Fire alarm insufficiently loud: when fire alarm went off during the night at 3:15 am it was not loud enough to wake all of the guests and as a result only a small number of the guests left their rooms despite the fire brigade being in attendance. The staff did not empty the rooms. This is unsafe.

Ths staff was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious. Good breakfest. A bit pricy, but that's Copenhagen...

Tiny room

Excellent position to sites and transport. Excellent breakfast and bed.

Maybe a little dear but Copenhagen prices are dear everywhere.

The location - well situated close to the station and downtown.

The main differential in choosing the hotel over many similar offerings in the neighborhood was the highly promoted rooftop bar, so it was extremely disappointing at 6pm on a fine summer Friday night to find it closed for no obvious reason. The bedroom, while pokey, was fine. The bathroom suffered from an unnecessary design quirk where the shower is almost directly above the toilet meaning it was impossible to take a shower without wiping the toilet down afterwards. The decor is a bit tired, the bar prices significantly more expensive than in the neighboring bars and one of the staff was unnecessarily rude but overall we slept well and it got the job done. We won’t be returning as Im sure there are better options for the money.

Location. Only thing going for it.

The whole hotel was dated. Scuffs on the wall, the carpet was worn and dreadfully stained. Lumpy pillows. There was mould in the bathroom. You could hear people passing in the hallway. I would never stay here again, It is meant to be a 4 star hotel. I've stayed in 3 star hotels that were much better than this hotel. For the record, I've never given a bad review before - until now. It was a NH hotel, a chain I've stayed at before without complaint.

Room was comfortable and staff were friendly

It was a shame that the roof terrace was closed for a private event on the Saturday evening of our stay.

Room - we were given a bigger room than we thought we were going to get; this was great. Breakfast - excellent choices and service Location - ideal for trains and metro as well as for walking to many of the attractions

We had a slight problem with housekeeping, quickly resolved. Lighting non-existent at working end of the room (desk/kettle. etc), slightly problematic for us. Air-conditioning only seemed to chill the room, but not warm it, so we switched it off altogether.

The staff is so kind and the room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel restaurant is delicious and lobby seating areas are beautifully designed.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, das Ambiente des Hauses ist sehr ansprechend. Schönes Frühstücksangebot.

Das Doppelzimmer war relativ klein und eng, es fehlten Ablageflächen für Kleidung im Zimmer wie auch insbesondere im Badezimmer für die Kosmetiktasche. Leider blieb die stark beworbene Rooftop-Bar und -Terrasse trotz sonnigen und warmen Wetters während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts geschlossen.

The cracking location and super friendly & helpful staff made this delightful. Breakfast was outstanding too. Maja, who checked me in was amazing and shared some local knowledge on where to eat and things to do.

Our room was fantastic - such a comfortable bed and the suite had so much space - we loved it!

It was a little backward getting our luggage to the room - two elevators were required - but well worth it once we arrived

Very nice staff, good quality hotel in the city center, close to the central railway station, only few minutes from the downtown and Tivoli. Good quality breakfast.

Absolutely tiny rooms. We couldnt even move around the bed. Nor open our small carry on suitcases. You could barely move in the bathroom. Open any doors. Value for money is terrible on a cosy room. Was uncomfortably small that we asked to change rooms. Even for a city break where you spend little time in the room, it felt unbearable for two people.

Our booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before we arrived so we never got to see the property.

We had booked and paid in full (with no cancellation option) for Hotel Joanne 6 months in advance. Our booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before arrival. They sent us to a sister hotel with a 50% discount but it was very corporate and dreary, not what we had in mind for a special girls trip away. It was 30 minutes walk away from Hotel Joanne and all of our bookings were far away. Very disappointing to be cancelled when we’d booked so far in advance and paid in full.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! We enjoyed a drink in the bar and the location is fantastic! The bed was very comfy and the hotel felt very safe!

Our room was rather small and the carpet was quite dirty with a few stains. If we return we would definitely choose a larger room!

Buena ubicación y decoración bonita y cuidada

La habitación era exageradamente pequeña. Jamás habíamos estado en una habitación de hotel de unas dimensiones tan reducidas. Para dos personas era realmente incómoda: prácticamente no había espacio para moverse, abrir las maletas o simplemente coger nuestras cosas. Nos parece increíble que una habitación así se ofrezca como doble. Además, la limpieza y arreglo de la habitación dejaban bastante que desear: ni siquiera hacían bien la cama, la dejaban llena de arrugas y daba la sensación de estar hecha deprisa y sin ningún cuidado. La ubicación y la decoración no compensan en absoluto la enorme incomodidad de la habitación.

Bathroom is quite old and not use friendly

A wonderful, refined hotel set in an elegant building right in the heart of Copenhagen. It is just a short walk from Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station, while all the main attractions can easily be reached on foot or by bicycle, which can conveniently be rented directly at the hotel. Our room was a little bit small, but it was absolutely spotless and beautifully kept. And the bed was simply amazing: we have never slept in a more comfortable one! The bathroom was impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed. The staff was outstanding: extremely professional, yet always warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They were happy to accommodate all our requests and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful variety of delicious options to choose from. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to come back soon!

جدا جدا صغيره الغرفه بي ماتعنيه الكلمه الناس الي معه عفش اكثر من حقيبه مافيه مكان لأكثر من حقيبه صغيره جدا الغرفه و لايوجد مكان حتى اصلي فيه لايوجد ثلاجه في الغرفه لايوجد صندوق سلامه الاضاء ضعيفه جدا في الغرفه الأطلال طلبت على الشارع الرئيسي جاني أطلال على شارع صغير جدا ولا أستطيع فتح النوافذ لي شخصين لاينفع أبدا اما الي بيصير على نفسه الناس اذواق

The hotel is beautifully designed, interior decor was quirky which I liked. The room- junior suite was so well equipped , spacious and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in! Bathroom facilities were great- shower was warm and powerful. Breakfast was superb- great choices and the made to order scrambled egg on toast was delicious. The location was spot on for tour bus access, train station and excellent restaurants which were recommended by the concierge. We forgot to bring plug adaptors but the hotel had a supply, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Location! You can’t beat it, walking distance from all the important sights.

The lack of wardrobe in the room. There is no handle on the inside of the bathroom door so one has to pull at the peg which comes out in 2 days…. A small thing which can be easily fixed. The housekeeping is not consistent. We were on the rooftop having a drink, tried to open the umbrella , couldn’t do it and something came off so we were publicly shouted at as we were not supposed to do so - there’s a printed sign on the inside of the umbrella which says don’t touch which one sees only after trying to open it! Very very rude of them, didn’t leave a good taste. If you don’t want public to touch it please have the sign on the pole or the umbrella clearly visible to everyone! The reception staff and the people serving in the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful 😊

Handige locatie in KPH. Vlakbij het centraal station en toch een mooie buurt, alles is te voet bereikbaar. Heel mooi interieur, heel gezellige inrichting. Korting in de nabijgelegen parkeergarage Q park. Leuke lounge-ruimte.

Prijs-kwaliteit betaal je hier wel de hoofdprijs, maar dit is de norm voor Kopenhagen in het hoogseizoen.

Perfect location, very clean and friendly staff

The location is fabulous, very close to the central station while still tucked away from it!

The rooms are incredibly small, and even though you have the option and the knowledge when selecting them, you don't necessarily realise until you get there. Therefore, given we were travelling with a baby, it was incredibly hard and quite frankly unpleasant. The room was tiny and the pram did not fit in, making it hard getting in and out of the room as well as around our suitcases...

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena, al lado de la estación de Tren y Metro. La habitación tiene lo necesario, pero la regadera no es cómoda ya que se sale el agua al piso del baño.

No me gusto que las alfombras de los pasillos se ven sucias de las orillas y que afuera de la recepción el edificio tiene construcciones o reparaciones en proceso.

قربه من كل الاماكن و حسن الاستقبال

المكان جميل و لكن عندي بعض الملاحظات الفندق بالكامل الغرفه عباره عن فواصل خشبيه مما يجعله إزعاج إذا كان جارك حركته كثيره و الغرف صغار ولا يوجد فيها ثلاجه و اكيد لا يوجد شطاف و نصيحه للي جاي اول مره اختار يكون اليوم والوقت ما تكون فيه مسيرات او مناسبات لانه لو تسكر الشارع صعب توصل للفندق حتى الانتهاء و مانصح تاخذ سيارة لان المواقف صعبه و المشي احسن

Good location, pretty Resturant and lounge, room was nice with cool view. I read to get the bigger room so i did and it was perfect. I loved you could use and app to request anything. Very responsive staff.

I didn’t like that our room needed 2 elevators too get too or a long walk. I don’t mind the walk but in case of an emergency it is scary having that much to walk through. We had a fire alarm. This is minor but walking to the room there is lots of stains on the hallway rugs and chipped paint throughout the hotel. Super minor - but just impacts overall asthetic. The gym felt super stuffy and yoga room was closed.

Location is amazing. 5min walk from train station, easy to get pretty much anywhere. Rooms were clean, pretty and had all the basics you need for a stay. Standard rooms are small (mentioned below) but for shorter stay we managed just fine. Everything in the hotel worked fine, staff did well, no issues. Stylish large "living room" area on the ground floor (yeah I know normal in these types of hotels but this was a nice one).

Stayed in a standard room. It is small and crowded with extra seating - there is no space on the floor to open up larger suitcase, or store it flat on the floor. There also isn't a closet or so to store your clothes, only like 6 hangers coming from a bar attached to a wall. Keep this in mind if travelling for more days with large luggage and perhaps book larger room.
