Located just about 2 km from Kathmandu Ring Road, it’s the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle while still being conveniently close to everything. Nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood surrounded by greenery, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. I never expected to find such a tranquil and refreshing accommodation in Kathmandu. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The café downstairs adds a special charm to the property, filling the atmosphere with the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee and delicious food. If you’re looking for an excellent stay on a budget without compromising on comfort or hospitality, I highly recommend Mount Star Homestay. It truly sets a great example of what a homestay should be. Thank you, Mount Star! We’ll definitely be back again very soon!

The surrounding mountain environment is beautiful, and the view from the rooms is absolutely stunning! The staff and owner are very kind and treat guests like family. The food at the cafe is also fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to spend time in a calm and beautiful place!

The options for meals could have been clearer, or have a menu that is designed for your new lovely cafe.
