Great location, love having all the facilities in the room and it was a great layout. I was here for the GNR so was perfect (if a little pricey because of it) would stay again though!

Great place to stay in Newcastle especially if you come by train. Close to train station and the river (and bridges) as well as quayside and city. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are really nice (with minimal but adequate kitchen facilities for short term stay). Modern bathroom with nice towels. They offer a quick bite of breakfast drinks (variety of coffees, teas or hot chocolate) with a croissant to “grab and go”.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress bowed in the middle. Very poor sleep because of that unfortunately.

The aparthotel concept is excellent, particularly when travelling with a child. Our apartment was exceptionally clean, calm and cleverly designed, with a surprisingly useful kitchenette, an excellent-sized fridge, hob, microwave and even a dishwasher. Being able to come back after a busy day and cook rather than take a tired child to another restaurant was invaluable. The blackout curtains were genuinely excellent, temperature control/air-conditioning worked beautifully, there was also an opening window, and the bathroom was spacious and very cleverly laid out. The White Company toiletries were a lovely touch. The communal areas downstairs are particularly well thought out: complimentary tea and coffee 24/7, Grab & Go breakfast, food and drinks to buy, and — brilliantly — a proper lounge with sofas, armchairs and a TV rather than simply a hotel waiting area. On our final day we collected our luggage and needed to reorganise our suitcase before the train; having somewhere my seven-year-old could relax while I repacked was enormously helpful. A special thank you to the lady who checked us in and kindly allowed us into our room early. Travelling with a child, that made a real difference. I would definitely consider staying again.

The kitchenette is a fantastic idea but has some surprisingly impractical omissions once you actually try to cook. There was no tea towel, kitchen roll or drying rack/mat, leaving nowhere sensible to dry your hands or washed dishes. We eventually had to move a white bathroom hand towel into the kitchen. There were also no proper preparation knives — only table knives and a cheese knife. Providing a hob, pots and pans but nothing with which to chop vegetables considerably limits what guests can actually cook. There was no salt either. Reception happily provided little sachets when I asked, which made me wonder why a couple aren’t simply placed in each kitchenette. There was also only one dishwasher tablet. These are all very small, easily fixable things, but they stood out because the rest of the apartment has clearly been designed with so much thought. Service was efficient, although apart from the lovely lady at check-in it felt more functional/self-service than particularly warm or welcoming.

No parking, closest is a 5-10 walk. Because the rooms have kitchens there was a smell of cooking, however knowing there was a kitchen you take your chance.

We were given a room for disabled people and when asked a receptionist to change it they simply replied we are all full. They should have given us a heads up about the room before we payed and we would not accept it.

Very clean room bed was comfy good value for money for the 1 night.

I liked the the room and the superb kitchenette , the bed was really comfy and i had 3 good nights sleep in a lovely quiet room . the bathroom was nice including the great shower . I was really pleased with the location of the hotel being so close to the main station and city center , ideal for shopping and nipping back to the hotel for a rest / drink etc . The building was a nice modern welcoming place to hang out in when not in your own room .

Can't think of anything really , it met all of my needs and then some , it made my stay in Newcastle all the more better ! and i would recommend it to anyone .

Great neighbourhood, close to the quayside and to Newcastle Central station (approx. 6 minutes). The studio was small but had everything we could need for our two nights stay. Modern and clean. The staff was lovely and super helpful, we could leave our luggage with them both before and after our stay at this place. It was a nice add-on to have free coffee or tea from the reception coffee machine (although the cups were too small for the portions the machine prepares). Our studio had AC and it worked perfectly. Great value for the price we paid.

Our studio was overlooking trains, some walls and roof, I thought about other "city view" when I booked it. Although the most annoying thing was that windows weren't soundproof at all. This place is close to a busy railway station and we heard trains applying their brakes almost all the time, no matter if it was day or night. And seagulls of course, but I'm quite used to them now ;). Closing the windows didn't help at all, I had to sleep in my noise cancelling earplugs and that wasn't very comfortable.

Excellent location right behind the train station (less than 5 mins walking), close to everything. Baltic museum is just fifteen minutes away o nfoot, for example. Bus stop to port (for ferry travellers to Amsterdam) is ten minutes walk in the opposite direction. The only issue experienced (not sure if to attribute to staff or to booking.com) was that we booked (and therefore paid for) a Smart studio, then at the reception we were offered a Urban studio. Issue rapidly resolved, but check twice while booking, since Urban studios are in the basement and might be an issue if people like me are a little claustrophobic. Anything else, really value for money, and the kitchen works perfectly.

As mentioned above, double check which kind of studio/room you book, to avoid disappointments.

Great location, 5 min walk from the train station, but quiet area. Lovely, well lit, spacious rooms. Very good air conditioning. Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect in every way. Will definitely stay again.

Good location and overall good quality of the rooms and common spaces

My room did not have an exterior window; instead, the only window overlooked the reception corridor, which felt very strange and quite claustrophobic. I asked to be moved, explaining that the room made me feel claustrophobic and that I couldn't stay there, but I was told that no alternative rooms were available. While I understand that the hotel was fully booked, I do not think it is acceptable to offer rooms with no outside-facing window, especially when it was not indicated at the booking stage. The only other room available was one with no window at all, which is even worse.

Lovely modern clean room with mini kitchen comfortable bed and seating area. The bathroom had a waterfall shower and lovely products supplied. Had a hairdryer, good mirror, fridge freezer. Quiet. Ac for increasing and decreasing heat.

No cleaning options to wash dishes or dry in kitchen. Staff could have been more friendly and welcoming on arrival and departure. No friendly chat or questions about our stay. There is a grab and go breakfast where can get a croissant and coffee. Came down at 10am expecting this as was told available until 10:30 but was told all gone and would not bring any more out as checking out despite within the advertised time and checkout was 11am. Basically looked like girl at desk couldn't be bothered and no apologies. Made me feel like it was my fault for coming down too late! Don't forget you are in hospitality!

It had a lovely location right next to the stadium where we were watching Peter Kay. Free breakfast was great love the hot chocolate. Reception were on point.

The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. We really liked the kitchenette in the room as it was an excellent addition. We very much appreciated the croissants and hot drinks from the reception area in the morning.

The property is 5 min walk to the train and metro station and the rooms are well equipped and spacious. There is a grocery store at the train station as well as items you can buy at the hotel so that made for a convenient location too.

Although they had a washer in the laundry room they didn’t have a dryer in the same room. They do provide drying racks and a dryer in an adjoining building. The rooms are geared to be energy efficient so lots of switches throughout the units and a card based main on/off switch. Mistakenly the refrigerator switch got turned off so affected most of the food in the fridge. Suggested they label those key appliance switches so other guests don’t make that mistake. They did comp some a dinner item related to that issue and the Host handled the situation professionally. They did have a few items in their grocery area that were good for a gluten free vegan!

Stayed one night in late May 2026. Ideal location, walking distance from both city centre and the train station. The studio was pristine and equipped with microwave, hobs, etc. Shower and bathroom facilities excellent, all mod cons. Staff were lovely, I was allowed into my room slightly earlier than booked and they looked after my bag for a few hours on my day of departure. Price was relatively high, but I doubt you'd get better for what I wanted in the location I wanted, and I was perfectly satisfied with that. The morning complimentary croissant was much welcome too

Unfortunately, the coffee machine was out of order on my day of departure, but that really is a minor gripe, and the really the only think I can think of!

Room was a bit small for the price but it came with an impressive amount of features. Location was brilliant.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Room was also smaller than expected. A bar in the hotel would be nice.

She said the parking is included and free but it's down in Times square. which is 0.4 miles away. but after parking and walked back, another staff said it wasn't included so it costs us money and time because of this false information. Parking isn't close and isn't easy.

Central location was good for my purposes - attending a conference. Great to have a kitchenette so that I didn't have to go out to find food. Roomzzz also has a small selection of microwave meals in the lobby. The bathroom and room were pristine. Comfortable bed. Nice touch to have free grab and go coffee and croissant available in the morning. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. All round, a positive stay.

Nothing to complain about. The station is not far away and trains can be heard, but decent double glazing meant that this noise is very muted and didn't bother me.

I repeatedly stay here due to the location, the facilities and the value. The staff are great and helpful.

Some of the rooms are clearly in need of a touch up with a few minor things being noticed; scuffs on walls, bathroom grouting and worktops being worn. But these don’t detract from the overall value and facilities.

The free drinks at reception and grab and go croissant were a small but greatly appreciated gesture.

Pulito (aspetto da non sottovalutare in inghilterra), letto comodo, cornetti e caffè gratis la mattina, posizione centrale, staff accogliente, cucina in camera con tutto l occorrente e lavastoviglie. Dalla stanza si vedeva anche il ponte illuminato di sera e la doccia era fantastica grande e con dei semplici bottoni per azionarla

L unica nota stonata è il parcheggio che abbiamo dovuto prenotarlo a circa 8 min a piedi, ma se non siete in macchina questo posto è perfetto. Nello stabile c è anche una lavasciuga a disposizione ma era occupata e piena di tipo panni per pulire e quindi ho desistito dall usarla.
