount up front and no.mwntion of additional charges at all. Arrived at the apartment and the girl at the reception told us there was a charge of £50 per person which would be refunded if no damage was caused to the room. Took 3 weeks to get the money back after we checked out.
Amazing location, literally in the centre of the amazing Mathew st
I had booked an apartment with a kitchen.. arrived to be questioned why I booked an apartment for 15 people? I hadn’t realised.. But then half the apartment locked which I would understand if partially refund offered? House maid exceptionally polite and pleasant and we would visit again
stepped on broken glass in the bathroom on the fist morning of our stay, advised reception at 11am that the bathroom had obviously not been cleaned properly before we arrived and that there were shards of glass on the bathroom floor, came back at 7pm that evening and the glass was still on the bathroom floor, advised reception again! Came back at 11pm to the room again and yet again glass still on the floor.
Great location Spacious rooms Luggage store 24hour shop attached
Beds weren’t comfy, or sofa bed was though. The bath looked filthy but was assured it was where the paint was worn. Not an issue for us as we wore earplugs but it’s very noisy at night
Plenty of room, clean and very good location.

Good location
Let's get this straight. This is not a hotel. It's a glorified Airbnb. There is no room service or room cleaning. There is no breakfast or any on site dining options. There is no phone in the room or means of easily contacting reception. I would rather it was advertised as an Airbnb type property upfront to adjust expectations
Location
The fact i had to pay a £400 deposit on check in and it can take upto 30 days to get refunded is absolutely disgraceful
Eravamo in 9, abbiamo preso il loft all'ultimo piano. Camera veramente simpatica con idromassaggio. Se possibile consiglio questa soluzione.
Good location. Easy excess.
Was a bit dusty and didn’t have kitchen tap.
The room was really nice and had tons of natural light
I wish the aircon was a little stronger, as it got quite hot
Location was great, and easy to get into.
The room was dated, the bath looked a little less than clean and there was a smell from the drains. Due to the heat wave the room was unbareable to sleep in as no ventilation or access to open any windows. There was a fan but it just blew hot air around the room.
The location is amazing 🤩
Absolutely nothing. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. We refused to stay there and left even before we’d seen our room due to the fact that there was a hidden £200 deposit which was NOT mentioned on booking.com. The terms and conditions were essentially impossible to access and there page on booking.com was extremely difficult to navigate.
Staff unfriendly. Hidden costs and then we apparently had to pay the £200 deposit despite the fact that we didn’t even stay there. Pressuring people into paying hidden costs is nothing short of daylight robbery.
It was spacious and good price also
Needed more light selection on the room maybe another lamp if I had to be petty
All super
Nothing
Spacious as there was ten adults and three young children. Clean, tidy , great location. Great for what we wanted.

Location and place was very nice and friendly staff
Far to hot no windows or aircon so was very uncomfortable
Great location and so comfy
No air con and no windows that open
The staff were friendly and helpful to a point
On arrival I was asked to pay a security deposit,Using my bank card which I did..The young girl at reception couldn't confirm the room otherwise..My group of 3 combined have an age of 185..The girl explained it was for Damages..Apon Check out, I asked when this security deposit of £150 would return to my account. I was told up to 30 days..After confirming no damage had occurred..I checked my account details and it was pending until the day of check out..When it should have been returned..The reception then informed me that they didn't handle the deposit but it went to a third party..I find this unacceptable and found no fault with the Hotel staff with the issue, but definitely with the Hotel corporate policies ..And would like my money returned from them ASAP..
The location was excellent right beside everything and the room had Everything you needed
Queens apartments Liverpool second to none

Closeness to Matthew street

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect (just next to The Cavern). Lots to see and do very close by making touring on foot easy.
The beds were a bit worn, I could feel the springs in my bed, but not the other one.
The room is too hot , the fun is not working
Great location ,great value
Couldn’t open windows
Great location, good rooms, nice design
Didn't see the £100 deposit upon arrival in the small print caught me off guard, I prefer to pay deposit in advance if necessary, said it can take up to a month to get back which let's it down abit
The staff were friendly, and to the extent that they were able, were helpful. The kids loved the giant rooms and beds.
Where to begin. One month later and our security deposit has been returned I think I am now safe to offer my honest feedback. 'Paint it black, but put a chandelier in the bathroom' seemed to be the decor instruction. All black tiles, pinned cushion, floor ceiling. Looks cool in the photos, close up you see everything is grubby. Would be great for doing lines off, or for a porn set. Many fixtures in bathroom broken. Strangely, kitchen was very well stocked, with DOZENS of cutlery sets. Speaking of porn set...if the noise of early morning loudspeakers outside our window to deter the youth from loitering was bad enough, the sound of frequent loud...and I mean loud shagging in the room next door at 6pm, midnight and 6 a.m. was quite tricky to explain to the kids. Luckily the TV could be turned up. The poor security guy was very helpful in response to our midnight request to ask the neighbours to keep it down. The 🔥 alarm was weird. It went off and no one did anything. Poor young woman on the front desk appeared to be talking to the owner on the phone who seemed to be instructing her on how to turn it off. Given the constant aroma of weed outside our room, I can't say I was confident there was NOT a fire. Apparently the alarm 'just does that sometimes.' God help anyone if there was a fire, - staff appeared under trained and resourced. Overall, if you're a location scout for the adult movie scene, an escort, or a dealer, you've hit the jackpot. If you're a family of five naively believing closer to the Cavern etc is better, I would advise you to avoid, and not be fooled by the word 'boutique'. Credit where credit is due, staff were friendly and helpful. And the kids, completely unaware of these issues, loved it.
Price
Door codes instead of card, herd next doors tele on ahha thin walls
The hot tube was very good; such a good surprise! The location was highly central
Nothing
Stinking attitude on every member of staff I met
Excellent location, speedy check in and clean
Nothing
The staff and location
It was way to hot with no way to open a window or no air conditioning. There was a fan but it didn't help at all
I wish I knew but having filtered for access with a pet and having my booking accepted, I arrived at five minutes past midnight to be told that I would not be allowed with my dog. I was offered another place if I paid a supplement for the dog which I regarded as both disingenuous since I had booked and prepaid in good faith. The concierge was in text conversation with his manager who gave him no leave to be flexible. I found myself in an impossible situation and felt that I was being taken for a fool because of the late hour. I dislike any system that allows me to pay for a room and despite filters to exclude rentals that did not allow my dog, I was forced to pay the cost and then more fees if I accepted the offer of a more expensive apartment and a cleaning fee for a stay of seven hours.
Very clean. Easy to check in and out
The bath in the room didn’t work. Went down to report it was told someone would come and fix it. No one came.
Great location right in the heart of it . The price was very good .
The ac was not working, a fan was supplied but we couldn’t open the window so just circulated warm air and it was very warm . We also had silver fish in the bathroom which wasn’t the best and I also think a bedside table would be a good addition. It just felt a little worn .
Excellent
No
Everything and the location couldn’t have been betty
Nothing, but could do with a shelf in the bathroom
Location and facilities in the room
The room smell badly off cannabis. When I informed lady at desk, she saod she would speak to the cleaner. Nothing was fed back to us ir done about the room.
Good location. Staff were once again excellent. I stayed there before. I like the fact that the place is decorated in a non uniform manner and has incorporated the architectural features of the building. It has character. Food and drink readily available outside. WiFi was good. No complaints
Can’t think of anything.
Good price friendly staff
The bath had insects in it have photos to prove
lovely room and nice staff
I liked the dark green fabric wall covering. I liked the huge mirrors. I liked the jacuzzi in the bedroom.

The stuff
Good location for shopping and town centre good the groups of adults but not for family
You can hear the sound and noise from other room like they are stay in the same room as you
Location was excellent
Noisy due to clubs and people partying in room next door during the night.
Really disappointed in this hotel. What looked and advertised to be a great hotel was shocking! The room was filthy, there was dried blood on the quilt, a bug in the bed as well as the bath. The hotel itself was extremely noisy and not just noise from the venues outside. It was impossible to be quiet when walking on the wooden floor and the walls were so thin you could hear conversations for joining rooms. I also worry about the safety due to the fact there were no advertised stairs just lifts which you should avoid during emergencies. Staff were rude, ignored you when you were in reception and have yet to respond to any of the emails I have sent.
Awful, dirty and rude staff. They Also ask for a security deposit of 50 per person which has not been returned despite no damage to the room-if u look up more reviews you will see this is a very common accurance, scam !
Spacious , cleanness and location
Everything
DAVE! He was so considerate by letting us checked in early, having kids woke up very early was so exhausting. We are so delighted we got a chance to go back to bed before heading off. the location is very centra,l the beatles pub which is a tourist attraction is only behind the building. 5 mins walk to the mall. The room was so huge! The mini kitchen was a big help for a family. Jacuzzi! A big plus!.

Service
10/10Staff were frequently described as helpful with easy check-in and clear door codes; there are a few reports of frosty reception and slow refunds but overall staff assistance and check-in convenience were praised.
Location
10/10Consistently praised as central and convenient (Lime Street / Mathew St area), close to shops, bars and transport, yet reported to be relatively quiet at night.
Room Quality
10/10Rooms noted as spacious, characterful and in some cases very comfortable (hydromassage lofts mentioned); some issues reported with very dark rooms, wardrobe layout and bathtub placement but overall room space and character were repeatedly commended.
Amenities
10/10Onsite amenities include luggage storage and an attached 24-hour shop; however there is no on-site dining or regular room service which some guests highlighted—overall the property relies on local amenities and conveniences.
Value for Money
10/10Mixed signals in reviews: several guests reported unexpected deposits/charges and long refund waits, yet many felt the central location, spacious rooms and character offered strong value for their stay.
Food and Beverage
10/10No on-site dining or breakfast offerings were repeatedly noted; guests made use of nearby eateries and an attached 24-hour shop—this property functions more like a self-catered/apartment-style stay.
Overall Experience
10/10Overall impressions skew positive for many guests due to location, space and character; serious negatives (cleanliness, unexpected charges, noise in some cases) did affect some stays but many guests still reported a very good experience.
