I wouldn’t want to repeat the reviews of other hotel guests, who described the services as exceptional, but I have no choice. It’s true—the Dimargio Luxury Hotel & Spa is a gem of a hotel. The entire team that made us feel so welcome, from the moment we arrived until our departure, deserves our utmost appreciation. The hotel is impeccably clean. The room was large and well The breakfast is not only varied and abundant with local pastries and cheeses but also delicious, and the staff is always ready to help with suggestions, solutions, and reservations. I spilled tomato juice on my pants at breakfast, and Catarina immediately stepped in with a stain remover spray to help me. Our room was upgraded to a higher category upon arrival, and Vasilis came with us to show us two room options to choose from. Catarina, Maria, Vasilis, Alia and the rest of the team—we congratulate you on your hospitality, kindness, promptness in assisting us with even the smallest details of our stay, and the warm smiles you always wear.

The bathroom door was a bit stiff to close, but I’d say that’s a minor detail compared to the overall comfort.

Our flight was cancelled whilst we were waiting to board, so we managed to grab a last minute deal on a room here. We were tired, exhausted, and not in a good mood, particularly because our replacement flight was scheduled for nearly midnight the following day. The management of this hotel turned our situation around, suggested things for us to do whilst 'stuck' in the city, and gave us a sanctuary. We could not be happier with the staff, facilities, food, and the way in which they looked after us even after check out. Top people. Top place.

Le personnel était très sympathique, souriant et serviable ! Le monsieur de la réception nous a donné des astuces durant le temps de séjour. La chambre était propre, jolie et confortable. Le déjeuner était incroyable, il y avait un vaste choix, la nourriture était bonne et de bonne qualité et la terrasse pour manger offre un cadre idyllique. De plus, le personnel qui s’occupe du petit déjeuner était très gentil et serviable !

Il est dommage que l’hôtel ne possède pas de parking.

Our room was very nice and clean, and the staff was very eager to help us however they could. The breakfast and atmosphere were both great. Important to note that they do not have onsite parking, but they did recommend a couple private lots, which worked for us.

Dimargio is an excellent hotel with a welcoming staff during a stay in Heraklion. Its breakfast includes many healthy options to begin a day of exploring the city and its surroundings, and its Bistro provides a menu with delicious appetizers or entreees for those guests who want a relaxing dinner after a hectic day of sightseeing.

A gentileza dos funcionários, Maria, Catarina, e da Ária , foram espetaculares, n se encontram mais em hotéis. Muito satisfeitos com tudo neste hotel!

I can't say enough about this hotel, the location is perfect for foodies as all the good restaurants are nearby, everything is walking distance, the harbour, museums ect. The hotel is beautifully clean its like coming home the small staff are absolutely amazing so friendly can't do enough for you. Katarina goes above and beyond she is so caring and genuinely wants to make your stay perfect. What a prize she is , such a lovely lady. All of the staff are so lovely and really want it to be perfect even the maids are friendly helpful and do an amazing job. If we go back to Heraklion we wouldn't think twice about where to stay. The hotel is in a quiet street the cathedral is nearby so you do hear the bells at different times which is charming in itself. Breakfast is absolutely delicious the perfect amount of choice and im sure if you wanted something else they would make it without question. The rooms are large with a big shower and plenty of hot water ,lovely bedding and comfy pillows immaculately cleaned the only criticism I would have is the lovely huge bed was slightly hard if I was being picky but I do have a back injury. We where given a couple of hours in the spa as the weather was so bad which was just what we needed. Thankyou for the lovely stay even though it rained for the 3 days we where there, if it hadn't been for this lovely hotel we would have got a flight home to sunny England. A special thankyou to Katarina for making our stay more enjoyable.

Ideally Located in the Old Town by the Cathedral, with Modern Facilities and a Wide Variety of Breakfast Options

The bathroom shower had inconsistent water temperature and lacked a proper mixer; the shower door had a very small handle and would seal tightly when closed, making it impossible to open by hand—being short and unable to reach the top of the door, and with soundproofing too good to call for help, I ended up trapped inside for over ten minutes.

Le lieu, son architecture, son lounge, sa cour arrière, ses chambres, l'accueil, le personnel, le petit déjeuner fastueux, sa localisation centrale, la décoration au rez comme dans les chambres, la rénovation du bâtiment fort réussie, c'est exceptionnel de n'avoir que du positif.

Todo ha sido excelente. Un hotel céntrico, muy tranquilo, con un trato muy amable por parte de todo el personal, desde recepción hasta limpieza. Todos sin excepción han hecho que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Nuestra estancia fue realmente muy agradable. Era nuestro viaje de bodas de oro y nos fuimos realmente satisfechos. Totalmente recomendable.

למי שמפריע, יש רעש מהרחוב וצלצול פעמונים מהכנסיה ( למרות שרצו לתת לנו חדר הפונה לצד השקט. )

This is the only hotel in the world that, if you have an ungodly hour / super early flight, will offer breakfast in a doggy bag to go. We were thoroughly impressed. Also was not expecting a free upgrade of our room but it was very, very very much appreciated. Staff always at your disposal, you genuinely can ask them anything and they are one step ahead of you.

Das Personal vor Ort ist unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufgeschlossen, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch beim Frühstück morgens. Die Lage ist unschlagbar und auch die Zimmer sind super. Es gibt auch einen Arbeitsbereich, den man gut nutzen kann.

Der Spa-Bereich ist nur mit einer Extragebühr benutzbar, das stand leider anders in der Beschreibung.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufgeschlossen und engagiert. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und tadellos sauber. Die Lage war sehr zentrumsnah. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Kleiner Hinweis zur Nachhaltigkeit: Das Frühstücksbuffet war derart reichhaltig trotz wenig Gästen, dass man hofft, dass nicht zu viel der sehr leckeren Auswahl vernichtet werden muss. Vorschlag: Ei+Speisen nur auf Gästewunsch zubereiten.

The bed was very soft for our liking

The hotel is located in the midst of the old town, yet the street is very quiet. The stuff don't just give you a key, they walk with you to your room and make sure the key works. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's going to visit Heraklion

The Dimargio Luxury Hotel & Spa was an exceptional experience. We were greeted at the door by front desk / concierge staff and served non-alcoholic welcome drinks. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We had comfortable beds and pillows, good AC, a lovely balcony, upgraded room amenities, exceptional breakfasts and the best staff ever. The rooms were scent free; the hotel was in an excellent area, safe and close to everything. There was a bar and restaurant on site which was great for days when you got back and were too tired to go out again. The food was excellent. The rooms were quiet and we had a great view. Katerina was so wonderful and helpful - the entire staff were - they really took care of you. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

A brand new all suites hotel in the heart of the city. Excellent choice to discover the city , everything in walking distance. Amazing backyard ideally for dinner . The staff is very professional, friendly and really helpful ready to advise and assist you in any need you may have. Highly recommended !!!!

The room just felt a bit cramped, no full length mirror either and it wasn’t obvious before booking you had to pay exits to use the spa facilities

המקום נקי מאוד, חדרים מעוצבים יפה מאוד ונעימים. צוות מקסים ממש והאוכל ברמה טובה. הצוות נתן לנו להשתמש בג׳קוזי במלון בחינם ובאמת היה מקסים ונדיב מאוד. אם אתם רוצים לקבוע מסאג׳ במקום ממליצים לעשות זאת מראש כי רוב הפגישות קבועות מראש.

חיסרון אחד והוא שהמקום קרוב למגדל השעון בעיר ושעושה המון רעש וקצת מקשה לישון לזוגות כמונו שאוהבים לקום מאוחר

מלון בוטיק קטן ושקט , מיקום מעולה, צוות מדהים שירותי ונעים הליכות נענו לכל בקשה מיידית חדר עם מרפסת בקומה גבוהה, מיטה נוחה, נקי , מקלחון מעולה השקט במלון היה נפלא, המלון לא היה בתפוסה מלאה מלון מתאים לזוגות

ארוחת הבוקר ניתן לשפר: ביצים להכין במקום המלון מכין בצלחות עד שהאורחים אוכלים הביצים קרות. בנוסף פירות הייתי מציעה להניח פירות בשלמותם ולא חתוכים בצלחת עד שהאורח לוקח הפירות עומדים בצלחת חתוכים מקבלים צבע וטעם לא טעים בנוסף היה מגון של עוגות דל , חוסר במעדנים. בנוסף בחדר הפריע לי שהכיור והמראה היו בחדר השינה ולא בתוך המקלחון והשירותים ממש לא נוח . במקלחון ובשירותים אין מראה ואין כיור לא ברור מה השיקול בחלוקה חסרת הגיון זו.

Śniadanie można zjeść w pomieszczeniu klimatyzowanym jak i na zewnątrz w bardzo klimatycznym miejscu. Pokoje czyste. Sprzątane codziennie. Śniadania bardzo dobre- szwedzki stół. W centrum więc wszędzie blisko ale nie słychać w pokoju hałasów z ulic. Zdecydowanie polecam hotel

We loved EVERYTHING in our stay at the Dimargio. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We especially appreciated the incredibly warm welcome from Sofia and Catarina – they really made our stay special. The room was amazing – spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better, making it easy to explore the area. All the facilities were excellent and added to the overall comfort of our stay. And to top it all off, the breakfast buffet was absolutely exceptional – delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended !

The rooms had an odd layout

Everything was very clean and neat. Amazing city and water views from my balcony. The staff was super attentive and welcoming. Perfect location, easy walk to anything. I would definitely stay here again.
