De locatie is net iets buiten ella maar je kan lopen naar het centrum, daarvoor krijg je wel een erg mooi locatie in de bergen met een hele mooie tuin en een heerlijk ontbijtje in de ochtend.

Only 10min tuktuk from town or you have public bus during all day and you have some amazing restaurants around so the distance was not a problem but a quality. The place is amazing and calm, best place to rest, super vibes, the breakfast is amazing and the owner is super helpful and super fun ! Anyway best place if you want everything, to discover Ella or just take the Train

The view was amazing :) The property had a little table facing the mountains and a hammock. Our room had everything we needed for a perfect stay!

This hotel was not in Expedia as per this property manager when we tried to checkin. I have not got refund yet. Please don’t book here and this hotel says that they don’t have any booking through Expedia. Expedia still researching for resolution.

We have been 3 days here and everything were great. Firstly, the view is amazing with a good panorama of the mountains of Ella and the room has all you need. Just the breakfast worth the price, we had three different kinds of them and we enjoyed the real taste of Sri Lanka every time differently with very good portions and fresh local fruits. The place, as I said, was great but what we will never forget is the kindness and hospitality of the owner; he absolutely changed our experience with lots of small details that we had really appreciated. Honestly in three days we cannot have any complaints at all, everything have been more than the expectation.

The panorama is wonderful as I said so plan to rent a scooter or to take tuk-tuk. It’s not in the centre of Ella

The owner is one of the friendliest hosts I ever met. He made me feel very comfortable, prepared a very nice breakfast and let me have my space. The location is also perfect as it is quiet and from the garden you enjoy a wonderful view on green Ella and surroundings.

We absolutely loved our time at this guesthouse. Our host was incredibly kind and attentive from start to finish — always smiling, helpful, and full of great tips to explore Ella and the surrounding area. Thanks to him, we discovered amazing hikes and local spots we wouldn’t have found otherwise. The breakfast was absolutely incredible — varied, generous, and full of flavor. And one day, he even prepared a special curry for us after hearing how much we love it — one of the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka! The rooms are simple but very comfortable, with everything you need, in true Sri Lankan style. The place is peaceful, with a nice garden, a bit outside the center, but you can easily rent a scooter from him to explore the area. A place not to miss in Ella — thank you again for the unforgettable welcome!

It is a little bit up in the hill, so you need your own main of transport. We rented a bike and it was not a problem for us the distance

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a great location with a stunning view. The host was so sweet and lovely and helped us in anyway he could. We were given a local number for a tuk tuk and information on bus times etc. we highly recommend staying here

Incredible stayed. The place is so beautiful, surrounded by nature and fauna. Our room was great, clean and tidy. Roshen was an incredible host, super kind and always welcome to help, he arranged the ride to the train station and he got our laundry washed. The breakfast is delicious and you can also have dinner there and it was really good as well.

We had a lovely stay at T-more. Although located out of the city centre it’s an amazing oasis with the friendliest hosts! Highly recommend upgrading to the balcony room as it is very clean, and comfortable! The breakfasts were great and overall was such good value! The host was so funny and we had many good laughs together, thank you so much for the stay we had the best time!

Have spent a lot of my adult life travelling and staying in hostels and you know a good one when you get them. This one is great. The brother's do everything they can to make your stay as chill and enjoyable as can be. Stay here if you want a relaxed social atmosphere with a great view, away from the busy, hectic, too many burnt annoying british people, centre. Great location for hiking to ella's rock or pekoe trail too and easily walkable to town on the tracks. Breakfasts are sick, huge and great get them.

The staff was lovely and very welcoming.They helped us with everything, even got us a cheaper tuktuk when needed.

Sadly there was mold on the walls, the bathroom was dirty and there were bugs hanging from the ceiling. Overall, not a good experience.

The views were outstanding, esp from the balcony rooms. There’s a meditation centre next door which the owner took me to so I could meet the head monk and get permission to meditate there which I really appreciated. The owner is a super nice guy and the general atmosphere was great.

My room wasn’t clean and looked extremely shabby so I was a little disappointed, however I saw they are renovating the two balcony rooms which is great. Both just need a deep clean to make them 10/10 rooms. All things considered I would definitely recommend T-More.

The host and his brother are amazing. We played a lot of games together. They are so friendly and funny, i wish them both the best. Really beautiful place in the mountain. Higly recommend.

Location, views, staff

The property is located slightly outside of town, making it the ideal spot for those seeking peaceful solitude. The rooms are simple and the beds are comfortable enough for a restful stay. However, the true highlight is the host—hands down the best I’ve ever encountered. He’s an incredibly kind and genuine person who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. To top it all off, he spoils you with a delicious breakfast to kickstart your day.

Host was lovely, super helpful couldn’t do more for us. Organised scooter and tuk tuk to next location. Comfortable bed and pillow. Would recommend balcony room over budget room. Offered us a kettle and blanket and useful fridge in the room

A bed sheet in the room would be good as there is no duvet cover.

What a wonderful experience I had with this host! I think he was one of the kindest people I met in all of Sri Lanka! Upon our arrival, a cockroach got into my room, which I imagine happened because it was raining and they tend to come inside more often. He immediately moved me to another room without charging anything extra for it. The accommodation is a bit far from city center, but the host arranged a motorbike rental for us, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The breakfast he served was plentiful and delicious! He truly went above and beyond to offer us the best stay in Ella. Thank you so much for all your attention and help!

Amazing owner, beautiful location

It was such a beautiful location overlooking the mountains and felt private and secluded. The room was clean, spacious and lovely balcony view. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable and I’m so grateful I stayed there and would love to come again

Roshen, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel as home. Helped us navigating through popular viewpoints and hikes, cooked amazing food and provide a sense of true care for the people who stay at his place. We would come back to Sri Lanka just to meet him again. Meeting local people like him makes the trip worth it and brings an authentic experience to your memories. The place itself has astounding views and it's located on top of the hill, away from the crowds. Close to Ella Rock trailhead and surrounded by local shops and cafes with friendly locals. Our room was clean and tidy, with excellent views. Perfect value for the price.

Host was a wonderful guy. He helped us beyond his capacity. We wanted to have pure veg food. He accompanied us to a local shop in night for purchasing veg maggi and fruits. Very honest and down to earth person. Wish him all the best for future. May God bless him.

Super nice and vary caring host. Great value for the price. The location is very beautiful and we just rented a bike to move around. The food he makes is also very good and reasonably priced.
