All ok
The access directions were appalling. You should make clear that after turning off the A1M that you must turn left immediately after the roundabout. We ended up in Peterborough and had major problems finding the hotel. Also, the hotel phone was not answered as we couldn’t find the hotel. Very annoying and not what one wants at 10.30pm after a long journey.
It was ok. I would stay there again.
Nothing stood out.
I got charged twice. Parking is not free. Not alot to choose from for breakfast. Bad customer service, staff can't answer simply questions or help with simple requests.
The breakfasts were excellent Broad range of choices, both cold items and hot were available. The location was ideal for visiting relatives in the Peterborough area..
Location
The WC flush was broken and didn’t fully flush the toilet. The body wash in the bathroom was empty. There was a hair in the bed. And parking no longer free.
The wine in the bar was very limited - a can of either red or white.
The general feeling was that everywhere was rather tired.
The staff were helpful, but beware the parking company. The staff gave us some free parking as gratitude for staying for a week. The parking company overruled them, giving us a £450 bill. The hotel is trying to sort it out. The staff helped us because, as 80 years old, we couldn't handle apps .
The needless hassle from the parking company . We expected to pay, but were offered by the staff as a goodwill gesture some free parking and we only had to pay for the first day. Beware this parking company it spoils the hotel.
easy to get to and easy parking basic comfy room
had to pay for parking
Good location next to A1(M) and close to main retail parks and Peterborough itself
Very dated. Musty smell throughout the hotel. Think it was an ex-Premier Inn location judging by the colour scheme and signage but it has seen better days
Receptionist kept the bar open as we arrived late which was kind! Breakfast really hot, staff friendly.
Nothing
Extremely clean and tidy Room was lovely Staff were wonderful, polite, friendly and welcoming Drinks were available to us all day We stayed here following our car breaking down leading to us checking in at 3am, the staff including the night staff were amazing and helpful and really lightened the mood created by the breakdown, next day staff were wonderful too, offering constant drinks and ensuring we were as comfortable as possible
The only issue we felt was the what we believe was the hotel manager seemed quite annoyed by the fact we had to wait several hours waiting for our car recovery even tho we spent quite alot of money in the bar and for our room last minute
The architecture was fascinating. I would have loved to have seen the courtyard. The bed was comfy, the young woman behind the bar was super friendly.
You can only get there by car. The food was dull.
Friendly breakfast staff. Rooms were clean but dated. Comfortable bed.
Music in the bar / restaurant in the evening was too loud for a mid week quiet evening. It also sounded like someone’s personal playlist. No plug sockets by the bed.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel.
We had to pay for the party :(
Nice staff
Charge for parking
The location is good and the room was comfortable and clean. I didn't spend long in the room but it was quiet and met all my needs. The staff were helpful and polite at check in.
I wasn't expecting to have to pay extra for parking - that made it less good value for money than I was expecting. The Pillow allocation was a bit mediocre and the easy-to-change duvet covers - which have hand-holes in the sides to help staff get them on quicker - had tatty bits of elderly duvet hanging out of them which were obviously unwashed so that felt a bit unhygienic.
The staff the hotel is clean set up really nice. A beautiful place.
There was no problems.
Location and price
No Chef on Sunday so no restaurant however the pizza was nice
It was clean and friendly environment
The beds where very uncomfortable and not much breakfast cgoice
I liked how comfortable it was.
I dont feel there was much breakfast choice and the tv in a family room was very small. I dobt think staying guest should have to pay for parking and no exception for disabled either
The location was perfect for us for a one night stop just off the motorway
We were given a room that hadn't been cleaned but we were immediately given a different room.
The Breakfast was ok.
The whole site is not welcoming and needs a lot of money spent on it.
Yeah it was very nice
The receptionist called an ambulance straight away when I was taken ill
Nothing
Local to work
Upgrade was a down grade, very tired hotel
Comfortable, good customer care from staff member
Location.
comfortable, peaceful and cosy with nice breakfast
Bed. Coffee.
Sausages.
Friendly staff, parking and bed fairly comfy.
I stayed in a budget double. There was a musty smell. Breakfast was included but had to eat in the room as no restaurant.
It was located just off the motorway in a very quiet location. The staff were very friendly and the drinks in the bar very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good.carts available for luggage. Petrol stations nearby at normal not motorway prices.
We stayed on a Sunday so no evening meals. However pubs a short distance away.
Everything was clean and the room was freshly painted and well maintained. Clean bedding and towels. Bath in the room also.
Across my 3 night stay the orange, apple juice and milk in the coffee machine were not being replenished without prompting the staff, but once I asked the staff they did replenish them.
parque pago
Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant on site, perfect for a short stay. Great breakfast m, included in the price.
Neighbours a bit noisy, but we were there on a Saturday night
Excellent value for money. Great breakfast
Paying for parking. £4.50 per day
Just breakfast
there was chewing gum in the trash can. the room was too hot and there was no fan. the worst was when the room was connected to another room and the door to the other room was not locked. we asked the reception to lock the door, it took a long time until he found the right keys and locked the door, making noise at night. terrible 1 night.
Convenient location and good price for the night.
Outside of the building looked a little run down and overgrown with grass/weeds (inside was spotless)
was very hot staff provided free drink with ice and lemonade and went and found a fan for me late at night
nothing
We ended up with a £60 parking fine. Even though we entered our car details at the hotel and was not asked to pay for parking
It's in a good location for what we required
Change price of ur cans ok coke
Everything
I believe u changing £3.50 for a can of coke is way to much maybe a pint of coke not a can, at most £1.50 maybe u should have a look at that again as u can buy almost 4 for that price apart from that all was ok hope I change the price on them and u will sale more thanks
Basic but adequate room. Perfect for what I needed. Staff were very polite, the service and food was excellent. I would stay there again.
Food, excellent. The room was good.
Parking waa complimentary and location
Bar area full of people swearing and speaking on their phones with speaker on. Inappropriate behaviour. Food waa shocking
Staff very helpful
Good clean hotel spacious room and friendly staff
A little secluded
Perfect location. Clean and staff very helpful. Big thank you to Charlotte, Ryan, Anna and Sonia. Thanks for helping us out.
Spacious and clean room
Not easy to find especially at night
The location was ok, for a wedding I was attending.
Came down for breakfast at 8.45am. The breakfast didn't finish till 10am. There was hardly any food left. No butter to go on toast, and was told they were waiting a delivery. I had made sure breakfast was added to my booking, of 4 separate rooms. In total 12 people, who didn't eat a proper meal.
every thing perfect
nothing
The staff were getu helpgul especially Sonia on reception and Saleem
Very handy for an overnight stop on the A1 south. Very comfy beds.
The hotel is a little tired but good value for money for what we paid.
It was quiet
The hotel looked closed, the outside grass was so long it looked abandoned. Needs a make over.
For the price range you can't ask anymore stayed a few times its always clean the beds are very comfortable good showers great value for the price
For the price nothing not to like, no aircon but the rooms have fans so its good
Perfect location and good service
Would be nice to have little fridge in the room. Specially summer time
Location and services.
Nothing
Struttura molto vicina all'autostrada e quindi comodissima. Comodo parcheggio ampio ma non custodito. Molte camere e prezzo buono per il servizio. Buona la colazione
Pulizia da migliorare e terribile la moquette nei corridoi: si sente un cattivo odore di polvere ovunque!
Cleanliness, location,
Parking was plenty
The rooms were outdated, mattress and pillows were too soft. Bathroom wasn't clean. Breakfast tasted awful. Room was way too hot, a fan was provided though.
The place was well located close to our event venue and the room rate is good and the hotel is nice and clean
The breakfast was horrible, we had to wait so long for food to be refilled.
Needed a cheap and cheerful hotel for a one night stay whilst i was doing a bit of exploring. The hotel is very easy to reach just off the motorway and is pleasant. Rooms were large and felt comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable! all staff that i met were helpful and polite. Breakfast was ample and good value. Plenty of parking available.
the menu was a bit dismal - the food was fine but it was quite basic and slightly expensive for the standard. the room's AC wasn't working but they did provide a fan.
Matress was obviously years old food was inedible tried to cancel my paid for breakfast after i experienced lunch told i could not get a refund. Very disapointing experience all round really.
The price you payed for the night was very good if it was more then it will be different but you can't moan for want you pay q
Staff on front was very slow and not on great place but like I said you not paying silly money
Good size room, parking, convenient
Breakfast selection for our friends (gluten and dairy allergies) was extremely limited
Breakfast -poor choices and quality Evening meal only offered burgers/ pizza Location was convenient for A1 but took a long time to find - no signs, even at hotel entrance
It was a wonderful stay and we had a lovely time
We got an unexpected parking ticket staying at the premises, despite putting our details in and confirming the parking.
Vlakbij de snelweg, je bent zo weer op weg. Ontbijt was simpel, maar prima en lekker. Personeel was aardig.
Simpel verblijf, kamer wat klein en het oogt wat viezig
Amazing staff Duna on reception is very helpful and always keen to support with any issues
nothing
Staff was friendly, clean room.
Very disappointed with breakfast, no gluten free bread, not many gluten free options. In the evening in the bar they ran out of the wine (white and pink!), also limited amount of soft drink.
Clean ,breakfast not too bad ,friendly staff
No air con in my room just a fan It was hot night
Good vslue budget hotel for business travel
Location out of the way but near motorway
Very rude Indian manager very rude.
Very nice clean hotel staff so helpfull sonia an Ryan was Great
All good
It was spacious and you couldn’t hear the traffic
There no vending machine or available snacks
The hotel is situated closer to Motorway route, which is conveniently location..
The room was small and too hot and stuffy. Opened the window there was dity looks like dry vomit. The bed looks nice but closer .Pillows and duvet smiles uncleaned. Staff member was not happy with my concerns but I insisted that I cannot stay in that room. They went to check, came back saying,I am sorry do you like to stay in a room in first floor. The distance from reception to rooms, no help or lift.
Quiet surroundings and within hotel. Ample free parking via registration at reception. Good breakfast choices.
Not easy to locate, just off A1 but signpost obscured by vegetation, and road leading to it is unnamed, so drive by twice before finding it. Seemed far from any other local facilities for an evening stroll.
The room was dated, but very clean and the beds were comfy.
We stayed during the heatwave, and was surprised the aircon had been turned off everywhere, apart from the bar/lounge area. There was a fan in the room, and could open the windows. I aaked at reception, and was informed this was clear on booking.com. It was not. They ran out of wine! I was told their delivery had let them down. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. The coffee was bland, and you could not lift the lid on the baked beans, as it was so hot! I burnt my finger! There should be a warning sign, or at least something bigger to safely lift the lid.
Close to the motorway, good place for a break. I used it for an overnight stay during an event at the dropzone nearby. The room was big and comfortable enough.
Lighting of the room was very dim.
Great staff, bar open late
Hotel is a little run down but it was expected at that price. It was clean however.
Great over night accommodation. Despite closeness to motorway quiet inside.
Had football night before and bar stock and variety low.
Fijne bedden en vlak naast de snelweg
Convenient for the A1. Cheap. Staff helpful - once you got their attention.
No air con. Had the accessible room and the shower curtain didn’t fit round the shower so water everywhere!! Had to ask for iron/board rather than having them in the room. Teacups tiny!! Just a tired & run down property. Water left in the sink from cleaners (I hope) when I arrived.
Staff very helpful and accommodating. Friendly on arrival. Stored my belongings whilst I went for a run when early check-in wasn't available.
I did request an early check-in on booking ( if it was possible ) but never received a reply. Understand early check-in isn't always possible but maybe remove the option to request one, if you're not in a position to reply to the request.
Convenient location Room was clean Staff were polite
Shower was poor. Communal areas were very dirty - window sills full of flies, spillages on floor, cobwebs and non vacuumed staircases. Nobody about to greet at breakfast and that was average too. Had to source own cutlery and lay table.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for my work. Surprisingly nice room, and comfortable bed. It was very hot outside, but a fan was provided for the room, which kept it cool.
Check in process not explainedained fully
L’emplacement près de l’autoroute, très pratique et pourtant pas bruyant Le rapport qualité prix est bon Le petit déjeuner est top
Rien
Clean room good parking helpful staff helpful staff
Nothing
Great hotel, good location for commuting to London. Breakfast really good
The bed was well made. Clean beddings and towels. Comfortable bed. Had a quiet room, hence good sleep and rest. There was a kettle, and beverages in the room. Bathroom was clean.
Variety at breakfast, advice about paying for parking at entrance causing confusion but there is an allowance for hotel customer not to pay for parking at the reception desk. This causes confusion. Breakfast lacked variety, the scrambled eggs were unsightly, no indication to know that if one needed an omelette they needed to order. At some point bread, croissants run out.
The main positive was its location in relation to the event i was attending, which made it convenient for the purpose of the stay. Despite the issues with the rooms, the reception area did have working air conditioning, which at least provided some relief during the heatwave. Having food available on-site was also useful given there were no shops or amenities nearby, especially with the hotel being quite isolated. It also worked as a last-minute booking option when alternatives were limited.
There were several significant issues. The most disappointing was that the advertised expectation of air conditioning in the rooms was not met, as the unit appeared to be disconnected, which was particularly uncomfortable during a heatwave. Service was also inconsistent and at times misleading. You were initially told you could order from a discounted “grab” or fast menu, but when ordering, this was then denied, forcing prices up significantly on the main menu, which felt unfair and frustrating. Cleanliness and maintenance also seemed below standard, with no visible cleaning activity during the stay and reports of issues such as blocked sinks from other guests. Staff presence felt minimal and not especially proactive in dealing with concerns. On top of this, the hotel’s remote location meant there were no nearby shops or alternatives within walking distance, making guests reliant on the hotel’s own facilities regardless of quality.
Quiet room with a very comfy bed.
Food could have been better.
Handy location. Clean room. Parking on site. Good value.
A bit dated. Breakfast not quite as good as previous stays.
Had to use a nappy bag to get the tap to hold when taking a shower. Rude staff. Poor WiFi signal
Convenient location. Good value. Run down old premier inn but served its purpose! Staff were lovely
The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring a wide area of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire. There is a lovely big car park so no difficulty finding a space . The staff are all exceptionally friendly and always ready to help . The rooms are spacious and clean making for a comfortable stay . The breakfast is very good and has a wide selection for all tastes. Also what was impressive was the large amount of seating the restaurant had. There was a well stocked bar and tea and coffee in the room . Despite the hotel’s proximity to a major road it was very quiet. Great value for a short or long stay and if we visited this area again would definitely look at the Milestone before others . Couldn’t be happier
Nothing
Quite and peaceful
Less towels and old model Tele
Easy to get to, good stop and good breakfast we will use it again
Getting tired but still good
Clean and comfortable good buffet breakfast
Good breakfast, friendly staff, room clean
Nothing much to say, usually parking is chargeable I believe however not on this stay
Travelling by myself, I was very pleased with the room that I was given. It was comfortable, clean, and it felt very secure because of its situation. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have recommended the hotel to friends of mine, and I will definitely visit again!
There was no gluten free bread, but I was very satisfied with everything else.
