Die Organisation beim Frühstück war absolut nicht ausreichend...immer Leerläufe hin und her und lange gewartet. Schlechte Schulung des Restaurantchefs. Ausserdem hatte ich eine absolut zu harte "Beton" Umrandung des Bettes inkl. Kopfteil (war steinhartes Material) wo man sich verletzen kann...entspricht nicht 5 Stern. Man hat uns aber dann mit einem Schutz geholfen.

The room way below the expected, House keeping also not belong to Waldorf Astoria level, the reception staff was very kind but couldn't help in changing room or plan any trip, not what we expected.. I believe the hotel may do better to reach to the standard of Waldorf Astoria..

Extrem freundliches Personal, Frühstück gut, Abendessen ok, aber wenig Auswahl.

Bedienung beim Frühstück. Alle sehr freundlich, aber überfordert. Für sehr viele Gäste nur 4 Personen im Service. Besser wäre ein Buffet gewesen. So dauerte alles oft sehr lange, Tea kam schon lauwarm usw.

Neues sehr schönes Hotel, freundliche Mitarbeiter, sind auf meinen Zimmerwunsch eingegangen. Habe ein schönes Upgrade bekommen, danke. Schönes SPA, leider extra zu zahlen.

SPA extra zu zahlen und kein Pool zum Schwimmen. Frühstück könnte besser sein und länger, ist nur bis 10:00.

Pobyt w hotelu Waldorf Astoria w Helsinkach był bardzo udany. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje niezwykle miły i pomocny personel. Mimo że przybyliśmy przed oficjalną godziną zameldowania, otrzymaliśmy pokój od razu, a dodatkowo zaoferowano nam upgrade, co było bardzo miłym gestem. Szczególne podziękowania kierujemy do konsjerża Samiego za profesjonalizm i zaangażowanie. Pokój był komfortowy, doskonale wyposażony, a prywatna sauna stanowiła świetne uzupełnienie pobytu. Śniadania serwowane były w formie donoszenia przez obsługę, co nie do końca odpowiadało naszym preferencjom. Jednak mieliśmy przyjemność poznać Panią Anię, która swoją uprzejmością i profesjonalnym podejściem w pełni to zrekompensowała. Chętnie dzieliła się informacjami i wszystko dokładnie wyjaśniała, co było bardzo miłe i pomocne. Podsumowując, pobyt oceniamy bardzo pozytywnie i z przyjemnością wrócilibyśmy do tego hotelu.

Jedynym minusem była nieco niższa dźwiękoszczelność pokoju, co momentami wpływało na komfort wypoczynku.

Majoituspaikassa pidimme siitä, että meidät otettiin hyvin vastaan ja ohjattiin omaan huoneeseemme sekä samalla kerrottiin missä hotellin eri tilat sijaitsevat. Huone oli erittäin viihtyisä, ylellinen sekä siisti ja huoneen valojen, äänien ja lämpötilan säätäminen onnistui helposti tabletin avulla. Huoneen sänky oli todella hyvä ja lakanat erittäin pehmeät. Aamupala/ asiakaspalvelu oli erinomaista ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä sekä ammattitaitoista. Pidimme siitä miten majoituspaikka oli huomioinut syntymäpäiväni yllätyksellä, joka piristi päiväämme paljon. Nautimme olostamme hotellissa ja aiomme tulevaisuudessa tulla uudestaan :)

the breakfast was missing the indulgence factor, being the only reason I do not award the 10/10. I dislike not being able to choose the table I wish to enjoy breakfast, table designated for two people helplessly too small and cramped. Otherwise everything was five star

Lovely hotel in excellent location, just a 10 minute walk to the centre. The room was great and super clean with cleaners coming twice a day. The staff at reception and peacock bar were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Spa facilities were great, enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge. Breakfast was very good with good quality products.

Expensive drinks

Staying at this hotel feels like a warm embrace. The hotel in itself is gorgeous, the staff is extremely professional, welcoming and so warm and they make you feel at home right away. This was by far the best hotel we have ever experienced and cannot wait to come back. We were travelling with our 4 month old baby and the way they accommodated us and were loving to the baby really warmed our hearts.

You pay 400/500 euro for a 5 star hotel but then Re charged an extra 55 euro if you want to go to the Sauna or the pool. That should be standard in a five star hotel. It’s a 5 star hotel operating a cheap Ryanair extra charges model.

Infrastructure staff service food

Upea luksushotelli Kruunuhaan rauhallisella alueella, kuitenkin lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä keskustan ravintoloista ja muista kohteista. Upea ylellinen moderni sisustus sekä hotellin aulatiloissa että huoneissa yhdistettynä vanhan rakennuksen tunnelmaan. Henkilökunta aivan mahtavaa, erityismaininta ovimiehelle, joka sai meidät tuntemaan itsemme kuin kuninkaallisiksi. Aamupala oli erityisen hyvä. Juhlimme hääyötä, ja tämä oli huomioitu pienellä muistamisella huoneessa, sekä henkilökunta onnitteli meitä tullessa, tästä tuli kiva fiilis.

Huoneen TV:n kanssa oli ongelmaa, asia kyllä korjattiin, mutta vaati 3 eri henkilökunnan jäsenen ravaamista huoneessa, ennenkuin saatiin toimimaan.

A very nice hotel overall, excellent service and exceptionally clean.

It was not made clear that the spa centre is off limits for children, hence we could not use it. Also we were given a room without windows (very small ones almost like cannon holes) even though the room photos were showing large windows to the floor.

Erinomainen palvelu! Todella siisti hotelli. Kiva kylpyhuone, siisti huone. Viihhtyisä ravintola ja baari, sekä aamiaistila, kaikissa todella ystävällinen palvelu. Mieheni syntymäpäivä huomoioitiin tosi mukavasti vierailumme aikana.

Sänky natisee. Tämä oli toinen vierailu hotellissa ja molemmilla kerroilla olemme todenneet komposiittimateriaalista tehdyn sängyn natisevaksi kun siinä kääntää kylkeä, jos on kovin pyöruvä nukkuja, tämä voi haitata.. Nyt sänky oli parempi kuin ensimmäisellä vierailulla. Patja, peitot ja tyynyt olivat ihanat.

Kaikki tilat olivat siistejä ja kauniita. Huoneemme oli upea ja hienompi kuin kuvissa. Huone käytiin erikseen siistimässä yöpymistä varten (päiväpeitto pois, verhot kiinni ym.). Sänky oli erityisen mukava. Aamupala oli laadukas ja herkullinen. Spa oli yksi Helsingin keskustan parhaita. Paras hotelli, jossa olen Helsingissä yöpynyt.

Aamiaisella puolisoni tilasi kaksi lämmintä annosta, kahvin ja mehun. Hänelle tuotiin vain kahvi ja toinen lämpimistä annoksista. Mehun perään kysyimme, ja se tuotiin nopeasti. Yllätyimme, että spa ei kuulunut huoneen hintaan.

Cozy hotel, room with sauna was really good experience.

Very disappointing experience. Not worth the price at all. From the very beginning, the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Upon arrival, we were intentionally given a room of a lower category than the one we had booked. Only after we expressed our dissatisfaction was the room changed to the correct level. The hotel charges extra for literally everything, without transparency. For example, simply entering the spa and lying on a sunbed costs 45€, and this is not clearly communicated in advance. Instead, the charge is quietly added to your room bill — without any signature or confirmation from the guest. Even more shocking: the hotel charged our credit card for additional expenses at 2 a.m., one day before checkout, again without waiting for any signature or approval. I have never experienced anything like this in any hotel worldwide. There is also a 20€ service fee just to bring in-room dining to your room. It honestly feels like the hotel is desperately trying to make money on every tiny detail. The service is absolutely not client-oriented, and the overall experience does not justify a price of 700€+ per day — especially considering that check-in is strictly at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. This was a big mistake, and I will never stay at this hotel again.

Vaimoni ja minä olemme yli 60 v Silti meidät sijoitettiin lähes tyhjässä ravintolassa viereiseen pöytään jossa oli 4 aikuista ja 4 pientä äänekästä lasta. The food was not up to 5 star standards. The hot dishes were lukewarm. And Tasteless My wife and I are over 60 Yet we were placed in a nearly empty restaurant at a table next to 4 adults and 4 small, noisy children.

The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful. The rooms are stunning, well appointed, and visually everything you would expect from a Waldorf Astoria. Unfortunately, two major issues significantly impacted our stay. First, we arrived after a long delayed journey at dinner time to find the restaurant fully booked. While that can happen, we then ordered room service for a very simple meal three burgers and chips. It took over an hour to arrive, and when it did, the chips were stone cold and the burgers were severely undercooked. We specifically requested well done and received medium rare. One burger meal was refunded, but that did little to salvage the experience after such a long travel day. Second, and more frustrating, was the room lighting system. The rooms have automatic motion sensor lights that activate whenever you move. During the night, any movement triggered multiple lights across the room and bathroom, repeatedly waking everyone. A bellman attempted to fix this by gaffer taping one sensor, which only solved part of the problem. Another bathroom light continued turning on throughout the night. The result was a genuinely awful night’s sleep when rest was badly needed. The front desk apologised and offered a few complimentary beers at the bar, but this did not come close to compensating for a ruined night, poor food quality, and lack of real resolution. A beautiful hotel in appearance, but the combination of bad room service and a completely impractical lighting system made this a stay we would not repeat.

The hotel carries the Waldorf-Astoria name and the price tag to match, but the beige-and-brass style already feels dated. Many of the staff were genuinely warm, and their attitude was the strongest part of the stay, you can see they’re trying. What fell short was the standard expected from this brand. No welcome drink, no fruit, not even a simple card in the room. Check in felt a bit awkward, and at check out I found myself carrying my luggage down the steps while staff were nearby. I also reached out before my stay for help arranging a guide and never received the promised follow-up. It’s a good hotel with kind people, but it doesn’t yet live up to the reputation its name suggests.

The hotel has recently been refurbished and it shows in all areas. Our room was immaculate especially the bathroom and had ample room for a wheelchair to comfortably manoeuvre around,this is also the case around the rest of the hotel.

Waldorf Astoria is a 5 star plus exellent

A beautifully renovated old building with a modern touch. We had a two-storey spa suite with its own sauna and a large bathtub. Stunning. The hotel offers excellent service and a great breakfast. The only small downside is the location, as it’s not right in the very center. Still, it’s only about a ten-minute walk to Senate Square.

Loistava aamiainen ja palvelu! Huoneesa toimiva valaistus ja lämpötilaa ja valaistusta oli helppo hallita padilla. Minibaarissa laaja valikoima. Huoneessa kaksi laukkutelinettä valmiina. Baarissa loistava palavelu jatkui ja drinkkilista oli oli erinomainen, myös mocktailit.

Huoneessamme ei ollut bidet-suihkua. Suihkukaapissa kattosuihkua käytettäessä, vesi valui kylpyhuoneen lattialle. Vaatekappi oli todella kapea, sinne mahtui kaksi talvitakkia ja yksi paita, ei muuta. Kahdelle aikuiselle talvella todella riittämätön tila.

What a wonderful addition to Helsinki! I don’t intend on staying anywhere else now that I’ve visited the Waldorf. Clean, comfortable, new - what more could you ask for? Was there for work so didn’t get to spend time in the spa, but it looked lovely. Extra praise for Nikita for being very friendly and helpful, and Joel for bringing some liveliness to the bar room.
