We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The service was impeccable, and our butler, Ngurah, was exceptional — always available, incredibly kind, and genuinely dedicated to making sure we were happy and comfortable. We truly felt that he went above and beyond for us. We also had the pleasure of having a private driver who accompanied us on an excursion and was both our driver and guide, which made the experience truly special. An unforgettable stay!

View was spectacular. Room was huge and had everything we needed for an amazing stay, plus it was beautifully landscaped and designed. Bed was super comfortable. My experience was nothing short of amazing. As a first timer in Bali, I was wowed at the reception I received by the staff. Particularly Roy and Indra who were our private butler. The room offered breathtaking views, the kind that stays with you long after you’ve left. Everything was excellently put together, from my pool decoration to my private romantic birthday dinner. The food was a hit, we loved every dish. It was clear throughout our stay that the staff took genuine pride and joy in making each guest’s experience memorable. Their warmth felt authentic, not scripted and that made all the difference. We would be back, cos honestly, who doesn’t like to be in pampered.

We stayed at The Ridge Bali for two nights in Ubud and everything was absolutely perfect. We truly loved every single aspect of our stay. From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional. The driver arranged by the hotel was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. He picked us up from the airport, later took us to another city in Bali, and also provided us with a fantastic tour. His service made our trip even more special. The hotel itself is outstanding. The reception service was spectacular, always professional, warm, and attentive. They were fully available 24 hours a day and very easy to contact via WhatsApp, which made everything extremely convenient. Our room was excellent: beautifully designed, very comfortable, and with stunning views. The facilities are very new, modern, and impeccably clean. We also enjoyed the in-room massage service, which was absolutely amazing. The two therapists who came to our room were outstanding — truly one of the best massage experiences we’ve had. Finally, the views from the breakfast area and the pool are breathtaking, and the breakfast service itself was extraordinary. High-quality food, great service, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Wir hatten das große Glück, eine Woche im Ridge Bali Hotel verbringen zu dürfen – und es war einfach traumhaft! Die Privatsphäre ist einzigartig: Unsere Villa war ein echtes Paradies, wunderschön gestaltet und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Man fühlt sich komplett ungestört und kann die Ruhe und den Luxus in vollen Zügen genießen. Ein besonderes Lob verdient der Service. Sowohl unser Fahrer als auch die Butler waren jederzeit zur Stelle, unglaublich professionell und gleichzeitig herzlich. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Augen abgelesen – besser kann man sich nicht aufgehoben fühlen. Ebenfalls zu erwähnen sind die Massagen. Wir hatten hier die besten Massagen! Die Damen machen einen hervorragenden Job. Preis Leistung ist einfach unglaublich. Auch das Essen hat uns begeistert: frisch, köstlich und liebevoll angerichtet. Für Gäste, die wie wir länger bleiben, wäre es lediglich schön, wenn die Menüauswahl noch ein wenig breiter wäre – das ist aber schon Kritik auf sehr hohem Niveau. Alles in allem: Ein perfekter Ort für alle, die Wert auf Luxus, Ruhe und exzellenten Service legen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Peaceful stay with stunning views The Ridge was the perfect escape from the bustle of Ubud. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — lush green all around, especially at sunrise. The service was warm and attentive without ever being too much. A special highlight was the complimentary massage — such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra relaxing. The Ridge Bali is the place to stay in Ubud! Everything at the hotel/ villa was perfect. All the staff were incredible, it was the best service we ever experienced at a hotel/ villa. All requests were responded to and fulfilled within minutes - direct WhatsApp communication with reception/ butler. The staff are extremely friendly and very professional and will do everything they can (and more) to accommodate guests. They always welcomed us warmly (and genuinely), responded promptly and went above and beyond. The villa itself is modern and beautifully decorated to a very high standard with everything you could want or need. The villa’s outdoor area is wonderful - the pool, relaxation areas and the view of the river/ rice fields and jungle areas are breathtaking! Housekeeping always made sure the room was very clean and well kept. The food at the restaurant (or in-room dining) is delicious and fresh. Special arrangements can be made with the hotel prior to arrival for special occasion with decorations, etc. I would recommend booking a car transport with the hotel throughout the stay for excursions and going to/ from restaurants, cafes, etc. The driver is very friendly and knowledgable of the local area. The Ridge Bali went above and beyond our expectations and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Ubud!

The trip was absolutely amazing! The villas were incredibly beautiful and luxurious, the services were outstanding, and the staff at the resort were very friendly and welcoming. Clean, modern with friendly staff

We enjoyed every aspect of our time at the Ridge in Ubud. The staff and butler service were more than accomodating of all our requests and nothing was difficult. The room was excellent and comfortable with spectacular views. The entire experience was easy and relaxing from the moment we arrived. We will happily return to the Ridge on our next visit to UBUD.

The best staff I met in Bali so far really friendly, the room was nice and the view was amazing. Breakfast was really good.

Property is very tiny, apart big villas & restaurant there are no lobby, no spa area.

Food is quite average. It's a la carte system, which I'm totally fine, but the quality of food needs to be improved.

The Ridge Bali is a short drive from downtown Ubud and they have a free shuttle service to drive you there and back so it's very convenient. Generally speaking, the entire staff has been absolutely amazing, always going the extra mile to make sure our stay remained memorable. Special thanks to Angga who made sure our stay will remain a memorable one

The staff was incredible, Anggi and Ngurah were so hospitable and friendly. They helped us organize a day trip to sites around Ubud and even packed a bag for our day trip. Enjoyed massages from our room. The villa was beautifully decorated and breakfast was delicious. The view from the restaurant is stunning. We celebrated our anniversary there and could not have chosen a better place to spend it.

There are five villas at hotel and we stayed at room 1. which is at the back of hotel. I expect to have jumgle view but it doesn’t. Hope to go again and stay at other villas.

We had an amazing time at The Ridge Bali. With only five villas, privacy is assured. We stayed in one of the two River View villas. The interiors and exterior spaces are truly sublime. The view is stunning. The privilege of looking directly into nature with no building in front of you is something we did not take for granted. The service is also extraordinary. Indra, Angga and Geni took such special care of us. The entire team treat their guests like family. So much so, it felt sad to say goodbye. We enjoyed both in-Villa dining, as well as multiple dinners at the breathtaking bar, Sayan Valley - the perfect spot for cocktails at sunset.

The service provided by Ngurah, our butler was exceptional. He is an asset to the property. The villas are new and very comfortable as well as very well appointed. The morning and turn down services conducted seamlessly without interruption (they noticed when we left the villa. There was nothing that was too much for them, from organising massages in the room, to organising transport to nearby hotels for dinner or cocktails and a late checkout on the day of departure. Note - there is no gym on site however the property can organise access to the gym nearby. The location of the place is exceptional.

The only, point of improvement was that on the morning of check out, the outside deck area was not prepared and lounges uncovered - if was as if we had left already, however when checkout is at 12 there is still half a day in which you could enjoy the private pool and deck.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Ridge Bali in the Sayan area of Ubud. The hotel has six fully serviced villas, which are very comfortable and luxurious. The staff were extremely nice and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. Overall, everything was great.

I chose this place because it is very new, has an amazing view with it’s location and it looked amazing with it’s ambiance. And my experience was far beyond this. First of all they welcome me with a delicious drink at the bar and Vlad hosted me very nicely while i was waiting for my room. Also they upgraded my villa and the villa has a stunning view. The moment i saw it i felt like i am in heaven. The villa has river, jungle and rice terrace view. Every little detail about the villa the design itself, the decor is so elegant and tasteful. You can see the elegance of Balinese touch in everything. Everything you may need and even more has been considered. So private and cozy that you feel yourself so relaxed and indulged. Unfortunately i stayed only 2 nights but i spent all my time in The Ridge Bali and didn’t want to go outside. Angga and Anggi are very professional, kind and caring. They didn’t skip any detail to make yourself comfortable and felt special. The bar area is also exceptional with its view, especially at sunset and the menu it has. I had my delicious breakfasts in my villa, amazing dinners at the bar area. I also had yoga session and massage in my room, both of them were great, thanks to Win and Sri. The villas are cleaned twice a day. There is always fresh fruits in the villa. I had an afternoon tea, was also very nice and delicious. You can easily contact the butlers via whatsapp, they are so careful with your privacy and so kind. Thanks to Desak, who contacted me from the begining to the end. Thanks to everyone, they all made my stay memorable. And lastly thanks to the Owner, thanks to you for this amazing place, and the exceptional luxury service you and your team provide to your guests. This is exactly the best and unique experience I have ever had! I would definitely love to come back again.

Everything was amazing! The rooms are perfectly equipped with every detail you could wish. It was all the time so clean and we received fresh fruits and drinks. The outside area with the stunning view and pool - just speechless! The staff is very friendly and helpful with everything you need. They organized an amazing tour- the food in the restaurant and the breakfast is a dream! We almost couldn’t wait to get up in the morning to enjoy it and never went to another place outside to eat, as we just wanted to enjoy the restaurants lovely cooked food. The ridge was the best place we went on our Bali trip! After we left this place it was really hard to get comfortable at another place! I really hope to can come back one day! Thanks to the whole ridge team to make this stay unforgettable! You are such an amazing team ❤️

A new hotel in a beautiful location with a great view. The staff is very nice and friendly.

As usual the problems are hidden in the details. The fridge in the room and a machine outside the villa make a very loud noise, I couldn't sleep well even after putting earplugs in my ears. And this was in the villa which is considered the best. They offered us an upgrade for an additional fee and we accepted, we'd rather not do it. The most unpleasant and completely unprofessional thing was the way the hotel management reacted the next day, after sending them the sound recording made during the night. Instead of at least cancelling the extra fee for the upgrade, they tried to negotiate to cancel just part of it. When you check guests into your best villa and they can't sleep because of noise from broken or misplaced appliances, it's unfortunate to ask for extra payment for the upgrade. This boutique hotel could be a good option and it's a shame for the good investment made by the owner not to have better quality management, not being able to handle such a situations properly.

In a word: excellent! What a wonderful place to relax. Everything was done to perfection. The staff, especially Ngurah, was super helpful. The villa is fully equipped including a lovely infinity pool. In the beautiful Sunset Bar we had a delicious breakfast and a lovely dinner in the evening. If we are in Ubud again we will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

What an INCREDIBLE experience!!! Right from when we were picked up from the airport in a brand new luxury SUV (pick up was very easy via What’s App) to arriving at the villa. Everyone was prepared and our arrival felt flawless and we felt so cared for & pampered. Everyone was just so genuine and kind. A HUGE shoutout to our butlers, Ngurah & Edy. You are AMAZING!!!!! Incredible shining stars indeed. I will sound like a broken record but honestly, everything was amazing. We loved our villa. AC was quiet and actually kept the villa comfortable cool. Everything impeccably clean and very modern. Surroundings are quiet (you don’t hear traffic or the staff working) — it’s just you and the jungle & river. Beautiful view looking towards the lush jungle & Four Seasons Resort. Food is A++++ — breakfast was divine every single day. Looooved the avocado toast! Communication was done via what’s app with your butler - loved that feature. There was also a phone in the room if you wished to use it. The restaurant onsite, Sayan Valley, also has delicious food and great cocktails. Servers there are so warm & friendly. It was a joy to go downstairs and not order room service. We enjoyed the warm atmosphere they created. We have now been to two different luxury boutique villas/hotels and the Ridge surpassed all of them — BY FAR. I’d give 100 stars if I could — and I don’t give rave reviews often. Keep up the amazing work, The Ridge Team! Certainly do hope to come again in future!!!

The moment we entered the door, we felt like we came to a completely different world. They gave a very warm welcome. They prepared a delicious welcome drink, which felt very good during the check-in process. They upgraded our room, and we were happy. The view was magnificent. Every detail has been tastefully thought out and decorated: simple, stylish, elegant and comfortable. There was a tea and coffee machine, different types of tea and coffee capsules. They prepared cookies and tropical fruits and put them next to it. We liked it very much. We paid including breakfast. There was a breakfast menu in the room, we informed them what we wanted to eat the night before and asked them to bring it to our room. It was very nice to have breakfast in the garden of the room with the view and open air. Each of the foods was delicious and satisfying, and their presentations were beautiful. We had dinner at the hotel, the presentation and taste were very good and they took very good care of us. The hotel also offers massage services. We said the day before that we wanted a massage and fixed the time. They came to our room exactly at the time we planned. It has become one of the most unique experiences in our lives. I definitely recommend you to try it. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and warm. They made us feel like at home. Edy took such good care of us that he made every moment at the hotel unique. When we said we wanted to buy tropical fruit, he bought mangosteen fruit for us. Many thanks and love to Edy and Anggi for their contribution to leaving us with such beautiful memories. There were a few places we wanted to visit when leaving the hotel, and they took us wherever we wanted. They said they could also help with airport transfer. In other words, from the moment we stepped into the hotel to the end, they showed incredible interest and added value to every moment. They provided us with an experience far beyond our expectations.

We have just come back from the Ridge and thoroughly recommend it to anyone who will listen! The river view villa is beautifully designed and appointed. The jungle and river views from the deck area are just wonderful. Everything in the property has been carefully hand picked down to the beautiful ceramics breakfast is served in. The attention to detail is everywhere, the design of the room and the finishes just on point, relaxing and stylish. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We have never been looked after like this anywhere else. Our 2 lovely butlers Edy and Ngurah made sure all our wishes came true! Nothing was too much trouble. Our anniversary sure didn’t go unnoticed! Thanks again for all the lovely attentions, we couldn’t have asked for more. The property also has a small but stylish restaurant serving Indonesian cuisine with a view. Do yourselves a favour and book your stay!

It was our first time in Bali and we had a spectacular vacation right from the moment our butler Agung picked us up at the airport. Agung went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible, he was incredibly helpful and very friendly, helped us organise trips, and told us a lot of insights about all sorts of things starting from sightseeing tips to Bali's culture and history. The villa and the service exceeded all our expectations! Watching the most beautiful sunsets in Ubud right from the doorstep of your villa is priceless. At times, it was hard to leave to explore Ubud just because it was so cosy and relaxing in our villa. Since the villa was recently built everything there is brand new, and you can feel that they've put a lot of thought when designing it. Many little touches such as a great selection of local teas or cosy kimonos make you feel welcomed and at home. Loved the breakfast selection, the coffee really good too. They also have a decent selection of in-room dining, plus we were able to sometimes order a delivery from the nearby restaurants which the hotel staff very nicely served on regular plates. We also had a massage included (one of the best we had in Bali) and the tea ceremony - which was a delight in itself. All the hotel employees were really welcoming and friendly and promptly accommodated all our requests. I would definitely recommend this place and would really love to return here myself.

The location was set upon a ‘ridge’ overlooking the most stunning view. It’s not too far from the city centre (15min by car ) or adventures activities. Perfect spot.

A great experience with stunning sunset view. The second time in Bali, to celebrate anniversary. We have previously stayed in other resorts in Bali, and the experience in this boutique hotel is as good as any of the top-tiers that we have stayed in. You could feel that the hotel team sincerely wants to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. They take note of every detail that you like, e.g the fruit you prefer, the coffee, the tea, and always there to help. Shoutout to the personal butler Agung who is very nice and always helpful. The hotel is also new, so all the facilities are easy to use which was a problem for some other older resorts in Bali. This is a great place to stay with a vacation mindset - could do some tour in Ubud or nearby during the day, and enjoy the sunset view to wrap up the day.

What a beautiful place! We felt home from the very first moment. A warm welcome, from a exeptionally friendly and attentive staff. A very comfortable room with a extraordinary tasteful interior design and a spacious outdoor area with a plunge in Pool surrounded by lush plants. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed sunset with a chilled glass of white wine on one of the sun beds. Our charming butler Agung took care of all our requests all day long. A really delightful stay, on a highly recommendable charming place.
