We love our stay. This is our second time at the Codrington House. Everything was great, cleanliness, good location, spacious apartment. All the bedrooms were ensuite. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean and comfortable space for a family of 6 with one bathroom attached per room. The living room is also spacious and bright which is a good place for us to dine in and hang out. Little touches like a new sponge for washing the dishes and laundry detergent is a plus. Owner is very friendly and responsive. The entire house is true to the pictures

Location was great with many eating places and a mini mart nearby. Apartment was clean and new with 3 attached bathrooms that came in very useful. The apartment came with kitchen facilities and details are seen in the apartment such as having a water dispenser, washing machine and adequate clothes racks which came in handy. Highly recommended for your visit in Penang!

The location was super near so many good food! The provision of baby and toddler needs were very useful! The apartment had everything a family with young kids would need and the wide and sparse living room meant more safe space for little ones to wonder. Host was really responsive and the cleaning was well done.

Skirting of the apartment is chipped in some corners - can be rather poke-y. You can find hotel slippers and toothbrush in the kitchen drawers which was not really intuitive. Only found it by accident. Might be good to just place some at the dining area as a welcome gesture ;)

Convenient Location and easy access to everywhere. Big and clean apartment. Lots of good food both in the morning and night. The host is super responsive and understanding.

The bed is too soft for us

The place was incredibly clean from top to bottom. Every single thing in the unit, from toiletries to plates, cups, cutleries, and everything else, were all in perfect condition. It honestly felt like everything was brand new and freshly unboxed on the day we arrived. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room nice and cool the whole time. The TV also came with a Netflix account provided by the host, which was a really lovely touch. The place was super quiet at night, which is honestly rare for a city center. I've stayed at so many places where motorcycles, loud exhausts, or dogs barking late at night made it hard to sleep. This place was the complete opposite. The window soundproofing did a decent job keeping all of that out too. The location was just amazing. For the first time ever, I didn't need to drive out for food at all, which almost never happens in Malaysia. My favourite apom manis spot in Penang, a place I make sure to visit every single trip, was only a 2-minute walk away. There's many more kopitiam, cafes like The Garden Cottage by Cara Caro, restaurants are just a walk away. That alone was a huge win for me. For what I paid, the value was just incredible. Honestly felt too good to be true given everything that came with the stay. I travel a lot and I never stay at the same place twice, but this one is the exception. It was genuinely that good. I will 100% be coming back here the next time I visit Penang. The host was super responsive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

The only thing I can think of that wasn't perfect was the WiFi. It could get a bit slow and laggy at times. To be fair, when it was stable it was actually fast, but the inconsistency was noticeable, especially if you need a reliable connection.

Booked a 3-room apartment wherein each of us had our own room and bathroom, apartment also uses a digital lock which was convenient for all of us. Location was perfect, a short 5-10 mins drive to almost everywhere in Georgetown. Place was super clean and cosy with the warm lightings and there’s an additional touch of service with tissues, hand soap, Hooga diffuser and filtered water available. Staff were especially friendly too!

Very child friendly, floor bed, bathtub, baby chair and corners of tv console has protector. We brought a one year old infant to stay and he enjoyed the big living space. Each room has its own bathroom, it’s perfect for family staying over. I believe each floor only has one unit, we have our private entry way to our door, i can put stroller outside. It’s like an airbnb, host is prompt in replying messages. Every part of the house is very well thought of. Lots of local food nearby. If only location is at Macalister it would have been even better because we will travel past that area to head out and back, but this location is perfect for a peaceful stay with family and a popular dimsum and coffee shops, also easy to get grab.

We love everything about this house- location is excellent (close to all the delicious food) , and taxi rides are 10min to most attractions and city centre. The house has everything we need .

The host was very informative even before our stay. We asked questions through the app and received prompt responses. The apartment was very clean and bright with natural lighting.

There was a slight smell from the washer while it was running. But the clothes came out fine with no smell.

We liked that each bedroom had a bathroom attached, location was convenient and the apartment had a good feel about it. A bonus was there was Netflix which was easy to access. I have had difficulties accessing Netflix in other apartments and given up on it.

The entrance driveway was a little narrow. But then it maybe our car was a little long and big!

Cordington House exceeded our expectations! It was exactly like the photos. The place was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable. We discovered the water heater in one of the bathrooms wasn't working. We texted them late at night, and it was resolved first thing in the morning! Responses from the staff are always immediate and helpful. Thank you! There are plenty of restaurants (Lhong Tou Dim Sum is a must-try!) nearby, a bustling market with plenty local food in the mornings. Although we were on the ground level, we never noticed any noise from the outside. Bonus to being on the ground level, we requested the Grab food drivers to deliver the meals via the window. Saved us the hassle of having to head out to collect the food. 😉

Everything! Location, cleanliness, roominess, comfort, quality of stuff provided, the attention to detail of every piece of equipment/ facilities provided. It felt like it was a hotel but with the feel of an apartment. We were so comfortable. The sofa bed was also comfortable, there were stuff for the baby as well. No crib, but a bath tub and baby chair were provided with even utensils and cutlery for kids. The kitchen was well-stocked, tea/coffee was available at the lobby to be used whenever we needed it. The shower/ hot water were all good and with good water pressure. Lift available for use but there are at least 2-3 steps that you will need to go up before reaching the lift. So that may be a bit of an inconvenience if there are people on a wheelchair. Will definitely stay here again. Only regret is that I hadn't booked it for a similar trip 2 years ago. The apartment is exactly like the pictures; if not better in real life.

Nothing at all! Just a couple of pointers for the host, if I may..... It would have been great to have at least a couple of tea towels/hand towels for use in the kitchen area after using the sink. Facial tissue was provided but that is not quite sturdy enough to wipe hands after doing the dishes. We used one of the bath towels instead to wipe our hands after using the sink. It would have been great if the tissues were placed in the rooms instead. This is by no means a deal-breaker though.

Much love for the hassle free check in and check out. The unit is exactly as in the photos. The facilities are in good condition. Much needed of parking provided for two cars per unit. Cuckoo and kitchen utensils provided. Fast reply of customer service. Definitely will repeat! Thank you for the warm hospitality.

Spotlessly clean. Washer/dryer is always welcome especially if travel is more than 3 days and you are a family. Host was very responsive to queries and requests. Great air-conditioning. Food options around the apartment is great.

Parking is quite tight.

I’ve stayed in many apartments and this is by far the best stay ever. It boils down to the little details like plenty of hangers, extra pillows, good washer-dryer with clear instructions and even a drying rack. The furniture is baby-proof and we even found a baby chair. There’s also Netflix! Perfect for families

Location is not in Georgetown area so you need to take a grab. Not a big problem since we could get a ride easily and it’s quite cheap. Not walkable to any nearby malls. Gurney plaza is abt 5 mins drive away.

The apartment was very clean, well-organised and had a calm, almost zen feel that made it easy to relax. The manager was also extremely helpful – even after checkout, she let us store our bags and shoes, then carefully covered the shoes in plastic and tied them up for us. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of lots of eateries around Pulau Tikus and even a nearby mall.

Nothing major stood out as a drawback during our stay.

Codrington House is a clean, relaxing, and very comfortable place to stay. The lighting is excellent, and the water pressure is amazing, which really adds to the overall comfort. The management and staff are very harmonious, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They are also flexible and always willing to help, making the stay smooth and stress-free. The accommodation is well-equipped with thoughtful daily necessities such as disposable slippers, toothbrushes + toothpaste. There is also a branded water dispenser along with plenty of ordinary tableware provided, which makes it feel very convenient and home-like. The location is extremely convenient — just a short walk to the famous Pulau Tikus market, and many well-known local food spots are nearby. Free parking is also available, which is a big plus. additionally, due to a lovely seasonal touch — we were gifted four small cakes. 💖

Location is super convenient and near a market with plenty of delectable local foods. Also near gurney drive malls and other attractions. Kitchen is well equipped and every room has ensuite toilets

Lack of proper wardrobes. There's a hanger to hang your clothes so it's okay for a short stay. Also the bedsheets are slightly scratchy. More bath towels could be provided

The building is very new and quiet. We got into the apartment with clear instructions and zero hitches. The inside was so new and clean with thoughtful furniture placed in a homely way - grandparents and children immediately felt at ease. Loved that there's a washer/dryer with ample cabinets that had detergent and I could put the dirty laundry and clean folded laundry right after! Attached ensuites in every room, amazing!!! And Netflix already logged in!! When we expressed concern about the windows in the children's room, their staff came immediately to rectify with whatever tools she could gather. They take feedback v seriously and check in everyday to see if things are fine. Speechless. Even better than hotel. Oh there is a little mini mart just 5 steps away u can get your milk, bread, cereal etc. Plus a coffee bean we bought cakes for bday there. Plus a row of small famous eateries along the landed houses. Sooooo good! And cab to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon from there is just 10-15 minutes.

Their lift is small and the doors shut quick so be careful with little kids. There is a door in the apartment that is clearly indicated NO ENTRY - it leads to a staircase. Abit odd coz it is inside the apartment - I think it is locked though but be mindful again of kids!

The apartment is very clean and spacious with good sunlight. Location is good. I like the apartment has washer and dryer too. I Don really can give any - ve comment about it.

If I really have to pin point something then it would be the bed. However, the rest of my family find no issue with it. I mean it will be more than 100 marks if it's a hotel bed. For the rest of the +ve experience I would love to stay there again.

Location. Many eating places within walking distance I.e. nasi kandar, nyonya, ramen, street food, hawker stalls. There’s a bilabila mart across the street if you need to get drinks.

Both Yumi and Kelly were excellent in making us welcome. They helped transfer our luggage and perishables from the 3 bed apartment to the single bed apartment.
