Where do I start. This is now my second review as I was contacted from the owner to ask me to change my original and they would give me some money back. I then changed my review and of course the owner ignored me, so I am putting my original back up for everyone to see! Hopefully no one else falls into the owners trap of changing anything, complete scam! Firstly I received a call asking when I would arrive, 10 mins I said. I got there no answer from anyone when I called them back on 2 different numbers. Had to sit in the car for 30 mins - just aswell I had a car with me. Got in the apartment then some maintenance guy just walks in without even knocking! The toilet was very wobbly just about fell off! Toilet paper was ridiculously thin, take ur own! For 6 people to stay there there was 2 glasses to drink from! Then the deposit was a struggle to get back. So all in all not a great experience - save ur money and don’t go!

We really enjoyed our stay at Muberry appartment. It is very spacious with high ceilings and windows, nicely designed and brand new. The large bedroom has 3 beds which is very convenient for a family stay. On top of it, service was great, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back.

Location, clean. Triple single beds were a hit with the kids.

The toilet rocks when sat on. This is unacceptable for the price we paid. Whilst modern appliances, fixtures and fittings, the installation seemed quite amateurish giving a delapidated feel to an otherwise recently refurbished property. There were holes in walls, floor trim cracked and wobbly floorboards under the laminated floor. The double room is barely double with the bed against the wall. Finally the Wi-Fi was patchy meaning we ended up consuming all our data allowance and more.

Location was good, near the a metro station. It appeared to have all the amenities mentioned, but we didn’t use them.

Receiving the information about how to get in the property … we were asked to complete a check-in form which included arrival time. Details weren’t received before arriving as the property and I had to call someone to get these sent. These was confusion over the payment and a requirement to take a deposit (after 11am in the day of arrival) but I was travelling so this wasn’t convenient. I’m still checking my account a to ensure not additional payments are taken. There was no hot water. The boiler was off because of low pressure in the system, we filled up the system and re-started the boiler but the hot water & heating system needs to be serviced as a matter of urgency.

Painful check in process. Deposit required before key release which is not clear at time of booking. Musty, and awful smell in kitchen. Dust in vents etc. Not had a deep clean in ages. Not pleasant at all for families

Hemos reservado para 6 personas, pero los platos y resto de enseres solo había para 3 personas. El sofá cama del salón es súper incómodo, sería recomendable que renueven el colchón.

I have travelled every corner of the world and slept everywhere, but little did I know that Newcastle would have made it into my list of “worst places I have slept in”. Short version for those of you who don’t want to read the full story, full story below: - mites in the bed - no hot water - no cookware for the kitchen - very very dirty - broken window, broken bathroom fan - terrible experience, asked for a refund and only got it partially We were trapped by the decent reviews and attractive price, but we wouldn’t recommend this apartment to our worst enemy. Full story: We arrived after a long 8-hour drive, tired and looking forward to a home-cooked meal, a hot shower, and an early night. The kitchen we found for the so desired home-cooked meal had 3 forks, no glasses, no towels, no colander, no pans. It did have one pot whose bottom came off when we tried to use it. The second (and only) pot was so small it could maybe fit one child’s meal, for sure not 4 starving adults. The owner was unresponsive and while 2 of us remained home trying the call them over and over, my friend and I went to the store to buy the bare minimum to cook. After we had already come back with a pan and a pot, and were almost done cooking, a lady arrived bringing 3 gruesome pots (this was already around 2 hours later, at 8.40 pm): one with an insect inside, one covered in oil, one stuck to the other from the dirt. I removed the insect, left all of the pots at the entrance and never touched them again. After dinner, finally a shower: surprise, surprise there is no hot water. The heater had an error code and 0 pressure, we couldn’t fix it and the water was freezing cold. My pregnant friend - tired from the endless day, sensitive to the additional stress and dirt - was already coughing from the dust and went straight to sleep fully clothed and disgusted. The rest of us changed without shower and went to bed, only to wake up bitten by mites.

Good size property

Firstly I received a phone all asking when I would arrive - I said 10 mins. Then got there just aswel we had a car to sit in. No one would answer the phone to us, tried two numbers, eventually got in 30 mins later. Only for some maintenance guy just to walk in apartment without knocking! Toilet was very wobbly just about fell off! For 6 people to be staying there, there was 2 glasses! Toilet paper was that thin, it done a woman 3 times going to the toilet! Then the £150 deposit took pretty much a whole day to get put back into my account.

Fantastic location with a beautiful lay out to the apartment. Everything we needed for our stay and communication with the property was great.

Tiny kitchen. Only one bathroom and toilet. The bathroom didn’t smell great as it had no window and the shower leaked from the door so the floor was wet.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Comfortable sofas and enough for our family of four. Beds and bedding are excellent. Bedroom carpet in both bedrooms new and excellent. Great television and eating area.

The only downside was the broken kitchen tap, and cooking and washing up was difficult because of this. Also, no teatowels were provided. There was no socket on the left side of the double bedroom to plug the lamp into!

Toilet broke in middle of night, no one to fix it until 9am. Had to fill buckets of water to flush down the toilet. Kitchen tap broke and sprayed water everywhere

Brilliantly located a couple of minutes from Gateshead Interchange. Easy to access, clear instructions and nice apartment. Comfy beds and all facilities needed.

Comfy mattresses, clean and plenty of space. Good value for money and great location for where we needed to be.

Booked an apartment with a terrace and was placed in one without it - then being told that there is no terrace, it's a terraced apartment (despite a terrace being specifically mentioned in the description). Very thin walls and no coffee or coffee machine (as mentioned in the description).

Hele fijne plek, op loopafstand van het centrum, maar ook met een paar minuten metro gemakkelijk te bereiken. Groot appartement, hele vriendelijke mensen die ook vroeg inchecken ook mogelijk maakten. Bij de bonusvraag staat trouwens 'wifi (toeslag)', maar er was gewoon gratis wifi aanwezig.

A good base for the four of us so close to Newcastle on a lovely quiet road. The apartment was well equipped and communications with the property managers were very good.

It was very spacious, decent location, great to have free parking.

Even tho the place was clean I feel the bathroom needs a really good deep clean, grout was dirty and mould around bottom of shower. Just felt bathroom needs attention. Also the place could do with a touch up. Could do with a tea towel for drying pots too.

The property is only three minutes walk from Gateshead Metro station. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood and the apartment was spacious and very clean. There was a microwave and oven as well as sufficient cutlery etc. The property is ideal for visiting Newcaslte and venturing into Hadrian's wall country. Gateshead Metro station is just one stop from Newcastle Central Station so no problems getting to property.

Unfortunately, my experience staying at this property was below par. Two main issues, when I arrived the apartment (1) smelt terribly of damp, probably mainly to do with the fact that no windows were able to open. I also found the apartment to feel quite unsafe, with the main building door only supported by a very wobbly Yale and an emergency exit fire door from one of the bedrooms straight outside which is also felt very unsafe during the night. With these two main problems, there was also a major issue with the WiFi. I was there for over a week and unless there was nobody else in any of the other apartments, it disconnected all the time and couldn't use it to video call stream online or watch anything on the TV either. I think overall it would be fine for groups having a get together for a night or two but apart from that, my experience (of apartment 1 anyway) was not a good one for a longer stay.

We booked this on booking.com and had no idea that I had to send off my license. I paid the deposit before hand as that was stated but when we arrived at the hotel we found that the doors were locked and couldn’t get in. There was no sign or no message received saying that the keys were in the locked box. It took us quite a bit of time just to figure out that they needed my license before giving me the code which as I said had not been clearly explained to me before. Eventually we got in. It is a nice cosy place and is very good for a group of people, but there were places where towel rails were hanging off the walls and there were very dusty places in certain parts of the hotel. If everything was explained to me better before I arrived then I would rate it higher.

shower water leaked into floor as it looks like it needs re sealing on the bottom but used towels to soak up any excess water. probably have more than one key for group staying or use a code to access all doors or key cards.

Spacious and good location

The property did not have much in it, especially essentials when it comes to cooking and cleaning. Arrived at the house and it didn’t have any cooking utensils, nor did it have any cleaning up equipment and products, not even a sweeping brush or a mop. The apartment also didn’t have any paper towels or cloths to wipe. It didn’t have bin bags to replace the one that became full meaning we had to buy all of these things to tidy up after ourselves. I don’t understand as there is a Tesco and Poundland nearby and I feel like the owners should’ve invested in making sure that every apartment had these essentials. It was frustrating having to spend money buying these things when I feel like an apartment should/ must have these things. Moving onto the fact that the apartment’s windows would not open, and we did have an incident where the over smoked up the house we were left with the only solution of keeping the main door open so the smoke could settle. I think it’s hazardous because in a case of a fire or a serious accident having windows that work would help. As well the unbelievable soaking wet carpet floor from bedroom 2, as the boiler of the house has been placed in there which makes no sense to me. Not only was the floor wet but also the noises that came from it anytime someone used the bathroom or tap was really unbearable. I hope you can do something about this. Last but not least we had serious issues with the automatic heating system which just kept going up although I would regularly reduce it. It got really bad to the point that over night it went up to 28 degrees and burned my friends foot as her bed in bedroom 1 is placed right next to the heater. We had to get her to the health centre urgently and she is now numb on her toes. This is unacceptable as it is a long list and health and safety issues. It could’ve been more serious and Mulberry apartments the only ones to blame.

It’s very spacious! Loved how it’s right out side the metro and taxi rank. The facilities were great as well! My stay was a hen do so the iron definitely came in handy!!

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like about the property. Just it may be worth touching up in a few areas but wear and tear is natural ☺️

Apartment had not been cleaned. In fact, the landlord told us "didn't bother sending cleaners as they thought it was fine." Sickness down the door and over the carpet. Oven was in a disgusting state. Makeup or blood smudged on units. Bins not emptied. Leaking radiator with water on the floor. Couldn't stay and to find alternative accommodation. Landlord told us he would refund us in full but that was obviously to shut us up as no refund ever received.

We stayed here for 3nights with our two children. The apartment was warm and spacious. Location was good - short walk 15-20min walk to centre of Newcastle and large Tesco nearby. There was onsite parking. Apartment was clean and recently renovated.

We had booked to stay in the top floor apartment but on arrival we were allocated the bottom floor without warning. On contacting the property we were told that it was not possible to move. One of the bedrooms had the fire exit door - it was a bit drafty and it didn't feel particularly safe so we slept with the children in the other room. The property had no carbon monoxide detector so we ended up buying our own. The shower in the bathroom leaked a lot onto the floor - this seems to have been mentioned in previous reviews but not yet addressed. The kitchen could have done with some more items e.g chopping board, wine glasses but it was fine if you were mostly eating out. It was a bit of a struggle to get our deposit back. We waited over a week from departure for the deposit and when I didn't receive a reply to my email I called the company. I was advised that it can take anything up to 12 working days for the deposit to show up in our account. I requested proof of the deposit being returned which was sent promptly and the money appeared in our account the following day (12 days following departure). It might be useful to let visitors know that their deposit has been returned and that delays can occur.

The location is very convenient for the metro station, the apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment has good quality furnishings and the lounge/dining area is a good size. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were adequate for our needs

The windows of the apartment are very old and did not really block out the traffic noise, which was considerable due to the close proximity of both the bus station and a busy main road nearby. The boiler was difficult to operate, when we tried it on a manual setting it only seemed to heat up the radiators for about 1 minute before switching off. The TV didn't offer us many channels. We could only manage to use the Iplayer, Spotify or YouTube apps - it didn't seem possible to use any other freeview channels

The apartment was massive, it was really quiet, easy to get to the city center.

Needs a bit of tlc, but to be expected when for larger numbers of guests.

I usually stay at Roomzzz for work which is in the City Centre - however, this was a last minute booking and Roomzzz was fully booked. The apartment was exactly how it looked on the pictures. Very easy to find and the check in process was seamless. The apartments were very clean.

Overall the property was great I’ve took 1 point of the rating due to just a couple of issues: Staying in Apartment 1 both bedrooms are right next to the back entrance of the property - the fire door which is used as an entrance is very loud when opening and shutting (this is used a lot throughout the night to with people coming and going) it led to very interrupted nights sleep. The bathroom also has a window which people pass going through the back entrance of property - whilst this window is frosted glass it has no blind over it - being on the ground floor for privacy it’d be better having a blind.

Perfect for our large group (spread across two apartments) Really appreciated the upgrade we received so we were all on the same floor- very thoughtful. Both were very clean, spacious and well equipped!

We had a bit of an issue with hot water in one apartment but the staff were so quick to respond and fix that it was no issue at all.

I liked we were all together in the 1 house, we had a big group of us.

Only 1 bathroom, 12 girls using 1 bathroom was a lot.
