Airy and Bright one-Bedroom apt

Good location, roomy and comfortable.

On the surface it looked clean but when you looked around and viewed the bathroom it was disgusting with heavy mould on the shower floor and up the walls. This was mentioned back in July 2026 by another occupant and looks like it has only got worse. A health hazard. The oven and the exhaust fan unit desperately needs cleaning. Is the apartment ever checked after cleaning? A light over the kitchen bench was not working. We were very disappointed from the pictures and other reviews.

Very central location, within walking distance of many attractions and public transport options. The check-in process was relatively easy and straightforward. The apartment had everything needed for a short stay, including kitchen essentials, although the pans were old and scratched.

The apartment needs proper blackout curtains, especially in summer when it gets bright very early. Even with everything closed, the room was bright. The apartment had been cleaned, but many areas were dusty, especially the ceiling light, which had a thick layer of dust. Communication was also poor: the phone number did not work, Booking.com could not reach them either, and some messages only received unrelated automated replies.

The apartment was quite and peaceful. The location easy to find and have shops around. The owner very helpful.

Consider to have dryer in apartment for long stay guest to clean and dry clothes.

I had a pleasant stay at this apartment in the Kamppi neighborhood. The location is excellent — close to restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation, making it very convenient for getting around Helsinki. The apartment itself is tucked away in a quiet courtyard, which made for peaceful mornings and evenings. The building has an old-fashioned elevator that’s surprisingly reliable and very quiet — a bit of a charming relic. Inside the apartment, the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils, which made cooking easy. The bed was somewhat firm for my preference, but still comfortable enough for a decent night’s sleep. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They were responsive, welcoming, and made check-in and the overall experience very smooth. I’d definitely recommend this place for a stay in Helsinki.

One note for light sleepers visiting in summer: while there are blinds, they aren’t blackout blinds, so I found an eye mask helpful during the light nights. The closet is very spacious, though the light inside wasn’t working during my stay, so I ended up living out of my suitcase.

Very central location, clean and fully functional with all that we need. Central heating was excellent especially when it was -10 degrees outside. The lift was super interesting yet functions really well.

Bathroom was tiny but has everything you need including washing machine.

Lovely apartment, clean, lots of space and storage. Well-located and very quiet building.

Getting the key was actually a bit difficult - I did not enjoy searching the park whilst leaving my family with the luggage, and it took some time to find the lockbox.

It was a comfortable, clean and warm apartment, in a quiet location. A modern apartment in older building with character. Washing machine, hot shower and comfortable bed. We loved the old elevator. Key collection instructions were clear although the location was a little unusual, but with images provided in instructions was easy to work out.

No toaster provided, A toaster would be easier than using the grill for breakfast. No programmed TV channels, only streaming channels available you have to sign in to. These are minor inconveniences not a deal breaker.
